Sigma Station, Deep Space
Light's flickered on and off through out the dark and cold station. Sounds of struggling echoed through the halls. Quantrons robotic foot soldiers often used by forces of evil laid along the floors of the halls and rooms of the stations. A black shadowy figure sped down the halls as if attempting to flee. More Quantrons followed after the figure. Entering into what seemed to be a hanger bay a recoding can be heard playing on one of the terminal screens.
"You need to hurry and get out of there! Quantron's are coming fast. I couldn't hold all of them off, Trey out!"
The Quantron's were then suddenly jumped from behind and attacked. the altercation was quick and decisive, but their was still danger present. The figure stepped out into the light revealing his black suit and armor. His visor reflecting the lights above, with his red crystal on his chest glowing bright. Opening the hatch to his ship a voice called out to the figure.
"Phantom!" The Phantom Ranger turned to face the one calling out for him. A cyborg power armored woman stepped out from the shadows.
"Come on now Roxy, you really want have another go at me right now?"
"You have something I need." She demanded raising her blaster to him.
"Correction I have something you want, not anything you need," The Phantom ranger responded. "Besides you know how this will go!" The Phantom Ranger motioned his arms and suddenly his body became almost ethereal and then suddenly invisible as if he was never there along with his ship.
"No!" Roxy shouted blasting away at nothing when suddenly the thrust of The Phantom Ranger's ship blasted her back as she couldn't see it coming. Just like that he was gone along with what ever it was she was after. Stepping into the hanger with her another cyber-like villain held out his hand for her to grab.
"In time we catch him, and take what we need." The Cyber Villain spoke to her. "We know where he heads too.
"Earth..." Roxy murmured under her breath.
"With out Trey or the help of those on KO-35 he is alone."
"You speak wisely and true Blaze. Inform Mercer we have The phantom Ranger's trail and that he's coming to earth and so are we." Roxy commanded walking away.
Aggieville
Nearly a month had gone by since the Ranger's first morph and battle against Feral. Since that time a number of Putties were detected and defeated by the Rangers. While one two separate occasions they had defeated the monsters Terrax a beast born form a mutated crow and Ortango a mutant bread from that of a chimp. It seems the serums Mercer had been using only work with wildlife, yet the past two monsters where quite the hassle. The growing threat of Putties sprouting more frequently to nearly twice a week and a monster every two weeks the rangers had moved all their classes to online so that they could remain on standby for what ever may come their way. As well as taking up training sessions under DJ and tutoring sessions under Blake. They were beginning to understand the actual toll on one's life that being a Ranger has. Their social lives were basically with each other. Although for two that didn't seem to bother them as in the space in between Alice and DJ were forming a stronger bond with one another. Then again for another maybe to close.
Mckenna sat in her chair in the one of the school lounges working one of her online assignments on her laptop. When glancing up she can see Alice and DJ laughing joking with one another at the other end of the lounge. While they were to themselves and not quite being to loud it was distracting enough for McKenna. Who seeing Eric walk by saw chance to change her current situation.
"Eric!" She called getting his attention.
"Hey, what's up?"
"I'm really dying for something to do other than...this," She gestured to her school work keeping the part about DJ and Alice to herself. "You got anything for me that I can do?"
"Well," Eric pondered for a moment. "I know Blake is at the park right now doing something about taking a day to himself. Well hey how about this," Eric came to a conclusion. "So I'm actually needing to go to the Strip and pick up some materials needed for one of the Council member's birthday. You want come with?"
"Yes, that would be fantastic." She quickly hurried to gather her things up and follow him.
"Sweet I'll go get my car and meet you outside." Eric informed go to get his things.
Outskirts of Aggieville
The Phantom Ranger's ship still cloaked descended onto the planet. Flying through the atmosphere and past the clouds. Pressing a few buttons The Phantom Ranger seemed to be following a beacon that only his ship could follow. Flipping a switch The Phantom Ranger then began to call out into his communicator. "Phantom Ranger to Alpha-5, come in Alpha," He spoke. "I repeat Phantom Ranger to Alpha-5."
Back at The Temple of Power Alpha alerted to the call rushed as quickly as he could over to his computer. "Ninjor quickly, The Galactic-Communicator is suddenly active!" Alpha prompted Ninjor who awoke from a trance like state.
"The Galactic Communicator? Who could it be, Trey or Orion?" Ninjor asked.
"It seems to be The Phantom Ranger, but I'm having trouble responding."
"Phantom Ranger to Alpha, Ninjor? Can anyone hear me?" The Phantom Ranger tired once more. However unaware at this very moment while his ship is cloaked it can be seen through a special kind of thermal scanning pair of binoculars by Mercer. Who upon seeing the ship shot out an energy beam smashing into one of the wings of the ship sending it falling out of the sky and crashing into the near by rocks.
"Go," Mercer commanded his Putties as around two dozen of them began rushing down the hill towards the crash site. "You two go as well." He turned walking back past Roxy and Blaze. "My master expects nothing but perfection. Fail me and you fail him, and thus you forfeit your lives." Mercer finished teleporting away.
