It was a busy day in the life of Bulma Briefs. She made all of her appointments, except for the last one. As she looked at her watch, Bulma noticed she was running almost thirty minutes late. I could still make it! I'm sure she can still squeeze me in! Bulma thought as she quickly made a U-turn on a busy road, knowing a quicker route.

Pressing a button on her steering wheel, Bulma started speaking to her radio. "Text El: . I am only a few minutes away! I hope you still have time."

The Bluenette drove as quickly as possible, until she could see her destination on the horizon. A smile arose on her face as she heard a beeping noise.

"New Message from El: See you soon! I always make time for you Bulma :)" A rush of relief hit the Capsule Corp. C.E.O. With a busy life like hers, she was grateful to those that were accommodating.

After Whis and Beerus entered their lives, Bulma started seeing a massage therapist to help her relax.. Her life has always been extremely hectic, but after the addition of the two Deities, Bulma's life took on a new meaning of hectic and stressful. Taking time out of her day to unwind helped keep her at her fullest. With two half Saiyan's at home, Bulma needed as much strength as possible.

Speaking of Saiyan's, Bulma thought to herself. I wonder when Goku and Vegeta are getting back from Whis and Beerus' planet?

Bulma pulled into the drive, happy to see she was the only one here. As she quickly made her way up the steps, the millionaire noted the comforting vibe that radiated from the building. A small two story house had been converted into a thriving business.

Bulma knew it was almost impossible to book an appointment with El. The woman was sought after for many of her different abilities. Among giving great massages, she also teaches yoga, chakra alignment, and many other services dealing with finding your inner peace.

After knowing El for nearly a year, Bulma feels the two have gotten rather close. Their weekly appointments would be filled with the latest goings on at Capsule Corp, and of course about her children Trunks and Bulla.

The bluenette rarely mentioned her husband, as many find him hard to get along with. Bulma found that when she would tell stories of Vegeta, many women wonder how she would be with someone so aggressive and angry. It was hard to explain to them her husband's personality, the one she's grown to love.

A small bell rang as Bulma entered the home. "El, It's me!"

"Come right on back! I've got the room ready for you." A soft voice came from the back of the house. As you walk in, the hardwood floors and open space remind you more of a yoga studio than a home. Walking to the back bedroom, Bulma noticed the lights dimmed, and the sound of running water. Smiling, the blunette began to take off her jacket.

Bulma closed the door behind her, getting comfortable in the robe that was provided. Laying down on the table, she closes her eyes for a moment. This allowed her body to relax and take in the sounds around her. She could hear footsteps coming closer.

"Good evening." Ellery smiled as she entered the room. "I'm glad to see you still made our appointment."

"I'm just happy you still agreed to see me. This has become something I look forward to!" Bulma says happily.

"Of course, how could I say no?" Ellery quietly walks across the room to a small table with bottles and candles. "You're always a delight to talk to. How is baby Bulla?"

"She is just wonderful." Bulma stated happily. "Bulla is just the sweetest little girl. Complete opposite of her brother. It's a good thing he has a friend that comes over a lot. I don't think the boy ever runs out of energy."

Ellery chuckled. "Boys usually are a handful." She said before she took down the top part of Bulma's robe, putting some oil in her hands before she began to massage her shoulders. "And now you've got a little girl to keep your hands full? Let's hope you have someone else to help you out!"

Now it was Bulma's turn to laugh. "I do have a husband, but I'm not sure how much help he is in raising the kids."

"Oh? Why's that?"

Bulma lay there for a moment, getting her thoughts together. "Vegeta is a little different."

"Different how?" Ellery asked curiously. Massaging the blue haired woman's shoulders, Ellery's thumbs dug into her skin at just the right amount of pressure, causing a wave of energy to course through Bulma.

Bulma contemplated with herself for a few moments. There were few people the millionaire got close to for many reasons. However, she felt like Ellery was someone she could trust. "My husband is a martial artist. The only real thing that concerns him is getting stronger and becoming the greatest warrior in the Universe." Bulma chuckled slightly, knowing it sounded ridiculous. "We have been together for a long time. I met him through my best friend, Goku."

