"I'm rich." -Bruce Wayne/Batman (Justice League/Justice League: Snyder Cut)
(Longer than usual chapter)
(Spoiler Alert)
I was told that I SEVERELY fucked up two characters in the previous Extraordinary Life In High School story (TMELIHS) and a Need For Speed crossover with Alpha and Omega.
Garth: Blitz, we need to talk..
Blazin' Blitz: What happened this time? I absolutely fucking swear I didn't steal Kate's underwear this timem
Kate: Huh, wait a sec-
Lilly: Anyway I rewatched Alpha and Omega recently and checked the wiki. Well... let's just say you messed up somewhere with the characters.
Blazin' Blitz: What? Is it bad? (It was fucking horrible...)
Kate: Bad is an understatement. Lilly told me the whole thing.
Lilly: You kinda fucked up Scar and Claw's gender roles in The Most Extraordinary Life In High... 'kinda'...
Kate: Again, understatement.
Humphrey: Claw's a female, Scar's a male. Sorry homie...
Blazin' Blitz: Fuck...
Garth: Welp, no one complained about it In TMELIHS and your NFS fic so that's okay, maybe? (Luckily that's coz no one read the Need For Speed crossover which I still need to update)
Blazin' Blitz: FOR WAY OVER FOUR YEARS I THOUGHT THE ONE WAS MALE AND THE OTHER WAS FEMALE?! I'M A GIGA-DUMBASS, WHAT THE FUCK?!
Kate: Hahaha, you basically assumed a gender by name.
Blazin' Blitz: I admit, I royally fucked up there.
Kate: You might get cancelled for that, y'know.
Garth: Kate, you look like the type to run straight to Twitter and be the first to call him out. You're a lowkey hypocrite.
Lilly: Honestly, one mistake or personal opinion that someone else doesn't like can turn you into a hashtag trend on social media these days...
Blazin' Blitz: Sadge...
A/N: Oof... I'm sorry about the Claw and Scar mix up from TMELIHS. I'll have to swap their dialogue around this chapter since I only found out about it halfway through editing it. We'll just pretend that if there were mentions of Claw and Scar in the previous chapter and I mixed the two up, it probably didn't happen...

Humphrey's P.O.V.
"We need to talk." The male agent states. The three of us look at the two wolves with worry and concern. "We have reason to suspect that that staying here is a great risk. We need to find you a new base/home as soon as possible." The female agent tells us.
"You mean we should just leave and go with you? We don't even know your names so how could we possibly trust you?" Kate asks the two gents. "Okay, you can scout for a comfotable place yourselves. It's your choice, really." The male agent states. Kate crosses her arms, showing that she's pissed at the wolf for ignoring her point. "Your names? We can't trust you without them." I say to the wolves. The two agents look at eachother for a moment as if they were having a telepathic discussion with themselves then turn back to us. "You can call us Claw and Scar for now." The female agent states. Lilly and I look at the two wolves suspiciously.
"Yeah, you're not doing a great job at getting us to trust you, especially with those names." I joke. "Our handler would have our asses if we leaked our identities to you four." 'Claw' shudders as she says this. "What and who is your so-called handler?" Lilly asks the agents. Scar groans at our annoyance before responding to Lilly's question. "Classified. From now on, you'll have to earn clearance to sensitive information. We still need to make sure you're liable too." He tells us.
"Riiight... so how are we gonna earn the right to ask 'sensitive questions'?" Kate asks the agents. "Pretend we're 'agent handlers' or case officers (we still don't know what the hell those mean, but okay) and that we dispatch you. Handlers make sure you stick to the legal rules and regulations and stop you from doing something really stupid. You just carry out your cases we assign to you and handle most situations in your own right, however you want. We give you tasks, you complete those tasks. Simple enough?" Scar explains. "So we're basically junior spies?" I ask him a genuine question. Claw hides a snicker as if I was joking about the question while Scar facepalms at me.
"You've got a long way to go before you can call yourself that..." Scar tells me. "And your first objective on this case is to find yourselves an inconspicuous place you're all comfortable with." He tells us. "Obviously you don't have to. We have our means to procure a suitable base. Think of this as a little 'test' for us to measure your liability." Kate and I weren't quite sure where to start then Lilly lifts up her hand. "Hey, I know someone who might be able to help." She tells us. I knew Lilly was unpredictable but damn, I didn't expect that she'd know someone that'd hook us up with a place to stay for a while. "Who?" Kate and I ask together.
