It was a nice day and all of the Kids, even Angelica were playing in Min Jun's backyard.
"What do you guys want to do?" Min Jun asked.
The kids looked around the yard. Their gaze soon falling on Ji Yeon, who was sitting in the grass playing with her baby shark.
"Anything that doesn't involve listening to that song." Lil cried while covering her ears.
Phil looked down and picked up Min Jun's soccer ball.
"We can play soccer since we're getting kinda old to still play roll the ball." He suggested as he kicked the ball toward Min Jun.
"Good idea Phil." Tommy agreed and he and the other boys, minus Dil, who wasn't around due to having to go to the dentist that day went over to a corner of the yard where two goal nets were set up.
"I don't really feel like playing soccer." Lil said. She was at the age where playing with boys wasn't fun anymore.
Kimi nodded in agreement."What do you want to do then?"
Lil and Kimi looked around the yard trying to find something to do.
"We could play with Ji Yeon." Lil suggested as she looked over to where Ji Yeon sat in the grass near her mother playing with her baby shark.
Kimi thought for a second and was about to say yes when Ji Yeon squeezed the baby shark playing the song again.
"I think I'll play with Cleo." Kimi said walking over to the dog who was laying in the shade.
Lil followed Kimi and the two girls began a game of fetch with Cleo.
"I can't take anymore of that dumb song." Angelica growled marching over to Ji Yeon and snatching the yellow shark plush from her and throwing it over the fence where a small splash was heard.
Ji Yeon screamed and began sobbing prompting everyone to stop what they were doing and stare at her.
"What's wrong?" Mi Sun asked picking Ji Yeon up.
Ji Yeon didn't stop crying, but she did calm down when she saw Angelicas' Cynthia doll laying in the grass. She suddenly got an idea of how she could get revenge. She squirmed in Mi Sun's arms letting her know that she wanted down. Mi Sun put her down where she picked Cynthia up and began pulling her arms and legs off and throwing them as far as she could. Once the doll was in pieces, Ji Yeon crawled over to her mother. She was still upset, but didn't know what to do.
"I'm going to go make lunch." Mi Sun said picking Ji Yeon up.
"No sandwiches." Min Jun called as Mi Sun went inside.
"Your sister was really upset." Lil commented.
"She probably just needs a nap." Min Jun said.
"I thought she just waked up from one when we gotted here?" Phil asked.
Min Jun thought for a minute. "He's right. She did take her morning nap and she doesn't take another one until after snack time."
"Then what coulda maked her so upset?" Kimi asked.
Tommy walked over to where Ji Yeon had been playing and found Cynthia's head laying in the grass.
"Guys, you should see this." Tommy said holding up the doll head.
Seeing Cynthia's head without the rest of her body, Angelica let out a loud scream.
"What's wrong?" Mi Sun asked coming outside.
"Somebody broke my doll." Angwlica sobbeed.
"Find the rest of the pieces and I'll see what I can do." Mi Sun told her.
Mi Sun went back inside to finish getting lunch ready while the kids looked around for Cynthia's missing body parts.
"You owe me a new doll." Angelica snapped at Min Jun as he handed her one of Cynthia's arms.
"Why me?" Min Jun asked." I didn't break it."
"Well your sister did." Angelica cried.
"How do you know that?" Min Jun asked.
"Because I just do." Angelica snapped. She was the only one who coulda did it."
"How do you know you didn't step on her or something?" Tommy asked handing Angelica a leg.
"Cuz I didn't." Angelica snapped.
The kids found all of Cynthia's body parts and went inside for lunch.
"I said I don't want a sandwich." Min Jun complained when he sat down at the table and found plates of sandwiches.
"That's why I made you noodles." Mi Sun said setting a bowl of noodles in front of Min Jun.
Min Jun was about to take a bite, but stopped when he noticed how upset Ji Yeon was. She refused to eat her lunch. Min Jun wondered if Ji Yeon really had destroyed Cynthia and if she had why.
Min Jun quickly finished his lunch and went to the living room where Ji Yeon was laying on a blanket.
"Did you break Angelica's doll?" He asked sitting down on the blanket.
Ji Yeon nodded and sniffled.
"Why would you do that?"Min Jun asked.
"Cuz she threw my baby shark over the fence." Ji Yeon explained as she started to cry once more.
For a brief moment Min Jun was happy about the toy being gone, but seeing his sister so upset made him sad. He knew if he had lost his favorite toy he would be just as upset.
"Don't worry. I'll get your toy back even if it is the most annoying thing in the world. Just keep mommy stracted til we get back." Min Jun said.
"Did Ji Yeon really break Cynthia?" Lil asked once all the kids were back outside, minus Angelica, who was inside with Mi Sun while she fixed Cynthia.
"Yeah she did, but only cuz Angelica threw her baby shark over the fence." Min Jun explained."We have to get it back."
"You sure you want that thing back?" Phil asked.
"I know we're all sick of the dumb song, but it makes Ji Yeon happy." Min Jun said.
