It had been quite the day, as Julia got home, took off her clothes and prepared a bath for herself. As she felt the warm water flowing out of the faucet, she added some vanilla and lavender scented soap that William got her for their anniversary. When the bath was filled enough, she turned off the faucet, and took off her robe and got into the bath and just relaxed, when she heard, "Julia, I'm home"

"In the bath, William"

Within 30 seconds she heard a knock on the bathroom door, "It's open, William"

The door opens, and as he peeks through, "may I come in?"

"Of course, William"

He enters the bathroom and closes the door, as he takes off his jacket and leans down and gives her a kiss on the forehead, "may I join you?"

She opens her eyes, "of course" she said as she saw him remove his clothes and noticed the scratches on his back, from their intense lovemaking the night before, and he looks at her, "they don't hurt, Julia." He said as he approached her and gave her a kiss, "good, because it was very amazing last night"

"I agree." He said as he went down the other way to get into the bath

"Wait, William. Come behind me."

He nodded and got out of the bath and waited for her to make room for him as he got back into the bath, and sat down as she was about to lean against his back, when he noticed her bruises, "Julia…" as he graze them, "was that me?"

She shook her head, "no, Miss Klotz. She was saying disgraceful things to Queenie and I couldn't take it and threw…I don't remember what I threw at her and she whipped me 3 times against the back"

He leans forward and kisses the bruises, "that's when you got on Queenie's good side"

"Yes" she said and leaned against his stomach, as he wrapped his arms around her, "the place was so dreadful, William. Especially that Dr. Cotton, forcing the women to get sterilized."

He squeezed and rocked her, "yes, I understand. When I first saw the place, it didn't look so bad. But after you went undercover…"

She nodded, "I want to help those women, but where do I start?"

"You already have helped, with Adelina and Edna."

"Yes, but what about Queenie and the other women? One girl who's barely 16, had to get sterilized the other day and refused. I am proud she stood up for herself."

"What was her crime?"

"Edna told me; she stole some food to feed her family."

"That's it?"

She nodded, and turned to look at him, "just to feed her family…and her punishment was the reformatory and now she can't have children" she said with tears in her eyes, "I feel so guilty"

He caressed her cheek, "why, Julia?"

"I was able to get out of there, and all those women are still in there." She turns away from him, "and right now, all I want to do is go help all those women, but how? I am just one woman"

"Julia" he said as he grabbed her chin with his finger, "you have me as help, too. If you want to help the women of the reformatory, you have my full support."

She grabs his face and gives him a passionate kiss, "thank you, William. I love you"

"I love you, too" as he kisses her back

She leans against him again, "feel better?" he asks

"Yes. I love when I'm wrapped up in your arms"

"So do I, Julia" he said as he gives her a kiss on head and continuing enjoying the bath.
