INTRODUCING MYSELF TO THE FLOCK
Xavian on top of the house, watching Fang and Max talking. It was not their time to date yet, but he could push that. He checked his watch. Almost time for his appearance. He has staged it so the whole flock could see, but not be dangerous.
I teleported to the sky and sliced one of my wings. Since I feel no pain, this was all reward. I jumped down. I've never flown with a cut-up wing before, I always heal it but WOW it's hard.
I crashed down much faster than I wanted to. Then, using my best hurt tone, I looked up at Fang and Max, who were staring in awe at my wings. I muttered
"Fuck." Before pretending to faint.
I had to say, that went better than I expected. I thought that they would be distrusting but NOPE! Brought me straight to Anne. Ah yes, Anne. The traitor. I couldn't reveal that, that would fuck things up. I waited until it was 5 hours, and then I "Woke up"
"OH GOD WHERE AM I" I looked to see the faces of the flock. Acting quick, pretending to be threatened I drew my swords and got in a defensive stance.
"Kid. Chill out. We're like you" they unfurled their wings. I gasped. It was a real one. They should not trust people that quickly!
I sheath my swords. "Who are you, people.. What do you want, and for fucks sake, what year is it?" Now, why am I asking what years is it? Well, I can always lie and say I'm a super experiment from the future. Is it lying? Not really. I exist at all times. So not lying.
"We are the Flock. Our names are Krystal, Max, Nick, Jeff, Ariel, and Zephir. It's 2010."
"Crap crap," I say running my hands through my hair. I left my head to look at them and say
"That's not true. It's Gazzy, Iggy, Fang, Max. Nudge and Angle." They look at me, their faces showing fear.
"I am from the year 3000. I can see the future, feel emotions, have power over light and a bunch of other stuff." they look at me.
"I'm not lying. I know your names, and I know about the school. Itex. How Fang kissed Max but she ran away because she thinks Fang was messing with her. How they love each other but are too hardheaded to admit it. How Ella is going to crush on Iggy. How Max is oblivious to her feelings. How-" I stop talking, releasing what I've said.
I snap my finger, using my mind power to make them believe what I said. I also amplify Max and Fang's emotions, because why not?
"I Might have said too much" Max and Fang's face turns red, and the flock stares at them in shock. I clear my thought.
"Well, uhm I'll just be going then" I walk away, but Fang puts a hand on my shoulder.
"No, I'm not fucking with you. Yes. Max loves you. No, this is not a prank. Yes. I am reading your mind to answer your questions before you ask them. Thank you, I am amazing."
He stares at me, shocked. I also see a hint of his being… Afraid. I walk out the door, spreading my wings.
"I'll be off then! I'll probably come by to help later! I'm off!" I snapped my fingers to "Trelport" But I just became a light ghost. Yea, yea not Channon superpower me existing defies cannon. So shut it.
I see Max stare at Fang, trying to gauge his emotions. The flock, being smart know to back out. They stare at each other until Fang makes his move. I can sense Max wanting to run away, but with a flick of the wrist, I amplify her "Fax" emotions.
Fang begins "Max, I love you. I've loved you for so long. I would never hurt you" he tilts her chin. Forcing her to look at him. Then something happens that even I, the great Xavian did not expect. Max kisses Fang. HUH! It's usually the other way around. Fand just -MELTS- as Maxes touch.
I have to say, this ended better than I hoped. Let's take a peek into his mind, shall we?
FANG P.O.V
(Rewind to when Xavian was talking)
"I'm not lying. I know your names, and I know about the school. Itex. How Fang kissed Max at the cave but she ran away because she thinks Fang was messing with her. How they love each other but are too hardheaded to admit it. How Ella is going to crush on Iggy. How Max is oblivious to her feelings. How-" He stops talking as if releasing what he's said. The thing? I believe him, I don't know why, but I believe him. He leaves, and I turn to Max. I stare at her, trying to see her emotions.
"Max, I love you. I've loved you for so long. I would never hurt you" I tilt her chin, forcing her beautiful brown eyes to look at me. She then kisses me. God. It's so sweet, so intoxicating. I'm already addicted. Then, slowly, regretfully she pulls away.
"That's good. Because I love you too" At that moment, I felt complete. I knew that I would always have Max. And she would always have me.