"Well let's go get that shark back." Tommy declared. He knew if Dil's Goober doll got thrown over a fence he would get it back even though he hated that gopher with a passion.
"We can't all go." Min Jun said stopping at the edge of the fence."My mommy can't see a empty yard. I hope Ji Yeon can start her long enough for us to get this done."
Back inside Mi Sun had finished putting Cynthia back together. Ji Yeon saw the other kids standing near the fence. She took this opportunity to put operation distract her mother into action.
As Angelica went back outside, ji Yeon crawled toward Cleo's bowls and began playing in the dog food and water. She knew she had to be quick, so she grabbed two handfulls of dog food and smeared her all over herself. She then spilled the water bowl getting Mi Sun's attention.
"You can't play in the dog food." Mi Sun said picking Ji Yeon up. She grabbed a towel and placed it over the puddle of water.
Ji Yeon smiled despite the yucky dog food smell all over her as she was carried into the bathroom and undressed. She held onto the edge of the tub and watched as the bubbles rose higher and higher.
Ji Yeon squealed in delight as Mi Sun placed her in the tub. She reached into the pile of bubbles flinging them in all directions.
Back outside the kids were trying to find a way to get into the next yard.
"How do we get over there?" Lil asked as she Phil and Min Jun stood near the fence while Chuckie, Kimi, and Tommy volunteered to stay behind.
"What are you dummies doing?" Angelica asked crossing her arms.
"We're trying to get into the next yard coz you threw Ji Yeon's baby shark toy over the fence."Min Jun stated.
"I did you all a favor." Angelica smirked.
"No. You made things a whole lot worser." Min Jun yelled."Because of you she's gonna cry forever and ever and that's more annoying then the dumb song."
"So. The only ones who will have to listen to her cry are you guys." Angelica taunted.
"You live next to us so you'll hear it too when she's outside."Min Jun warned her.
"You remember what Dil was like as a baby, so if you don't want a repeat of that you should probly go get the shark." Tommy advised her.
Angelica sighed as she realized Tommy was right. She unlatched the gate and went into the next yard.
Angelica sighed in relief when she didn't see any dogs around. She was also greatful to be able to walk into the next yard rather then trying to go through the fence. She didn't want to get stuck in a fence ever again.
She soon spied the yellow shark floating in the kiddy pool. She reached for it only to slip on a pool toy and fall face first into the pool.
"Here's your sister's. Dumb toy back." Angelica snarled as she entered the yard soaking wet. She threw the soggy toy at Min Jun's feet and stomped inside to dry off.
Min Jun took the toy and went inside. The other kids followed him. He went to the bathroom where he heard Ji Yeon crying. He peeked in and saw her seated on the floor wrapped in a pink towel. She stopped crying and smiled when she saw him.
"I thought I didn't stract mommy long enough." Ji Yeon sighed in relief hugging her baby shark close. She pulled it away and began crying once more when the song didn't play.
"My baby shark is broked." Ji Yeon sobbed.
"I think its time for a nap." Mi Sun said picking Ji Yeon up and taking her to her room to get dressed.
"She's sadder then ever." Min Jun sighed as he slumped down on the couch dropping the shark on the floor.
"We can sing the song for her." Kimi suggested.
"We can try when she wakes up from her nap." Min Jun told them. He hoped it would work.
He was surprised when his mother walked in with Ji Yeon on her back.
"You would feel so much better if you sleep." Mi Sun to Ji Yeon as she sat down on the couch to fold laundry.
"Um mommy?" Min Jun asked nervously. He was afraid that he would be blamed for breaking the toy.
"Yes." Mi Sun said looking over at Min Jun who sat on the floor holding the soggy toy.
"Can you fix this?" Min Jun asked getting up and bringing the toy over.
"I can try." Mi Sun sighed as she looked the toy over. Ji Yeon stopped crying as her mother went to the kitchen. She watched as she took out the battery pack that made the shark sing and put it in a baggie of rice. She then put the toy in the washing machine.
"How did the toy get broken?" Mi Sun asked the kids when she returned to the living room.
The kids all looked to Angelica who gulped.
Angelica couldn't take the stares anymore and yelled."Fine it was me. I threw the toy in the pool and it got broke, but I couldn't listen to that dumb song anymore."
"I'm glad you told the truth, but if you have a problem with something you should've come to me." Mi Sun explained."I hope I can fix it."
"I'm sorry." Angelica apologized. She did feel slightly bad for breaking Ji Yeon's toy and seeing the sad look on the baby's face only made her feel more guilty.
A little while later Drew and Didi arrived to pick up the kids.
Mi Sun filled them in on what Angelica had done.
"I tried, but I wasn't able to fix the toy." Mi Sun told them.
"We'll go to the store right now and replace it."Drew insisted.
Drew and Angelica returned later on in the day with a replacement babyy shark, along with a smaller one that could fit easily into Ji Yeon's hand, and some bath toys that played the song as well.
