Ben 10 P.O.V.
Ahhh, man what great life I have. I'm Ben Tennyson, by the way. I have a watch that can turn me into 10 different aliens, its called the Omnitrix . A lot has been happening last year. Getting the Omnitrix, almost destroying the universe, finding my birth mom is crazy Russian assassin. I didn't search for her, I don't have a death wish and probably its for the best and thank God she doesn't know about my powers . She left a letter when I found out about her , but that's for another story. Running away from my house and disappearing for 3 months. These 3 months, I was practicing magic by a sorcerer supreme, the Ancient one. My alien grandma visiting me and my cousin Gwen and then finding out we're half alien called Anodite. Training to become a plumber, an intergalactic law-enforcement organization. For some strange reason I'm growing red hair but I use brown hair dye but that's getting lame real fast.. Today is my first day my summer vacation. Yay! Finally, another crazy summer, fighting villains! But this time it's across North America, and I have no idea how grandpa Max convinced mine and Gwen's parents to come along . Even in bigger RV! They know that me and Gwen have superpowers. We expected to be grounded to not use our powers and to cut contact from Grandpa because he let us use them , but mine and Gwen's parents felt happy and proud, but also extremely worried at the same time, especially for me . They worry that my birth mom will come to kill me or kidnap me, but that's gonna happen. I have weapon and combat experience and my best friends behind me to watch my back. And I have no idea why "Mom" left me, but Grandpa tells me that I have her red hair and green eyes but I don't care. She probably didn't want me and just dumped me into the trash. Hopefully I won't meet her , but knowing my dumb luck, it's gonna happen , Oh Jesus, please don't make me meet her. I remember her shouting at me that I ruined her life and that I am the devil. Oh , I almost forgot the super good news, I got a new Omnitrix, well the name is Ultimatrix, a few days ago ! Azmuth told me I wasn't worthy of the old miserable version. I still haven't tested it because SHIELD is searching for me. Right now we stopped on a parking lot to sleep the rest for the night before entering Mexico . I looked trough the window and saw my second favorite fast food place-MacDonald's
Right now I am at MacDonald's and heading to the cash register. I spotted a woman with red hair like mine, black jacket and black pants, ( My hair is brown now because of hair dye) and green eyes, looking at her phone. I peeked and saw a picture of …..me ? The realization hit me . HOLY MOLY JESUS CHRIST!!!!!! I mentally screamed. That can't be my mom right!? What if she knows about my powers. Is she here to hurt me!? I snapped back at the reality and tried my best to keep my cool. "Can I have two Big Macs and two large fries?" I asked. Me and Gwen eat pretty much the same things. I started waiting for my order. Then the woman putted away her phone and looked at me, eyes wide. OKAY, STAY CALM, SHE IS NO ONE, SHE LEFT AND NEVER WANTED YOU, JUST D0N'T LOOK AT HER EYES TENNYSON , JUST KEEP YOUR COOL.. I mentally took a deep breath.
I looked at the child and my eyes went wide. It was 11 year old boy, with green jacket with number 10 on his left , black T-shirt, blue jeans , black and white shoes. His hair was brown but this forelock was red. That was my son. WHAT IS HE DOING HERE!? I could tell he was nervous. DO not tell me he saw the picture. I chuckled at his choice of fashion. :"No offence kid, but what's with the fashion?" I asked. You FOOL, NATASHA. "Excuse me ?" He asked. " Your forelock is red, but the rest is brown." I said . I could tell he used hair dye "Oh, umm, for some strange reason my hair's color is becoming red, not brown. I'm using men's hair dye. And my mom told me to not talk to strangers " he said with scared expression. I should be the one to tell him that! I should've confronted Max Tennyson back then. " No offence but you do not look like your mother and father." I said. Great now he will think I am pedophile or a stalker. " Well my birth mom was Russian assassin , she probably just went too far with her mission and it was probably too late for abort, so here am I." Ben pointed with finger at himself. This hurts me a lot . He only remembers the bad things, not the good things "She probably loved you and did for your own safety." I said trying to change his mind. " Are you here to kill me in from her name , miss? "He spoke giving me dead glare " Your order mister. $ 9.99" The employee said with bag in his hand . Ben gave him 10 dollars bill and the employee handed him the bag. He turned to me, giving me one last dead glare before walking out here.
GWEN.POV.
