"Desperate times, right?" -Chloe Frazer (Uncharted 2: Among Thieves)

Lilly: What does that mean?

Humphrey: Are you genuinely asking that or are you referring to Nathan Drake's reaction to Chloe's line?

Lilly: Both.

Nate: What does that mean?!

Blazin' Blitz: Good news, everyone!

Garth: Futurama theme intensifies.

Blazin' Blitz: On second thought, BAD NEWS EVERYONE!

Lilly: Why?

Blazin' Blitz: I'm near the climax of this chapter and I'm not too sure if I'm good enough to write action scenes.

Kate: Boo! Man up and finish up!

Humphrey: Best *climax* encouragement line I've ever heard, I'm gonna quote this. In fact, Blitz should quote this for when he finally decides to do the 'harder stuff'.

Kate: But seriously, if you're unsure just post everything until this chapter and see what the readers think of it in their reviews.

Lilly: Slight problem with that, no one really reviews Blitz's story.

Humphrey: That's because this story SUCKS! I'm kidding... maybe not...

Garth: Well... there's a reason TMELIHS has more views and reviews than AELIHS, I mean "ÆLIHS"...

Lilly: You guys are assholes, fuck y'all.

Garth: Why are you girls defending Blitz?

Blazin' Blitz: Not gonna lie, my virgin ass enjoys this attention.

Humphrey: That's sad as shit man.

Garth: What he said, mate...

Blazin' Blitz: Ah shut up, now I'm gonna write all chapters before posting.

Humphrey: That's the spirit.

Kate: How did that push you to keep going?

Garth: Attacking his self-esteem works most of the time.

Humphrey: You saw that folks, post negativity reviews and make fun of Blitz's penis so he keeps updating this story!

Blazin' Blitz: How about... no.

Desperate Times

Just to catch everyone up on this past week: first four days back at school after waking from my coma were pretty slow and the workload was shit so let's ignore that bit. Yeah, it's true that Jay wa temporarily suspended for trying get Kate in shit and will be back in mid-September. Transportation was a weird thing for awhile since I've been driving Kate and Lilly to school in the SLS AMG like the first day of this school year when I used my bicycle. Kate and Lilly had to share the passenger seat which must've been an uncomfortable ride. Aside from school, I may or may not have looked around the Wolf's Den some more and found a crate full of 'Candy-Something' ammunition sometime in the week. That Carl Weissman guy must've been the coolest spy to ever live. Anywho... this Friday was undoubtedly my best Friday and eventful so far...

Friday 04:50

Humphrey's P.O.V.

"Can you not wake me up with a certain blunt object if we're gonna be sharing a bed?" Lilly's soft voice stirs me up. "What? What object?" I ask her, totally clueless about the pointy object she's referring to. "The one between your legs, uncomfortably poking against my thighs..." She tells me. I think about it for a second then realize she's talking about my morning boner. "Fuuuck... don't describe it. You could've just said my wang was too close."

"Okay cool, now please move over." She asks me. I stare at her in confusion as I peek over her and point out at the large space she had. "Whaddya mean? This bed is huge and you have plenty of space on that end." I say to Lilly.

Conflict

In this strange and frankly immature scene, Lilly and I wanted to free up personal space by getting the other to shift over so we could get at a comfortable distance from eachother on the bed. But of course, it's never that easy...

"Humphrey, if you scooch, I'll lend you my copy of Death Stranding." Lilly tries to bargain with me without turning around to face me. "Nice try, sucka. My console was destroyed along with my house." I respond to her attempt before coming up with my own counter baragain. "But if you shift over, I'll set up another date..." I present to her my own deal. The white furred omega flips herself around to face me. "Bull." She rejects my offer. "If YOU shift over, I'll give you a point." Lilly tells me while making puppy eyes, but it's too bad since I had no such weaknesses. "Nah, if you scooch, I'll forfeit the game and say that I love you." I tell her. Her eyes brightened up and a small, warmhearted smile forms on her face. "Really?" Lilly asks me.

"No." Her smile slowly fades to a frown after I flat-out toyed with her emotions. I almost felt bad about it. Almost.

(Team Blue (3 - 3) Team Purple)

"You're such an ass." Lilly says before smacking the side of my left arm. She jumps out of our shared bed to flashbang me by turning on the lights in the room. "You're so evil, it's ten to five in the morning!" I yell at her as I cover my eyes from the brightness. Even though it was a bit early, we were gonna wake up soon anyway because we still had to go to school. Right... school. Sometimes you can forget you're just a high schooler in this place.

Lilly grabs her stuff and goes to the nearest bathroom while I race to another. Outside of our farce relationship, Lilly and I have become more competitive in basically anything we do now. From who showers first, who dresses faster, who finishes eating first, etc then to what we excel in at school which is, of course more mature. Anything in this mansion is where our immature asses go to work.

After showering, I jog back to our room with a towel wrapped tightly around my waist, feeling confident that I'm first. Part of myself keeps telling me that there's no logical reason to think that I'm fi1rst if Lilly picked a shower room that was way closer than the one I came from but I ignore that voice. I had too much hope. Had.

I open the door for exactly one second before instantly shutting it again. 'I've made a huge mistake...' I thought as I prepared for Lilly to yell at me for almost walking in on her naked. Well it wasn't "almost" since I saw atleast sixty percent of her body, so great success! "Learn to knock, dumbass!" My face felt heated after Lilly yelled at me and I most definitely deserved it. I wait at outside expecting more tongue lashings but Lilly stays quiet. I knock on the door (properly this time) and wait for an answer. "Come in, but cover your eyes. Please..." She tells me shyly on the other side of the door. I cover my eyes and with my left hand and slowly open the door with my right. Now I think back to Kate's words last week Friday. It's true, Lilly and I have a weird reaction to seeing eachother without clothes.

—————————————————

20 minutes later...

Lilly and I walk to the dinning room, keeping an unusual distance between us. We meet Kate there who probably must've either showered before us or has a bathroom connected to her room to do so. "You two are awfully quiet, what's up?" Kate asks the both of us. "Don't ask, eat your breakfast." Lilly replies to her sister as she covers her face with her hands for some reason. "Oh-kay...? Kate says, looking confused by Lilly's actions.

Lilly and I sit on opposite ends of the table and now Kate starts to get curious about our situation. "Alright, what's going on?" She asks. "Nothing..." Lilly and I reply at the same time before taking a bite from the bacon and egg breakfast David usually prepares for us every morning. However this morning tasted a little more salty. "Just an unfortunate game of peek-a-boob..." Lilly mutters. "Ay, what the fuck?" I almost choke on my bacon as I say this. "I'm sorry, peek-a-boob?" Kate asks, not yet catching onto Lilly's terrible pun. "I made a mistake after showering, so-" I start to explain then Kate interrupts me, quickly understanding where I was going. "Ha! Yeah, well that's what happens when you share a room like you're a couple (salt detected). I'm suprised this hasn't happened sooner..." She tells me. "You're not mad?" I ask Kate. "Why would I be mad? You should be wondering how Lilly feels about it..." She says before drinking from her glass juice as her eyes shift to her sister then back at me. "I'm fine, I guess... but you owe me dance tonight..." Lilly tells me.

"A... dance... ? Tonight?" I ask her as I wasn't sure exactly what she meant. Lilly rolls her eyes at me as she drinks her juice which looked kinda weird from my perspective. "We're going to CSE's event tonight, remember?" She reminds me. Oh, I totally forgot. Earlier on Monday, Gregory Van Paol announced the chosen art pieces and their artists attending the function. Of course for Lilly and I, it would be a tour of the lodge looking for things that the two CIA agents might find useful.

Humphrey's P.O.V.

So far I've recieved more attention today than the first day of the school year since everyone and their dogs saw me come to school today with an expensive car and two girls sharing a passenger seat. It was still the same energy as the first time.

I'm in art class and everyone is waiting anxiously for Mr. Van Paol to reveal the paintings and one sculpture figure covered in a black sheet. Only one wolf in the fucking grade did a sculpture and that's Cade Wallace Langley. He notice how he managed to stay modest even though it was obvious that he was chosen. "Now it's time to announce which one of you amazing fuckers won this competition..." Van Paol says to the class. We all chuckle in a low volume at the educator.

The art tutor removes the black sheet revealing Candice and Samantha's collaborated work first called 'Candy and Sweets', named after their nicknames. Next to it was mine and Lilly's shared piece 'Aimless', then Fredrick's sketch, 'Shut The Fuck Up' which was an epic title for an epic A2 sized drawing of a hooded wolf with a tapped muzzle, trashing modern military equipment. I still wonder how he even managed to submit the thing. Cade Langley's sculpture was fourth, called 'High Class Is No Class' which had an interesting meaning behind it. 'Dark Blue' was the next painting done by Princess. It was almost as abstract as mine and Lilly's work with the blue landscapes and her work looked like it had a depressing feeling to it. Next was Angelique and Walter's painting 'Blended Morals', Geoffrey's double sided painting 'The Secret Ending' which was the front of the school and what looked like a prison or guarded base mixed together, last is Avril's 'Persona', which seemed like a painting of herself with multiple personalities visible in divided fragments a cracked mirror.

"Well done to Candice and Samantha, first pick of the competition." Van Paol states. The class applauds the two best friends in the art class. "Damn, now I wish I handed in an art piece." Mooch says as he claps his hands sadly. He has a crush on both girls and usually tries his hardest to impress them. "Don't worry, you'll get them next time." Lilly reassures the larger omega. "Attention, class. If you're one of the chosen attending the event, you're kind of pressed for time to prepare because it's this Friday." He tells the class. "What the hell? Only four days to get ready for this thing? Bullshit!" Fredrick asks in disbelief. Soon, most of the class joined in on the protest.

