"It was good seeing family." A young fifteen-year-old female trainer murmured, having woken up from her long airboat flight from Kalos back to Sinnoh. "Seeing Grandma and Grampa, along with Furfrou, was so great after not seeing them for six years."

She took out her phone, checking on the time: 5:19pm. Placing it back into her left dress pocket, she ghostly passed her hand on the right one, slightly nudging her six pokeballs, giving them a gentle pat, telling her dear friends and team that they had made it back home. She turned her eyes to the window, gazing outside into the sea and catching glimpses of Chocovine Town.

"Attention, dear passengers. We are about to land in Chocovine Town. Please return to your seats and fasten your seat belts. We will begin descending in four minutes. Thank you."

The girl rested her head on the small wall beside the window. She gazed down at the shimmering blue sea, noticing hoards of Lumineons, Mantakes, Horseas, and even a shiny Gyarados swimming by on the surface. They all swam at leisurely, some jumping out, or deciding to dive back down into their underwater world. She brushed away a small white hair from her face, her black eyes drifting to the city where the upcoming Contest Hall was going to take place.

In her mind, she thought, "This will be the eight Pokemon Contest I will join. I already won three Contest Ribbons, so I'm looking forward to winning my fourth." She smiled, recalling her three victories. "After the contest, win or lose, I should head to..." The young trainer took out her phone once again, looking for a map. She could see the entirety of Sinnoh, her birth region, and zoomed into her pinpoint location. "I am currently southeast, and the closest Gym is…" She swiped her screen, attentively looking at the map. Snowpoint City. "So that's the nearest Gym." She tapped the city, saved the location, exited it, and went to her messages, noting a couple just popped up.

-My sweet girl, Eden, please call me when you have landed at Chocovine Town.

-Your father and I will be watching and rooting for you in your contest battle.

-Did you hear? Noah won his fifth Gym Badge against Fantina. He said that he'll take some time to continue training his pokemon before going for this sixth Gym Badge.

-Hope the both of you meet up at some point in your journeys. Also, please send a hi to Vivillon for me.

-Love you! ;)

"Noah won his fifth Gym Badge, huh…" She placed her phone back, the airboat landing and nearing the docks.

Noah was Eden's younger brother by two years. They were nearly identical, both having white hair, except that he had inherited their father's eyes, while she got her mother's. Eden had started her adventure at the age of ten, like all the Pokemon Trainers in the world, and took it slow. Chimchar was the pokemon she had chosen to be her partner during her journey from Professor Rowan, sticking together, and actually starting with two pokemon on her team. Vivillon was her mother's special pokemon from Kalos, her birth region, who had saved her when a hoard of Inkay attacked her when she was making her way to her first ever job, having long decided that becoming a Pokemon Trainer was not something she wanted to pursue. Since then, they stuck together, to her meeting her now husband and father of her children. When Eden decided to pursue the life of a trainer, her mother entrusted Vivillon to accompany her daughter on her journey. In contrast, when her brother came of age, he chose Turtwig. Noah had admitted he was a bit jealous of her older sister for having been gifted a special pokemon from their mother, but moved on in a relatively small amount of time, having no hard feelings. Additionally, it made sense to her that her brother was traveling much faster around Sinnoh and winning his gym battles for he had firmly decided from the start to solely focus on Gym Battles, while she didn't know what exactly to pursue. There was a clear desire of beating the Elite Four so she could challenge the reigning Champion, Cynthia, who had beaten all the trainers who had earned the right to fight for the title of Champion. She tried Pokemon Contests, and liked it even though she lost. Ultimately, she decided to do both. It would be long, but would be doing two things she liked.

"Attention dear passengers. We have arrived in Chocovine Town. Upon exiting, please remember to take all your luggage and items with you. We thank you for flying with us."

Eden stood up from her seat and stretched her body out, making sure to not accidentally hit any people making down the aisle. Once the coast was clear, she brought down her medium size luggage and her bag, she followed the rest. Upon the exit, she thanked the pilot and stewards, wishing them luck on their next flight. The sun shined bright, red-orange-yellow rays forming on the horizon, signifying that night was coming.

"I should find a place to stay." Rolling her luggage, she wandered the town, looking for a good place to stay for the days she was there. She found some small inns, but they were a little out of the price range. Eden couldn't help but sigh. "I guess we are staying in the Pokemon Center." Not that she was complaining, it was her fault she was low on money. In Kalos, before traveling back, she had stocked up in Super and Hyper Potions, and a few more PokeBalls, just in case something happened to her Pokemon where they needed immediate health restoration, and if she encountered more pokemon. "Here we are."

The Pokemon Center was the same as every other one in Sinnoh, all machines, lounges and Nurse Joy and Chansey's counters. Spotting her, she went towards her and greeted, "Hello! Nurse Joy, Chansey. I would like to stay for a few days if that's alright."

The pinked hair smiled. "Why hello there. You came just in time. The Pokemon Center has been getting full since the Contest Hall is starting soon. Say, will you be participating too?"

Eden nodded. "I just came back from Kalos. I was going to head home back at Solaceon Town before going to challenge the next gym, but days before I found out that a Pokemon Contest was going to be held here. I wouldn't miss it at all."

Nurse Joy smiled, and handed her her room key, and told her that there was going to be free food at 7:00pm, so she could help herself. Chansey also smiled, waving her stubby arms.

