"The authorities are still looking for Barnes," Tony said over the radio. "But the reward died with Yori, so you guys can come back here. It's still the best place for him."

"Tony, you don't –"

"Damn it, Cap, just come," Tony wearily. "It's fine."

Clint and Sam looked relieved. Nat, surprised, then impassive.

Bucky wasn't saying anything. He just stared blindly into space as Ali kneaded his thigh. Nakamura's story had shaken him badly.

Steve didn't like it. But he couldn't deny it was the best solution.

"Thanks, Tony."

Natasha pointed the jet towards New York, and Stark Tower.

This is the end of "Healing". I'm taking a 30-day break, then I'll be back with the next installment, as yet untitled. I'm thinking of doing something revolutionary and trying to set up an outline ahead of time, so I know where the hell I'm going with it, instead of just flying by the seat of my pants like I normally do. It'll be a change. Thanks to everyone for reading, and a special thanks to those who comment. It means a lot.