"Calm down, we don't have to go over the top for the evening." Cade tries to reason with the angry classmates. "Says who? You, rich boy? You can literally pick a suit or something fancy whenever you want." Walter says to Cade. I look at Mooch and Lilly and shrug my shoulders before deciding to step in. "Hey, calm down everyone..." I say in the middle of the class. To my suprise, everyone actually shut up and looked at me. 'Well shit, I didn't think I'd get this far on the first try...' I thought as I observed the faces waiting impatiently for me to say something. I clear my throat as I prepare to improvise. "Cade's right, it's only for a night and knowing CSE, you probably won't need to dress too formal."

"You're just defending Cade because you've got deep pockets too. You went from a fucking bicycle, disappeared for two weeks, then came back with a Mercedes-Benz SLS Black Edition!" Fredrick yells at me. "Take your a good look at your painting and "Shut The Fuck Up", Fred. That car was in my garage for the past eight or nine years. Anyway, I'm just saying that we have enough time to sort ourselves out before then." I say to him with slight bitterness before diverting back to the topic of the dress code. "Just slap on a black semi-formal jacket, some denim jeans black sneakers, then you're all set."

Present Day

Humphrey's P.O.V.

I totally forgot that I'm the one who said we had plenty of time yet I'm prepared for fuck-all. All I could do is hope there was something to wear for tonight in this mansion.

David walks past the dining table so I decide to ask him about the clothes issue. "Alfred-" I say then get instantly shut up by a deep, angry growl. "David." I correct myself. "Are there any formal-ish clothes my size around?" I ask the butler. He smirks before nodding his head. "Whatever is the requisite occasion, Master Humphrey?" He asks, and I still can't get enough of that 'Master' title before my name. "There's this CSE thing going on tonight and Lilly and I need to look... 'presentable', but not too generic." I tell David. "Of course, I'll find suitable outfits and have them ready by noon." The butler tells Lilly and I. I hoped that there was a variety to choose from because I didn't want a bland looking outfit.

The sisters and I finish our breakfast and walk out to the garage, ready to drive to school. A red Toyota GT86 arrives at the mansion and parks in the driveway just outside the garage. Let's see what our favorite two CIA babysitters have for us. The three of us walk to the car and greet the agents. "We've brought good news and no bad news." Scar tells us without even greeting us back. "Good news is something I don't hear often... let's here it." Lilly responds to him. "Good news: we've brought you wires and surveillance tools. I know Humphrey has an espionage fetish or something, so I guess you can call yourselves covert reconnaissance operatives. If that helps inflate your egos..." Claw tells us.

"Oh, of course Humphrey and Lilly get to have all the fun this evening..." Kate says with a soft scoff. "It's only for tonight, you can sit with us while we walk them through the mission." Scar responds to her, in a not-so-assuring attempt to not have have her miss out. "Wow, we're doing 'missions' now? After this, we should definitely be able to ask you about your job as Central Intelligence agents." I say to Scar and Claw. They're both hesitant to respond to me before finally speaking out. "Fine... if you come back alive." Scar tells us. I could feel a sweat drop on the side of my forehead after hearing that bullshit. "What? How can I go to school knowing that I could die tonight if I fuck up later?" Lilly asks.

"Don't think about it now. Worry once you set foot on the lodge complex." Scar says to us in another shitty attempt at reassurance. "Like that makes me feel better..." Lilly rolls her eyes at the agents before turning around and walking back to the Mercedes. We say our goodbyes to Claw and Scar as we enter the SLS while they enter the mansion. It looked like they wanted to finally see The Wolf's Den since they haven't yet scouted the place or even checked earlier in the week to do so.

—————————————————

The hardest part about driving to school every morning with Kate and Lilly was the constant, daily issue of who had to sit on who's lap. Today it got to the point that Kate told her sister to sit on my lap while I drive, which was incredibly irresponsible and dangerous as hell. The only way we could make it to school safely was if I guided Lilly on how to drive on the fly while I controlled the gas and brakes. It was a miracle we made it to school without a scratch...

Friday 07:21

I'll never get used to parking in the school's parking lot any time soon. I always have to rush Kate and Lilly out of the car and hurry myself before a flock of fellow students run up to my car like a horde of zombies. It's been like this for the whole week and I'm sure there were others they could bother who had better cars than mine.

A black Corvette C7 screams past the lot, reminding me about her, Iris. Neither Garth or I believe that she didn't know Jay... but she hasn't been hostile to me yet (just Garth). Speaking of that orange guy, he normally hangs around the car park in the mornings. I saw his Camaro but he isn't here. "That's weird." Kate says but didn't really sound suprised. Before the three of us leave the car park and enter the school, the daily horde of zombies approaches us and I'm pretty sure there was one guy running on all four's... ugh. "Please, can't you all rush at Garth or King since they've got awesome cars?" I ask the zombies, not really expecting any responses from the group.

"Yours is different!" I hear Janice yelling from the middle of the crowd. Her flattery is welcome any day of the week. "And you're going to a fancy rich-ass business party or something tonight, how the hell did you go from being a nobody to a chad?" Candu asks. Ouch, that felt like a personal attack, I almost didn't have words to respond to that. "He's always been a somebody, not always the best somebody, but he is a somebody." Kate responds to Candu for me and her words felt like she rubbed salt into my emotional wound then patched the wound with salted bandages.

Lilly, Kate and I were pinned in the car park until the bell rang. I hate that these mornings are getting worse every day. We rush to our lockers in the main building and grab our things for our first lesson of the day.

History Class

I rush into the class like a clumsy idiot. My brain nearly flatlines after I see Janice in her seat even though she was one of the wolves who kept me held up. I stopped trying to understand how this happened and walk up to Mr. Allen to apologize. "Your tardiness is becoming a common issue, Williams..." He says as he impatiently taps his finger on the desk. "Einstein said time was relative, right? What if-" Allen stops me without even letting me come up with a witty excuse this time.

"Cut the crap and sit down." He tells me in an almost menacingly stern voice. I walk to my desk, stiff as a plank and get my books out. It felt so great sitting in my old seat again without a sociopathic Spy Kid seated in front of me or anywhere else where he could sabotage my school life. I feel a crumpled up piece of paper hit my forehead. I look in the direction the paper hit me from and find Janice with her palms together, mouthing: 'sorry'. I pick up the paper from and carefully unfold the paper, trying not to rip it since it was crumpled too roughly. "Janice throwing love letters at you, huh? Lucky fucker..." Salty says behind me. I didn't want to take his crush away from him and I doubt the piece of paper was a love note. "Calm that small head of yours, it's just a normal note." I respond to Salty as I read the note.

-'My bad, sorry for holding you up just now. Also, could you tell Sylvester to meet me outside the drama theatre during break?'

"Yo-ho-ho, looks like yee got a backstage date with yer crush. Way to go, bro." I whisper to Salty and hand him the note. "Wait, no shit?" He asks, leaving my pirate acting and my effort with the rhymes unacknowledged as he quickly grabs the note and starts reading. "You weren't kidding..." Salty whispers after reading the note and starts folding it into his pocket. Mr. Allen throws a piece of chalk right in the middle of his forehead after stuffing Janice's note. "On the topic of renowned pirates, Sylvester Altman, share a quote from any pyrate." The history teacher tells Salty. "I am a man of fortune, and I must seek my fortune..." Salty says before winking over at Janice. "Henry Avery." He concludes.

"Elaborate." The history educator says. Salty clears his throat like was getting ready to go into deep analysis mode for the quote. "He pretty much said he's a cultured man of that 'pirate booty' and he hunts for the 'pirate booty'. Kinda like if I were to say: 'I am a wolf of cushion cheeks, and I must clap those ass cheeks.' Works both ways, really." He explains to the class. Allen couldn't really complain about Salty's answer since he hit the nail on the head with that explanation, despite it fucking terrible or not very family friendly.

Next Class: Art Class

Recently, art class has become the class I look forward to the most since it's such a chill environment and a fun vibes only class. Work load was close to none since our senior syllabus was shortened and the only work we really do when there are now is just have discussions. Candice, Samantha, Lilly, Fredrick, Cade, Princess, Angelique, Walter, Geoffrey, Avril and I all formed a group at a corner in the class.

"Blue Period? More like an extended Blue Monday, right?" Geoffrey says, trying to meme Princess's German expressionistic style in her painting. "That's a shit joke, Geoff." Avril says to him. "You can't blame me, it's the first time any of us are grouped up and talking like this. Not even the top winners are talking." Geoffrey defends himself, referring to Candice, Samantha, Lilly and I and also Fredrick. "We should be talking about what we'd do tonight as a group. Not mock other's work, dumbass." Candice says to Geoff."

"It was a joke. Hakuna your tata's, Candy." He continues defending himself. It was the first time this group got together and this guy's already making enemies with the ladies. "I'm gonna pretend your existence is irrelevant." Princess says and holds her textbook in a way that blocks Geoff's face from her view. All the other girls in the circle do the same simultaneously which was admittedly fun to watch. "Way to go make yourself public enemy number one for the ladies, Geoffrey." Cade says with a chuckle. "It's an honor and a privilege..." Geoff smiles widely as he says this.

"Okay on a different note, anyone want to bet we'll meet the CEO tonight?" Fredrick asks the group. I notice Lilly shuddering at the thought of having to face Marcus Zephyr again. "That's a pipe dream. As freaky and suspicious as it is, that wolf hasn't been seen in public for awhile now or even had his name mentioned on any media. I think his name was Marcus Zimmer or something close." Avril says. "Marcus Zephyr." Both Lilly and I correct her simultaneously. Everyone else in the circle lean forward from their chairs and stare at us with suprised expressions. "Huh, do you two know something that whole WORLD doesn't know about?" Angelique asks Lilly and I.