Everyone was asleep now, expect me and Ben. I was sitting on the couch . He told he would go to MacDonald's and buys some food while I was practicing the spells from a book he gave me about the mystic arts. He teached how to make shields, open a portal and put on protection spells . .(Not that we hate homemade food, we just ate too much MacDonald's and had to go to a hospital when we was five and our parents don't allow us to eat MacDonald's more than 2 times a month. The door opened and I saw Ben . "Finally Ben, I starving." I said. "Gwen, we got a BIG problem ." He said more serious than ever. He sat next to me on the couch. " Guess who I met in the building." He said. I clearly had no idea who could it be. Vilgax, there would an explosion. Hex, the same. Ghostfreak- probably wrecking the building . "No" I said. "Remember when I told you-" I already knew where he was going with this. "You met her?" I asked surprised that Ben didn't start a fight. " I even talked to her. She even told me that I didn't look like mom and dad." He said. Okay, I already want to go and kill her. " What if she's here to hurt me? Did she learned about my powers? Oh my God I gotta get us out of here. We can't let our parents and Grandpa know that I met her." He said . "Oh come on, she cannot be that evil, is she?" I asked. " I remember, We left the hospital we were probably at her home and she was yelling at me bout how I ruined her life, that I am the devil and to get used to it. Well guess what, she ruined her life herself." Ben replied now tears down his face. I knew she could be hiding and hear it , but I didn't care anymore. I hugged him and said. "You, the Devil!? This is just like telling that Cash from school is the smartest person in the world. Remember the lives you saved with the watch. I gotta say, sometimes you mess up like activating the self destruct mode on the Omnitrix, but then you fixed it." "What if she heard it?" He asked "Then we're going to have a chat with her. You can't hide forever from her" "Like hell I talk to her." He replied. Now I will try to change his mind "What if I told she asked me how were you doing and that I spotted her watching you play football. " I think you're right, I gotta talk to her " He said. His phone ringed. Well, here goes nothing.
BEN.POV
My phone rang and I looked at the number. UKNOWN. Typical. I answered the call and putted on speaker so Gwen could listen. " We're finally gonna speak?" The woman asked. "If you mean, not fighting to death and talk like civilized people then yes" I said. I was not in the mood but there's no going back. " You at least have a sense of humor." She said. What can I say? That's one of my superpowers, beside shape-shifting and magic. " The same place we met before. I'I be waiting for you." She replied at she ended the call. AWKARD. "That could've gone worse." Gwen said. "You think that this is setup?" I asked. " I doubt it. Even if it is, you still will come on top." She replied. " Okay, scream if you need anything" I said as I opened the RV door. " I don't think I will. Thank you for the book by the way." She replied
" You're welcome." I smiled and exited the RV, closing the door behind me. Oh, Jesus I just signed up for my death .
Jesus where is she? It's getting boring. Plus it's raining. I leaned against the fast food wa ll and closed my eyes. "You're alive?" Someone asked. I opened my eyes and saw my birth mom. "Just about miss." I replied. "Call me Natasha." She said. I had a big grin and said. "Ok, Ms. Natasha." She rolled her eyes at my comment. "Did you miss me?" She asked. "Honestly I don' remember anything except you shouting at me that I ruined your life." I said. I swear I saw a tear in her eye. " You remember only that?" She asked. She kept around for a few weeks, what am I supposed to remember? "You only kept me around for a few weeks. Should I remember anything else expect you shouting at me?" I asked. OK, maybe I went a little bit too far. But what does she wants from me now? "Two years actually." She replied. Two years!? The chances of she keeping me for two years is like the chance I'm a villain. "I just wanted to say sorry. And maybe fix the mess I made." She continued. Fix the mess? I doubt she will. "And what are your superpowers?" She asked. Of course she heard it. "I prefer not to tell you, I don't wanna risk SHIELD hurting my family." I said. If it turns out she's from SHIELD I'I just sprint for my dear life. "I'm from SHIELD and you can tell me your little secret. " She said with a little smile. Ok, boys, time to run. " It's not so easy to trust a woman who you met a around half a hour ago." I said. Ok, I could tell she's getting pissed, but she tried to hide it. She wants to fix her mess, but she is getting pissed when I don't answer an question ? " Okay, maybe meeting you was a mistake. Goodbye" I said. Before I could walk away, she grabbed me by my left wrist. Thank god she didn't saw the Ultimatrix " Oh no, young man, I came here to talk with you. And we will talk.". Okay I studied the mystic arts I'm not afraid to use them. I could use the watch but that means I'm putting my family in constant danger. I tried to break from her grip but to no avail. "Last chance, let me go before you regret it." I said. She just shook her dead. I pressed my right arm against her chest and she fell on the ground. What I just did is that I pushed her astradal form from her physical form. I could see her astral form . She was looking at her fallen body , completely freaked out. " What did you just do to me?" She asked. I smiled and said "I pushed your spirit out of your body. Now if you excuse me , I have other things to attend to." I said and started walking away. " No! Wait!" She yelled behind me. Next thing I saw is that she tried to tackle me, but passed through my body. Oh, this is so hilarious ! "Fix it!" She yelled . I chuckled and said. "Why should I ?" I asked.