Crest Autoworks

I knock on the metal roll up doors then hear an irritated groan coming from inside the garage. The doors roll up and on the other side stands Hutch, shaking his head at me. "Back to being a dumbass, huh?" He asks me then does a handshake we came up with when I brought my SLS for restoration. Ah shit, I forgot about the car.
"Your car's in the back, if you're wondering..." Hutch tells me as he points to the black Mercedes parked in the far right corner of the garage. Luckily it wasn't damaged from the explosion. Either that or Hutch repaired the car... again. "I'm actually here for something else..." As I say this, Kate and Lilly walk out of the corner behind me to greet the mechanic. "You've already met Lilly, right? Hutch, meet Kate, the smartest and most reliable friend you can ask for. Kate meet Hutch, best mechanic on the face of the earth." I introduce the two. "And lemme guess, Lilly's the most badass friend, right?" Hutch jokes. Lilly awkwardly smiles and shyly fiddles with her hair.
"I came to ask a tiny favor. Do you know of an inconspicuous place not too far where we can be safe for a while?" Lilly asks the mechanic. Hutch hums as he scratches the back of his head. "This is about the Swift, ain't it? Yeah, I know a place. It's in the hills, not too far from here, you can't miss it." He tells us. If we 'can't miss it', that pretty much defeats the purpose of the place being 'inconspicuous'. "I have the spare keys somewhere." Hutch states then walks over to a cupboard and starts searching. "Despite the grumpy act, Hutch is actually a chill guy." I say to the sisters.
Hutch returns with a bundle of what looked like house keys in one hand and my keys to the Mercedes-Benz SLS in the other. "Thanks." I say as I take both. As I walk to the grand tourer parked in the corner, I ask myself why the bundle had almost twenty keys. I get in the car and drive out of the garage, onto the side of the road where the agents' red GT86 was parked.
Kate and Lilly leave Hutch's shop and meet the agents and I outside. Lilly unexpectedly helps me out by going in the Toyota so Kate can ride with me. I give Lilly a thumbs up as she gets in the red car. I watch Kate entering my car like I was watching a fucking movie. I start to drive us home after she closes the door then she says something I thought I wouldn't hear about in my life ever again. "I asked Clinton for more room in the SBC a while back..." She starts. "Come on, Kate. I said I wouldn't-"
"Hear me out, just this one time. I managed to get spaces for up to twenty members, which includes prefects-"
"Even worse! You think I'll be the type of guy running around the school catching bullies and troublemakers?"
"Stop trying to be a smartass and listen!" Kate snaps at me, instantly making me shut my mouth as I drive. "Honestly, the SBC is fucking useless at the moment and Clinton really doesn't care what we do anymore. I'm suggesting turning the student council into a secret anti-CSE front made up of twenty students. We're a total of six and there are already two students I still need to get on board from school. That's already eight out of twenty members." Kate explains. I almost run a red light after hearing her plan. It sounded way too desperate and dangerous, not just for us but for the other students she's dragging in.
"One word: insanity." I tell her. Kate frowns then stares out of the window next to her. "On a different note... how are things with Lilly?" Kate asks out of nowhere as we near her house. "Stable... I think. We weren't really dating, we were just trying something. I guess we aren't gonna try that again since I ended up in a coma during the first try." I tell her. As I park the car outside her house, I ask her about Garth. Kate sucks her teeth before replying. "Stable too, I guess." She says with a nervous smile. I sigh and shake my head at her. "Let me guess, something happened between you two while I was in the hospital?" Kate nods her head and slouches into her seat. I can't say that I'm happy about this but... :D (I'm such an ass, right?)
We get out of the Mercedes and meet Lilly, Scar and Claw at the door. "Mission accomplished, can I ask you a top secret question now?" I ask to two agents. "Williams, grow the hell up." Claw says yet she laughs at my immature behavior. "We still need to see if this place even exists." Scar states. "So... roadtrip?" Lilly asks. "Of course... if that's what you want to call it." Claw says as she opens the front door even though neither of the sisters had given her the keys. Seriously, are they really spies or just professional house burglars?