"Maybe..." Lilly mutters. I pinch her right shoulder, causing her to yelp cutely in front of everyone. "Maybe we'll tell you tonight, because a certain SOMEONE (staring intently at Lilly), can't keep her mouth shut." I say to the group. "Sorry..." Lilly whispers as she rubs her arm. "It's fine but now now we gotta explain stuff to Kate and-" I stop myself just as I realize there were nine wolves around me who didn't know Lilly and I were kind of working for CIA agents. "-Kate and... two of her friends." Lilly finishes for me. "Now we're even." She whispers into my ear. My eyes widen in shock at how unfair that was. "No, we're fucking not!" I whisper back. Lilly smiles devilishly at me before leaning over to whisper something back to me. "Yeah, you're right. You still owe me a dance tonight..." Damn, I fell right into that one.

(Team Blue (3 - 4) Team Purple)

"Sucka..." Lilly says to me with that damned smirk.

—————————————————

Afterschool...

Lilly, Kate, Reba, Shakey, Garth and I met up at the car park, ready to say our goodbyes and go home. That was until Garth asked something that changed my entire mood for the rest of my afternoon. "How many rooms are there in that mansion you moved to?"

One: No one mentioned the fucking mansion during break, now Sam and Reba were lost.

Two: Why was he even asking that?

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! What mansion are you talking about?" Shakey asks. "Good question, wanna answer that, Garth?" Lilly says as she turns to her sister's boyfriend. I look towards Garth too, looking for answers to why the fuck he would ask that. It quickly became obvious that the bastard wanted to move in too. "That's a funny story..." Garth laughs nervously as he scratches his head. He had one job, just to transport Kate home and not say a word about the mansion in front of anyone other than Lilly and I. Shit, now I actually sound like a douche come to think of it. "Wait, you four hid the fact that you moved to a fucking mansion?" Reba asks, causing even more friction in the group. "It was for everyone's safety. Well, at least I thought it was..." I try to justify our reasons, making it way, WAY worse.

"Fuck what you thought! I hope you have fun at your party, knowing we lost trust in you!" Shakey yells at me. Oh, it's popped off now. I just pissed off one my closest friends and his girlfriend. Shakey and Reba walk to their car and without turning back to say goodbye. Lilly and I had nothing to say as Kate enters the orange and black striped Camaro with Garth. I unlock the Mercedes-Benz and open the passenger seat gullwing door for Lilly as she enters the car. It was almost instinctive even though neither of is were in a mood. I close the door for her then walk around, ignoring the staring students as I enter the driver's seat.

The long drive home was a sad and unnervingly quiet one. I played no songs, Lilly suggested none. I made no jokes, Lilly asked for none. It got to the point where we could almost hear eachother's thoughts or at least read them through our facial expressions and gestures. I wasn't sure if this was great or terrible for our psychological health.

After the thirty minute drive home, I decide to try to start a talk between Lilly and I as we exit the car in the garage. "Did we make a mistake?" I ask her, knowing it wasn't the best way to start but it was something to work on. "Without a doubt..." She sighs as she responds. We soon here Garth pull up just outside the garage and moments later, he opens the trunk and unloads two suitcases. TWO. He had the intention of moving since the very beginning.

"That son of a bi-" I quickly stop Lilly from saying something she'd probably regret. "Don't. We'll let David handle him..." I say to her with a wink and a smile. She smiles back and nudges my arm as we walk to the front door of the mansion. I open the doors and let her walk in first. "After you." I say, once again playing the gentlemen role. She rolls her eyes before walking in. I knew she liked it and so I didn't react to her. I close the door behind us and together, we quickly made our way to the living room and wait for David to arrive.

His timing was impeccable. The butler, almost as if he knew our plan (and agreed to go along with it) greets us and reminds us that our outfits for tonight are ready as he passes through the living room and made his way towards the room at the entrance just as Kate enters the building with her boyfriend. "It's going down..." I say to Lilly beside me. David pulls out a Glock 22 and cocks the weapon. "State your business." He says as he aims the gun at Garth. "Hello." Garth greets stiffly but he wasn't actually afraid of the gun. He seemed more cautious of the wolf at the trigger-end of it. "What-is-up, wolf with a surely licensed firearm? My legal name is Garth Julius Richards. How are you feeling this afternoon?"

His middle name is Julius...

Lilly smacks her head on the table then screams laughing out loud at how rigid and robotic Garth sounded. Dude must've been sweating bullets if he sounded the way he did. "Put the damn gun down, David. He's with us." Kate says to the butler. "Wonderful, another teenager to baby sit..." David sighs before sliding the weapon into a hidden shoulder holster under his black suit jacket. Kate turns towards us with an unimpressed look on her face. "What?" Lilly and I ask her innocently. Kate shakes her head and walks away, guiding Garth to the bedrooms in the mansion. Lilly and I get up and go our rooms/room aswell to see the outfits David picked out for us.

—————————————————

I know I asked David for a little variety and something that didn't look too generic and atleast presentable, but... THEY WERE ALL SUITS. I must admit he did pick some sick suits that stood out like a sea blue suit with gold trimmings and cufflinks and a lavender three piece suit that looked like it was straight out of Saints Row. Nothing was a mix of formal and casual so I had to pick wealthy looking suit and the last time I wore one a similar one, things literally blew up in my face. Recipe for success, I guess.

Friday 18:05

Narrative P.O.V

Humphrey walks out of the room in a suit that was nearly an exact copy of the first suit he wore. A dark grey suit only this time with cobalt accents and an dark blue tie. Lilly walks out of the room across from his with a cream white white cocktail dress, white heels and a white leather handbag as an accessory. "You don't look different from that first date night." Lilly says to Humphrey. "Oh wow, I didn't know we were competing!" He responds sarcastically to the wolf in all white.

(Team Blue (4 - 4) Team Purple)

"That point's only because I pity you." Lilly says as she glides down the hallway in her heels. "Yeah, of course it was." Humphrey says as he watches Lilly walking ahead of him. The two formally dressed teens arrive in the living and are met with Kate, Garth and the two agents. "Damn, a bit much don'tcha think?" Garth asks the two omegas. "They're perfect." Scar, Claw and David say together at same time. Scar unlocks a case of equipment and sticks a small microphone attached to a wire just underneath Humphrey's collar. He then hands both Lilly and Humphrey a set of earpieces. "This is real shit. Did you two even get training or practice?" Garth asks the two wolves. Humphrey slowly shakes his side side to side as a response. Garth places an index finger on his lip as he slowly nods his head. "I see... so you're definitely fucked tonight..." He says.

"Not on our watch." Claw says as she pins an object resembling a button on Humphrey's and Lilly's collars. "This is a hidden camera, you'll be our eyes in there since it's an invitational function. Make sure you two stick together when bugging the main building. We'll need extra surveillance once you leave the lodge." Claw explains, showing the two wolves a second case of small cameras the size of slightly larger marbles. "This is so cool, how do these spherical camera's work?" Lilly asks the agents. "It's kinda like shopping mall surveillance camera's but better in every way. The entire outer layer streams omnidirectional footage to our laptops for as long as the camera's batteries last. Scar will guide you two while I sync with the camera feeds." Claw further elaborates. "Now you know who the tech wiz is." Scar jokes as he closes the case. "What will we be doing while they do James Bond shit?" Garth asks the agents. "You'll be with us, walking Williams and Snow through their objectives."

"Damn, that's not fun at all..." Kate mumbles. "It's time to roll out. We're taking you two to school in our car." Claw says to Lilly and Humphrey as she and her partner walk to the front doors of the large house. "Automegas, load up and roll out!" Humphrey says into his microphone then mimics a transformation sound effect. "Never, ever, EVER say that again!" Lilly says, almost crying while laughing at how cringeworthy his line was.

—————————————————

35 minutes later... (damn, this chapter's gonna burn me out, I'm such a lazy writer)

Humphrey's P.O.V.

After testing if our mic's were operational for the seventh time, we finally arrive back at school. "Here we are. Now both of you, take nine cameras each." Claw says as she hands us the case. Lilly grabs and stuffs nine marble-cameras into her white leather handbag while I take my snine and drop them in the breast pocket inside my suit jacket. "There's a dummy-proof trigger that activates these devices. Use the pins Claw stuffed in the handbag and plug in your earpieces because this is where we split up." Scar says as he pulls up at the front gate of Jasper High. Lilly and I do as the agent says and attach our earpieces. "Good luck. Don't get caught." Scar tells us then unlocks the rear doors for us. Lilly and I say goodbye to the two agents, hopefully not for the last time as we exit their Toyota GT86.

Garth in his orange Camaro, along with Kate drive off behind the red Toyota. "What the fuck are you wearing?!" Fredrick yells behind Lilly and I. Apparently we were the last ones here because Fred, along with the other eight winners were already here standing in a group at the gate. "Didn't you say you didn't need to go full-fancy for tonight earlier this week? What happened to semi-formal?" Geoffrey asks me. "I didn't have semi-formal clothing now shut-th'fuck-up..." I say to him quickly. Cade chuckles at my 'passive-aggressive' response. He, the wealthiest among us, was actually wearing what I suggested to the group. A semi-formal suit jacket, a plain white Tee, casual denim jeans and black sneakers. "Well, well, well. How the turntables..." Samantha jokes at the irony of Cade Langley and I.