The trainer made her way to her room and left her luggage, then headed to the Pokemon Center's backyard. It was surprisingly sparse, a few trainers out with their pokemon. Some were just lounging, giving food, and in the very back, there were two battles taking place. Eden could make out a Drifblim and a Kriketune on one battlefield, and in the other there was a Rapidash and a Flaaffy. A few expectators or travel companions watched on, cheering on who they believed would win.

"All right, everyone come out!" Throwing her six Pokeballs into the air, her companions in a shining light appeared. She smiled as her companions looked back at her, all smiling. "I'm sure being cooped up in there must have been tiring for all those hours, am I right? Gardevoir? Umbreon? Buizel? Vivillon? Bastiodon? And Gible?"

Her current team consisted of Gardevoir, Umbreon, Buizel, Vivillon, Bastiodon, and the utmost recently caught Gible, all who were caught in the Sinnoh region while on her adventures. She has caught many other Pokemon as well, who are currently back with Professor Rowan. Eden made sure to check up on them, staying at time hours on the video chat, seeing how they were and how they interacted with other trainer's Pokemon. Everytime she had the time, she would travel to Sandgem Town to spend time with them, staying at the Pokemon Center for up to a week.

"Gar-Gar-Gardevoir!"

"Umbreon!"

"Bui-Bui!

"Vivi-Vi!"

"Bastiodon-don-don!"

"GIBLE!"

"Wait! Gible, don't….ah!"

The Land Shark Pokemon clamped down his jaws on Eden's head, causing a wince out of her. She grabbed her little friend, holding him tightly and prying his teeth from her head, which would surely end up leaving a few marks and scratches, but he wouldn't budge. It wasn't until Gardevour used Psychic to remove the little Dragon/Ground type Pokemon from her trainer's now throbbing head.

"Thank you, Gardevoir." Eden nodded at the tall Psychic/Fairy type Pokemon, who nodded back and began to chastise Gible, being joined by the rest of the team. Seeing everyone surrounding him, she decided to intervene, seeing and semi-understanding what they were saying based on their tone and situation. "All right, break it up." She knelt down on the ground, looking at the apologetic Pokemon. "Gible, you shouldn't bite people unexpectedly. You could accidentally end up hurting someone, especially a child or elderly person who isn't capable of handling a bite from your species." She earned a 'Gible…' from him, and she slightly tapped him in his dorsal fin. "If you need to bite my head...just let me know beforehand…okay?"

The Land Shark Pokemon happily showed a toothy grin, with a resounding "GIBLE!"

"Buizel…"

"Um-Umbreon"

The Sea Weasel and Moonlight Pokemon let out sighs at their recently joined teammate.

"Well then, please don't think much about it. It's now time for you guys to eat!"

For the next forty minutes, Eden served everyone their Pokemon food, giving them some Poffins in their meal for their hard work, getting gleeful sounds from them. While they were eating, she heard Nurse Joy call out to everyone that dinner was ready, and could help themselves. As always, Gardevoir took charge of watching everyone, allowing her trainer to grab some food. Waiting for her turn on line, peaked and decided to grab some Spicy Sausage Curry*, which was something introduced from the Galar Region, along with a serve of Triple Fruit Salad*, and a Lemonade and Fresh Water. Walking back, she could see that nearly everyone of her pokemon were done eating, Vivillon and Buizel still having some left. Gardevoir gave her a nod, Eden thanking her, and sat down on the ground with her Pokemon, enjoying her meal. As she ate, she gazed at the stars, seeing each one twinkle, and made her think of the stories that her father told her at bed time, especially those of the Legendary Pokemon, Dialga, Ruler of Time, and Palkia, Ruler of Space. How everything that humans and pokemon saw was held in balance by them, a task given by the first ever Pokemon in existence, Arceus.

"It's time for me to get some sleep." She yawned aloud, her pokemon noticing the drowsiness forming in her face. "But I need a shower first…" She stood up and placed her dish and trash in their respective places, then came back and saw that her pokemon were also showing signs of sleepiness. Patting her stomach, she said, "It's so weird. As soon as we finish eating, sleep tries to take over. It must be a forever mystery for humans and pokemon." Taking out the Pokeballs, she held them tightly in her hands. "Time to go. Tomorrow, we should rehearse our combos and see how we can switch things up a bit. I know this will be your first contest, Gible, so let's find something that will work for us!" Her team went straight back into their respective Pokeball, and she went to her room.

Eden took a small shower, and changed into a pair of Pikachu sweats and shirt. In the mirror, she brushed her silk white hair, making sure it was untangled. As she did, she noticed her phone buzzing. In the screen she saw that she had two messages from her mother, that said,

-Have you arrived in Chocovine Town, my sweet Eden?

-It has been some time, just wanted to make sure you are safe.

Eden replied while giving herself a little tap on her head,

-Sorry mom, I forgot to call you. Yes, I am in Chocovine Town, staying at a Pokemon Center for the next few days. Please cheer me and my team in the Contest Hall. Have a good night, and love you and dad.

She hanged her towel on the shower curtain, and dragged her feet over to the bed, where she just threw herself on it, careful from landing on her friends (she made it a habit of sleeping with her Pokemon Pokeballs ) and hugged the six half-red half-silver balls to her body, shutting her eyes, the last thoughts in the mind being,

'Nothing crazy will stop me from winning this Contest Hall and winning my nex gym battle.'

Sleep took over, her mind in the land of dreams, unknown to her that she would end up waking in another world different from her own. The questions: how and why?
