Chapter 1: Begin
I couldn't wait for the trials. It was finally my turn to do everything I could to get into UA High.
As I sat in the amphitheater in my beanie and baggie sweatshirt combo I could feel bile coating my throat the bitter taste a reminder that I had failed many exams in the past
But this is different I told myself this time I can use my quirk
"Alrighty! Let's get this started!" Present Mic boomed "everyone go to your designated area!"
Breathe I told myself repeatedly you can do this
But what if I couldn't do it! What if I failed and became a laughing stock? An ink blot on my family's history?
I shook my head bidding these thoughts from my mind as I walked towards the examination
"Here's what's going down folks!" Present Mic called "you must defeat as many bots in the set time to earn points the people with the most points will be admitted to the school!"
Simple, right? I thought with a grimace
Then the gates open and I felt all of my nervous feelings rush in at once
And so, overwhelmed and afraid I stepped into the gates and into the future