Moments later, a black limousine arrives and at first, no one believed this was our transport to CSE HQ. "This is not ours. No shot on earth is this for us..." Princess says. Right after, a wolf in a black tux with red accents exits the car and opens the doors for us. "Well don't mind if I do!" Walter yells happily as he enters the limousine without giving it a second thought. The rest of us follow after him and sit on the comfortable red leather seats. "Now this is onrrhella year to be in high school..." Candice says as she takes a glass of champagne. "Our parents can't say shit about it even if they find out." Samantha says, joining her best friend in a toast.

(Opposite Of Adults - Chiddy Bang)

Lilly shrugs as she takes her own glass and drinks after Candy and Sweets. 'Ah fuck it...' I thought before taking my glass of bubbly and being the first among The Bois to drink inside the party limo.

Ayo, I once was a kid

All I had was a dream

More money, more problems

When I get it, I'mma pile it up

Half witted fun eventually joined the game as soon as everyone decided to play "Never Have I Ever" on the ride to the inner city. I think it's suffice to say everyone will go home tonight learning three or four dirty facts about eachother...

Now I'm dope

Wonderbread, we can toast

So fresh, how we flow

Everybody got their style from us

If Claw and Scar were watching Lilly and my feed, they'd probably drink themselves to sleep to forget this evening because now teenager should be having as much fun as the eleven of us in the back of this limo. When we arrived at the lodge, everyone memed the fuck out of how heavy the security was that we weren't afraid of the rifles one of the guards were carrying. There was one huge building in the center of this campus lit up like the fucking Avengers tower and boy did it feel good to be dropped off right at the entrance like a celebrity.

Ayo, I once was a kid

With the other little kids

Now I'm rippin' up shows and them fans goin' wild with us

Tell mommy I'm sorry

This life is a party

I'm never growin' up!

Lights, cameras, wolves in suits. This evening was definitely the best in my fucking life. The main lobby looked huge enough to be a ballroom and what was ahead was the reason 11 high school students were brought to this formal occasion in a limo provided by the business hosting this event. Everyone split up and began doing their own thing after entered the main event area. I decided to talk to a waitress since there was nothing else to do but get drunk and talk to older wolves.

Remember you was a kid-

"-HUMPHREY!-" I get vibe-checked by Scar screaming through the earpiece. "Yes, angry voice in my ear, I hear ya." I say outloud but luckily the other nine students aside from Lilly actually heard that in this loud hall. "-You aren't here to have 'fun', you're here to survey the building and locate any assets of interest if possible or POI's!-" Scar continues to yell inside my ear. "Don't scream, I can hear everything on the other end just fine!" I yell into my collar, now getting noticed by Cade and Avril. "Bro, we only had two glasses of champagne, are you alright?" Cade asks me. I laugh nervously as I try to think of an excuse. "He's a little weak to alcohol." Lilly tells Avril and Langley. She then turns to me with one of the most evil looking smiles on earth. "Yeah... I can't even drink... beer." I struggle to play along with her excuse because I felt a bit weak inside saying that.

"Don't feel embarrassed, I probably wouldn't be able to walk if I had two more glasses." Cade confesses. Now both Lilly and I felt bad because we accidentally tricked the poor guy into telling us this. "Hm, we got some time on our hands so let's split and enjoy ourselves until this event kicks off. Alright?" Lilly says and nudges my arm. "Ye-yeah, right. Let's find some stuff to do." I stutter almost forgetting we had a job to do for the second time tonight. Lilly drags me off by my arm to a vacant corner away from any curious ears that might catch on to us.

"Okay, I'm gonna be frank with you, this party blows." Lilly tells me. "You don't say? Everyone else besides our classmates are in their early 30's, 40's, 50's and freaking 60's..." I say to her, cringing at that one old guy I caught checking the girls out earlier. "-Wow, what a change in attitude you two. Just 20 minutes ago, you and your friends were partying your asses off in that limo and I'm pretty sure I heard you flirting with a waitress at some point-" I hear Claw speaking in my earpiece. "What? You jealous?" I ask while smiling wildly, knowing I barked up the wrong tree. "-One: don't even, Humphrey. I'm ten years older than you. Two: do your fucking jobs already and plant those bugs!-" Claw exclaims that even Lilly flinches at her raving voice. I've come to acknowledge the fact that I'm talented at making CIA agents yell into their comms when I'm in their channel. "Where should we even start?" Lilly asks as we cautiously roam the exhibition area.

"-I need some coverage on the upper floors of the main building more than anywhere else so I suggest you start there, try the ninth or twelfth floors-" Claw tells us. I look around for any staircases or elevators but I find security personnel guarding near all of them. "Huh, that's gonna be a pain in our asses. I'm pretty sure we're going to need some sort of security clearance to get past some of these guards." I tell Claw through my mic. "-Then go find clearance-" Scar orders us before muting her mic. Lilly rolls her eyes at the based spy's actions. "That's 'SO' insightful..." She says sarcastically.

Narrative P.O.V.

Outside the large business complex secured by tall walls, two cars are parked on an out of service parking lot. Sitting cross legged on the the hood of a red Toyota GT86, Claw irritably rests her head in her palms as she waits impatiently, staring at a blank laptop screen. "If they fuck up in there, Gravestone will have our asses hanged on his office wall..." She mumbles, sparking interests in Garth and Kate who were standing against the orange ZL1.

"Gravestone? That cannot be his real name." Garth says to the female agent while also fearing the fact that it might be her handler's real name. Scar chuckles loudly inside the GT86. "Of course not. It's a TAC name or callsign like 'Claw' and 'Scar'." He tells the ginger alpha as he views Humphrey's hidden camera feed from his own laptop in the car. "This is fun... I'm having so much fun right now..." Kate mumbles as she lazily leans over the railing of the parking lot, watching the tall, brightly lit tower in the centre of the complex. "-Oh shit...-" Scar hears Lilly curse over her mic. "What? What's wrong?" Scar asks, quickly switching to Lilly's hidden camera footage. "-I just saw Xavier. Remember that tall, jacked wolf I told you about the first time I was here?-" She says just as Scar also spots the large grey wolf in a black and red suit walking around the floor through her camera feed. "Yeah... this might be a good thing..." He states as he rests a finger on his chin while he thinks of a plan.

"-Good thing? Excuse me, do you have a plan to go along with that 'good thing'? I almost died getting chased by that monster around an office floor-" Scar facepalms at Lilly's response. "Xavier is Marcus Zephyr's personal bodyguard or right hand guy, right? I'm willing to bet that if Xavier's here, Swift's CEO is probably nearby, maybe even in the same r-" He tries telling her but gets cut of by Humphrey on his end. "-Oh fuck!-" Scar hears him exclaim through his microphone. "What now?!" He asks, quickly getting tired of playing the babysitter for the two omegas. "-Ain't it past your bed time, little dog?-" Xavier says in a deep and raspy voice, fully audible through Humphrey's mic. Scar knew there were one of two ways this is going in Humphrey's case, so he slouches into the car seat and prays for the best case scenario. "-Aren't you a little too old for your prom suit?-" He hears Humphrey say to the hostile wolf. Claw slowly turns around on the hood of the car to face her partner with her left hand muffling her snickering.

In the tower's main floor, Xavier stares down at Humphrey being his usual calm and comedic character. "You sure you picked the right profession? I'm sure you'd have been a better fit as B.T.B, big guy." Humphrey says to Xavier. The larger wolf growls angrily at him, almost as if he was about pounce at his neck. "Don't like it, maybe a wrestler or MMA fighter?" He continues provoking Xavier. Lilly covers her face in her palms as she stands isolated from the crowd. "You're a dead dog walking, kid. How 'bout I make it official righ here and now..." Xavier says to Humphrey as he unsheaths his ominously stained combat knife. The unusually brawny wolf stops where he stands after a device hidden under his collar beeps. "Tsk, step off dog. Get on the bad side of MZ tonight and you'll leave this building in a bodybag..." Xavier states before walking away from the teen in a grey suit. Humphrey finally exhales after Xavier was out of sight.

"-Hey kid, you still alive?-" Scar asks Humphrey. The teen sighs before replying to the agent over his wired mic. "I'm pretty sure he just threatened to kill me..." Humphrey says, minimally traumatized while pressing down on the earpiece in his right ear. Scar audibly facepalms through the piece as he witnesses Humphrey's terrible gesture through Lilly's camera. "-Don't touch your ear like that, you look like an idiot-" He tells Humphrey, causing Lilly to snicker in her corner. "Tsk, you look like an idiot..." Humphrey mutters immaturely. "-I heard that-" Scar says to Humphrey. "Yeah, I was counting on it." Humphrey says back, learning from Lilly who noticed this and walks up to him to playfully nudge at his arm.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen." A voice echoes from the speakers inside the large building on every floor. It's that old, whithering voice that both Humphrey and Lilly knew all too well. Classical Mozart's Lacrimosa music plays as most of the lights on the floor's ceiling and the rest focus on the stage set up on the back wall with black cloth covering 7 canvases and a statue against the wall. "It's the big reveal alright, but still, what could they be revealing that needs high schoolers to create some mediocre artworks?" Lilly asks her partner. "We're about to find out..." Humphrey responds to her. "Wait... mediocre?" He asks her all white dressed partner after realizing she called their own work a mediocre art piece.

Everyone on the floor is silent as Marcus Zephyr slowly walks onto the stage with his cane. It's as if the guests are witnessing a myth in the flesh. "He's real... HE'S REAL!" Fredrick yells from in the middle of the crowd closest to the stage. "Yes, I'm very real, young lad. And very old." The old wolf chuckles lightly as he says this. "I am alive and kicking and yes, I haven't been seen out in the eyes of the public for awhile, eh well 'public' eyes. I've been around outside these walls, just not where this timer could be easily recognized." Marcus says, openingly admitting that he walks the earth like a normal person. "What a pig..." Lilly says as she watches the old, ash black furred wolf with bitterness in her eyes. "I know, and it bothers me how no one said anything about Zephyr being at that one restaurant. You can't honestly say no one recognized his old face in there, not to mention looking his fucking tab." Humphrey's responds to his partner.

