It's one he has read a thousand times but always seems to excite him. He reads and reads untill the book is nearly to an end, and he stops to take in the scents of Asgard. He is sitting in a small gazebo a ways from the palace and mostly left alone in the forests. /span/p

Thor strides into view, his long hair tied back into a low braid. "Brother you must come see what the Avengers have been up to." Thor says, his face amused. /span/p

"Don't you have duties as king?" Thor hesitates, but then shakes his head. "It'll be quick. Just come with me brother. Please?" Loki can see the hope grow in his brother's eyes. "Fine." He follows Thor through the forest and to the Bifrost, which does not take very long to traverse as they had received horses. Throughout the walk Thor has been repeatedly assuring his brother how amusing it is, and he seems unusually excited. /span/p

How they fight and it seems like such a big deal?" Thor asks, but Loki can hardly hear him. His eyes are locked on those of a man with brown hair that reaches his chin and hazel eyes. A man with a face Loki thought he would never see again. "Isn't it amusing brother? How their petty rivalries seem so important to them?"/span/p
p class="MsoNormal"span style="font-size: 17.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: Quicksand;"span style="mso-tab-count: 1;" /spanThor's words are distant, and Loki's gaze is locked on that of a man with long brown hair and hazel eyes. He seems unsure but willing to fight. His face is so familiar, so painfully familiar. Grief twists Loki's heart and he sucks in a pained breath.