"Oh no, the Phantom Ranger's Ship has been shot down!" Alpha wailed in concern.
"Quickly you must locate his position at once," Ninjor commanded. "We need to get help to him quickly, call the Rangers!"
"Alice and DJ are the closest I'll reach out to them first." Alpha replied.
City Park
Alice and Dj made their way through the park holding hands as they spoke about their different lives leading them up to where they were now in life as Power rangers when suddenly their phones went off. It was the emergency alarm Alpha had installed for incase of an attack. DJ answered his turning on the speaker so that Alice could also hear as well. "Alpha come in, what's up?"
"Rangers!" Alpha called out. We have a serious problem one of Ninjor's Allies The Phantom Ranger is currently under attack on the outskirts of town. Quickly you must get to him and save him before Mercer and his minions get to him first!" Alpha informed the two.
"Of course Alpha we're on it." DJ replied confidently.
"I'm plugging in the coordinates now and teleporting you right away." In almost an instant the two quickly felt their bodies shake as they were suddenly whisked away and teleported to the other side of town near the rocky hills where The Phantom Ranger had crashed. They could see his ship mangled and in pieces on the ground. Moving to investigate they then heard a ruckus not to far away. Moving quickly over the hill they spotted the Phantom Ranger. He was surrounded on all sides attempting to hold off both the Putties and Blaze and Roxy.
"I'm guessing that's our guy?" DJ commented.
"We need to help now." Alice pointed out with the two of them drawing their Power Morphers and calling out their Zords.
"Pterodactyl!"
"Tyrannosaurus!"
The two leapt down into the fray kicking and punching back a few of the Putties. The Phantom Ranger was shocked just like Roxy and Blaze but was more relieved to finally have some help. "Are you okay?" Alice checked on their fellow Ranger as DJ pulling out his blaster and transforming it into a button like weapon held off the monsters.
"Ninjor sent us!" DJ called out.
"We can't stay here to much longer," The Phantom Ranger spoke struggling to stand. "My power crystal has been cracked and I'm struggling to hold myself together we need to get back to Ninjor fast."
"On it I'll make an opening," DJ spoke up. "Alice get him to the Temple and get the others here as soon as possible!" He then followed it up with his command. Swiping and smashing down two more Putties as they attempted to make a move. "None of you pebble freaks are getting anywhere near them!" DJ declared standing his ground.
"Kill him!" Roxy demanded.
The Strip
All the meanwhile McKenna and Eric made their way down the Strip running errands together. Finishing it at Pantera one of the Cafes. Even checking in on one of the baristas who once attacked durring Mercer's invasion. The young girl Kora, who remembered the duo and was slowly becoming friends with them. While talking the two were both alerted to their alarms on their phones by Alpha. Rushing outside to take the call the two are quick hang up as their suddenly ambushed by Putties themselves hardly giving them chance to react. With people running off in fear the two quickly act and begin to lead the Putties away into a secluded area near a parking garage using the waving of their Power Morphers to get their attention.
While leading them away Eric attempts to call Blake and alert him of what going but can't reach his friend. "Any luck?" McKenna question dodging an attack from a Putty kicking away from her.
"No nothing!" Eric Elbow tackles another into a concrete support beam. "Something's not right!" He then suggest as the two realizing they're being kept from joining any of the others decide to go ahead and Morph to end the fight as quickly as possible.
"Mastodon!"
"Saber-Tooth Tiger!" But much like how the Phantom Ranger was stalked. The two here were also followed as a pair of eyes also witness the transformation.
Temple of Power
Alice teleported into the Temple holding the Phantom Ranger who collapsed as they arrived. "Quickly we must place him into the healing chamber!" Ninjor offered helping Alice carry him over.
"What about DJ and the others?" Alice then inquired showing concern for her friends.
"This isn't good, DJ is alone by himself fighting of the ones who attacked The Phantom Ranger. Eric and McKenna have also come under attack by Putties in the city."
"What about Blake?"
"I'm tracking him now." A few moments passed and with a sudden shock of fear Alpha jumped back. "OH NO!"
"What is it Alpha?" Ninjor demanded and answer.
"It's Blake's Morpher,' Alpha responded. "He's been teleported away from Earth!"
"To where?" Alice questioned.
The Sea of Tranquility, The Moon
Blake was forced to his knees by two Quantrons. They were located in some kind of station that was secretly built. Stepping out from the shadows Mercer appeared tossing away his cloak. Revealing his true form. He was a yellow alien humanoid who's body was covered in scars and tattoos. He wore armor on his arms and legs. His nails were like claws and his head was covered in grey metal mask. On his back he had a curved serrated blade.
"Welcome Ranger," He speaks tossing him his Power Morpher. "You are here to be tested, and I prefer and honorable duel." Mercer informed Blake who cautiously looked around.
"If you say so." Blake responded.
"Triceratops!" Blake transformed also transforming his blaster into a baton as he drew his weapon. "Come on Mercer I'm more than happy to kick your extra-terrestrial ass!" Blake declared as their duel issued.
