Hello Everyone! Aggro The Fire Fury is me and Aggro The Fire Fury is now posting the first bit of this story! This is just the first chapter, told from Summer, Winger, Cutter, Leyla, and Aggro's perspectives. This is NOT a Wings of Fire story... But the show this story is based on is not an option on this site. So I had to go with what I could... But I hope you enjoy what my crazy dreams have created yet again. Haha heh! Anyways, with all that out of the way, I hope you enjoy reading this crazy story of mine. Now, without further ado, let's take flight.

oOo

Was that a human? In the water? She looked like she needed help. Summer couldn't just sit here and do nothing. But mama Fastfin said humans are just trouble! But something about this girl seemed... Different. She had to save her. Summer swam as fast as possible, right toward her. She seemed a bit frightened when Summer grabbed her. Summer pulled her up toward the surface and out of the ocean. She gasped for breath, coughing and sputtering. "Leyla!" Yelled a different voice. A boy, riding a dragon. A sorta handsome dragon... Wait what was she thinking? "Dak!" The girl named Leyla shouted back. Summer flew over to the boy, Dak, and dropped Leyla on the dragon's back. "Thank you for saving her." He said with a relieved smile on his face. "Hehe... No p-problem! Soooo, you just let humans ride on your back?" She asked. "I'm Leyla, and this is my brother Dak." Leyla spoke to her. "Hay." Dak said. "Um... Hi. I'm Summer." She said kind of sheepishly. "Thank you so much for saving me, Summer." Leyla said. "You understand dragons?" She asked, shocked. Leyla nodded. Dak launched into a story about how they were ship recked as small children and raised by a mother dragon. Once he finished, he said "I'm sorry, but we really have to get going. We need to take this dragon egg back to its nest." Summer looked down and saw that the blue dragon was holding a greenish egg. "Oh, right of course! A Slinkwing egg! Be careful around them, they are greedy dragons. They spit super sticky slime which can cause a dragon's wings to stick together, therefore disabling the ability to fly." Everyone was staring at her. "Wow sis, she sure knows a lot about dragons. Like someone else I know." Dak said. Leyla looked thoughtful for a minute. "Hay Summer... I know we just met but... Do you maybe want to come with us? You can help us with rescues!" She said. Go with them? Rescue other dragons? A life of adventure? That sounds... Awesome! "Uh, sure! I can do that, sounds fun!" Summer told them. "Great! Welcome to the team, Summer." Said the dragon. "By the way, my name's Winger."

"Summer! Summer, we're here!" Winger was saying. "Sorry, I must have dazed off." She said. "Don't worry Summer, I do that a lot." Said Burple. It has been a year since Summer joined the Rescue Riders, and they got some new recruits over that time. Burple, the Rock Spitter. Cutter, the Relentless Razorwing. And Aggro, the Fire Fury. Summer had also developed a crush on Winger, who she was closest too. But he would never like her the way she likes him, right?

Summer had been daydreaming again, and she almost flew right into a rock stack. Luckily he got her attention before that happened. They landed on the islands coast, nearby some berry bushes. "Alright everyone! Grab as much supplies as you can carry! We have some rough training tomorrow!" Winger told his team. At once everyone scattered, knowing what they would be gathering. Summer dove into the ocean, looking for the special red snapper that can only be found on this island. She flew back up with one in her claws. She was so graceful... "Winger!" Dak waved Winger's hands in front of his face. "Huh? Oh, Dak, uh what's up?" He said, caught off guard. We're supposed to be getting the wood with Cutter, not watching Summer fish." He said. "Right! Right! Sorry." He hopped on Winger's back and he flew over to gather up the wood that Cutter sliced. Dak had caught him staring at Summer! But in his defense, she is kind of cute... No! He is a Swiftwing, she is a Fastfin. Even if he DID like her like that, it wouldn't work out. But it doesn't matter, he doesn't like her like that... Right?