I notice Kate staring at me as we drive through the boulevard up the hill. Usually, she'd catch me staring at school. "You know this is supposed to be the other way around..." I say to her. Kate accidentally knocks her head against the window after snapping out of whatever she was thinking about. "Wha-what?" She asks. "Nevermind..." I say to her and continue the drive uphill.
Kate becomes bored and fidgety during the drive. The sun's setting and I've been playing my dad's Jazz collection this whole time, so this was expected. Kate opens the glovebox that neither myself and Hutch bothered to look at while repairing the car. "Humphrey..." Kate says my name as she pulls something out from the compartment. "There's an envelope with your name on it." My name? No one's really touched the car since... fuck. I hope this isn't what I think it is. "Victor... Williams, your dad...?" She asks. 'DAMNIT!' I hear her scratching and about to tear the envelope open so I stop her before she goes any further. "We'll investigate it when we get there." I say to her. Kate moans as she slouches deeper into the seat. I didn't blame her, it was a lengthy(ish) drive and the girl had nothing to do except listen to jazz the whole way.
"Wanna here a joke?" I ask, attempting to pass time and lighten up the mood as I drive us to our destination.
15 knock-knock jokes and 7 dad jokes later...
"Why do you have to act quickly during a flood?" I ask Kate one more question. She covers the sides of her face leans against the door. "Please stop. ." Kate cringes, knowing I was gonna pull one more dad joke. "Because it's an 'emergent-sea'." I wink at her as I say this, earning a sarcastic laugh from Kate. "I'll walk from here, thanks."
"Welp, it's too late for that." I tell her as I point to a lit up mansion on the side of the hill we were currently driving towards. "This can't be the place... right?" Kate asks. "'You can't miss it, it's by the hills' Hutch said. Clearly the mechanic gave us keys to that friggin' mansion." I say to her. There were no houses or buildings nearby so that must mansion must be the one.
In less than ten minutes, we arrive at the enormous front gate of the mansion. We wait for a minute until the Toyota GT86 arrives behind us. Scar exits the car and walks to my side of the SLS AMG. I roll down the window and wave at the agent. "Is there a problem, officer?" I crack a joke at how the wolf stands at the side of my car. "Yes, absolutely, a hundred percent! What part of this fucking mansion says: 'inconspicuous'?" Scar asks as he slams his palms on the roof of the car.
"Ey, calm the hell down. You think they'd suspect three average teens to hide in an isolated mansion?" I ask him while pointing at the big ass house that's clearly way over mine, Lilly and Kate's budget combined. Scar briefly growls at me then walks back to his car. I get out of mine and approach the front gate, wondering how I'm gonna get it open. I look for some sort of security padlock or something close. "Maybe you could use the biggest key on the gate?!" Kate yells from inside the car. "Right... I knew that..."
I take out the bundle of keys from my pocket and search for the largest key. It was monumentally larger than any average key and plated in gold. I slot the biggest key into the lock in the centre of the gate and turn it anti-clockwise. The gates suprise me as they open up automatically. "Wow, that's one elaborate nice touch." I say as I walk back into the SLS. I continue cruising on the driveway with the agents following behind in the red Toyota. We reach the facade of the mansion and park the cars just outside of the garage as we were unsure if there were cars left inside.
Kate and I exit the Mercedes and the two agents and Lilly exit the GT86. The mansion was lit up so we assumed someone was probably inside. I unlock the door with one of the keys and enter the building first. I was practically blinded by the white tiles and white walls as I set foot inside the mansion. The minimalistic design was not something I expected judging from the outside of this place.
"Hands up, scoundrel." A wolf orders as he presses what felt like a double barrel shotgun against the right side of my head. The British accent caught me off guard so do nothing but snicker at him. "You've stumbled upon the wrong house, pillock and you're about to recieve a proper gentleman's welcome." The wolf tells me.
"What... ?" I ask, still bewildered by the accent. The wolf sweeps my right leg and knocks my ass onto the floor in a second. Now I was staring down both barrels of the shotgun with a fiftt-something year old wearing a butler's outfit at the trigger end. "Alfred, calm down-" I joke to try calming the wolf down but he points the weapon lower to the point that the barrels touch my chin. Claw and Scar enter the mansion holding sidearms in one hand and a badge in the other. "C.I.A, hands up!" Claw yells at the butler. Only now we finally learn what intelligence those two were working for. Central Intelligence... not what I expected but pretty cool.
