Hello dear readers! Hope you've been great ^_^

Today is a BIG day, cause we celebrate the birthday of our beloved phoenix-prince, the captain of Bladebreakers, and master of Dranzer…..Kai Hiwatari! *Showers flowers on him* Stay blessed my Hiwatarian, and continue to be an inspiration forever! You've been more than a childhood crush to me, Kai. You were like the sun, burning himself so others could enlighten; you taught me to strive hard for attaining our goals; I've learnt to be persistent, and the never-give-up attitude from you. Thank you for everything! *Hearts* (And forgive me for being late as well :P)

To commemorate this day, Ellie-chan has come up with a few self-composed short-poems of her, combined with an even more short, story. That's literally not the best I could've done. This story is written in literally two-hours *That's insane* So…..yeah, nevermind! *Blame the busy life ;(*

Also, feeling very happy and proud, to introduce you to my first next-gen OC.

She is none other than the daughter of Kai and Eveline. Her name's Erica Hiwatari. (The name's kinda western, since her mum is a French) She inherits coffee brown hair and eyes from her mother, while she is a total feminine version of Kai Hiwatari himself. Yet, you'll find her adorable, and a sweet-little girlie, whenever she's around her dad! :)

On with the fic, hope you enjoy!

..Forever And Ever…..

The colors of Fall marked their arrival on mother nature. Aroma of crisp dried leaves, and slight cinnamon sweet essence, could be inhaled all over the region. Cottony-soft clouds sailed in the vast expanse of cerulean sky. As far as the eye could see, there were shades of orange, peach, yellow, red and brown. Dried leaves of maple, beech, and elm trees swayed with the gently blowing, yet slightly chill autumn air. The sun was peeping through the curtain of white vapory clouds, showering his majestic golden, warm rays mildly on the surface.

In the back garden of Hiwatari manor, the dual haired Russian was sitting, leaning against a maple tree. A medium sized book, with navy blue, velvet cover on it was in his hands. His expressions were softened, as he was busy reading. "Only you could write this nonsense about my eyes" he muttered, as if speaking with the book. The thing he read was this-

Lavender orbs, of the star tonight

Sparkle with zeal, as the flames ignite

Speechless, they gazed at the auroras in sight,

Moonlight burst their bubble of delight

It was written by his wife, Eveline, on his birthday, seven years ago from now. He wasn't the type to celebrate birthdays and all, but she had her ways of convincing him. Plus, it would be one of the last celebrations together. That's why, when she thrusted that book, precisely, her diary in his hands, with a huge grin, he knew she'd done something childish, or worth being memorable. And that's how, he came across the little collection of short poems, written by her.

Never apart, I'm one with you

Through roses and thorns, maybe out of the blue

The enchanter of my heart, do it all for you

Forever and ever, this assertion holds true.

This one made tears brim his eyes, though not a single droplet was shed. Kai had learned to handle it with the passage of all these years. Yet, nostalgia hit like a hard, rough, rock. On days like these, he just wanted his Eve, doing nothing, but being by his side.

Zirconias and amethysts will clash when we meet

Fade in the rhythm, rising to that beat

Melodies, that will resonate our soul

Still echo my heart, enriching as a whole

I'll be yours and you'll be mine

Darling, the sparks of amour define

Forever and ever, beyond the time…..

Forever and ever, beyond the time…..

Kai finished the last poem, and shut the diary. 'Forever and Ever…' he mused at that expression. It sounded so light and still, remarkably strong. His eyes lidded subconsciously, as he sat for a while, in complete oblivion and silence. Not long after that, a little six year-old girl came tiptoeing to that spot. Giggling to herself, she covered his eyes with her petite hands. "Guess who?" though just six, her voice was astonishingly clear, and loud, but carrying a touch of affection, the same.

Kai couldn't help but smile at this. Of course, he knew, it was his princess. "Is it Era?" he asked in a playful tone.

"Ah, you got me again." She pouted before exclaiming sadly. "Am I that obvious, really?"

He chortled. She did get the drama part from her mum. "Not at all, Era."

"I've made your birthday cake, as a tiny gift for you." She announced, rather proudly. "But, took some help from aunty Aria too." Whispering the last part, Erica sighed. She wanted to do everything all alone, but Aria couldn't let the child alone in the kitchen, right?

"That's so good to know. Thank you, Miss Hiwatari." He acknowledged. Kai was a doting father, knowing when to encourage his daughter, letting her learn as she grew. Plus, Erica loved when her father called her 'Miss Hiwatari'. It made her feel grown up after all.

"Happy birthday dad." She lovingly greeted him, as they walked inside.

And here goes my shortest fic till date! Due to some reasons, COV had to be halted, and I thought of this in a hurry. Basically, I was going to post the poems only, but since they were short, I figured out some explanation would be better. As a result, this short story just got written. How was it dear ppls? Especially the poems? Reviews are always appreciated!

To anyone who felt confused, this shot is a continuation (sort of) to my another shot, Aurora. I killed Eveline there, and so she wasn't here.

Once again, a very happy birthday to Kai!

Thank you for reading. Bye!

-Ellie :)