" Fix it, or I'I break every bone in your body." She said .I really thought she won't threat a child. " You're so pathetic. I thought you won't threaten a child, but I guess I undermasted you." I replied. I r aised my hand and her astral and physical reunited. She quickly stood up. "Next time I won't be so merciful." I said. "Do they know about your powers ? And what are your superpowers" She asked. This woman. " They know. The second ,I won't tell you what are my powers. "Where're you heading.?" She asked. " A trip across North America." I replied. Maybe I shoudn't have told her. "When did you get your powers." She asked. She's trying to get under my skin. She wanted me to use my powers! "None of your concern." I replied. "It is my concern. I even can get full custody of if I want to., so I advise you to behave and to talk to each other like a mother and a son." She said. Talk like a mother and son!?Hahhahahah! Good one! Wanna tell you a story? When I was in the academy to become a plumber, they gave me Sandwiches for lunch ( They didn't gave the humans alien food.) and a milk. I couldn't drink ordinary milk, just a chocolate one.
I asked the cook to replace the milk with something else and do you know what she told me? She told me that I probably got spanked up by mom when I was little ! " Oh yeah?" I asked not buying her bullshit. To my surprise she pull out papers from her purse. "If I just sign here, I get parental rights and 100% custody of you. Wanna do it?" Me and my big mouth. I hate her ! I just started crying. " Do you (SOBS) even know how much pain you caused me. You just appeared into my life, and now telling me to talk like a mother and a son!? SOBS You're not my mom if the science didn't say so! Where were you when I got beaten up by my bullies!? Where were you on my birthdays !? Where were you when I was sad!? Really where were you!? You were out there doing your stupid missions because you only care about them! " I yelled. Now that I think about it, it wasn't the best idea to trigger Russian assassin. But I don't care anymore I just use my powers. " And I know what you tried to do! You wanted me to use my powers!" I yelled again. Oh Jesus, I am so, so dead now. "I'I just let that slide because I have a mission. But remember, I am watching you and we will talk again soon, kiddo. Come on, I walk you to your home." She said. WHAT!? OH HELL NO! " No, thank you. I'm old enough, I can take care of myself." I said. In response, she grabbed me by the arm, tightly. "I wasn't asking." And we started walking. I looked at her. Geez, how old is she "How old are you?" I asked, You fool. "Twenty-eight ." She replied. Geez, she wasn't even an adult when she gave birth to me. "You look like twenty." I replied . I was trying to convince to not walk me home. "Thank you. By the way, you haven't got taller even with an inch. Are you okay?" She asked. The reason is because I'm half alien and I am aging slowly, I think she is half alien too, but she doesn't know about it.
"Why did you leave?" I tried to change the topic. We were at the parking lot" I did not left you. A mysterious man came and kidnapped you. When we finally found you, I went and confront Max. He told me that if he hands you over, you never start your journey, whatever that meant Right now you're considered a threat.." She said. I'm going to do something very stupid " If I reveal my powers you won't harm my family." .I asked. "Yes." She replied. I took a few steps back in case she tries to fight me. Here goes nothing. I rolled up my sleeve, revealing the Ultimatrix. She was confused at first but slowly put the pieces together. "Are you one of them or you're all of them?" She asked, completely shocked. "All of them." I replied. She just facepalmed and said "Oh my god, I really hope in the book how to be a mother is written how to deal with a kid shape-shifter.". Dude she's not adopting me! I gave a scary look, which she noticed "I'm only joking." She said "I have to go now, bye!" I said and walked towards the RV.