The butler aims the shotgun at the agents as the two agents aim their M1911's at him. I was laying with my back on the floor as if I was in the middle of a standoff in some of action thriller. Fuck my old life in high school, this is way more thrilling. "What's intelligence doing in this manor? What are you doing with a teenager?" Alfred asks the agents. "There's three, actually." Claw unintentionally makes a reference from a movie as she says this. Lilly and Kate peek their heads through the door to see if it's safe. "Splendid..." The butler says sarcastically.
"Don't feel so bad Alfred, I'll be your new Bruce W-" I say as I get up from the floor then get stopped by the wolf in a suit nudging the shotgun against my chest. "Don't toy with me, you little snot. My name is David Hunter, servant to Carlyle Cornelius Weissman." The butler says, catching the attention of the apparent CIA agents.
"Operative Double-C Double-U? The guy that went investigating the famed 'undisclosed intelligence' agency?" Claw asks as if she was a fangirl of the mentioned agent. "Not quite as undisclosed. A select few are familiar with the acronym: S.I.M.A which is the 'now disclosed' agency he went undercover investigating. I'm sure that's where most of his rumors and legends originated. Unfortunately, I am not obligated to discuss his former affiliations." David tells the agents, emphasising on the past tense of his house master's career. I really didn't understand their spy convo until I heard 'S.I.M.A'. During my repetitive nightmare sequence where I relived my last day with my parents, my dad mentions S.I.M.A along with CSE. Definitely not a coincidence.
"What's this S.E.M.E.N, thing?" Scar asks. No one was sure if he was joking or being serious so we just ignore the question. "I've heard about S.I.M.A but it was years ago. I only realized that I knew about it in my coma."
"Wait, what exactly do you remember from that coma?" Scar quickly asks me. "Pretty much the entire afternoon when Marcus Zephyr murdered my parents in 4K UltraHD. Why?"
"Oh boy... oh fuck..." Scar mutters then covers his face with his hands. "I warned you about the side effects, dipshit." Claw says to her partner then hits him in this left arm. She turns to me with a 'I'm about to tell you something depressing or disappointing' face. "Long story short, this clown added a chemical agent into your hospital drip to speed up your recovery. You would have stayed in the hospital way longer than ten days without it. This drug has an interesting side effect when jogging up the mind in which the patient's most traumatic memory is brought back on repeat even if they've forgotten the details. We also use this as a method of interrogation, in case you're wondering." Claw explains to me, but now I kinda wish she hadn't.
"Thanks. I'm a little pissed that you drugged me and made me relive my worst memory on a loop to the point that I remember every single detail, but thanks anyway..." I say to Scar. He glares at me, unsure if I was being sincere or sarcastic. "You're taking this way too well." Claw says as she places her hand on my shoulder for comfort I didn't need. "Well, we found our new home, so-" Lilly says, accidentally triggering David the butler. He points the shotgun at her, watching her squeal as she hides behind her sister.
"What the hell do you by mean 'new home', miss? This property was never your's to begin with. GTFO, or I'll call the authorities." The british butler threatens. I roll onto the floor as I laugh at David using the term: 'GTFO' in his sentence. "Is this braindead teenager really with you lot?" David asks the two CIA agents. "Unfortunately..." Claw and Scar sigh as they say this simultaneously. "He certainly takes the 'intelligence' out of it, doesn't he?" David jokes with the pair of case officers. I lay on the floor as I catch my breath after all that laughter. "No shit..." Claw says disappointingly. I ignore his line and focus on the patterned ceiling. 'Nice craftsmanship...' I say internally as I admire the carvings on the tiles above then spot a unique pattern leading to one end of the room. I notice a similar, more detailed relief carving etched in the ceiling towards the opposite direction.
"Lilly..." I call her over as she also has some knowledge of sculptures and carvings but I doubt that what I was onto had anything to do with it. I show her the carvings on the ceiling then show her the two most detailed reliefs. "Now what's your take that this is some puzzle or hint for something?"
"No-" I immediately stop listening to her before she gives me an explanation to why she says this is all bullshit. I trail the eight o'clock ceiling design to a corner of the room as Lilly rambles. I start to search the area beneath where the the design ends for a switch or trigger because why the hell not? A butler with a shotgun in a mansion with questionable clues on the ceiling kinda makes for a cliché secret base nearby. Uh... spoiler alert.
