Chapter 1: Liza Marie's Hugs
Forty-three-year-old Noah Puckerman was in the hospital looking at the stitches on his neck and his legs that were cut off below the knee. Then he heard five-year-old Liza Marie Anderson say, "Why does Nono only want to see me Dada? Why doesn't Aunt Beff want to see him or Auntie Queenie?" Before Kurt says, "I don't know Liza Marie, but I was told by Grandpa Burt to tell you not to be scared when you see Uncle Nono." Before a nurse puts a bandage on his neck.
As soon as Noah and Liza Marie see each other, they both break down, but Liza Marie doesn't run away. She just runs to Noah's hospital bed and climbs the rail. Then she hugs Noah and says to Kurt, "Hand me Nono's phone Dada, I want to text Aunt Beff and Auntie Queenie!" Noah helps her find their numbers and create a new message before she uses the mic to say, "This is Liza Marie. You two better come see Nono or I will get Auntie Tana to help me yell at you in person! Nono is hurting and needs both of you here! Now, come see Nono!"
Neither of them responded to the text and Noah set up a new message to Santana without Liza Marie asking him to, before she uses the mic to talk text again saying, "This is little She-Hulk, Nono and me want you to go "talk" to Auntie Queenie and Aunt Beth. They won't come see him. I think he just wanted to see me because he last saw Aunt Beth when she was my age." Santana replied saying, "Auntie Tana is already on it Little She-Hulk. Tell Uncle Puck I'll be there soon and that your Mama yelled at Beth too." She just shows him the text before hugging him again when she sees he is about to cry again.
An hour later, they hear two sets of high-heels walking fast down the hall. Before Santana and Rachel storm in dragging Quinn as Beth walks in with Shelby. Then Beth looks at Liza Marie and says, "I'm sorry I was afraid to see him." Liza Marie looks over at Noah before saying, "I understand." Then Liza Marie glares at Quinn before saying, "Papa and I saw you at the coat house Meanie Queenie!" This makes Santana and Rachel say in unison, "What the hell, Quinn? Why were you at the courthouse?!" Then Noah looks at Liza Marie before she asks, "Where are the papers Meanie Queenie. Nono just wants to get this over wiff!"
As Burt and Carole walk in Noah is signing the divorce papers and throwing them at Quinn before Liza Marie screams, "Go!" And wraps her arms around Noah again as he cries himself to sleep. Then Burt asks, "What was that all about? Quinn is Puck's wife. Shouldn't she be here?" Liza Marie spoke up, saying, "Meanie Queenie gave him papers from the coat house." This makes Carole storm out before they hear Noah's mother Norah, say, "Carole, wait up, I'm going with you."
Before Sarah walks into the room and says to Liza Marie, "We saw her too Liza Marie." Then she looked at the others and says, "We had been trying to get ahold of her since. I swear since Puck has came home she has been a..." Then Liza Marie says, "Total bitch! Is that what you were going to say Auntie Sarah?" Sarah just giggles as she says, "You have been hanging around my brother way too much Liza Marie." Liza Marie just glares at Sarah as the others start to laugh.
When Noah wakes up, he sees Liza Marie asleep next to him, along with Burt and Sarah playing cards at the table in the room. When Burt notices he is awake, he says, "Your Ma went with Carole to go yell at Quinn an hour ago and Kurt went to get something to eat." Then they hear Blaine yelling at someone saying, "They are just friends! Hell, even Beth gets that! Why don't you? So, because you can't handle the fact that Puck wanted to see my daughter...You know what, Quinn, do whatever you want but I am not going to stop bringing Liza Marie to see Puck. Because I can see it's helping him heal and I think it's good for him."
Blaine ends the call as he enters the room with Kurt, who says, "I'm sorry, Puck, I can't believe Quinn is doing this to you. It's not your fault Beth was her only good egg." This makes Blaine ask, "How do you know that, Kurt?" Kurt just looks at Blaine as he says, "She told me before they got married. When I asked her if she wanted to be our baby mama this time around."
Then Noah hits his tray table before Liza Marie says, "She could have told Nono that and not become a bitch when he needed her the most! I'm not trying to take anyone's place here and she is being stupid!" Soon Burt is getting a call from Carole, but when he answers it, he hears Quinn say, "I'm not like you Mrs. H. and there is no way I'm going to waste my life taking care of a crippled asshole!" This makes Liza Marie take the phone and say, "Meanie Queenie, Nono loves you! Don't you love Nono anymore!" Quinn just says, "No, you little bitch I don't love Nono anymore!"
Soon the call drops and Santana calls Burt on FaceTime as he sees Carole, along with Norah yelling at Quinn as they are hitting her. As Santana says, "Mr. H. are you near Puck? Because I think he needs to watch this too." Burt stands by Noah's bedside as he says, "I am now, Santana and he is watching the whole thing." Then Noah says, "Bye-bye Meanie!" Before he looks at Liza Marie as she says, "Stop!"
Then Santana moves closer to Quinn as the two women back away before Liza Marie says, "You heartless bitch, how could you do this to Nono? He has done everything he could to be the man you needed and the moment he needs you more then you need him. You decide to throw your love away and leave him like his dad left Nana Norah! Go to hell Bitch!" Then she ends the call before she and Noah break down and cry. All that is heard is Noah saying, "Meanie!" Over and over. As Liza Marie says, "Hush, Nono, Meanie Queenie is gone." While she holds him in her arms. The last thing Noah says to Liza Marie is, "Hold me." Before he goes to sleep again.
