Pepper, listening at the door to the lab, paled. After a slight hesitation, she crossed the room to stand beside Tony.
He didn't look at her. "Go on, Jarvis."
"The note continues to say that he holds himself responsible for the deaths that occurred as a result of his offering the reward for the capture of the Winter Soldier and that he cannot live with the consequences of his actions."
"Damn it, Yori." Breathing uneven now, Tony reached out blindly and took Pepper's hand. "Is that it?"
"No, sir. He ends with a request to be buried beside his son."
