Jayden's P.O.V.:

I was sitting on the ground still beaten and bruised from the battle with that nighlock and Dekker, who I didn't expect. Why in the world must he always barge in? I was also battling whether or not to slip out of conciseness or stay in, but I was dizzy, I didn't know what to think. As my blurriness continued, I heard the voices of Mia, Kevin, and Antonio call for me. "JAYDEN," they screamed running over and seeing me in my state. "Are you okay," Emily asked coming over. "What happened," Kevin wondered. "I'm fine guys. No need to be concerned for me," I admitted. "No. We are concerned for you amigo. Come on guys, help me lift him up so we can get back to the Shiba house and heal him," Antonio told the others as they slowly helped me off the ground and began to walk out the gate. Before we did that, I heard the voice a girl who landed on the ground gracefully. The others gasped and turned to see the figure that stood near them as I was still dizzy. Antonio has his arm around me helping to walk. I turned with them and looked to see the female red Ranger of the Samurai before us.

"Whoever you are, stay away from Jayden," Kevin thundered in defense mode. "No. I won't stay away, and you should not worry. I'm not here to harm him," the ranger told him. "If you're not here to harm him, then what do you want," Mike asked. "I want to see him please," she pleaded. "Show us who you are first then we'll go from there," Antonio told her. "Of course," she answered before powering down from her suit to reveal the girl standing there. The girl was fair faced and had blonde hair in a ponytail. She also had a striped long sleeve shirt on underneath a blazer with the cuffs rolled up and shorts over the leggings along with a pair of combat boots. "What's going on here," Mia asked bewildered and confused. "Laure is that you," I asked speechless. "Hi Jay, it's me," she smiled before running up to me. She looked at me with sweet tenderness as she placed her hand on my cheek. "I missed you," I breathed. "I missed you too. Have you heard anything about dad," she wondered. "He went missing and no nothing yet," I told her. "I know. I miss so much just as I have missed you" she admitted in hugging me. I soon winced at the hug. "Oh. Sorry Jay," she told me stepping back. "It's okay. My ribs hurt a little bit so can you hug not as tight," I asked. "Sure," she smiled and hugged me gently. "Uh, not to be rude here but who are you," Mike asked Kimmy.

"Guys, this is Lauren, my sister," I started to tell them. "What," they asked out loud and stunned. "You never mentioned to us a sister," Mike said stunned. "It was for reas," I started to say before questions came roaring out of their mouths. "Why have you come now," Emily asked confused. "Why weren't you with Jayden," Kevin wondered. "Let's not drown her with questions guys but start small with Lauren, welcome to the Samurai Rangers. I'm," Mia started to say. "Amelia Wantabe. I know who all of you are. I'm thrilled to meet you all. My uncle has told me everything about you guys and how you keep protecting the world. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and reuniting with my brother again," she smiled. I nodded but soon heard the roar of a lion, loud and clear as day. "Do you guys hear that," I asked. "No what should've we heard bro," Mike asked. "The roar of a," I said but felt lightheaded and lost consciousness.

Kimmy's P.O.V.:

"Jayden," the others noticed and came over. "We better get back to the Shiba house and get him healed," Kevin told the others as I followed behind looking at Jayden. "It's okay Jayden, I'm here," I whispered as we walked to the main gate of the Shiba house. It's amazing to see it again since its been a while when I was last here with Jayden. The starkness, the simple things just brought back many memories. "Mentor," Emily called out as I saw Uncle Ji come out of the house. "What happened to Jayden," he asked us running over. "He got badly bruised by one of the Nighlock and Dekker during the battle then fainted after hearing a lion roar," Kevin reported. "Get him into his room and I'll prepare healing tea. Great work Rangers," he told them as they went inside with Jayden and I stayed outside with Uncle Ji. "Uncle Ji," I said giving him the Samurai bow. "Kimmy," he greeted me with a bow and smile. "Hi. It's nice to see you again Uncle," I smiled hugging him. "Welcome home Kimmy it's nice to see you again as well. I apologize if I couldn't greet you at the airport and things were like this," he apologized. "No need to worry Uncle. It was for a reason I know," I told him. "Yes. Come, walk with me Kimmy," he said as we walked into the house and over to the kitchen. "How is Angelica? I hadn't seen her since the last get together," he asked starting to make tea for Jayden. "She's very well and misses you just as the rest of the family does. Including Lauren," I said to him sitting on a stool in the kitchen. "I know. She sent me a letter a few weeks ago wondering about her dad and big brother. She still misses them to death," he admitted. "She does. Oh, before I forget, she asked me to send you this," I said pulling a picture out of my jacket pocket. It was a recent picture of Lauren from school picture week and she looks amazing. "Aw. My niece," he smiled looking at the photo. "Yep. Grownup and beautiful," I smiled. "Sure is," he agreed. "Um, uncle just out of curiosity has Jayden told them the real secret yet? You know the royal secret," I asked.

"No; but I'm afraid the time to know is nearly upon us. They have to know the truth," he answered making the tea. "Agreed, I know Jayden vowed to Uncle Stephen, well his dad in this case to keep it secret until the time is right," I admitted. "Excuse me mentor, Lauren," Emily called stepping into the kitchen. "Yes, Emily what is it," Ji asked her. "Jayden has regained consciousness and woke up. He's asking for Lauren," she told us. "Ah thanks Emily. I'll have Lauren to go seen him along with the tea. You and the Rangers must rest for a bit," he told her. "Thank you, Mentor," she smiled and soon left. "They seem like a nice bunch," I smiled. "Yeah, they are but go Kimmy. Be with Jayden. He needs his cousin," he told me. "Thanks Uncle and I know it's time," I smiled before getting the tea and soon walking over to Jayden's room.

Jayden's P.O.V.:

I sat up in bed perfectly comfy thanks to the others putting me in along with mentor, well uncle. Thank goodness for them. In my head, I knew that soon or later, I have to tell them the truth on why I'm here; but they're my team and I can't lose my trust on them on now. I soon heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I called and saw Kimmy open the door with some tea. "Hey Jayden," she smiled. "Hey Kimmy," I grinned. "Uncle made tea for you, and he told me to spend some time with you since it's been a while," she told me placing the tea near my bed. "Thanks. I can actually use the company right about now," I smiled and soon drank some tea. "You know Uncle was telling me a little bit on how well you've been fighting so far along with your teammates. I'm proud of you," she told me with a grin. "Thanks, but you really helped the team when I couldn't, so thank you," I smiled. "No problem cousin," she embraced me. "How are you doing otherwise," I asked her. "Doing well. Honestly been with the family and Aunt Angelica before I left to come here. Everyone still wonders about you," she explained.

"Including, no I can't say that," I admitted. "Is something wrong Jayden," she asked looking at me. "Uh no; but can you do me a favor Kimmy," I asked. "Sure, what for," she wondered. "Can you get my shirt and go into the front lapel pocket? I need you to take something out for me," I asked as she found the shirt with the thing I asked for. She took out the folded piece of paper that I placed in the pocket, and I opened it to reveal a photo of me, Lauren (as a baby sitting on dad's lap), and dad. It was taken a few days after Lauren came home from the hospital with mom and dad. I smiled looking at the picture missing my little sister. "You still miss Lauren," she wondered. "Yeah," I smiled before feeling a little bit of tears streaming down my face. "Jayden, it's okay," Kimmy said hugging me. "I miss her so much and I wish I could go back to see her. I hope she's okay," I admitted through the tears. "She is. I spoke with her at the last family get together before I arrived," Kimmy admitted.