"The guy you met when you were sixteen?" Ellery questioned.

"Yea! That's the guy." Bulma smiled, happy to see she had been listening. "Our story is a complicated one, our relationship started out very passionate and intense. Our little group has been through a lot together."

"You sound like you have so many stories in that noggin of yours." Ellery states as she smiles. Her fingers began to move up the back of Bulma's neck, massaging as she went. "It sounds like you have a very exciting life. I would love to be in its presence even for a day."

Bulma sighs as her eyes close involuntarily. Her body turned into putty. "It can be hectic sometimes. But I love my life."

"I can feel a lot of love inside your soul." Ellery states as she smiles. "It's warm and inviting. Such a nice energy to have around."

The two women stayed in silence for the rest of the session. Mainly because the last knot being undone in Bulma's neck caused her to fall asleep. It was common with many of Ellery's patients. Several emotions can be extracted from the body in a well performed massage.

After thirty more minutes, Ellery removes her hands. "This concludes our session, Bulma. I'll leave you to dress" She states quietly as she leaves the room.

Slowly opening her eyes, Bulma sits up from the table, feeling like an entirely new woman. That girl has to have magic fingers. The bluenette thought to herself as she put her clothes back on.

As Bulma exited the room, she noticed Ellery had gone to the small Kitchen on the other side of the room. The smell of tea in the air, the ebony haired woman turned to face Bulma. "Would you like some tea before you head out?"

"How about we skip the tea." The Bluenette smiled. "Instead, you pack a weekend bag and come spend it with me!"

This surprised Ellery. It wasn't like someone to invite her to places. "Are you sure? I don't want to be a burden."

"Nonsense!" Bulma exclaims. "Vegeta is out of town for the foreseeable future, and I would love to have a girls weekend! It sounds fun, right? Besides, I know you don't work weekends. This will give you time to get out of your own space."

Ellery was a little shocked at how laid back Bulma seemed, normally, she was more reserved. It was her lightheartedness however, the young girl loved about her. Dumping the hot water from the kettle, Ellery smiles. "What the heck, I've never had a girls weekend, this will be fun! I'll get packed and we can head out."

Bulma's eyes widened as she watched the young woman walk away. The bluenette was surprised Ellery had never been on a girl's weekend. Although she seemed to keep to herself, she knew a lot of girls through her yoga classes.

It took Ellery no time at all to gather a bag full of essentials. Once the girls were settled in the car, Bulma wasted no time in taking them back to her house. When Ellery took a look at the bluenette's house, she was taken aback by how large it was. "Wow… This is enormous."

Bulma laughs as he pulls into the small parking garage. "It is pretty big. The property covers nearly three city blocks. All of the science labs for Capsule Corp. are housed here as well, so It's like my home and office built in one."

It was a lot for Ellery to take in. "You are one interesting woman, Bulma Briefs." She says with a smile on her face.

"You haven't even seen anything interesting, El. Spend enough time with me and you'll see my life is just complete chaos at times." Bulma says with a lighthearted laugh.

The two make their way into Bulma's home, where they're greeted by a purple haired boy and a little one with spiked black hair.

"Mom, Goten and I were about to go play at his house, is that okay? Chi-Chi is home to watch us." Trunks pleads with his mother. Although the boys had all the toys they could imagine at their fingertips, it never beat a good training session on Mt. Paozu.

"Sure! You two boys have fun!" Bulma smiles, happy to have a little peace. "Before you leave boys, this is my new friend, El." Bulma says before gesturing to Ellery behind her.

"Is that your real name?" Trunks asked quizzically. "Or is that a nickname?"

Taken slightly aback, Ellery looked at the purple haired child. "I don't go by my real name. Too many people associated it with food. So I just go by El."

"Oh?" Trunks was even more curious now. "Well, I've heard some pretty weird names. Gimme your best shot."

Ellery smiled at the boy's assertiveness. He was much like his mother in this way. "Ellery is my real name."

Trunks smiled. "See? That wasn't so bad El." Trunks states before he taps Goten on the shoulder. "Come on! Let's go before it gets too dark to see the fish!"

