The final year for Apple and her friends was starting at Ever After High as the students returned to school from their summer vacation.
"Apple," said Briar as the two girls ran to each other to give the other a hug as they met at the front entrance to the school.
"It's been too long," she said while pulling out of the hug. At the same time, servants were pulling some luggage out of their respective limos and taking them to their dorm rooms, the limos leaving to allow others out in the meantime.
"Sorry that we didn't hang out during the summer, my mother had me doing some special classes the entire time," said Apple.
"Don't worry about it, I was also busy all summer planning new parties for this year; but back to the here and now, I bet Raven is back in your room getting things set up on her half, right?" asked Briar.
"Actually she's not arrived yet, and I've been here for a few hours now," said Apple.
"You don't think she decided not to come back for the last year, do you?" asked Briar. Before another word could be said, a limo pulled up with the flags of Camelot flying on the front and back bumpers.
"Whoa, someone from Camelot is starting school at Ever After High this year?" asked a surprised Briar.
"Actually, she's always been a student of Ever After High, but she had to hide until now because of her family issues," said Headmaster Grimm as he walked up to them with a smile. The car then stopped right in front of the three of them.
"We have arrived, princess," said a knight as he opened the door from the inside while stepping out to allow the other person out.
"How many times have I told you not to call me that?" asked Raven Queen as she stepped out with blond highlights in her hair and her right eye had turned blue.
"Sorry, it's fun to tease you sometimes, Raven," said the knight with a smile and chuckle before hugging the girl.
"Tell dad and the others that I made it and that I say hi, Galahad," said Raven with a smile.
"I'll let them know, Princess Pendragon," said Galahad before getting back in the car and leaving. Raven then turned to face Apple and Briar whose jaws were hanging open out of shock along with everyone else who had been watching.
"Surprise," said Raven with a nervous smile.
