Sasuke fingered the ring in his pocket, today was the day he was going to do it. They had been dating for 4 years now, she was the one and only and Sasuke was going to finally tie the knot with his childhood friend and soulmate.

They were currently on a trip to Vegas, which they both had happy memories of as the place where they first got together during a college trip. He had decided they were going to have a court marriage if Sakura was okay with it, instead of a huge wedding since he didn't really have anyone from his side of the family to invite nor did he have any friends that were not the mutual ones with Sakura.

He took her to a fancy dinner in a expensive restaurant and then on a walk down a romantic scene, then he popped the question and she agreed. They had a happy night together and decided to go get married the next day.

On the next day, they entered the court and went through all the procedures before they had to speak with the person who was going to marry them.

"Uchiha Sasuke. Haruno Sakura."

"Yes, that's us." Sakura enthusiastically said.

"I can't marry you."

"What? Why?

"Well it seems in my registry that you two are already married. I can't marry people who are already married."

Ok, Sasuke was getting a head ache now, how could they already be married?

"Hn. When did we get married then?"

"8th July 2017"

"What? we hadn't even started dating then? We were still in college. You must have the wrong people."

The man hit some keys on his computer and turned his laptop to face them.

"This is your marriage certificate. Is this your signature or not? This is your photos."

Sasuke and Sakura looked at the form on the laptop, the signatures were no doubt theirs and also were accompanied by their 'marriage day' photos in which they looked absolutely drunk.

Sasuke looked at Sakura and gulped. They had a Vegas marriage! They got drunk and married each other before they even had their first date. God his parents must have been spinning in their graves right now, he can picture Naruto's laugh already.

*FLASHBACK*

Sasuke downed another glass of whiskey, the fake ids that Naruto got them worked like a charm. But as with any person having their first time drinking, Sasuke realised that he was an incredible lightweight and after a drinking challenge with Naruto, he was absolutely smashed. He noticed Sakura sitting at another side of the bar with her friend Ino and she looked completely drunk too.

He was going to confess his feelings to her, he felt super confident with the alcohol in his body and he made his way over to her. He saw another guy from his class hit on her and he put a hand on his shoulder and turned him around to face him.

"S-she's taken buddy." Sasuke managed to slur out.

The guy went away spurting some obscenities but Sasuke paid him no mind. He turned to Sakura and pinned her in his stare.

"You. I like you. I like you since High School."

Sakura smiled, looking like a maniac in the process and hugged him dramatically, making them both almost loose balance and fall.

"I have had a crush on you since I saw you. Let's get married Sasuke-kun."

Sasuke raised his eyebrows at her suggestion.

"Married?"

"I like you, you like me, people who like each other should get married!"

In Sasuke's drunk mind, nothing had made more sense before. It was simple logic.

"Then lets go! We will get married in the court."

"Yaaaaaayyyyyyy!"

Sasuke woke up with the worst head ache he'd ever had and Sakura sleeping on the bed next to him. He frantically checked himself and realised he was still fully clothed meaning they hadn't done anything.

Sakura woke up some seconds later.

"S-Sasuke-kun?"

"Sakura. We seem to have had a good night out yesterday." Sasuke said sarcastically.

"Evidently." Sakura retorted.

Sasuke looked at Sakura's face and made up his mind that it was now or never.

"Hey, you want to get breakfast of something?"

"Like t-together? S-sure."

Sasuke and Sakura exited Sasuke's hotel room, leaving behind the marriage certificate that was tucked behind the bed.