But little did any of the Rescue Riders know, that there lives would be drastically changed when both Dak and Leyla wake up one morning as dragons. But they find a way to make it work, and they learn to cope with two new yet old human-turned dragon teammates. But they're the Rescue Riders, and Rescue Riders help there friends, even if they are two human-turned dragons.

They were in the middle of training. Cutter was about to take his shot, when a rock flew by his head. "Burple!" He yelled. "Be careful where you aim!" He looked confused. "It wasn't me." He said. "Then... Who was it?" Cutter wondered. "I'll check it out." Said Winger. He flew up to the roof of the roost and looked out at the village. "Guys, you're going to want to see this for yourself." He said. Everyone followed him to town, Cutter shooting at the target before leaving. He hit it right in the middle. "Bullseye!" He cheered as he flew up to meet Winger. They landed behind a crowd of people, and they let them through so they could see. "Oh great. It's Magnus." Aggro said. Sure enough, Magnus Finke stood there next to what looked like a shovel on a mechanical box. "Behold! My rock tossing machine!" He shouted. "This way we won't need Burple! This machine shoots the rocks for us!" So now he wanted to replace them one at a time, huh? "Oh boy!" He said. "This should be interesting."

Magnus made a rock launching device? "Why exactly do we need a rock launching machine if we have Burple?" Summer asked him. "Well, because it's better than Burple! Right, Axel?" Magnus turned to his nephew. "Huh? Oh yeah, right. Sure." Axel seemed off today. "What do you think is up with Axel? He seems kind of... Sad." Leyla whispered to Winger. "Not sure, but we have to focus on the machine for now." Winger whispered back. "As I pull this lever, it will launch another rock! Watch how far it goes!" Magnus was telling the crowd. They all watched as he put a rock on the shovel part of the machine. Then he pulled the lever... It shot the rock about 2 inches. "What? Come on, work! Axel! What did you do to the machine?!" Magnus started accusing Axel of tampering with the controls. "But I didn't do anything! I wasn't even near it, you saw!" Axel was protesting. So that's why he seemed down. Magnus is being a flat out jerk to him. "Hay Magnus! Why not be nicer to your nephew?" Dak yelled. "All he does is your slave work, you should be grateful!" Summer added. The crowd murmured in agreement. "Oh be quiet! What do you know about his life?" Magnus snapped as he started kicking the machine. He put a boulder on the shovel part and gave the machine another large kick. Then it shot the boulder straight toward Winger. Without thinking, Leyla jumped in front of him and smacked the boulder to the side. She had just saved Winger! "Hay, thanks Leyla!" He said, smiling. "No problem at all!" She said back, a bit over enthusiastic. Then the rock launching machine started smoking. It blew up in Magnus's face. "This is outrageous! Axel, clean this up!" He yelled. "You are way to hard on Axel! Why don't you just CLEAN IT YOURSELF?!" Leyla shouted at Magnus, forgetting that he can't speak dragon. Apparently she scared him though, because he grabbed his machine, looked at Leyla like she was an eel, and ran for the hills. Axel nodded at her, then followed Magnus. Wait, did he nod at her? Or was that the sun getting in her eyes? It didn't matter now, Magnus was taken care of. "Wow Leyla! Great job on telling off Magnus!" Aggro congratulated her. "Thanks. We should probably get back to the roost though, I want to finish training." She said. Leyla took the lead, the whole time thinking about how she had saved Winger.

They finished up training at the Roost, Aggro with the best performance. "Nice job today everyone! You all worked very hard, especially Aggro! You're really improving!" Dak congratulated. "Thanks Dak. I do try my best." Aggro said. "That's pretty evident." Cutter told her. "Cutter and Burple were really good with that team move though. Burple, great idea knocking the target toward Cutter's spike! If you hadn't he would have missed!" Aggro said. "Oh yeah! I totally meant to do that! It definitely wasn't an accident." Burple replied. "Leyla was really great too! She hit every target dead on! And remember when she saved me from that bolder?" Winger said. Leyla looked down and avoided eye contact. "You really think I did well?" She asked. That was different. She has never acted like this before. "Of course! When do you not do well?" Winger complimented her. She kept looking down and mumbled a "thanks." Winger walked to the sleep cave with Cutter and Burple, all of them talking about how tired they were. Leyla turned around to follow and Summer caught a hint of red on her face. Was she blushing? She signaled for Dak and she trotted over. "What's up Sum?" She asked. "Did you see Leyla's reaction to Winger's compliments? I thought I saw her blushing." She told her. "Nah, she's probably just hot from all the training. I worked up a sweat myself!" She said. "No, there's definitely something different going on here." She claimed. Dak shrugged. "Whatever you say." Summer looked her in the eyes. "There's something different going on, and I'm going to need your help to find out what it is." She said.