"Tonight's a very special night... if you haven't figured that out already, what are your butts doing here? Alright fun aside, I've decided to make my first 'open' appearance a more exciting one..." Marcus Zephyr pauses after building up the anticipation within the audience. "...with this!" The old wolf finishes just as panels on the walls of the inner sides of the building shift apart, revealing television screens. 'Well that's... elaborate.' Lilly thought as she studied the system closest to her. The screens turn on, revealing an imagined image of Jasper High as a technical institution under Classic Swift. "Here at Swift, our goal is to improve on what others cannot and solve what the government will not. A few of you may have already heard about the recent and stealthy renovation of Jasper High School, but now we've decided to take that small upgrade two steps further..."

"Hearing this guy talking so much is awfully repulsive..." Lilly mutters to herself. The guests chatter amongst themselves, discussing the high school's renovation that more than half of them weren't even aware about. "I've received outstanding reports about the school, regardless of it's past issues. What intrigued me most about the student reports was their ethic... work ethic. They learn, they work and they actually do well at it."

'Oh, because that's how school works...' Humphrey rolls his eyes as he says this internally. Lilly and Humphrey seem to be the only ones in the building who acknowledge the fact that the CEO is stalling the 'big reveal' by stating apart from the obvious, a few random facts. "I've invited eleven students to showcase their art pieces from school. I'll have you know, I'm something of an enthusiast of artistic sorts myself. Notice particularly at how there are eleven winners and eight winning works. Teamwork. Team-work." As Zephyr concludes, the mounted LED lights on the center focus on the eleven students as though they were tracking their whereabouts on the main floor. "Again, this is elaborate, granted it is kind of cool and convenient..." Lilly says as she walks towards the stage, followed by the rest of the Jasper High students.

The eleven students stand on the mini stage next to the head of CSE. Humphrey barely manages to hold a calm and neutral face while standing so close to the devil of his past for the second time. The old wolf approaches each student to shake their hand. Lilly and Humphrey were next after Candice and Samantha. "Welcome Williams and 'Snow', I had a feeling I'd see you both tonight. In fact, I've been counting on it." Marcus Zephyr says to the two. "Huh..." Cade Langley says inquisitively as he catches on to his two classmates acquaintance with the elder enterprise boss. He remembers how accurately the two corrected Avril's mispronunciation of the CEO's name earlier today and how grim they both sounded as they said it. Cade decides not to say anything and shakes the boss's hand after he strangely greets Humphrey and Lilly. After welcoming Frederick, Avril, Angelique, Walter, Princess and Geoffrey to the stage, Xavier walks up to the stage and removes the black cloth covering the canvas boards hanged on the wall and a sculpture standing between the seven framed works.

Marcus turns on his mic before speaking to the audience ahead. "Samantha Kylie Caliburn and Candice Herron , Humphrey Victor Williams and Lillian Violet Snow, Fredrick Benjamin, Cade Wallace Langley, Princess Charlotte Kellie, Walter Bishop and Angelique June Hartley, Geoffrey Grant, Avril Jarrell." He says the names of the students before points to their individual works. "Apart from just this work, can you imagine how much more this youth can achieve with the backing of our enterprise? We're partnering with not only schools from today forward..."

"Ambition! In time this company will have a role in every sector of the corporate world and it starts today with the youth, next the tertiary institutions then rest of the industrial scene!" The old wolf exclaims, nearly running out of breath.

"Hang on a sec, did he just say what I think he said?" Candice whispers quietly to her friend, Samantha. "Probably. He sounds like a totally mad corprate villain in real life. I hope he doesn't turn kids into corporate rats..." She replies. Marcus announces his plans to involve his company with major sectors of the economic industry, shocking the audience in such a way that that they had gaping facial expressions as they had no words to react with. "Sir, isn't that a bit... much?" Cade cautiously asks the founder of CS. Marcus turns around, giving the teen an old, toothy smile. "Haha! This youngster just asked a great question. Is it much?" He repeats Cade's question to the guests. "Yeah, kinda!" A wolf answers with her hand raised high above the crowd. "If it isn't miss Frazier, if you're working on a news cover-" Marcus is cut off the reporter in the scarlet dress.

"I'm off the record... it's for my own interests." Veronica says to the CEO. "I'll take your word for it, lassie." Zephyr says while expertly masking his annoyance of the reporter's presence on the main floor. "Excuse me, back to Mr. Langley's query: no. No, there is no such thing as too much or going too far. Limits are made to be broken, don't hold yourselves down under the restraints of morals and fairness..." He tells everyone before looking at the students behind him. "Competition is meant to be conquered. That's why you're all here, yes?" Marcus says while focus particularly at Humphrey.

Humphrey knew exactly why he looked at him while referring to conquering competitors. Marcus intended to stir up the hate within Humphrey, aware that his words were one of his last that he said to his father before murdering him in front of the young omega. Unfortunately, it was working. Humphrey starts breathing uncontrollably after having a memory flash in his head of the old wolf in front of him shooting his father in the chest. "Calmdown, calmdown, calmdown!" Lilly quickly whispers to her partner who is almost ready to snap the elder wolf's neck. Humphrey finally starts controlling his breathing but still keeps the hateful expression.

"Go enjoy yourselves tonight, we've got CS-Energy drinks on the house. I hear wolves your age guzzle those drinks like tomorrow is a fabled myth." Marcus says, chuckling as he dismisses the eleven wolves from the stage. "I don't think I can stay here any longer than I have to, especially if I'm gonna see that bastard again." Humphrey says to Lilly as they walk back to the corner they previously met at. "-Once you place the cameras we told you to, you can extract as soon as you're ready-" Claw responds to Humphrey through his earpiece. "Yeah, as if the six guards with guns will let us stroll up the main building..." He says sarcastically. "-Listen here you little shit, there isn't much Scar and I can do besides watch over you through the hidden cameras. The best we can do is pick up on what you miss through your feed. Get creative and figure something out-"

"Can you atleast give us tips and tricks on how to get past the guards?" Lilly asks Scar. "-A spy tutorial, of course...-" Humphrey could hear Scar smiling as he says this. "Yeah... a spy mission gameplay walkthrough with full commentary... please?" He asks politely. Lilly looks at him with a dumbfounded look on her face. "Really?" She asks him. Humphrey comically shrugs his shoulders then waits for his watcher's instructions. "-First phase: survey security in the area. You already did this but double-check. There could be a new rotation of CS guards or tougher enforcements on duty-" Scar tells the two partners.

Humphrey and Lilly both take four minutes each to walk around the floor and see if there were any changes in the number of security or position. Humphrey sighs before reporting back to Scar that two more security guards were now guarding the elevators. Now there were two wolves at each elevator making it impossible for the them to sneak in when just a single one gets distracted. "-There are two routes to tackling this. One of you should be a distraction or diversion to let the other use either an elevator or sneak up the staircases. The other approach may take some time and patience but it'll allow you both to bug the upper floors together, ultimately making up for lost time. Find a guard who may convieniently be shit at their job then try to distract or play your way past them. Inevitably, however, you will have to split up to install the bugs around the rest of the complex to save time and reduce the risk of getting caught-" Scar gives a lengthy explanation to the teens. Lilly looks at Humphrey with a trusting expression. She already had the first option in mind even before Scar gave the idea to divert and seperate.

"I'll start a fuss with the two guards at the elevator on the right, just be quick and stealth your way behind them." Lilly says to Humphrey who honestly doesn't trust her judgment. "This isn't a game or movie, y'know. I can't just 'stealth' my way around them while you 'make a fuss' without leverage. We need an actual plan this time. Fool-proof so that you draw both of them away and make sure they don't turn back." He responds. Lilly folds her arms as she thinks of a way to lead the guards away from the elevator. "I've got a better idea. Marcus was definitely expecting us tonight and you said that day he brought you here, he wanted you and I to come here right? What if we oblige that old ass just this once so he can basically do whatever he wants th s while we secretly rig his lodge?" Humphrey suggests to his partner but he wasn't that serious about the idea. Lilly rolls her eyes at his plan before responding. "You're literally asking to fail our mission."

"-No no, he's got a point. It's risky, we don't know what his obsession is with you two but it could be an easier and more direct approach to access the rest of the area-" Scar says through Lilly and Humphrey's earpieces. "So now we're that desperate?" Humphrey asks his partner in an all white, formally dressed attire. "Desperate times, right?" Lilly says, smirking as she walks towards the elevator with Humphrey. As they approach, they find the guards alread in an altercation with a familiar and well known face. "Isn't that the reporter and article writer we saw earlier?" Lilly asks. Humphrey nods his head, remembering the face he woke up to that was on television the night Kate's parents died. Veronica Frazier tries negotiating with the guards but they loudly decline. One of the guards reports directly to Marcus Zephyr, falsely stating that the news reporter was forcing her way to the elevator. The CEO gives them the order to force her out of the building but not to kill her. The two guards acknowledge the CEO's orders. Fortunately for Humphrey and Lilly, both guards make the mistake of escorting Veronica Frazier out together instead of having one watch the elevator.

"That's convenient though it's a damn shame that reporter had to take one for us." Lilly says as she quickly calls for the elevator. "Yeah, I think she was trying to do what we're doing too, sad." Humphrey shakes his head side to side as he says this. The elevator doors slide open and the two teens scurry into the uniquely sized elevator.