"Okay Trunks!" Goten agreed before the two boys took off.

Bulma shook her head, appearing from the other room with two glasses of wine "Sorry about the boys, they really are a handful. I'm glad my parents decided to take Bulla with them on their little Vacation, I've needed a break around the house."

Ellery chuckled, "They are definitely persistent." She states before taking one of the glasses from Bulma. "Who is the other little boy?"

"Oh, that's Goten. He is the son of my friend, Goku." Bulma says before taking a sip. "The two of them have been attached at the hip for as long as I can remember. Although their father's don't get along very well, the two of them are inseparable."

"Why don't they seem to get along?" Ellery asked curiously.

Bulma thought for a long moment. She wished she knew the answer to that question herself. After all these years, the two Saiyan's have become close. However, no one in their right mind would call them friends, except for Goku. "I wish I had an answer." Bulma says with a smile. "Their relationship is complicated."

"In what way?" Ellery was only growing more confused. "I feel like you need to tell me your life story just to understand."

Bulma laughed happily. "You're probably right. It would take all weekend just to tell you half the adventures our little family has been on."

"I want to know everything." Ellery states, a bright smile on her face. "Tell me about Bulma."

The two women stayed in the kitchen most of the night, talking of adventures in Bulma's past. There were a couple empty wine bottles and one that was on it's way to join the others. All the while, Ellery was taking in every word from this interesting woman. In hear several decades of life, Bulma had been through more things than Ellery thought a human could endure. Before her, sat one of the most influential people of their time. Ellery was so grateful she met her.

As three o'clock rolled around, Bulma had already been through every story she could think of. Other than the most recent ones regarding Lord Beeurs, Bulma told Ellery nearly everything about her. Looking at the clock, the bluenette giggles in her drunken stupor. "I can't believe it's this late… I talked for nearly six hours."

"I can't believe the amazing life you have." Ellery says with a smile. It made the young girl yearn for an interesting life of her own. She had always been taught to lead a simple and peaceful life. "It makes mine sound boring and mundane."

"Don't think that way." Bulma says with a smile. "Lives can be simple and still have a lot of meaning."

"I know, but." Ellery paused.. "You've traveled the world, and even the Universe. Meeting tons of different creatures and interacting with them, it's so cool. I just think I could use some excitement. I mean, I've never even been on a date."

Bulma was silent for a moment before she burst out in a fit of giggles. "At least you're not married and never been kissed."

"Come again?" Ellery looked at her friend like she had lost her mind. "Of all the things you've said this evening, this has to be the… most odd."

"I'm sorry." Bulma says between giggles. "I just remembered something my husband told me. My friend, Goku, saw a couple kissing. He had never seen two humans put their lips together. And this man is married…. He has TWO CHILDREN!" Bulma burst into guffaws, bending over the table and resting her head on the marble countertop.

Ellery's mouth dropped, unable to comprehend what she was hearing. "But...how…"

"I DON'T KNOW!" Bulma screamed as she continued to laugh.

Ellery began to laugh at how funny Bulma thought the whole situation was. I guess if you've known a person for that long, it would be pretty hilarious. It only left Ellery with countless questions on this man that was Bulma's best friend.

Once Bulma had calmed her laughter down to a few chuckles, she looked at her new friend. "So what about you? Tell me about Ellery."

The young girl was a little taken aback. It always made her nervous to talk about herself. But with all the things Bulma told her, it was her turn to do some sharing.. "I grew up in a Monastery outside of South City." Ellery stated as she looked down at her newly filled drink.

"It was there that I learned about Chakras and Energies. I lived there until I was about twelve years old. It was then the Monastery was destroyed in a freak accident." a look of sadness crossed the young girl's face. "With all of the destruction, there was almost nothing left of my home. From there, I was taken in by one of my teacher's."

"He taught me many secrets to his craft, and after his passing, gave me his home to start my own studio. I've been following in his footsteps ever since." Ellery had a glow to her face as he began remembering the old house. "I rebuilt the house into what it is today. Before, it was pretty old fashioned, shag carpet and barely any windows." Ellery's laugh was light as she remembered tearing up that dingy floor.