"I am SO tired! I could sleep for a year!" Cutter commented. "Yeah, me too! I can just hear my bed calling my name... Burple... Burple! Come sleep in me! But maybe have a snack first." Burple replied. "Hay Winger! Did you see Leyla's face when you complimented her? She looked like Aggro with the dragon flu!" Cutter said to him. "What? Are you sure you saw right?" He asked. "Oh, I DEFINITELY saw right. Don't you remember? I have the best eyesight!" Cutter said. "Do you know what this means?" He asked slyly. "I know what this means!... What does it mean?" Burple asked. "It means Leyla likes you Winger!" Cutter exclaimed. "What?! No, I'm sure she was just flattered. We also trained pretty hard, I'm sure some of it was from the heat." Winger protested against Cutter's statement. Leyla couldn't possibly like him! "Ok then. Burple! What do you think?" Cutter asked. "Uh, I don't know, maybe she likes Winger?" Burple said, unsure how to answer. "All I know is that it's my bedtime. Goodnight guys." Burple said. "Yeah, I should be getting some sleep as well. Goodnight." Winger watched as Burple and Cutter lay down in their hay beds. He looked over at his. He was really tired, but he couldn't possibly sleep. Was it true? He laid down in his bed, wondering the question on his mind. Does Leyla actually like him?

Leyla laid on the roof for a long time, gazing up at the stars. She acted so stupid when Winger said she did a good job. Why did she do that? "Leyla? There you are! Why aren't you in the sleep cave?" Aggro came up to her. She jumped at the sound of her voice, not expecting anyone to find her here. "Oh! I uh... I just wanted to get a good look at the stars! If you look up and to the right you can see the Little Dipper." She lied. "Yeah sure. Why are you really up here?" Aggro didn't fall for it. Leyla sighed in defeat. "It's because... I feel bad about earlier. I acted like a complete idiot around Winger!" Leyla said. "Huh? All he said was you did well in training. We're the Rescue Riders, we always compliment each other. Why are you acting different now?" She looked really confused. "It's because... I like Winger."

Aggro's jaw dropped open in shock. "You what?!" Leyla didn't want to repeat herself, so instead she just looked at her feet. "Leyla, why didn't you tell me earlier?" She asked. "Because I was afraid you would make fun of me. You know, since we aren't even the same species and all." Leyla said, being completely honest. "I would never make fun of you! None of us wou-ok maybe Cutter would, but I won't!" Aggro started to pace. "This isn't just some small thing, this is huge! You need to let him know!" She said. "Wait, tell Winger I like him? No way! I could never, what if he doesn't like me back?" If he didn't like her the same way... Maybe she needs to rethink this... "What? No! You don't have to tell him directly! Drop a few hints, you know? But don't make it too obvious. You need to give him a chance to fall in love with you." Aggro told her. "How can I give him that chance if we are almost never alone?" Leyla asked. Aggro looked thoughtful. "Hmmm... Don't worry about that, I have a plan."

Winger woke up to Summer pacing the room like a caged animal. "Morning Sum! What's got you so stressed?" He asked. "I'm not stressed, I'm just wondering what's wrong with Leyla." She told him. "You're still on about that?" He couldn't believe that his friend was still worried about Leyla turning a little red. "It's more then just what happened yesterday. I found Aggro and Leyla whispering to each other and stopping abruptly when they saw me. I asked what was up and they insisted it was nothing." Summer reported. Hmm. That didn't sound like Leyla. She continued, "I think I might have a plan to find out what's happening."

