High School Lovers

Chapter 1

Pov: So Julie and Luke go to the same charter school. But Luke, Reggie, and Alex are not ghosts, they are juniors in high school, and are famous celebrities! Julie is a freshman, and is an amazing singer, but won't show anyone until her friend uploads a viral video of Julie singing.

"Oh my god Flynn! We're finally in high school. Can you imagine all the new possibilities? I mean, I might finally get a boyfriend, I could let my music shine, which probably still won't happen. But still. What do you think you'll do?" Julie asked excitedly.

"Well, first of all, I'm going to try and get you and myself boyfriends. Maybe I'll get you a junior boy, and I'll get a band boy. Oh, or even a band boy. I'm definitely going to be getting into the music classes, I'll be a DJ. How you like me now?" She said.

As they drove to school, Flynn kept talking but Julie wasn't listening. She kept thinking about Nick. Oh Nick. Julie had had a crush on him since 6th grade. Flynn obviously knew, but she just thought it was still a silly crush. But It had grown. Once he had talked to her in 8th grade, he had broken up with one of her newer friends, Carrie, and he seemed to be around anyone near her. Maybe he had a crush on her. That thought kept flowing through her head. But she just kept telling herself that it probably wasn't true.

"Hello? Julie, are you seriously not listening?" Flynn waved her hand in front of Julie's face. "Hey, didn't you hear me? I was telling you about the cute celebs who are at our school. Remember those boys from fifth grade. They called themselves Sunset Curve. Remember that hottie Luke? Oh, and Alex? They were so cute. I would say the same for Reggie, but I found out that he's gay. It's okay though, I always kinda knew that he would turn out that way. I mean, I remember how his eyes always lit up when he saw Willie. I can't wait to see their faces when they see each other. It's gonna be so cute." She squealed.

"Oh, um, yeah. That'll be adorable." Julie said weakly. Before Nick had shown up, Luke had used to like her, and that just brought up bad memories. Like, one time, Alex had dared him to kiss her, and that didn't end well. Flynn saw, and punched both Alex and Luke in the noses. Julie thought that that had been their first broken nose. But she didn't know for sure.

"Oo, we're here. Look, we got here before the limo got here. We could stay outside and wait for it. I know that you don't really want to see Luke, but I want him to see you at least. I mean, the last thing he said to you was that he liked you." Flynn rubbed her best friend's shoulder. "Hey, we don't need to do this if you don't want to." Flynn knew that Luke brought up painful memories.

Almost two months before Luke, Alex, and Reggie left, Julie and finally started to like Luke. When she told him, he seemed so happy. They basically became besties. But the day that he was about to leave, Julie had found Luke and a random girl kissing behind the fence of the playground. It had broken her heart. But now he was coming back and Julie was getting really anxious.

They hurried and got out of the car, and Julie was starting to get really scared. Would Luke remember her? Would he be mad, nice, or what?

When they finally got up to the front of the school, Carrie ran up to them.

"Omg, I can't wait for the boys to get here!" She bounced up and down, her curls shaking. Flynn started trying to stop Carrie from talking. But she either didn't know what Flynn was doing or didn't care. "Flynn, what are you doing with your hands? It's kinda freaking me out." Julie turned to see Flynn waving and crossing her arms trying to stop Carrie.

"I just have some drama with Luke." Julie answered. "Flynn doesn't want me to be sad and stuff like that." Julie waved Flynn away. "Also speaking of the boys, look who's limo is pulling up."

They all got kinda stressed about how they looked. So many kids were used to being rich and famous, so not many people were outside to greet the boys.

"Yo Julie, pull your skirt up so then it rises really high, and makes it go up to the middle of your thighs. Oh, and flip your hair forward and back again so then it kind of curves and makes you look extra hot. Let's make Luke jelly." Carrie suggested.

Julie did as Carrie instructed and Flynn just looked at her up and down.

"Damn Julie," Flynn started. "You'll definitely make Luke Jelly.

Right then, the limo pulled up right in front of them. Julie's heart started racing. The door opened and the boys came out and looked like gods. The light was basically shining around them. First to come out was Reggie. Next was Alex, then last was Luke.

"Reggie!" Willie pushed through a group of guys.

"Oh my god, Willie?" Reggie asked.

Willie pulled Reggie into a hug and they just stood there for a moment.

"Awww, I told you it'd be super cute." Flynn said. She walked up to Willie and Reggie. "You guys are just as cute as you were in 5th grade you know."

"Well Flynn, I see that you still have your sense of humor and I'm happy you remember us." Reggie said.

"I'm just happy that you remember me. Your a fucking rock star." Flynn laughed.

"Hey beautiful girls." Alex put his arms around both Julie and Carrie. "So which one of you girls gets a kiss from the Alex" He pointed to himself. "Actually Julie, I'm gonna go over there with Carrie. I know someone wants to see you." They walked away to where Willie, Reggie, and Flynn were.

"Hey Julie." Luke walked up to her.

"Hey,"

"Um, I really missed you while I was away. Can we talk? Like about where we left off?" Luke asked.

""Oh, um of course…" Julie started to say, but Nick cut her off when he walked up from behind her.

"Damn Julie, You look hot." Nick said.

"Um Nick, I'm kinda in the middle of something here."

"Well that's ok." Nick turned to Luke. "Hey, nice to see you again Luke." He said with an evil smile. Something bad was definitely going to happen.
