She has very unique eyes. Not in sense of like she has rare eyes color, like green and violet or heterochromia. But from certain point of view, she does have heterochromia. Just not the normal one.
Her eyes is red. And like those of snake's pupil. Not because of albinism, as her eyes only become red if only she wanted to. And these eyes has unique ability. No, not just one, but TWO different ability, depending on which eyes. But she doesn't really like to use it as little kid, as it caused her headache. Severe headache. But the eye's abilities became very useful once she can control it. Never fully, regretfully.
On that day, the day of her death in real world, the atmosphere strangely little hotter than your usual summer day. But she care not for this. As the sequel for Fortune Lover just come out!
The name of the sequel is Fortune Lover II: Love at the Magical Ministry. She really excited to play it! She and A-chan supposed to go the store together, but as she got struck by heat stroke, leaving her alone to go to game store. Lucky for her, copies of the game has not yet has been sold out. As she paid for the game, two as she also buying the game for A-chan, she peered out of the window. Summer can be either a paradise or hell, depending on who's she asked. For her, it's hell if she has to go to the store for her mother and paradise if she lounging around, just doing nothing. This? She considers her current endeavour a necessary hell and suffering, for paradise part will come tonight.
Once she paid for the games, she quickly get out from the store and enters the convenience store next to the game store. She purchased Dr. Pepper, "the beverage for intelligent people", or so her uncle claim. Her eccentric uncle is the one that make her addicted to Dr. Pepper. That because her uncle make her drink only Dr. Pepper when she visited him at Akihabara. As the result of her uncle's action? She now will pick Dr. Pepper over any other beverage like Sprunk and Coca-Cola. She can't visited her uncle as often she wanted anymore, as he now currently very busy with his labs. Once she purchased the beverage, she making her ways towards her house. But on the way home, she got chased by the stray dog. But this not just any stray dog.
"Damn it, Hanako! You become such a brat when Seto-kun not around!"
This dog actually kind of belongs to one of her friend, Kousuke Seto. When he around, Hanako never chase her, Hanako even played with her when Seto-kun is around. But when he not around, Hanako will tried to chase her.
She didn't notice Hanako has ceased her chase. She keep running until it's too late. She didn't notice she crossing the road with her eyes shut and the traffic is very busy that noon. When she opened her eyes and turn her head to look at the dog, she greeted with a shocking view. As if the time itself slowed, she looked at the truck that will hit her. She looked at surprised expression of the truck's driver. Before she can even process what happening, she got hit.
As the blood pooled around her, a cries for help, the gathering of people around her, she laid motionless. She can feel her broken bones piercing her vital organs. The surrounding noises became stilled. As her breath became slower, her view dimmed, her last thought is,
Ahh, it's very hot today...
Before she feels like she being swallowed.
As for Katarina Claes, the original, when she tripped, she not just scarred her forehead. No, as for that moment, the impact of her head hitting the sharp rock, she also died from that impact.
She doesn't know this however, as when she opened her eyes, the one that now inhibit her body is a new person. Not that Katarina anymore. But she still lived on within her body. She now a prisoner in her own body. And her consciousness now split itself to what now known as Katarina's Council.
And she, the original, doesn't realised what happened to her.
One blink of her right eye, and she can take control of any person she ever met. As long she knew their names, be it fake or their real name, she can take control of any persons. She can only take control 1 person at the time, but has no time limit once she reach puberty. When she first use this eye, she used it on Jeord unconsciously. Just for measly 2 minutes, but due to that 2 minutes, she managed to escape the doom that surely follow if she engaged to the Third Prince. When she reached puberty, she has many suitors asking for her hand in marriage. But as she favoured her current lifestyle, she uses this ability many times. Either on the suitors or her father. Even the King himself not immune to this ability when he asked her to be engaged to Prince Jeord again, who's now one of her best friends. She could only control her target up to 5 minutes when she 12 year old. When she 16 though, she could control her target infinitely. No time limit. Though to do this, she need a strong willpower and be able to endure massive strain on her She called her right eye Controlling Eye. No...it's not her that give that name. It's something from the eye itself that give the name for itself. Not that she minded of course. The name itself is very cool.
On her left eye though, thing get little bit... complicated. You see, her left eye's ability is nothing unique at first. She can implement any emotions she wanted on her chosen target. Anger, sadness, hatred and even lust can be implemented. Nothing special, yes? But as she grow, the scope of her left eye's ability began to grow. At 10, she can implement her own emotions, thoughts and memories. At 12, she now can implement fake memory or things that her target think happens, but in reality, it's never happened. At 14, she can directly implement part of her personality onto any person of her choosing. This make the target somehow behave like her in aspect of her that she implemented onto that person. At 15, she can implement any part of Katarinas that make up her mind meeting onto any target. Cynicarina, Bakarina, Plotarina, Chairina and Sadrina . And this ability now up to 5 target. At 16, the full power of this ability is revealed. How you ask? She accidentally used it on poisonous cobra that almost bite her. The effect? Every part of her that make...well, her, she can feel it ripped from her shoved through the cobra eyes. Soon after, she felt like her head split open. But in that almost unbearable pain, the cobra no longer attack her. Rather, it's coiled itself around her leg, as they tried to comfort her. The cobra is now, in the lack of better word, is her. Now there are two Katarina, one in human body and one in snake's body. She now can overwritten someone's personality and replaced it with her own. Even if her original body is killed, she still live on through another. She don't know how, but she instinctively know there no set limit on how many people she can overwritten. The name of her left eye is Implementing Eye.
She rarely used her left Eye's full power. She mostly use it to implement emotions and sometimes thought. She also doesn't use her right Eye that much, as the side effect of her right Eye is very annoying. She very bored...her doom flag is already taken down. All of them. Her life now is fulfilling but uneventful.
No one can resist her Eyes power. The only one that can put resistance to her Eyes is the Dark Magic user. And they are very few now ever since she...cull them off. She currently hunting on the last few remaining Dark Magic user. Two kids, one boy and one girl. As she tracking the hiding kids, using mostly her cobra, she finds them. Ah, very cute, they're hugging each other. Well..no matter, they are dangerous to her. As they're crying, asking her to spare them, she ignores their cries. She used her blade to stab the boy first, as he is very annoying with his begging. One stab at his heart, and He fall dead. Hey, at least he died quick, alright? Now the girl is the only one left. Her crying now stopped almost completely when the boy fall down.
"W-why?!"
"Why what?"
"Why you hunting us down?! What we did to you?!"
"Because you and your kind is nuisance to me. But as you are the one of two remaining Dark Magic user, I'll tell you my secret."
She focused her mana to her back, a pair of wing black as the night itself formed at her back. The girl's eyes widened at this spectacle.
"Y-you same as us...why?! Why you betrays your own kind!?"
"Because I can and I want to. It that good enough reason?"
The girl fall silent. She take it as her cue to finish the job. A lance of darkness formed at her palm. She point it towards the girl.
"Goodbye, sister."

In this, Dark Magic is just like Light Magic, just more rarer. No sacrificing bullshit.
Implementing Eye- allow her to implement her emotions and ideal onto any person of her choosing. On the full power, she can implement herself, just like the current does to the original. This person is now a Katarina in their behaviour and personality. The previous one got erased.
Controlling Eye- she can control any person she want. When she reached 16 year old, she can control one person infinitely. But the drawback is she got massive headache.