"Alright Leyla, remember how you practiced. Just go up and ask him if he wants to go for a fly. Be cool about it, and remember, don't be too obvious." Aggro was giving Leyla a quick talk, then she motioned for her to go. Aggro jumped behind a tree to watch. She walked right up to Winger and started talking to him. He turned around and said something, then she continued. He nodded and said something else, looking happy. He must have loved the idea of joy flying. They both took off into the sky. Well that went well Aggro thought as she flew out from behind the tree to follow them.

Leyla was flying right next to Winger. The plan actually worked! "So, did you have anywhere specific you wanted to go?" Winger asked her. "Um, I didn't have one, no." Leyla said. She should have thought that through! "Hmm, I think I have a place." He said. Leyla followed him to a small island next to hazard island. "This is Berry Island. Can you guess why it's named that?" Winger asked. "Because there are so many different types of berries here?" She guessed. "Exactly! But I always practice mastering my megablast here, so now I just call this place megablast island." He said. They landed on the coast near two large rocks. "The sand is so soft!" Leyla said. "Wait until you taste the mejaberries!" Winger said back. "I've never heard of mejaberries." "That's because not many people know about them." He lead Leyla to a bush of indigo berries. "Try some." He prompted as he ate a few off the bush. She saw three on the same branch and chomped down. A world of flavor exploded in her mouth. "They're amazing!" She exclaimed. Juicy like a fresh apple, but even more juice. Sweet like a cherry, but a bit sweeter. Crunchy like a pear, but slightly softer. "These ones are pinjoberries." Winger gestured to a bush of light green berries. "They're pretty good too." Leyla said as she tried them. Soon they were running around, eating every berry they saw. Then Leyla decided to grab some fish, which proved to be easy considering they hung out in the shallows. After a fish feast they played a few rounds of volleyrock (Winger winning by 2 points). "We should probably get going, the sun is going down." She said. "Wait! I want to show you one more thing." He said back. Leyla looked over at the two large rocks. She should be there. "Ok, but I'll be a second." She told Winger. He nodded as Leyla trotted behind the rocks.

"Aggro? Are you here?" Leyla asked. She came out of a crack in one of the rocks. "Hay Leyla. You're doing great with Winger." She said. "Thanks. It's getting late though, you should head back to the roost. Winger and I will catch up." Leyla told her. "Ok then, see you there." Aggro replied. She flew off and Leyla came out from behind the rocks. "There you are Leyla! What were you doing?" Winger asked her. She had to think of something quick. "Just uh, getting a drink!" "Why do you have to go behind the rocks to do that?" "The water back there, um, tasts the freshest?" "Whatever you say, Ley. Come on, there's something I want to show you." Winger walked her to a cave in the center of the island. The entrance was a downstream slope. He lead Leyla down and through a tunnel. "Are we underground?" She asked. "Yup. Hey, look to your right." He said. Leyla turned her head to see a large blue crystal in the wall. "Wow! That's beautiful!" She exclaimed. "Not as beautiful as you." Winger said with a smirk. "W-What?" Did he just?! He immediately realized what he said and turned bright red. "Uh, no I didn't mean... Um, just follow me we are almost there." He stammered. They walked a few minutes in silence. Did he just call her beautiful?

AAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! He just called Leyla beautiful! To her face! Without realizing it at first! Winger why?! He's such an idiot! They walked in silence for a long time before reaching the destination. "So, uh, we're here." He said. Leyla glanced around. "Why does the wall have so many black marks?" She asked. "That's why we're here. This is the place where I practice my megablast. I think I almost mastered it!" He told her. "Really? Can you show me?" Well, that gave him a chance to impress her. Wait what? Why would he want to do that? Maybe... He does like her... He crouched down and lowered his jaw. He felt the megablast forming in his throat. It was now or never. He shot the blast out of his mouth. It hit the nearest rock, blowing it to pebbles. "Wow. Nice job Winger. That was a huge megablast!" Leyla congratulated him. "Thanks! I've been working really hard and I think I'm getting the hang of it." He said. "I bet you are! We should probably get back to the roost though, our friends are probably wondering where we are." She told him. "Yeah, you're probably right. Come on, I know the way." Winger lead Leyla through the tunnel back to the cave entrance. But it wasn't there. Maybe he took a wrong turn. We took a path to the left. Dead end. "Where are we?" Leyla asked. "I think I took a wrong turn, we can always backtrack." He said. Leyla and Winger walked a long, crazy path through the apparent maze of a cavern. "Look! Sunset light ahead!" He shouted excitedly. They ran towards the exit. Winger burst into the open world, Leyla right behind him. "Fresh air!" She said, relieved. He flew up into the air, stretching his wings. But then Leyla asked something that made worry grip his insides. "Where's Hazard Island?" He looked all around him but Hazard Island was no where in sight. "The two large rocks are gone too..." He said. "There are barely any berry bushes here. Winger, this is NOT megablast island!"

Aggro stretched and yawned. It was bedtime. Everyone was in the sleep cave. Everyone except Leyla and Winger. Are they still at megablast island? Did they want to sleep there overnight? Or had something bad happened? She decided not to say anything about it. "Aggro? Where's Leyla? I haven't seen her all day." Summer asked. "And I can't find Winger. Do you think they went somewhere together?" Dak wondered. "No idea where they are, try asking Cutter or Burple." She told them. "We already did. Plus, I saw you whispering to Leyla, remember? I know you know something about this." Summer insisted. "No really. I have no idea." Aggro lied. But Summer was onto her. "Where did they go Aggro?" She said. "Ugh fine! They went to megablast island. I don't know why they haven't come back." She gave in and told them. "I've never heard of a megablast island..." Dak said. "Right! It's actually called berry island but Winger practices his megablast there so he calls it megablast island." Aggro explained. Summer gasped. "Isn't that the one next to Hazard Island?" She said, sounding worried. "Uh-huh. It is." She confirmed. "Did they go into the cave?" She asked. "Yup. They did." Aggro told her. "Aggro! Dak! That cave shifts its paths every five days! They could be stuck inside or wind up on a far away island!" "Wait, another island? How does that work?" Aggro asked. "The tunnel travels underwater. It leads to multiple different islands all far from each other." Summer said. "So that means..." "Winger and Leyla are in danger!" Dak finished her sentence. "Cutter! Burple! We have a rescue!" Summer said.

They had wound up on a completely different island. Who knows how far they were from home? "Leyla I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to get us lost!" Winger said. "It's ok, I know you didn't mean to." She reassured him. "What we need to focus on is how to get back to the Roost." They searched the island for any food or shelter. They found nothing. "Maybe we try the cave again?" Winger suggested. "No way! Not until tomorrow, I'm exhausted." She said. "Well I'm hungry." He told her. "Any chance you can catch us some fish?" "I can try." Leyla walked over to the water. It stretches out far, it looked like it never ended. She dove into the water. There were no fish in sight. She swam deeper. It grew dark quickly. Something was following her. She could hear the snake like sounds. She turned around ready to fight or flee if need be, but there was nothing there. Suddenly, out of nowhere, an eel shot toward her left arm. It grabbed one with its razor teeth. Leyla punched its face and it let go. She swiftly swam up and flew out of the water. "Eels!" Leyla shouted to Winger. She landed in a heap on the cold night sand. "It's ok, you're alright now." He was reassuring her. Her arm stung badly. Leyla looked down at it. She was bleeding. Winger saw and left immediately. He came back shortly after with some vines and large leaves. "We better bandage that up. Don't want it getting infected, you know?" He said. Leyla held out her arm for him and he went right to work. When he had fully bandaged her arm, he rested his claw on mine. "You're better now, no more eels can get you here." He said. "Thanks Winger." She said back. They stayed like this for a few moments before Winger realized what he was doing. He quickly pulled his claw back and blushed. "Look, it's been a long day, why don't we get some sleep?" He said. Leyla nodded her head, pretty exhausted herself. Winger lead her to a circle of trees. He laid down under one of them, falling asleep shortly after. Leyla laid down near him, giving him space. She listened to the sound of the waves and the crickets chirping in the night. Eventually she drifted off to a peaceful slumber.