"You did," I asked. "Uh huh. She misses you and wonders if you'll be found and still wears the necklace you gave her as a promise. She hasn't gave up hope," Kimmy told me. I smiled knowing she was okay. "I miss you Lauren," I whispered to the picture in my hand. "By the way, were you okay earlier? I know you said you heard the roar of a lion before passing out," she asked. "Yes, um I'm okay. But that lion roar I knew so well," I admitted. "You did," she pondered. "Yeah, and when I opened my eyes, I was in a meadow and Aslan was there waiting for me," I explained. "Aslan? The king of Narnia," she quizzed. "Yes, he told me not to fear anything for the time has come," I explained. "Time for what," she asked. "Time to tell the others the truth on why I was brought here and Lauren's real secret," I sighed.

"I had a feeling this day would come Jayden and your right. They have to know the truth of the secrets we kept; it's time," Kimmy sighed in agreement. "You think so," I asked. "I know so," she answered with a hug. "Thanks Kimmy," I smiled.

(Outside Jayden's Room)

Kevin's P.O.V.:

"Why is Jayden calling Lauren Kimmy," Mike asked dumbfounded hearing outside the door. "I don't know maybe it's a code name," Mia answered. "But more importantly, why was he mentioning another secret? We don't keep secrets do we," Emily asked. "Your right Emily but he must have a good reason and honestly we need the truth," I admitted. "Well, why don't we barge in there and have him explain," Mike said walking to the door. "Mike, no! We don't want to do that, it'll seem to him were confronting him and we don't confront other Rangers," I told him. "Fine," he huffed. "But what do we now," Emily asked. "Mia, Kevin, Mike, Emily, Antonio, what are you guys doing out here? Jayden needs his rest," Mentor said coming to us. We turned to see him walking to Jayden's room.

"Were sorry Mentor but we," Mia started to apologize. "We were going to go in and check in on him, but he started to call Lauren, Kimmy just as we were about to knock," Antonio explained. "Ah," he smiled. "Afterwards he mentioned something about it's time and a secret," I piped up. "Did he forget to tell us something," Emily asked. "Rangers. I know you have questions and to tell you the truth Jayden has kept another secret from you guys but it was for good reason," he told us. "Just when we thought all secrets were done," Mike muttered before we stared at him. "What," he asked offended. "It's time you know the truth. Come with me to the main room and I'll tell everything," he smiled before walking over to the family room and we followed sitting on the sofa. "So, is Lauren, Kimmy or is Kimmy Lauren," I asked Mentor.

Mentor's P.O.V.:

"To tell you the truth Rangers, her real name is Kimberly Ann Brown, not Lauren. She's Jayden's cousin," I revealed to the rangers letting them soak it in. They were relieved at that moment. "Okay, so now that we know its Kimmy but, but" Antonio started to say. "But why did Jayden call her Lauren," Mia wondered. "And how does that explain Jayden, not talking a lot about his past? I mean he did live here for a while right," Mike asked. "Yes and no," I answered. "What do you mean," Kevin asked. "It was all part of his father's plan, even the Nighlock didn't know about his cousin Kimmy; yet they knew about Jayden's father," I explained. "What," they asked. "It's true, they didn't know," Jayden said coming in with Kimmy. "Hi," Emily breathed seeing him. "Hi. Look guys, I feel bad and should have told you my secret after this one. I'm sorry; but its time you know the truth," he admitted sitting down. "Well, you better start explaining," Mike told him. "Mike," we scolded him. "What," he said in defense.

Jayden's P.O.V.:

"It's alright, I deserve it," I admitted. "So, back to," Mia was saying. "Yes. That. When I was little, I did not live here in the Shiba house with Uncle Ji as I mentioned in the beginning. The truth is my Dad and I used to live in Brooklyn, NY with my mom and my siblings Hector, Jessica, and Lauren. Hector and I were the oldest in the family followed by Jessica and Lauren as the youngest," I explained. "Whose Lauren," Mike asked dumbfounded. "My little sister. Well, my real little sister," I explained showing the picture that Kimmy got for me from my shirt pocket and placing it on the table. "Is that you Jayden," Emily wondered. "Yep. That was me when I was seven years old. It was taken a few days after Lauren came home from the hospital," I admitted. "Aww you look so cute," the girls squealed, and my cheeks turned bright red in embarrassment. "So that's Lauren. Your real little sister," Kevin asked seeing my sister on my dad's knee. "Yep. That's her," I smiled. "She looks a lot like you," Kevin noticed. "She does and from the moment she was born, I knew she was meant for something greater. She has an extraordinary destiny," I answered. "What is it? I mean her destiny," Emily asked. "I'll explain after," I told Emily. "So how did Jayden and his dad come here to the Shiba house," Mia asked.