Meanwhile outside the complex... (I fell asleep while writing this bit TBH)

Claw finally jumps off the bonnet of her car to stretch her stiff legs as she's been sitting with them crossed for just seven minutes short of an hour now. "Scar, I was hoping they'd take a different approach. A much less risky one." She says to her partner sitting in the car. "They picked their own way since it was right in their face. Atleast Snow and Williams can help eachother out while they're in there." Scar responds as he leans into his seat, staring at the tall building ahead. Claw walks to the passenger side door of the Toyota to face Scar directly. "They're just teenagers. This isn't exactly a normal thing for ordinary wolves their age to be doing on a Friday night." She says, looking over at Garth and Kate talking about a future of them doing the same thing as the two agents.

"Kids these days do way worse shit on nights just like this. And besides, this isn't your usual batch of ordinary teens either..." Scar says to his partner. The concern Claw has for Lilly and Humphrey was now obnoxiously obvious and Scar could almost feel how much his partner regrets sending the the two omegas in. "I didn't know you cared that much." He attempts at teasing Claw but only brings back the tougher and aggressive side of her. "Shut that asshole you call a mouth up." Claw says before moving away from Scar's side of the car.

"Heh, atleast we got along for over 24 hours for once..." He says to himself in the car. 'I see this as an absolute win.

Humphrey's P.O.V.

Lilly and I reach the seventh floor and I immediately regret hitting that floor button. This office floor... isn't an office floor. It seemed empty so Lilly and I carefully walked out and looked around The incredibly clean red carpet floor and black plastered walls were designed so sleekly, I'd say say I'm in a bad guy's lair with taste. The office cubicles were so spacious, neat and detailed but there was something off about this place but I don't know what... yet.

Fly me to the moon

And let me play among the stars

"I thought office jobs couldn't look this classy..." Lilly says as she enters one cubicle. I follow her inside as she starts investigating. I see her pick up a desk name plate (which was weird considering the cubicle closes off the desk from all angles to see the name from outside) and analyzes it.

Let me see what spring is like

On Jupiter and Mars

In other words...

Hold my hands

I hum to the tune of the song playing in the office as I also start looking around some random person's office. "Look." Lilly says as she shows me a removable triangle shaped prismatic piece from the center of the name plate. She shakes the desk plate and a small key falls out it's carved out place. "Sorry Mr. 'Dylan T. McShagg', we're gonna need this." Lilly says as she takes the key. I silently and guilty laugh at the guy's unfortunate name.

In other words...

Darling kiss me

Lilly accidentally drops the trianglular shaped piece on the floor as she turns around. It lands on one of it's coners and weirdly bounces under the desk. I bend down on one knee to look for the piece then conveniently spot a keyhole under the desk. I hand her the wooden piece and ask her for the key. She passes me the key and I carefully insert it into the lock and turn it anti-clockwise three times before it unlocks a... thingy. A box shaped drawer drops unexpectedly beside me. "Augh!" It startles me into banging my head under the desk.

Fill my heart with song

And let me sing forevermore

"Are you alright under there?" Lilly looks under the desk and finds me rubbing my head. "Yeah, this thing just dropped outta nowhere..." I answer her as I peek into the box. Placed comfortably and safely in black memory foam, lies a sickly designed black and red phoenix-styled Deagle. "Hey, what the Kentucky-Fried-fuck is this doing here?" I ask as I show Lilly the box with a side arm inside. She pales for a moment after seeing the gun and stumbled around like she was going to collapse. I quickly hold the box up under the desk and lock it back in it's place before coming up to assist Lilly.

You are all I long for

All I worship and adore

In other words...

Please be true

"Are you feeling alright? I can go grab a cup of water from the dispenser, I'm sure no one would mind a missing cup since the-" I start rambling then Lilly stops me. "I-I'm fine, I'm fine. It's just... nothing. I'm okay." She very obviously lies. This smart snowball unfortunately wasn't great at lying to her friends. I'll let it slide for now just so I can ask her about it later when I get the chance. We try other cubicles and find that they all had a secret weapon box that drops under their desks. The most insane thing I've seen tonight was probably that one cubicle that had a stash of four hand grenades. This makes me wonder: just what the hell is this business doing when they aren't doing administrative tasks or some other typical business stuff? Preparing for a war or some shit? I can imagine local police and tactical officers busting into this place one day and the employees whip out their weapons and fight back, that'd be nuts and also a cursed thing to witness.

In other words...

I love you

Scar and Claw guide us as Lilly and I place one marble-camera each on the floor. We use the pins from my partner's handbag to turn these things on. It looked kind of futuristic and I actually started to doubt that Central Intelligence actually had this type of technology. These little things look like they're from atleast 2039. After diagonally bugging the room we entered the elevator and went up to the thirteenth floor.

Claw and Scar didn't want us to go to the top floor where the CEO's office likely was so we went up to the ninth floor instead. This floor had a whole different feeling to it. I didn't think that server rooms could be this high in a building, unless there were other servers underground or around the complex. It wasn't just a server room though, it also looked a little bit more like a control center of some sort. Lilly and I walk out of the elevator then we hear someone else walking around. We weren't alone on this floor but honestly, what did we expect? It's not like the rest of the thirteen-story building would be vacant if there's a function on the first floor.

"-Split and work around them. You two aren't combat experienced enough to take on a guard that's likely trained to kill. Proceed with caution and avoid confrontation-"

"It's a little too late to 'avoid' anything. They know someone's here." I whisper into my collar.

"This floor is off limits to unauthorized guests! Your are given a countdown from ten to show yourself and your pass or else I'll resort to forceful intervention!"

"Ten second countdown? Forceful intervention? He isn't a security guard, he's a generic villain's goon." Lilly whispers while carfully peaking around a server case.

Fly me to the moon

"Ten!" The guard starts counting down as he begins searching the floor.

And let me play among the stars

"Well, it was nice knowing you, snowball." I say to Lilly as a joke but it kinda whooshed over her head. "If this is how we die, I want you to know that I'd probably be the first to forfeit our dating game...'

Let me see what spring is like...

"Nine!"

On Jupiter and Mars

"I was kidding, Lilly." I tell her, causing her face to turn beet red at her embarrassment. This must've been the fifth time this happened to her and I honestly don't feel bad.

"Eight!"

"I know this isn't a spy movie or anything like that but I'm sure we can get out out of this. It's just one guy." I say, trying to get her to move past the awkward moment that just happened to her.

"Seven!"

I sometimes forget that my teasing often ends with Lilly revealing something personal. "You lost the right to call me nicknames... asshole..." Lilly covers her embarrassed face as she says to me.

In other words...

Hold my hand

"Six!"

"-You two are fucking around as you're being compromised! Focus up and move, just fucking move!-" Scar yells at us. "Quiet, I have a plan." No, I really I didn't... unless planning to have a plan counts as having an actual plan.

"Five!" The guard sounded closer to the pillar Lilly and I were sitting against.

In other words...

Darling, kiss me

"Four!"

"Alright, I'll be honest: I don't have a plan." I tell Lilly but she didn't seem suprised at all. "Okay, what else is new?" She says sarcastically.

"Three!"

Fill my heart with song

And let me sing forevermore

"This song slaps in a weird way while we're doing spy work, y'know. We should make it our theme song." I joke to lighten up the mood but my partner didn't buy this one.

"Two!" The guard was walking down an idle that was heading straight down to where Lilly and I slowly stand up and get ready to make our move. If he turns to his right, we'll surely be finished.

You are all I long for

All I worship and adore

In other words...

"Alright, NOW I have a plan..." I whisper again but this time, I have it partially thought out.

Please be true!

"One-!" The guard immediately turns to his right which was majorly inconvenient for me. "W-wa-wai-wait-wait-wait-wait!" I frantically stumble on a single word as I raise my hands at the guy.

In other words...

I love you...

He actually stopped for a second giving me a second to come up with something to catch him off-guard. "Gangnam Style!" I yell as I dance in front of the security guard.

In other words...

"Wha-" I take the opportunity while he was confused and kick him right between his legs before he could react.

I love you!

The guard drops his rifle and falls onto the floor, clenching his scrambled eggs. Lilly runs up to him and snatches the walkie-talkie off his waist. I grab the painfully immobilized wolf's rifle and hit the back of his head with the butt of the rifle. "Auuwgh!" The guard yells, now suffering pain from my testicular slaughter and getting hit with the rifle butt against his skull. I expected him to get knocked out in one hit like in movies and games so I tried again... and again until he stopped groaning but could still breath.

Lilly and I stood still on the floor for a whole minute in silence, processing what I just did and how we managed to get away with it. "-Oh-okay, I guess that's fine, I guess. That works too-" Scar says, just as suprised as us suprised at what happened. "-Gangnam Style? Really?-" This time I finally hear Kate speaking on the line. I'm just as happy as I am embarrassed that Kate saw that. "It was a viral video I saw once... plus it was the only thing I could think of at the time." I say in my defense. "Of course that's what you thought of..." Lilly says sarcastically as she rolls her eyes at me. I swear her eyes might fall out soon if she continues doing this. "Well... 'desperate times', right?" I joke, quoting her words from earlier.