The warm spring sun shown down on them. Winger had woken up only a few minutes ago, but he continued to lay down. The sun felt so good on his scales! Winger's stomach growled loudly. He had not eaten anything last night because they didn't find any food. Now that it was a new day he was even more hungry. He got up, deciding to find breakfast for him and Leyla. There were no berry bushes. There were no fish. He almost gave up when his eyes caught a glimpse of red in a tree. Apples! Winger excitedly flew over and picked a bunch. He found a few beetles on the tree as well. Winger flew back to Leyla, but she was still asleep. He decided not to wake her, she looked so peaceful and happy. Winger munched on a few apples, but he made sure there were enough for Leyla. When she finally woke up, Winger slid some apples and beetles to her direction. "Thanks Winger, I'm starving!" She said. He watched her eat her breakfast, getting up when she finished. "You ready to go back into the tunnels?" He asked her. "I'm ready." She replied. Leyla and Winger made there way in the cave. They took the downward slope to the maze of tunnels. "Alright, which path should we take first?" He asked. Leyla walked over to one on the right. "I think this one." She said. They traveled the tunnel for about an hour before coming to a fork in the road. "Hmm... Which way?" She wondered out loud. Winger looked down the right path, then the left. "This one." He said, gesturing to the left path. "That one is darker..." Leyla said. "But it goes upwards." Winger told her. She looked thoughtful for a minute, then she nodded. "Ok." She followed him up the path. It leveled out and split three different ways. One lead back down and into the darkness. One sounded windy and eerie. The last one looked normal, plus it went up even more. Without thinking, Leyla and Winger took the upwards path. They traveled for about two hours before he heard Leyla shout "daylight!" Sure enough, the path lead out into the open. They ran towards it, happy to be free of the endless black tunnels. But when they came out, they were somewhere even worse. "Oh no. Winger... There are the Cursed Shores." Leyla said, sounding worried. The sand was charcoal black and all the trees were dead. There were fish skeletons along the coast. The water even looked reddish. "Maybe we should've taken a different path." Leyla said. "Do you at least think there's any food here?" He asked. "Winger, you don't understand. This island is home to many dangerous creatures and if there was any food, it would probably be rotten or poisoned." She said. "Ok, I guess we just backtrack through the cave. No big deal." Winger said back. Just as they were about to enter, a scorpion the size of Cutter blocked there path. It hissed viciously. "Run!" Leyla screamed. They flew up into the air as fast as they could. The giant scorpion scuttled around, trying to find out how to get them. A giant centipede crawled up next to it. It looked at them, pulled its head back, and spat a mouthful of acid in there direction. They dodged in the nick of time. A flock of vultures flew in behind them, trying to attack them. Leyla dove past the scorpion and into the cave. Winger followed her lead, escaping the cursed Shores. They flew through the tunnel at top speed, only stopping to catch there breath. "I think we lost them." Leyla said, panting. They were back at the three way fork. They had two options the eerie path or the dark downward path. "We shouldn't go down so... Creepy way it is." Winger said. They cautiously stepped down the tunnel. Nothing tried to attack them. They walked on in spooky silence. All they heard was the eerie howling wind as they stalked further down the path.