By chance, I tap a small flower vase with my arm and notice how stiff the decoration was. The thing didn't budge from it's spot at all. I turn around to look at the vase. The soil appeared realistic, the vase itself looked almost legit if it wasn't for the unfinished white marks left on the bottom of the vase. The 'flowers' seemed way too plastic. I look back up at the pattern on the ceiling then back at the vase of flowers. A rose first, a violet and some other flower I don't know the name of. It looks like I have to jerk on these fake flowers in that order... or I'll look like an idiot.
I tug on the plastic rose then hear a click, meaning I was definitely in the ball park. David turns his attention to me after hearing that 'clicking' sound. I put my fingers around the violet's stem then gently pull on it next, making another clicking sound. "If you finish that puzzle, I'll blow your bloody skull to bits." I ignore the butler's threat and carefully pull on the final flower from the pattern.
I leave the first corner and walk in the direction if the one o'clock facing pattern on the ceiling. Claw and Scar pause their discussion and watch me as I stroll to the other corner of the room. The next puzzle was kind of obvious. It was a rotary dialing phone which was awfully out of place in this modernized mansion. I look up at the ceiling for a clue to this puzzle but all I could see were a bunch of circles and a really long seven stretching from the center of the ceiling to this corner. No, those circles are zeros. "Oh, I get it..." I say to myself then dial the first two zeros on the phone instead of all six before rotating the dialer to seven. This specific puzzle seems to be a kind of tribute to James Bond.
Everyone in the room stands quietly for two seconds then the entire fireplace across from the entrance turns 180 degrees revealing a passageway behind the wall. 'Damn right, I nailed it on the first try.' I turn my head to Lilly with a wide smirk ranging across both sides of my face. "So what were you saying earlier?" I ask her. The white-furred omega covers the side of her face as she walks past me, pretending I didn't exist. "Seriously, what did you say? I stopped listening after you said 'no'."
"Who would've thought that you out of anyone else here tonight would solve the riddles?" David asks me, still holding that shotgun in his hands. "It's instinct. Now could you please put that double barrel shottie away?" I ask him.
"Not until I'm certain that I can trust you. Who told you about this place?"
"A friend, mechanic named Hutch." I tell the butler. David lowers his shotgun then throws it onto the couch and adjusts his posture. "How may I be of service, Master Humphrey?" The butler changes his tone as he asks me. "I was informed that you would arrive some time this weekend, I didn't expect on the same day as the call." David explains to me but that didn't explain why he had a totally different personality and attitude three seconds ago. "Hold on, what? So the mechanic guy from earlier told you we were coming? How the hell does he even know you?" Kate asks David. "We are... old acquaintances." He replies. That sounded like an unsatisfactory answer to the two agents but they let it slide for now.
I walk over to the fireplace entrance that I opened up a minute ago and take a closer look at what was behind it. It looked like this mansion was built over an older one from the look of what was behind the moveable wall. There's a red carpet floor, wooden laminated walls and old portraits down the passage. "Permission to advance?" I ask Claw and Scar, who raise their brows at me. "Hey, don't look at us, ask the butler. It's his mansion." Claw responds. I turn towards David the butler and shrug my shoulders, expecting an answer. "Do as you wish..." He sighs as he tells me.
Kate and Lilly follow behind me as I take the first step into the hidden passageway. The three of us walk down the carpet, looking at the various portraits then out of nowhere, the entrance behind us closes, now becoming a dead end, wooden wall. "Great... let's just hope there's another way out of whatever we're heading into." Kate says to Lilly and I.
Narrative P.O.V.
"Why did you do that?" Claw asks the butler after he pulls a switch, sealing the entrance and possibly the only way out for the three high schoolers that entered the passage behind it. "They will have to find the exit on their own, this will buy me time to get caught up on why you're all here." David explains to the agents.
"Hehehe, not gonna lie, you did me a favor." Scar chuckles as he says this. "God, you two are awful..." Claw states while she facepalms at her partner and the butler.
Humphrey's P.O.V.
