Chapter 1: Celebrating Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez's Birthday
Ichigo had woken up first as he yawned and stretched. He smiled as he saw his lover, Grimmjow sleeping very cutely.
Ichigo stroked Grimmjow's cheek as he looked out the window. The sun was bright and shining and the birds were flying back and fourth.
A few ghostly kids were out playing with the other ghostly kids.
Ichigo smiled as he got out of his bed and headed to the restroom.
Grimmjow turned to the right side as he felt the warm side. He opened his eyes and saw that his lover, Ichigo, wasn't in bed with him.
Grimmjow smiled as he yawned and looked up at the ceiling.
Kon then crawled out from under the bed and cleared his throat.
"You two need to keep it down! People such as myself are sleeping!" Kon said.
Grimmjow smirked as he reached over and grabbed Kon.
"Aww, the poor little stuffed animal can't handle two lovers getting to know each other a little better.~" Grimmjow said.
"What? Please! If I had both Rukia and Orihime in bed with me, I'd be making them scream louder than Ichigo!" Kon said.
"What the hell, Kon?" Ichigo said as he stood in the doorway as he raised his eyebrows.
"Ah! No I mean-" Kon choked on his words.
"Meh, don't listen to him babe, he's just missing out in action." Grimmjow said.
"You know he is. Hey babe, isn't today your birthday~?" Ichigo asked.
"Hell yeah it is. Got something for me~?" Grimmjow asked.
"I do….but are you having a party or anything?" Ichigo asked as he got closer to his lover.
"I might, if I am then I'll let you know. Anyways I should get going, the gang must be worried." Grimmjow said.
Ichigo held onto Grimmjow close to him and kissed his neck.
Grimmjow moaned as he rolled his eyes back.
"You- you're so sexy babe, don't leave me…~" Ichigo said.
Kon covered his eyes.
"Mmm- mmmh, babe, later. Okay~" Grimmjow said.
Ichigo pouted.
The two shared a passionate kiss.
"Alright love, see you later.~" Ichigo said.
Grimmjow grabbed his bag with his change of clothes inside and left Ichigo's home.
"Get a room!" Kon said.
"Kon, you can just head to my sister's room and stay there till we're done making love to each other." Ichigo said.
"What?! But she'll just dress me up and make me have a tea party with her other stuffed animals." Kon whined.
"Oh well, sounds fun to me if I were a stuffed animal." Ichigo said as he headed downstairs to get something to eat.
Grimmjow waited outside as someone very tall came over.
"What up, birthday boy~?" Nnoitra said.
"Tch, someone that isn't spoon boy." Grimmjow said.
"Oh hush, I was told to come here to come get ya. Anyways let's go already, I'm hungry." Nnoitra said.
Grimmjow raised an eyebrow.
"It's literally morning, how did you not eat anything?" Grimmjow asked.
"Mostly because I'm lazy and don't give a shit." Nnoitra said.
Grimmjow rolled his eyes.
The two walked home, not saying a word to each other.
It was still morning, but they walked into a shortcut on their way home.
"Hey, uh can we stop for some coffee?" Nnoitra asked.
"Fine, just hurry up." Grimmjow said.
Nnoitra headed inside to get some coffee.
Grimmjow waited outside as he looked around.
He also saw ghostly kids playing with other ghostly kids.
He smiled at them, he then saw a small kid running to the road.
The kid ran to the road to grab the ball.
Grimmjow gasped as he ran after him.
"Hey! Stop! Kid stop!" Grimmjow shouted at the kid, but the kid didn't listen.
A car was driving a little fast.
The kid grabbed the ball as he looked at the car.
Grimmjow jumped in front of the car as he pushed the kid out of the way but the car ended up hitting Grimmjow instead.
The kid gasped as he saw Grimmjow get hit.
The kid cried and screamed.
Nnoitra came outside as he spit out his coffee.
"Grimmjow!" Nnoitra screamed as he ran into the road to see if Grimmjow was okay.
Grimmjow was bleeding and was knocked out.
The ambulance was called. Grimmjow was taken to the hospital.
Nnoitra waited in the hallway with the kid.
"The hell were you doing in the street, kid?! Did you know that playing in the damn street is dangerous?!" Nnoitra yelled at the kid.
"Master, please don't yell at him." Tesla said.
Nnoitra gave Tesla a glare.
"I-I'm sorry, I was playing with my ball and it rolled into the road, I chased after it." The kid explained.