All she wanted was some alone time with Winger. That lead to spending hours in a cave, completely lost and far from home. It lead to a light breakfast with no other food in sight. It lead to being attacked by vultures and giant insects on the Cursed Shores. Leyla, what have you done? Now they were causally strolling through a dark creepy tunnel to who knows where. Winger stopped in his tracks, causing Leyla to bump into him. "Do you hear that?" He asked. She stopped to listen. It sounded like running water. "Yeah, where's that coming from?" Leyla asked back. He glanced around. "Look!" He said. "That section of ceiling is bright! Maybe there's land above us." Leyla thought about it for a moment. It cdid seem possible. "But what if the rushing water is above us?" She asked. "If we were to power blast our way out, and if there is water above us..." "Then we would just end up drowning." Winger finished her sentence. "Maybe we can test it out. What if we poked a hole in the ceiling? Just a small one. Then, if water spills out, we would have time to escape!" His plan seemed pretty logical. "Good idea." Leyla said. Winger reached his claw up to the ceiling and poked a hole. Nothing came out. He made it deeper. Nada. "I hope we're right about this." He said, readying a power blast. He opened his mouth and shot at the ceiling... And they were exposed to sunlight and fresh air. He looked at Leyla and smiled. They flew out of the hole, ready for anything that might be waiting on the island. But there was nothing. All around them there were fruit trees and berry bushes. The grass was super soft and green. There was a beautiful clear water stream to there right, filled with colorful fish swimming in the bright sunlight. "Winger... This island is beautiful!" Leyla exclaimed. "And full of food!" He looked at her with a grin. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" He asked. Leyla nodded. "Lunch time!"

"Come on guys, we have to go faster!" Summer yelled to Cutter and Burple. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But can we take a break? I'm so tired." Cutter said, yawning. "Why are we here again?" Asked Burple, dozing off. "To save Leyla and Winger, haven't you been listening?" Aggro told them. Aggro was leading the way to berry island. Or, as she calls it, megablast island. They had tried to let the dragons sleep for the night, but none of them got any sleep due to worry. "We're almost there guys, just a few more minutes." Burn encouraged the tired dragons. "In fact, I can see the island right up ahead!" Sure enough, Berry Island was right there. We landed right next to the cave. "This cave, right Aggro?" Summer asked the fire dragon. "There are no other caves on this island, so yes. This one." She answered. Summer walked over and inspected it. "Just as I thought. Guys, take a look at this." Summer called everyone over. "The entrance! It's completely shut!" Burn exclaimed. "Like I said, the path shuffles randomly every 5 days." She reminded them. "They could be hurt! Or trapped! Or... Without food!" Burple said, putting emphases on the no food part. "We have to open the entrance!" She said with determination. "But without a megablast... How will we?"

Winger and Leyla had dove right into a fish feast. The trickling stream had so many different options. And they were all so delicious! After the glorious treatment of spectacular fish, they had time to explore their surroundings. They explored the coast first. The sand was pure white and really soft. The ocean a beautiful sapphire blue, and was filled with plenty soft water fish. Winger and Leyla were to full to care much. But hay, there's dinner! And there wasn't an eel in sight! There was also a small forest area with fruit bushes and trees. The grass was a perfect shade of green, the trees gave just enough shade. Leyla was looking up toward the sky when she tripped over Winger's tail. "Why would you trip me?" She asked him. "Sorry, that was an accident." He had said. Leyla knew it was an accident. But she continued to play around. "Oh, I think my legs are broken now! The pain! I cannot get up! Winger what have you done?" Leyla said ever dramatically. He smiled as he found out what she was doing. "Oh no! What should I do? How can I fix the pain I have caused you?" He played along. "There is... No way..." Leyla said as she pretended to die. "Noooo! Oh Leyla is dead! What have I done?" Winger acted. Leyla opened one eye and he looked at her at the same time. Then they just burst out laughing. "You will pay for what you did!" Leyla yelled as she pretended to resurrect as a zombie. She tackled Winger to the ground and they playfully wrestled in the grass for a few minutes. They stopped only when they were out of breath. Still panting, Winger and Leyla continued exploring the island without a care in the world. It was so nice here. So... Inviting. But something seemed off. "Winger, did you know there was an island this nice out here?" Leyla asked him. "No, honestly. But I'm glad we found it!" He said. "Yeah..." "What's wrong, Ley?" "Just that... Something doesn't feel right." She admitted. He glanced around. "Actually... I've been feeling the same thing." He said. "You have?" "Yup. But what do you think could be wrong?" Leyla thought for a minute. Then a cold hard realization struck her like a bat. "Winger... The perfect streams, grass, beach. It seems so inviting. That's why it's like that. To invite us here!" "Um... Ok?" "Winger don't you get it? Notice how the only living creatures are fish and bugs? That's because anything else was lured here and eaten!" Winger looked at her eyes wide with terror. "You're not suggesting..." Leyla nodded. "Winger, I think this is the dreaded Hyping Island!"