"Well, we came here when Lauren was about to turn six, seven years ago. Reports were on the news about the Nighlock rising from the Zanzu River through a part of the Earth's mantle. They were looking for our dad," I revealed. "Why," Mike wondered. "Because he had the power to seal them permanently," I answered. "What power was that," Antonio wondered. "It's the Shiba family sealing symbol. It's been in Jayden's family for many generations, and they wanted to rid him of the power. Never to be used again," Mentor explained. "They wanted your dad to remove the power," Kevin asked, and I nodded. "But what about you," Mia asked. "They didn't know I was next to fulfill the Samurai Ranger duties and thought that by ridding my dad of his power, it would end the power passage," I explained. "Oh," they wondered. "I was tracking their movements when I heard they were looking for Jayden and my brother-in-law and might have found them in NY," Mentor explained. "They might have found him," Emily gasped. "Yeah somehow a tip must have gotten through but to play it safe, I hatched a plan quickly," Mentor told them. "What did you do," Mia asked.

"I messaged his father right away telling him to take Jayden and head on over to where I was. Here in New Zealand and the Shiba house to meet up with the other Samurai Rangers, your parents, where it will be safe until the Nighlock and Xandred are gone," Mentor answered. "For good," Antonio asked. I nodded. "But, Jayden you and your dad left your family. Didn't it give them closure," Emily said confused. "Yeah, couldn't you tell them," Mike asked. "We did tell them what we had to do; but to keep this secret from the Nighlock, dad and Uncle Ji decided to make it look like we went missing from town when really our families knew what was going on," I clarified. "But what about Lauren," Mia asked. "She was sad dad and I had to leave but on the day we left, I promised her and still keep my promise that when all is said and done with the Nighlock, and she fulfills her destiny, our family will be together again," I answered. "Wow. That is amazing you still keep by that promise," Antonio nodded. "I still continue to live by it to this day," I smiled. "Um Jayden, not to be inquisitive but can I see the picture for a second," Kevin quizzed. "Sure," I said handing it over to him. He looked and saw the silhouette of Aslan on Lauren's right shoulder. He seemed confused and showed it to the others.

"What's that on Lauren's shoulder? It looks familiar in a news article I read once or better yet seen in a movie," Mike noticed. We all looked at him. "What? I like reading and watching movies besides video games," he asked offended. "Well, in answer to your question Mike. That's her birthmark. It's in the form of a lion," I answered. "Ah pretty interesting birthmark if you ask me," Emily mused. "Yeah, it sure does but what does a lion have to do with this," Antonio bewildered. "It's not a lion Antonio, I recognize this mark. This is the mark of Aslan the true king of Narnia," Mike realized. "Yes. You are correct," I smiled at Mike. "But how does Aslan and a lion connect to Lauren? I can't connect all the dots," Kevin wondered scratching his head.

Mentor's P.O.V.:

"It's all part of her secret rangers. Have you guys heard of the Chronicles of Narnia," I asked them. "Yeah. We read them all the time as kids and saw the movies," they answered. "To tell you the truth Rangers, the story of," I started to say. "Uncle, may I tell them? They need to know," Jayden said to me with a smile. "Okay," I nodded.

