Author Note: It is time for a new story and I hope that you enjoy it. I decided to change this story's summary yet again because I was not a fan of how it was coming out. I decided to make the word count longer for this upcoming stories. I am glad that I have finally landed on this fanfiction story and it's coming out wonderful. I am going to try to have the word count get bigger as we go along.

Chapter 1
Steve walked into headquarters and knew that he needed to tell the team about the new case that he just got from HPD. He was not sure what was going to happen but knew that it was not going to work out well. He loved his niece but did not want to be with kids all day long but since Danny, Lou, and Junior were not exciting in the place to pretend that they were teachers. He was the only one that could do it.
"Are you sure about this?" Danny asked his friend as he sat down in Steve's office with him.
"Yeah, it's the only way that we can do this." Steve responded to his friend.
"Steve, I am the one that has kids and know how to handle them." Danny responded to his friend.
"So let me get this straight, you want to go undercover for this case and think that you can handle 20 plus kids all day long." Steve said to his friend.
"Well no but what about Lou and Junior?" Danny questioned his friend.
"They already said that they don't want to do this so why are you fighting me on this?" Steve responded to his friend. "You and I both know that Lou is too tough on children and Junior has another case that he is working on so I am the only one that can do it."
"Yeah I know and it's good but keep in contact with us." Danny responded to his friend.
"I will trust me. Nothing is going to happen to me." Steve revealed to him.
"I know that nothing is going to happen to you because you are like a super seal. I am just worried about the kids that are going to be in your care." Danny responded to his friend.
"You don't think that I can handle it because I can. Just believe me." Steve revealed to his friend.
A few hours went by and Steve knew that it was time to meet with the school. Danny came with him to provide support. The principal was going to be the only one that knew that he was undercover so they could figure it out. After they left the school, Danny knew that Steve was going to have a hard time.
"Are you sure about this?" Danny asked his friend.
"Yeah, I am sure about this so why do we have to go through this again?" Steve questioned his friend.
"Because I want to make sure that you know what you are doing." Danny responded to his friend.
"I know what I am doing and it's going to be fine." Steve revealed to his friend.
They spend the rest of the day at headquarters and went home. Steve was not nervous about his first day as a teacher.
"How did you sleep?" Danny texted his friend.
"It was rough but I know that it's going to be okay." Steve responded to his friend with a smile as he went to go get some coffee.
"Are you sure? You are trading in bad guys for little shits." Danny said to his friend.
"They are not little shits. They are kids. How bad can it be?" Steve responded to him.
"You have no idea." Danny said to his friend with a smile and laugh.
"Danny, it's not funny. I bet you that today is going to be fine." Steve said to his friend before heading upstairs to get ready for the day.
By the time that Steve got back downstairs, He noticed that Danny was gone. He could not believe that Danny was acting that he was trading in bad guys for little kids that might be harder for him to deal with. However he had Joan, Charlie, Lou's kids and Grace to worry about and if there is something going on in the schools then he wanted to find out and put a stop to it. He was not paying any attention when Grover came into the house.
"Hey what is going on?" Grover said to his friend.
"Getting ready to go to the school." Steve responded to him.
"Are you nervous?" Grover asked his friend with a smile.
"No, before you said anything remembering that they are kids and we are here to protect them." Steve responded to his friend.
"Yeah, you are right about that" Grover responded to his friend with a small smile.
"Listen I need to start going so I will see you later." Steve responded to his friend with a smile before grabbing his bag. He knew that he needed to take his badge and gun but did not want anyone to see it to keep his cover.
"So where are you going to put these?" Grover asked his friend.
"Well right now, I am going to put it in my bag and when I get to the school then I will put it somewhere safe." Steve responded to his friend before putting his gun and badge in his bag. Both Grover and Steve walked out of the house, Steve got into the truck and headed to work.
Meanwhile Marissa was getting ready for the day when her brother walked into the room. He sat down on the bed.
"So are you ready for today?" Her brother asked her.
"Yeah but we need to be careful on how we do this. I am worried that the cops are on you." She responded to him.
"The cops are not on to me. Why would you say that?" He asked her.
"Because I have a feeling that the new teacher that is starting today is a cop which means that you need to be careful about what you do outside of my school. They will tie me to you and I can't have that. I love my job." She revealed to her brother.
"Relax, this new teacher is not a cop and you need to relax. Okay?" He responded to her.
"I will try to but I am telling you to be careful." She responded to her brother with a smile.
"Okay, I will be really careful why I do my business at your work." He said before getting up. He knew that his sister needed to go to work.
"Okay, Thank you. I do need to leave for work now. I will see you later." She responded to her brother before leaving. She got to work about twenty minutes later to find the new teacher pulling in.
"Ahloa, my name is Marissa and you are?" Marissa greeted him with a smile.
"My name is John Morgan." Steve revealed his undercover name to her since he did not know if he could trust her not being in on with what was going on.
"Well it's really nice to meet you." she responded to him.
"It is so nice to meet you as well." Steve said to her. "I need some help finding the office and then my classroom, do you think that you can help me?"
"Yes, I can help you." She responded to him as they walked to the office. Steve had a meeting with HR and the principal before going to his classroom. "So what grade are you teaching?"
"Kindergarten, what grade do you teach?" Steve asked her.
"I also teach Kindergarten." She responded with a smile.
She was starting to think that Steve was not so bad as she thought that he was. She still had a feeling that he was a cop. She was going to get to the button of it. When they got out of school for the day, Steve ran into Marissa.
"Going home?" Steve asked her.
"Yeah. I have a family dinner with my mom." She revealed to him.
"That sounds fun." He responded to her.
"Do you have any family?" She asked him.
"No, I am only child." Steve responded to her even through that was a lie about it. He did not want to share about his personal life that would give him away as an undercover cop.
"Well I will see you tomorrow." She said to him with a smile. She watched him walked to the car. She walked over to her car and got it in.
"So who is the guy?" Her brother asked her.
"His name is John Morgan. He is the new teacher." She responded to him. "My suggestion is that you better look into him."
"Oh trust me that I will look into him." Her brother said to his sister as he got out of the car. She took a deep breath and started to drive away.
Steve got home after dropping off his rental car at the underground parking before getting into his truck. He pulled into his driveway to find Danny there.
"How was your first day?" Danny asked his friend.
"It was good until Charlie saw me. I thought that you had talked to Rachael to keep him at a different school while I am working there undercover." Steve said to his friend.
"Yeah, I talked to her. Why do you asked?" Danny asked his friend.
"because your son almost told the whole school who I was." Steve responded to his friend.
"Yeah, I will talk to Charlie and let him know not to greet you at the school by your real name." Danny promised his friend with a smile.
"Why are you smiling?" He asked his friend.
"Because I like this about you." Danny responded to his friend.
"Oh be quiet." he responded to him.
"Okay, Let's talk about what is going on with the case?" Danny said to his friend while wanting to change the topic.
"I met a girl name Marissa. She says that she is an only child but there was a man in her car. I am going to ask about him tomorrow." Steve revealed to him.
Meanwhile Marissa walked into her apartment to get ready for her dinner with her mom. She so badly wanted her brother out of his life but knew that he would not get out of it without help. She also knew that her mother wanted her to help him get out. She heard a knock on the door and went to open it.
"Hey mom." She greeted her mother with a smile.
"I did something to help your brother." Her mother revealed her daughter. Marissa knew that this was not going to end good for her brother.
"What did you do?" She asked her mother. She could tell that her mother was not going to tell her. "Mom, I need to know what you did so I can help my brother who is also your son?"
"Believe me that I want to tell you but I can't do that." her mother said to her.