Hypno Island? "I've only hearts stories about that. Does it really exist?" Winger asked Leyla. "Maybe. If it does... This is it." She replied. He glanced around nervously. What if something was watching? "Then we should probably get out of here." He said. "But Winger! It's so nice here! Why would we ever want to leave?" Leyla cooed. "Um... Leyla?" Winger tried to get her attention. Something seemed to have entranced her. "I think we should just stay here! This could be our new home!" She swayed and rolled over onto her back. "The grass is so soft..." This wasn't good. "Leyla? Leyla! Snap out of it!" But she didn't. How could she have possibly just been hypnotized out of nowhere? Something flew over Winger's head. Winger jumped and stood guard. What was that? "Oh Winger! Did you make a new friend?" Leyla asked in her daze. Winger froze. There was breath on his neck. He turned around slowly and faced a large multicolored dragon. They were frozen to the spot. She just glared into winger's eyes. Then she shot forward and snapped, trying to get his face. Winger leaped back and ran toward Leyla. "Leyla! We have to leave NOW!" He pushed her toward the cave, still running. "Why? Can't we just stay a little longer?" She protested as Winger hurriedly made his way to the cave. He stopped for a minute and looked back. The multicolored dragon was gone. "Huh... That's strange." He said to himself. "It sure is." Said a voice above him. Winger jumped back and grabbing Leyla by the tail, he ran deeper into the cave. As Winger ran, he shouted at Leyla to snap out of her stopper. "Leyla? Leyla! Come on, Leyla. You've gotta snap out of it!" Winger waved his tail in front of her face to get her attention but it didn't work. He was beginning to grow panicky and desperate. What was he going to do now? Winger sighed in defeat and plopped himself down beside Leyla on the ground.

They had wound up on a completely different island. Who knows how far they were from home? "Leyla I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to get us lost!" Winger told her. "It's ok, Winger. I know you didn't mean to." Leyla reassured him. "Anyway, it doesn't matter how we got trapped in here. What we need to focus on now is getting out." She told Winger and he smiled warmly at her. "Hay, that's exactly what Summer said when we had gotten ourselves stuck in that cave." Leyla laughed and nodded at the memory of that experience. They then walked on in silence, trying to find any sign of shelter or food. They found nothing and it was becoming clear that they would have to stay here overnight. "I'm hungry." Winger told her. Leyla nodded in agreement she was also hungry, they hadn't eaten anything since this afternoon, and that was well over 3 hours ago. They had eventually made it out of the cave and onto an island of cursed shores, giant insects, and vultures that had attacked them, and now they were on some weird island that's really eery and unsettling. And, to top it all off, apparently Leyla had been hypnotized by something on the island because se couldn't remember what had happened to her. Where was she? How did she get here? Leyla took in her surroundings. She was on what appeared to be Hypno Island, but she couldn't quite tell for sure. But wait... Where was Winger? Is he alright? Cynder needed to find him! "Winger! Where are you?" Cynder began calling for the dragon that she had come to love. "I'm over here, Leyla!" Came Winger's voice from somewhere nearby her location. "Where are we?" Leyla franticly asked him. she wanted to know how to get off of this dreadful island. "We're in some sort of cave." Winger told her. She blinked and walked around the small cave. "What kind of cave?" Leyla asked him curiously. He frowned and shrugged his wings in response. "I'm honestly not sure what kind of cave we're trapped in." He replied back. Leyla sighed softly and took a seat beside him on the ground.