"-Prowler 6-1 to Roppa 2, check-in Roppa-" We here a voice talking through the unconscious guards walkie-talkie. Lilly passes me the thing and we wait for second to confirm it was for us. "Say something!" Lilly whispers. I flick the mic on switch then try to mimic the original guard's voice. "Arhem, this is Roppa 2, checking in." Lilly gives me a thumbs up at my performance. "-Roppa 2, VIP wants all security in the main tower on alert. The boss suspects two of the JHS guests are investigating the off limit areas unsupervised. Check and clear situation at your post-"

"Everything's... normal on my end..." I say to the voice on the other end of the radio. Lilly's thumbs up slowly turns to a thumbs down as I continue speaking. "How are you?" I accidentally ask out loud. Lilly gawks and facepalms at my HIGHLY intelligent question that just escaped past my lips while my face blanks as I reflect on how badly I just fucked that up. "-Honestly...-" The guard starts, causing Lilly and I to flinch as we think we just got called out. "-Things could be better on the campus. Not much I can do besides point the way for lost guests, tonight. Can't wait to get back home to the misses after my shift-" The guard on the radio tells me before muting or switching channels, not really sure how walkie-talkies work especially CSE's radios.

"-There's no way you got away with this for the second time. You'd make an exceptionally awful field agent-" Scar 'compliments' my ability to wing through most challenges. "Thanks... wait-" I pause after understanding what the case officer actually said. "Smooth brain." Lilly scoffs at me.

The two of us set up four of our hidden camera's on the corners of this strange floor since it surely looked like CSE did shady work with all these servers and with more possibly nearby. "Let's get out of here, we're gonna need to check out the rest of this place next after one more floor." I say as I start walking back to the elevator. That's when I realized company was at our doorstep. The elevator was recalled so someone's definitely looking for us now and they're surely on their way. I could feel the danger as I heard the elevator approach theninth floor. I quickly make my way back around one of the giant servers with Lilly as we prepare.

Ding

The elevator doors slide open and with the heavy footsteps leaving the elevator, also came the boss music. "Alright you little dogs. You should've beat ass while you had the chance, now I'll break your backs..." We hear Xavier say around the computer tower. "Okay, so now I can call him "Bane" just for that line." I pull another joke. "Can't you take anything seriously?" Lilly asks."Bummer..." I respond, earning a toxic finger from her.

"-Lilly's clearly the more sensible one out of the two-" Scar picks sides with my partner. "-Humphrey knows how to have fun and get the job done through comical talent-" Claw responds, favoring me over Lilly. I honestly didn't think I'd see the day come. The agents bicker over their favorites as Lilly and I split up and hide from Xavier. "-Looks like we grew on our handlers-" Lilly whispers through her microphone. "Oh yeah, tell me about it." I sincker quietly at the image of Claw and Scar as the older versions of Lilly and I. "I can hear you, there's no point whispering." Xavier snarls as he says this.

"It's an inside joke so it's none of your damn business!" I yell to intentionally provoke the larger wolf searching for us. "I will kill you and I will break you!"

"Unless you can somehow revive me just to hurt me some more, I don't think that particular order works, big guy." I say to Xavier. "Stop provoking the angry big bad wolf!" Lilly jokes. 'Well look at this hypocrite. Now who isn't taking shit seriously?' I thought before realizing what she meant to do. Since we were now split up, Xavier could only chase one of us at a time. Given his incredibly short temper, we could have some fun playing Pac-Man with the big guy, but he's got infinite power pellet mode. Lilly gets up and starts running through the maze of CSE data servers, in an attempt to get Xavier to chase her.

"-What the hell are you doing?-" Scar asks us. "Lilly's luring Xavier into a cat and mouse game. I guess she's trying to buy me time get to the elevator." I answer in her stead as I make my way to same elevator as before. "-Oh no, no, no. Not the elevator again-" Scar tells me just as I just reach the doors. "-You two lost the element of suprise now that the biggest and highest profile guard is on your ass. Don't forget that either the two security guards have returned to the main floor or a new rotation is in position. Avoid unnecessary risks and take the stairs-" He explains. Now the issue of the large wolf hellbent on breaking our backs for some reason surfaces. While Scar and I try to figure that out, Lilly continues running around the floor, leading her pursuer in a one-sided chase.

Lilly's P.O.V.

"Look Mr. X, I'm willing to call this a draw, since we're so 'evenly' matched. I got the endurance and you have the motivation to chase me to the ends of the universe, so let's walk out and forget-"

"You talk a lot for a piece of fuckable meat." Xavier says, interrupting my attempt to strike up a truce between us. "Noted..." I mutter at Xavier's freakish insult (and/or threat?) as I sneakily activate one of Claw's advanced stealth cameras then leave it behind a between two server towers in view of what seemed to me like the main computer for the entire floor. "-That's five cameras activated on a single floor, you won't have enough to cover the rest of the complex-" Claw tells me. I slide under the nearest table to hide from Zephyr's personal guard to speak to Claw. "I'm sure this specific floor has to have something big behind it with all these servers so high in the building and only one large computer in the center of it all." I whisper then peak out of the side of the desk.

Xavier was standing right next to the desk but he had trouble finding me... which was odd but I wasn't complaining. It looked like the large wolf had a terrible sense of smell. He surely would have caught me by now if it was as strong as it should've been. I hold my breath and wait for him to pass so I could meet up with Humphrey. I remember that Scar mentioned something about stairs while I was being chased so I guess taking the elevator isn't part of the plan anymore. I crouch out of the table and quietly move to the doors leading to the stairwell.

"Great, I lost a dog and his bitch. Marcus is going to pull this off my salary..." I hear Xavier complain as he pops his fingers in frustration. As I close the doors, he turns around and notices me escaping. "Your ass is grass!" Xavier yells and runs towards the doors. I quickly shut them then flip all the locks to hold him off, well atleast for now anyway. I quickly turn around and accidentally tackle someone down a lot of stairs in a blur of grey and blue. The rolling was so disorienting but admittedly fun. It's a shame my dress suffered from the ride though. "DAMNIT, HUMPHREY!" I exclaim as I dust myself off and grab my accessory bag off the floor. "You fucking bumped into me this time, don't blame me for being tackled down FIFTEEN steps by you." Humphrey rolls his injured shoulder as he says this. What he said was true though, usually he's the one knocking me over around corners.

We hear a loud crash above us and notice a few nuts and bolts raining down the well. Humphrey and I look up to see Xavier charging down the stairs after us. This guy's physical strength is extraordinary if he could casually ram through locked doors the way he just did. We start running down the spiraling well. "I'm taking back what I said about you... you're not Bane, you're the motherfucking Rhino." Humphrey says as we run for our lives from the unnaturally large wolf chasing us. "Way to go from DC comic references to Marvel..." I say sarcastically. Xavier slowly gains on us down the well so Humphrey and I strangely simultaneously come up with the most desperate attempt to widen the gap between us and Mr. X. That name's unfortunately growing in me.

We jump down the center of the spiraling stairwell and land about an entire floor below. Our landing damaged the structure just enough for it to be noticeable. "We can not do that again..." I say after catching my breath. We get back to running down the seemingly infinite stairwell with Xavier still chasing us although being way behind us.

Narrative P.O.V. (zzZZZ)

"Can we talk about how insane that jump was?" Garth after seeing the leap through Lilly's camera perspective. "No." Scar and Claw answer in sync. "They're living a fucking 007 movie while we watch in their perspective, this isn't fun!" Kate complains outloud.

"-So you'd rather be chased through this building by a jacked up, sociopathic wolf who throws questionable insults at females like 'fuckable meat'?-" Lilly asks. "Yes... no..." Kate answers without giving it much thought, not that she needed to. "-I don't think... we'll be able to finish our spy tutorial mission tonight. This Xavier guy... doesn't let up...-" Humphrey manages to say between heavy breaths while running down the stairs. Scar groans in frustration before closing the so called 'mission'. "You're short on stealth surveillance cameras, and you're essentially wanted by all the guards on off-limit areas. That's a wrap for this disastrous night."

"-Mission failed, we won't get 'em next time-" Humphrey jokes, giving the agent depression atop his frustration.

Humphrey's P.O.V.

Jokes aside, we probably aren't gonna get a second chance at something like this any time soon... or ever. Failure was literally sitting in our laps and wiggling around. Lilly and I finally make it down to the second floor where we could see the main floor below through a glass tube down the spiraling stairwell. "That was great cardio, wouldn't you agree?" I ask Lilly who hadn't even broken a sweat. Damn, was she athletic... "It was 'moderate'." She says to me. We stand for a second to hear heavy footsteps closing in above us. "Welp, we can try to lose him in there." I suggest as I point to the door leading to the building's kitchen. "You can't be serious..." Lilly says and yeah, I wasn't serious but there was one guard below us at the bottom of the stairs. It was either getting caught and probably killed by the guard for investigating their most classified floors or getting caught and killed for exploring the kitchen. Unless their cuisine is so damn special that only a select few can witness their recipes or get taken out.

We enter the kitchen and find only three kitchen staff working inside. How convenient. Now all we have to do is quickly sneak our way through the kitchen and escape through the door leading to main floor. I move up first and guide Lilly to the column of counters ahead of us. We wait for the wolf washing his set off dishes to finish up drying then deliver them back to his. As soon as he picks up a stack of plates and walks the second counter from the wall on the right. "Come on..." I whisper to Lilly as I motion my left hand forward for her to follow. We quickly move up to the dishwashingbmachines but we didn't see a second guy walking in with more dishes. "We gotta clean these next few dishes before the cooks get back." He says just before he turns left to set the next stack of plates and glasses. "Uh-!" The wolf pauses when he sees Lilly and I crouched next to the dishwasher's counter.

He accidentally knocks over a plate and wine glass but luckily I was in a position to easily catch them as they drop into my hands. The three of us stay frozen and stare at eachother awkwardly for a long eight seconds. What could've possibly went through this guy's head seeing two teens dressed in (sorta) untidy formal wear, crouched next to a counter in a kitchen. I shrug my shoulders with the dish and glass in my hands as I reflect on tonight's events. 'Yeah... I'm so not cut out for this stealth crap. This is fun and all but but I should live the rest of my final year without any spying tasks or sneaking marble-cameras into buildings.'