"After the remodel, I did a little bit of advertising. Many of his older clients had children, mostly daughters. Many of them were looking for a group to do yoga with. That's how this place started! And over the years, it's grown into where I may need to find someone to teach some classes for me.

"I have a lot of people coming to me to find their inner peace."

Looking at the young woman, Bulma could see small signs of age in her as the saddened look appeared once again. "It sounds like you have been through a lot of your own battles." Bulma reaches across the table to hold her hand. "I am grateful that someone as strong as you has found their way into my life." She says with a smile.

"Have you interviewed anyone for the position?"

"I've been so busy, I honestly haven't had the time." Ellery admitted. "My days are filled with classes. When I'm not in class I'm trying to cake care of myself and the house."

"I might have someone that could help." Bulma says with a smile. "My hiring manager can find any person for any job. She's fantastic."

"You'd do that for me?"

"Of course!" Bulma beamed at her friend across the table. "You're my friend after all."

"It's getting late." Ellery says with a smile as she squeezed Bulma's hand. "We can continue this talk in the morning, I'll make breakfast."

The sun peeked inside the french doors of Bulma's room. Even with the curtains drawn, the small rays managed to sneak through them. Ellery squinted her eyes as she sat up. She looked over and noticed Bulma wasn't in the room. The night before the two girls had shared Bulma's bed at her insistence.

Ellery made herway down the hall and to the kitchen. She noticed Bulma had started a pot of coffee. "You are my hero." the young girl said as she stepped into the kitchen.

Bulma chuckled as she grabbed an extra mug from the cabinet. "Good morning. I know you said you'd make breakfast, but I thought it'd be better If we did stuff my way this weekend."

As Bulma finished her sentence, three small figures rushed into the room with plates of waffles, fruit, and other various breakfast items.

"Wow." Was all Ellery could say. As a huge plate was placed in front of her, she couldn't help but devour it. The food smelled delicious.

It didn't take long for the two women to finish off the breakfast that was prepared for them. After their late night, all the delicious food was the perfect cure for their sluggishness. As Bulma stretched, she looked toward her friend. "So, what is the plan for today?"

"I'm up for just about anything." Ellery says with a smile.

Suddenly, the air around the dining room changed. Across the room, two figures appeared out of nowhere. It took everything in Ellery not to scream. As she looked at the two men that joined them, the first thing she noticed about them was their intense energies. It made the room feel heavy.

Both men had black hair. One was wearing a bright orange uniform, his hair looking as crazy as the child Ellery saw with Trunks yesterday. The young woman looked at the man and guessed this was Bulma's best friend Goku. The other was in some sort of battle armor, a widow's peak adorned this man's hair, he was nearly a head shorter than the other man standing next to him. .

Ellery looked up to lock eyes with the man in orange. The intensity of his stare left her almost in a trance. His alluring energy nearly pulled her straight towards him. Never before had the young woman felt something like this. Gripping the counter. Ellery plants herself in her seat.

It was then the young woman noticed the scent lingering in the air. Although the men were filthy, each carried their own distinct scent. One was sweet, like fresh rain in the forest, sandalwood, and cashmere. It cleared Ellery's senses, but then only seemed to intensify her feelings.

"Who is this woman, Bulma?" Says the shorter of the males. His shortness in tone made Ellery think this was Bulma's husband.

"Well look who decided to come home from their training binge." Bulma says with an eye roll. "Vegeta, this is my friend Ellery. Ellery, this is my husband Vegeta.."

"Tch." Vegeta scoffs before leaving the room. This left Goku in the room with Bulma and her new friend.

"Sorry about him." Bulma apologizes. "That's how he greets people. He's a little rough around the edges" As Bulma looked, she noticed Goku seemed frozen in place. It wasn't like him to be quiet for this long.

"Oh I almost forgot." Bulma chimed in. "Ellery, this is my childhood friend."

"Kakarot." Goku blurted out. "My name is Kakarot." he states before his two fingers go to his forehead once again, causing him to disappear out of sight.