Kate, Lilly and I walked down the wide passage until we met some kind of bunker door with a spinny wheel-thing, yeah... I dunno what to call these doors, honestly. "We don't really have a choice other than moving forward." Lilly says. The three of us all put our hands on the wheel and pull it anti-clockwise. We expected it to be extremely tough to pull and we ended up falling to the left at the unnecessary force we put in to turn the wheel. "Maybe one of us should do it..." I suggest to the girls. "Good idea." They both say at the same time as they look at me with small smiles. "Wait here..." I sigh before getting up and grabbing the wheel on the door.
I rotate the wheel until I hear a loud clicking sound from the other side. "Ladies, we are in business..." I tell the sisters as I open the metal door. The first thing my eyes saw was a fucking armory on the side with all kinds of weapons and gear. I think we just found 'The Bat Cave' or something close to it. "Humphrey... what are we getting ourselves into?" Kate asks as I walk around the secret room. I see that there's an entire underground floor below through a small glass window. "Now this is some Kingsman: Secret Service-type shit..."
"Meh, feels more like Austin Powers." Lilly says as Kate walks over to a large glass case with a tuxedo inside. "Definitely Double-O Seven..." Her amber furred sister says. "Imagine we go back to school on Monday and tell everyone we found a spy's mansion. No soul on earth would believe us... except Jason, unfortunately."
"Oh yeah that reminds me, Jay got suspended for trying to frame Garth a week ago." Lilly tells me. I notice how she said 'Jay' instead of calling the enemy 'Jason'. "You called him 'Jay'? Wow, nicknames already?" I tease her. "Envious?" Lilly fires back with a grin. That took an unfortunate turn. "Woah now, don't start this again..." I tell her, referring to the 'game' that nearly ended our friendship at a restaurant and almost ended my 17 year free trial of life. "You scared that I'll one-up you again?" Lilly says with provocative intentions. "Last I checked, we were tied..." I scoff at her in my response.
"Get a room, you too." Kate jokes at mine and Lilly's interaction. I exhale from my nose and step away from Lilly. The snowy omega does the
same until we stood on completley separate sides of the room. "I guess I'll go find a way out on my own..." Kate says before walking towards the elevator. "Wait-" Lilly tries to stop her sister but she lets the doors close before Lilly gets to her. "Ouch..." I say to her. Lilly groans as she walks back to her side of the room. "Wanna hear a joke?" I ask her. "No." She responds almost instantly. "Oh..." I say dryly and almost sounding hurt. We stand awkwardly without saying a word to each other after that and wait for the elevator to return.
Narrative P.O.V.
"Alright, we told you our story. Let's hear yours." Scar says to the butler after Claw had explained their situation with the three teens and CSE. David unties his bowtie and sits at a nearby table. "Carlyle Weissman was the fourth master I had served in this mansion. I suppose I should start with the history of this humble abode?" He tells the two agents.
"Humble? It's a goddamn mansion with royal history, no doubt. How is this humble?" Scar says almost as if he was about to laugh. "He's being modest, you weiner coat." Claw tells her partner. The butler sighs and continues his story. "Weissman moved to the North before he started to research the international titan known as Classic Swift. The third house master had just succumbed to a fatal genetic illness, finally wiping about the bloodline to this land." David says. Claw flinches at the thought of an ent
"I told you this place had a royal history." Scar whispers to his partner. "Oh God, Humphrey is such an immature influence on you..." Claw responds with a facepalm. David ignores this and continues: "I was alone in this place for another two years until Carlyle wound up in the backyard. Until this day, I still haven't a clue as to how he made it here and neither did he. He needed an operations base and I needed someone to serve in this house so we came to a mutual understanding..." As David is explaining this to the agents, Kate wanders on an enormous floor built into a cave beneath the mansion. "We didn't have many extra pairs of hands so we renovated the place mostly on our own. Including a cave beneath our feet." The agents widen their eyes at what they were hearing from the butler in a tux. "You renovated a cave? You don't mean-" Claw starts.
"A bunker? You and some random guy you just met completely retrofitted a mansion, modernized it, dug out a cave and built on it all on your own?" Scar finishes his partner's question. "Mostly, but not everything." David smirks as he says this. Meanwhile in the hidden room behind the fireplace, Lilly and Humphrey inspect the gear and weapons in the area. "Honestly, I wouldn't be suprised if we found a laser pen lying around." Lilly says as she picks up a smart watch that was a disguised heartbeat sensor. "Sick..." She whispers. Humphrey finds some sort of assault rifle with magazines that could apparently be swapped with non-lethal 'candy' ammunition.
