All she could hear was the constant beeping of the heart monitor and the muffled voices of the doctors. She is currently at the hospital. Her memory is foggy, but she knew a few thing's.

She and her parents got into a car accident, but she was the only survivor. She caught snippets of the doctors conversation, so she also knew she wasn't going to last long. One of her important organs, her lungs, was damaged so bad that the doctors couldn't fix it anymore. She can't say that they didn't try.

The only thing she could do now is wait for death to take her over. Although, she wouldn't really mind that. At the very least, she would get to see her parents again, which is a big thumbs up to her current situation.

Then she heard the monitor make a long 'beep' sound, pronouncing the stopping of her heart to the other occupants in the room. After that she knew no more of the world of reality, and all she saw was the darkness enveloping her vision.

'Is this death? ' She thought. Suddenly, almost blinding her, a bright light exploded all around, then she found herself in the arms of a woman with some sort of caretaker outfit on. Said woman's hair was tucked into low bun and shaded a common black. Her eye's were - surprisingly - a purple colour, that were gazing down at her with interest.

The woman broke her gaze away from her and looked over to someone standing near the two. "This is the new child?" the raven-head asked curiously, keeping her gaze on the person she was talking to. It was silent for a few moments before another voice spoke out "Certainly. I expect you have a name for her, Isabella."

It sounded more of a statement then a question to the baby, but she wasn't thinking about that now. What she is wondering about is how is she not dead?! Was this some sort of test? Wait . . . she was probably recreated in another place or something, cause this can't be a test. Said baby was snapped out of her thoughts when the woman that was carrying her starting speaking in a low tone, only a bit louder than a whisper.

"Yes. Her name will be Emma."

That's it for the first chapter (or prologue). Sorry if it is a bit lazy or short. I was lazy when I started this, and this is my first fan-fiction I ever wrote online.

Well, I'll see you in the next chapter!