"Sshhh... we don't want any trouble sir..." Lilly whispers to the wolf in front of us then points to the dishes I'm still holding onto. "And neither do you." She concludes with a not-so-threatening threat. The wolf quickly nods his heanand steps aside for us. I carefully place the plate and wine glass into the dishwasher before walking around the shocked wolf with Lilly. We reach the doors and just before we leave, we see Xavier enter the kitchen from stair case entrance. Lilly closes the door, hopefully before the big guy saw us leave. The two of us jog down the stairs down to the main floor and look for the students we arrived with earlier tonight.

"-Are you two seriously looking for your classmates? I thought you wanted to leave ASAP-" Scar asks us. "Yeah but we need to make sure they're alright." Lilly responds. "-Marcus Zephyr made it clear he only wanted to see you two tonight. We don't know why but you probably don't want to find out either. Exit the building and head to the front gate, Claw and I will meet you there-"

Lilly and I acknowledge this and start walking out of the building the same way we walked in. "You aren't supposed to be here, you know..." We hear a familiar and scornful voice say behind us as we walk down the steps to the tarmac. I stop at the second last step and turn around to face Jason Jericho. "It's been awhile dude and I don't miss having you sabotage my life. If you don't mind, we have places to be other than this fun't party. " I tell him. "Right... and I don't miss your annoying quips either, dweeb." Jason says to me. I raise an eyebrow at the incredibly irrelevant insult he tried chucking at me.

"Dweeb? Fucking hell, how old are you? No one says that anymore..." I say with a slight chuckle. "You two radiate the same dumbass energy sometimes." Lilly facepalms at Jason Jericho and I. "And that's why you love me..." I try my luck in attempting to catch Lilly off-guard this one time. "No." She instantly denies it. "Nailed i- wait... what?" Guess I shouldn't have counted my chickens just yet. "I'm not falling for that bullshit again." Lilly tells me before pinching my arm.

(Team Blue (4 - 5) Team Purple)

"Leaving so soon?" Great, now another wolf I didn't need to see. Now it seemed Lilly and I had to keep our original task active. Marcus Zephyr approaches us with two other personal guards we haven't seen before. Xavier was still probably looking for us in the building on a wild goose chase. "Miss Snow, I wanted to congratulate you for passing the little test from the last time we met." Marcus says to my partner. I turn my head to face Lilly and saw how unimpressed she was with the older wolf. "'Little test'? You shot at me with a lethal gun." She says, rolling her eyes at Marcus. "I missed intentionally." The CEO justifies his obviously insane actions. "You forced me to jump through the window from the fourth floor." Lilly states, now pointing at the newly replaced window at the side of the main building. "Xavier didn't push you out, I didn't push you out. You CHOSE to jump out of the building. I didn't expect you'd survive the fall but here you are. You're just like my granddaughter, Ms. Snow."

The more Marcus mentions his 'granddaughter' the more I think of Iris. There are physical resemblances between the two in their fur color and that's about it. The fact that he says Lilly reminds him of his granddaughter doesn't lead me to think of anyone otherwise, now it's time to do the math and put two and two together. Lilly's quippy, Iris's quippy. Lilly's awful at lying, Iris is 'okay' at lying. Lilly's smart and so is Iris. Yep, that checks out, but I still haven't seen the action side of Iris. Now I shouldn't be suprised when I find out Iris is related to Marcus Zephyr in some kind of dramatic plot twist. "What do you want from us exactly?"

"You two're special, much like Jay. I can't reveal anything to you just yet since you need to be evaluated too, Williams. Expect challenges in your school in the coming days and once you've overcome them, only then can you and Snow come back to the lodge. You may now be on your way." Marcus says before walking back into the building with his two guards. I didn't notice it earlier but the smaller guard had 'McShag' on his tag pinned to his suit. I control my immature nature and realize that he must be the guy who's cubicle Lilly and I found the Desert Eagle in. How can one of his personal guards be working an office job anyway? Does he just call random employees to protect him for an hour or something?

Lilly and I start walking to the front gate then discuss what the fuck just happened tonight. "There's no way I thought Marcus Zephyr just gave us some kind of quest, right?" I ask Lilly. She looks at me with a serious expression as we walk but after every step she took, a smile starts to appear then eventually Lilly laughs at the joke. "'Once you have overcome these challenges, only then can you return to the lodge and claim your reward.' Yeah, right." She says. "Oh man, I can't wait to fall asleep in bed knowing I brutalized a guard earlier." I say sarcastically. Lilly stops walking in her and looks at me like I'm a psychopath. "What's wrong with you?" She asks me. "I was being SARCASTIC. Why are my jokes going over your head tonight?"

"Oh I dunno, maybe it's because you have a SHITTY sense of humor?" Maybe she was right. It was kinda primitive to dance in front of the the guard then sack his eggs unexpectedly, not to mention smacking his head four times until he was knocked out... hang on a second... "Lilly, we gotta go, now." I tell Lilly after realizing how deep we just stepped in shit. "So you finally realized that you screwed up royal by leaving that guy unconscious..." Lilly suprises me as she suggests that she already knew the trouble we're in for injuring and KO'ing a guard. The two of us hurry past the front gate only to be stopped by one final security guard.

"Hey!" Lilly and I freeze at the thundering tone of the voice calling behind us. 'And just when we're about to get away with it too...' We slowly turn around, ready to raise our hands to surrender. "You dropped your earring, miss..." The guard says, pointing to Lilly's gemstone accessory on the tarmac surface. Lilly touches around her left ear then notices that she'd dropped it. She walks back to the gate to pick up her lost earing. "Thank you so much, sir." She says to the guard. "No problem, have a good evening ma'am." He tips off his CS Security cap as he says this. We find Scar and Claw's GT86 along with Garth's ZL1 1LE parked down the street, past some luxury super cars and exotic cars.

"I trust you both had fun tonight?" Claw asks us. "Of course, mom. My second run-in with Marcus's guard dog, Xavier, was quite pleasant. We even played a game of tag, undefeated champion by the way..." Lilly says as she jumps to the backseat. "I hope you played nice with your new friend, kiddo." Claw plays along with Lilly's joke about us being a family. "We're a family now?" Scar and I ask together. "Dominic Toretto approves." Lilly responds while I hop into the back after her. "We should leave the area before they start looking for two teens wanted for assaulting a guard." I tell the agents. "What the hell do you mean 'two'?" Lilly asks me, jokingly but she wasn't wrong either.

"Although you didn't cover the requisite P.O.I's, you still did a great job." Scar endorses us. "We were really lucky tonight. Like 'Fast and Furious plot armour' lucky. We could've been caught the second we entered the elevator." Lilly tells the agents. "Yeah well, left the building alive. Plus there's the thing about Marcus's quest- I mean challenge or task. He wants to play some twisted game with us and as a reward we learn... something." I state. "We'll discuss everything once we get back to the mansion. We'll also discuss your reward for not dying." Claw tells Lilly and I. "Yay." We sarcastically celebrate in the back seats.

A/N: It's 2022, POG. These past two years have undoubtedly been challenging but we've made it this far, right? I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloweens/Thanksgivings/Christmas and New Years!

Sorry I haven't fone anything during that time, I've become a really slow writer :(

The Lounge:

Exessive Use Of Tired Spy Tropes And Memes (suprise for readers into Warframe)

Garth: How long did you originally want to make this chapter?

Blazin' Blitz: Yes.

Lilly: Right, we can see that...

Humphrey: The references in this chapter though...

Garth: I swear it was two or three references from competing with Ready Player One references.

Kate: And the way Blitz didn't even try to hide spoiling the Iris (SPOILER) reveal. (Yes, I censored a spoiler's spoiler...) Anyone who read TMELIHS far enough knows where this is going.

Blazin' Blitz: My goals are beyond your understanding.

Garth: Like you haven't made that Reverse Flash reference a hundred times already...

Blazin' Blitz: Shut.

Humphrey: gAnGnAm sTyLe!!! (kicks Blitz between his legs) (dances over him)

Garth: That's what you get for making cringe references.

Lilly: The OG video was funny though...

Kate: It stopped being funny when Blitz memed it this chapter.

Loki Prime: It wasn't a meme, it was a reference. They are not the same.

Hutch: Who... what is that?

Garth, Lilly, Humphrey and Kate: We weren't expecting special forces.

Excalibur Umbra: That's the point sergeant...

(Warframe's New War update releases as we chat)

(Damn, I should have posted this A WHILE AGO, this was on the 15th of December, sorry)

Lilly: Start a warframe fic to celebrate this amazing day.

Humphrey: It's been EXACTLY 12 MONTHS since Blitz mentioned starting a Warframe story. He'll never do it.

Blazin' Blitz: Challenge accepted. (posts only three chapters of AELIHS to work on Warframe prologue chapter)

Mesa Prime: Space Ninjas/Space Pirates/Space Thicc Waifus are taking over this joint.

Caliban: Sentient gang FTW.

Revenant: You took everything from me!

Caliban: I don't even know who you are.

Kate: The way The Lounge got filled with random warframes out of nowhere is beyond me...

Mirage: 'Tis not the question of reality or what is possible, but boundries and restraints within imagination, if plausible.

Garth: WTF?

Lilly: (has PTSD from Mirage's Hidden Messages quest) The riddles... the rhymes... the nightmares... they're back...

Humphrey: Mirage means to say... I don't fucking know, that shit made no sense.