"Excuse me, but what the fuck is this gun?" Humphrey asks, suppressing his snickers. He taps the trigger once for the first time in his life and fires an edible airsoft pellet onto the table.
"Oh I forgot to mention, Carlyle Weissman has a candy fetish of sorts." David explains to Scar and Claw in the main room of the mansion. Lilly jumps around at the sound of the gunshot only to see Humphrey chewing on a blue, chalky 'bullet'.
"I'm hoping that gunshot we just heard wasn't high caliber ammunition?" Claw asks the butler. "Of course. I'm sure one of the muppets found Weissman's 'Sweet Tooth' rifle build. It's a... 'unique' non-lethal airsoft weapon ammunition that can be swapped with diabetes- I mean sweets."
"What?" The two agents thought David was joking when he explained this. In the hidden room, Lilly pulls out the magazine of the rifle in Humphrey's hands and takes a look down the cartridge. She soon exploded in laughter after confirming what she thought she saw. "This place feels like such a parody of The Bat Cave." Lilly says to Humphrey. "The Wolf's Den would be a fitting name, to be honest." Humphrey responds as the two walk to the elevator to follow Kate. He takes the rifle because... why not? A gun that can shoot candy isn't something you can casually find in a mansion.
"Carlyle was also a collector. His interests in motor vehicles were beyond me but I didn't complain." David says. Kate walks around the huge underground floor with rows of vehicles under sheets. To her it was like if Humphrey had an airplane hanger-sized garage. She lifts the sheets and finds a crimson Mercedes-Benz 300SL. She goes to the car on the left and lifts up the sheets to the point that she could recognize this car. A scarlet Pagani Huayra. 'WOW, unique tastes...' She thought as she puts the covers back on the two cars.
"I'm something of a collector myself..." Scar says, referring to his small drawer of holsters and knives. "Weissman began collecting his cars after he started investigating S.I.M.A., whatever that agency meant to him was enigmatic. He got too deep into it and never returned after that. Many are unsure if he permanently joined this agency or was captured. The mechanic claims he isn't dead because he's investigating on his own.." The butler says. "Hm, I was hoping to get some more info on Double-C Double-U's earlier career but I guess that's enough for now." Claw says, strangely biting her lower lip and Scar could see this.
Humphrey's P.O.V.
Lilly and I follow after Kate and run through the giant underground garage area. "I dunno Humphrey, I'm seeing some weird car patterns next to eachother." Lilly tells me. I nod my head in agreement. "No kidding, I'm pretty sure I saw a Lamborghini Diablo SV next to an Aston Martin DB5 back there.
We find Kate standing and waiting for us this time at the second elevator. I make the mistake of waving at her with an assault rifle in my hand ('assault rifle'), and scare her into the elevator. "Wait, it's not dangerous! Lilly and I took only the candy filled mags." I try to calm Kate down. She looked at the both of us as if we were on next-gen drugs, but I wouldn't be suprised if I actually was. That candy bullet had a weird kick to it...
"What is that? Are you telling me that gun-" I interrupt Kate before she could finish her questions. "Shoots sweets for bullets? Absolutely." I answer her with a grin before firing one more piece of chalk candy above us then catching it with my left hand. "Shakey would kill to be where I am right now." I tell the sisters as I throw the pellet into my mouth.
We all enter the elevator and press a button to get back up to the ground floor of the mansion. "So... first impressions on the Wolf's Den?" I ask Kate as we watch the underground area from the elevator. She turns towards me with a lost expression on her face. "The Wolf's Den is a name Humphrey came up with for this Bat Cave knockoff." Lilly explains to her sister. Kate sighs then rolls her eyes at me. "Of course he did..." She says with her beautiful smile.
"Don't stare, you'll look like an idiot!" Lilly whispers into my ear. I snap out of it and quickly look way from Kate. "I take it that since you both came down together to follow me, you two are neutral again?" Kate asks us. I decide to answer first before Lilly could say anything out of line. "We had an understanding and started messing around with stuff in that armory and gear room." I say to Kate while also looking at her sister, Lilly. Unfortunately the alpha noticed my weird eye contact with her sister while I was talking to her.