"Dumbass kid, should've looked both ways!" Nnoitra shouted.
The kid cried as he hid behind Tesla.
"It's okay, please don't cry." Tesla confronted the kid.
"Master, please don't shout at him." Tesla said.
"How are we going to tell Ichigo about this? He'll flip." Nnoitra said.
"We need to wait till we get-" Tesla was interrupted by the door opening.
A nurse with black and purple hair came out with the results.
"So, it seems like Grimmjow has amnesia and a broken arm. So no serious injuries." Izaya said.
"Thank you! Can we go see him?" Nnoitra asked.
"Yes, but please be quiet." Izaya said.
Nnoitra and Tesla walked inside to the room.
Izaya kneeled as he gave the kid a lollipop and ruffled his hair.
"It's okay little one, he's going to be okay. This isn't your fault." Izaya said.
The kid sniffled as he cried and hugged Izaya.
Izaya smiled and hugged him back.
Grimmjow was looking up at the ceiling, he turned as he saw Nnoitra and Tesla approaching him.
"Hey there, how are you feeling?" Nnorita asked.
Grimmjow raised an eyebrow, "Wait who are you?"
"We're your friends, Tesla and Nnoitra." Tesla said,
"I'm sorry, I don't know who you are." Grimmjow said as he looked away.
"This is bad so freakin' bad. Ichigo will kick our asses for this." Nnoitra said.
"We'll bring him here a little later, maybe his memories will come back." Tesla said.
"Are you stupid?! Animesa doesn't last for like an hour." Nnoitra said.
Izaya walked in as he folded his arms giving Nnoitra a glare.
"Keep your voice down, some people are getting surgery and others are trying to get some sleep. Also some animesas do last an hour, but this one isn't too severe, so it'll last for twenty-four hours." Izaya explained.
"Right right, and aren't you a soul reaper?" Nnoitra asked.
"Yes. This is my dream job." Izaya said as he smiled.
"Right, Tesla you stay here till I get back, don't tell Ichigo about this till we bring him here." Nnoitra said as he left.
Tesla nodded as he sat down and sighed sadly.
Izaya frowned as he sat next to him.
"He's still treating you like shit?" Izaya said.
"Yes…...I hate to admit it…..but I like him…...but I can't stand how he treats me….I just wish he'll change and see his mistakes." Tesla said as he finally broke down crying.
Izaya gave him some tissues and a hug.
"I'm sure he'll change, everything will be okay." Izaya said.
Grimmjow watched them as he smiled and fell back asleep.
"Ah, the pills kicked in. Grimmjow can leave in five hours, let him rest till then." Izaya said.
"Thank you. May I ask, where's the kid at?" Tesla asked.
"His mom came by and picked him up. He's really sorry for everything." Izaya said.
He put his hand on Tesla's shoulder as Izaya walked out.
Tesla nodded as he sat there and slowly closed his eyes.
"What the hell do you mean by he got hit by a car!?" Loly shouted at Nnoitra.
"Listen! I mean he got his by a car because his dumbass ran after it because some dumbass kid went after his stupid ball, and dumbass Grimmjow went after him pushed him out of the way and the car hit him." Nnorita said.
"Goodness, we're having his party in a few hours, can you tell us when he gets out?" Szayel asked.
"Erm, I don't know actually. I left my little pest behind to get the details." Nnoitra said.
"Now you're the dumbass here. Go back and get the answer." Loly said.
"My little pest will text me, calm your-" Nnoitra was interrupted by a hand on his mouth.
"If you say it, you'll lose your mouth, zip it." Menoly said as he gave him a death glare.
Nnoitra gulped.
"Let's all calm down please. Nnoitra can you just text him instead?" Szayel asked.
Nnorita did so.
Tesla texted back, "The nurse said in five hours."
"Five hours, are y'all happy now?!" Nnoitra said.
"Well I guess that's fine." Loly said.
"Now we should do a get well party for Grimmjow." Luppi said.
"We'll figure something out, let's just take a breather till he's ready to come home." Loly said.
Everyone did so.
Grimmjow was still asleep as Izaya left some water and pills beside him.
"Tesla, you may head home now. I'll have Ichigo over and he'll bring him back home." Izaya said.
"If I leave, my master will-" Tesla was interrupted by Izaya's finger on his lips.
"Let me handle it, okay?" Izaya said.
Tesla nodded as he stood up and ran home.