Jayden's P.O.V.:

I took a deep breath and looked at my friends. "The story of Narnia from the books to the movies are true. Narnia is real," I revealed to them. "WHAT," they breathed. "How," Emily said shocked. "But, but that's impossible. I thought Narnia was," Mike stunned. "Made up," I asked. "Yes," they said surprised. "I know guys but to tell you the truth. It did happen Narnia is real and my family is connected to it," I explained. "How so are you connected," Mia wondered. "Our family on my mom's side are direct descendants of the Pevensies," I answered. They looked at me stunned. "Your family is the descendants of the Pevensies," they asked. "Yeah. 77 years ago during the London Blitz my great aunts and uncles Lucy, Peter, Edmund, and Susan evacuated London and stayed in the country with Professor Kirke, who became a friend of my family at the time. DUring their stay, they went to Narnia and discovered they were part of an ancient prophecy there," I explained. "The prophecy that states two sons of Adam and daughters of Eve would appear in Narnia, defeat the White Witch," Mike asked. "And restore peace to Narnia yes, that was our family and still is," I admitted. They were stunned at this and were surprised. "They ruled Narnia for 15 years, there time before coming back to our world and returned a year later to help my other great uncle Caspian in his fight for the throne. After that, it marked the end for Uncle Peter and Aunt Susan. They were too old; yet Aunt Lucy and Uncle Edmund were able to have one more adventure. Afterwards, they never went back and tried to find Narnia in their world which they did and told many others; but Susan forgot," I admitted.

"She did," they asked. "She thought it would be easier to cope that way. Aunt Lucy, Uncle Edmund, and Peter died in 1949 from a train accident along with Aunt Helen and Uncle Francis and returned to Narnia in its new glory. Aslan told them that their world will be connected forever to ours by a portal that was made. Aunt Susan came around and was able to return to the real Narnia that has existed till today and married Caspian, her true love," I smiled. "But how does that explain the legend," Emily wondered. "Well before Lauren was born, our family had a dream that we were in a castle and saw Aslan foretold of another prophecy where the descendants will sit on their thrones. Lucy asked who they would be meaning the descendants. She knew she didn't marry before her death. Aslan told her that she would have a daughter pretty soon along with the others and they would carry on the legend of Narnia and the descendants would bear the marks of Aslan indicating they are the descendants of the kings and queens," I explained.

"Since then, the legend has been passed down in our family and when Lauren was a baby, we noticed the birthmark of Aslan which confirmed to us, she is a direct descendant of Lucy Pevensie by blood, destined to fulfill the ancient prophecy of the reincarnated rulers. To deceive the Nighlock and not let them get his sister," Mentor started to explain. "I made an ultimate sacrifice," he admitted. "You did," they asked him. "I had to keep it secret from my teammates and friends until the time was right for them to know the truth. Kimmy has guarded the secret well and I know you guys will do the same," he said looking at us. "So that's her destiny," Emily asked. "Yes. It is. I yearn everyday to see my sister again and I beg of you guys, keep this secret, the Nighlock must not know," he told them. "We promise," they nodded.

"Thanks guys. I'm also sorry for not keeping you informed when I should have," he apologized. "No need to apologize Jayden. You had to do what's right and this shows you are a worthy leader to the Samurai Rangers," Kevin smiled. "Lauren would be very proud of you Jayden," Ji told him. "Thanks. Now come on, we got to give everything we got to defeat the Nighlock and Master Xandred forever," I said confidently as he stood up with Kimmy and the others walked outside to begin sparring. I still held my picture of Lauren in my hand before hugging it. "Don't worry Lauren, I'll find you soon and dad, they know the truth now. It's time," I smiled into the sky joining the others for a duel.

Hope you guys like it! I wanted to write how Jayden disclosed Lauren's secret to his Samurai Rangers along with Ji to help. I had so many ideas but I figured you guys would enjoy this one-shot in telling part of Lauren's story. Hope you guys like it and I will be writing more of my stories pretty soon! Until then, a happy late 4th of July and summer to you all. From, Lucy the Valiant 89 3