"Understanding, huh? You know that Lilly's slept over at your house for a total of... seven nights, right? I find it fascinating how none of you "haven't" seen eachother in your birthday suits after showering. Hey, maybe you two have seen eachother nude or even showered together before and kept it a secr-"
"WOAH, immature much?" Lilly interrupts her sister. "I'm just teasing... and being observant. No one was there to keep you from exploring eachother. Either you two are responsible young adults or you're good at keeping your secrets in a closet." Kate explains, making me wish this old elevator had an emergency stop button. Kate genuinely started to sound curious about our non-existent intimate relationship. "Are you saying this because of your sideways relationship Garth?" Lilly asks her sister. DAMN. I didn't see that coming but I also was wondering what happened between the two. Kate does some weird hand gestures before defending herself. "It isn't about him, I was just... well we-"
"Oh God... are you jealous or something?" Lilly interrupts Kate once again. While the two sisters chase eachother's tails I stand quietly in a corner of the rusty elevator, unsure of what to do.
Your crush and a really close friend are having a spat. What would you do in this situation? (P.S: Your close friend is kinda hot and actually gets you)
A: Pick the 'right' side (your crush)
B: Pick the ALSO 'right' side (your close friend)
C: Both... both is good. One was curious and the other was defending your 'not romantic' relationship.
D: Pick neither and chew them out later for being immature.
Fuck the power of boners (ironic, I know). I'm playing both sides so I always come out on top.
"Ladies, calm your tits. You're both right." I tell the sisters with a completely neutral facial expression. 'FUCK, I DIDN'T WANT TO SAY IT LIKE THAT!' My blank facial expression turned my attempt to break up their argument into a fucking joke. "Wow, hahahaha! Interesting choice of words, Humphrey..." Lilly says while laughing at me. Atleast she got off Kate's case and speaking of...
"That wasn't how I expected you'd cut in, but that works... I guess." Kate says while clenching her sides. The rusty elevator comes to screeching stop but to my ears it sounded like forced laughter. I wanted to die inside. "Let's not talk about what happened here." I say then quickly march out of the old elevator. "Right, what happens in the rusty elevator, stays in the rusty elevator..." Lilly jokes as she and her sister follow me out.
Narrative P.O.V.
"You think Humphrey and the Quinn sisters found a way out yet?" Claw asks her partner after downing a shit of scotch poured by David. "Don't worry. As much as I believe that looking after them is a pain, I got faith in those kids." Scar responds, getting an unconvinced glare from Claw. "Yeah, either that or you don't want the bother of looking for them..." She responds.
A bookshelf in the back left corner of the room rotates 90 degrees before three wolves walk out with a souvenir each from their mini-adventure. "Jesus, what the hell is that?" Claw asks Humphrey, pointing at the unrecognizable rifle in his hands. Humphrey adjusts his posture, as if he's about to make an announcement to everyone in the room. "Feast your eyes, and tongue in the... Candy-47-Something-AR!" He says as he waves the weapon around. "If I may, Carlyle named it the 'Sweet Tooth'." David tells the omega. Humphrey smiles at the respect he's receiving from the butler.
"As much as I'd like to know what the hell you three saw down there, Scar and I need to leave for tonight. You three should get settled here and we'll meet again tomorrow." Claw tells the teenagers. "You're leaving us with Alfred?" Humphrey asks, referring to the butler in the room. "DAVID!" The butler yells his name at him in a tempered fit. The agents leave the house with the three teens as they go fetch their things to move into the mansion.
"What if we could get the rest of the six here?" Lilly asks Humphrey and her sister as they walk back into the mansion. "Let's not. Atleast not until it's safe to have everyone live here." Humphrey responds.
A/N: Presto! This chapter took me an unusually long time to write with school interrupting me and whatnot, so much pain. Next chapter's a Saturday filler. Not much will be going on except for some character development and stuff going on in this new mansion.
The Lounge: WAZZUUUUH
Lilly: If you need help writing, I'll offer a hand...
Garth: Here we go again, you WON'T lay off on backseat writing, huh? Even if it's for an amateur writer.

Blazin' Blitz: Woah, hey! We don't do that here.
Humphrey: Go to horny jail.
Kate: Horny gulag is better
