"Arthur, can you remove your son from Albus?" Ana asked him.
Although he was reluctant, he eventually pulled Bill off of Albus. But not before he gave him a few good punches to the face. Ana waited a few minutes for the excitement to die down.
"Alright, now that that's done with. I know, it's surprising. Bill, I already paid for the goblins to remove it. Bloodying up the floor isn't going to undo that. Even though he does deserve it."
Ana looks out over the group of people. All curious about why the eldest Weasley attacked Dumbledore. "For those who don't understand his anger, the little spot at the end of Parchment. Where it says Horcrux and soul leech. While I'm sure that most of you can make an educated guess on what a soul leech is, the Horcrux is the biggest problem. It is gone now, so need to worry. But a Horcrux is a piece of someone's soul placed in, usually, an inanimate object but they can also be placed inside living beings. This one just so happened to be in Harry's scar since that fateful night. Whether Dumbledore knew it was there at the time is unknown, but and I'm certain that Bill came to this conclusion very quickly and that is the reason for his attack. He had it figured out at least by 1993 when Ginny was brought back from the Chamber of Secrets with Fawkes, Harry and a blackened leather book with a gapping hole in the center of it."
"No.." Molly almost sobs out.
"Unfortunately, Molly, it is true. I think it is about time that we as a group and the Order should find a change in leadership. I am not up for the position as I will not always be in the country. But I believe that Alastor would do a great job," Ana puts out her opinion before turning to a different subject. "This can be expressed upon further, later in the meeting. First, we must figure out if Miss Weasley is in need of some help in the mental aspect. Bill, if you would?"
Bill nods in confirmation before moving along the table to his only sister. With a warm smile he asks her to sit still so he can run a full scan. Being that she absolutely trusts her oldest brother, she just gives him a nervous smile and agrees. While he is doing that, Sirius turns to Harry.
"Are you doing alright pup?"
"Yeah, just anxious."
"About...?"
"The hearing, and the prophecy, and everything else going on."
Ana slings her arm over Harry's shoulder and talks quietly to him, "You see that woman over there with the curly black hair next to Tonks," she subtly points at Andromeda and stops when he nods his affirmation. "She is our lawyer. A damn good one at that, should there be any point in the proceedings where they try to paint blame onto you when it is wrong then she will be able to tear apart any arguments that they have on it. Andromeda is scarily good at what she does, I've been to a few of the muggle hearings where she was defending others. She'll tear them apart in our world. Make them all look stupid at the same time."
Harry eases into Ana as comfortably as he can with them being on separate chairs, seeing this, Sirius transfigures their chairs to be a small bench. When Harry notices the change he leans down further on his side of the chair to comfortably slide under Ana's arm and rest his head on her shoulder. Their new seating arrangement went mostly unnoticed by the rest of the rooms occupants.
Bill had all of the attention when he finally stood back up, "She still has some dark magic in the recesses of her mind, clinging to the worst of her thoughts. Even if she would never act on them, if she were to get angry enough it could present itself."
"She should have seen a mind healer after that, she was only 11 and had been possessed by the 16 year old version of Voldemort," Ana rolled her eyes at the number of people that flinched.
"If we send her to one now, we could be putting her in danger," Molly said with sadness in her tone. It went unmentioned that they probably wouldn't be able to afford it.
"She could come with Harry, Sirius and I when the hearing is over and meet with the healer I have set up to look over Sirius' ailments and Harry needs a mind healer as well, as you all saw on the parchment. All expenses will be taken care of," she added the last part when they looked ready to reject her offer.
"Shouldn't Hogwarts be paying for this treatment? It happened on school grounds after all," it was Dan that asked this.
"Of course the cost is coming from Hogwarts, today Harry and I found out that there is a lot more money for Hogwarts and its staff that hasn't been touched in a long time. That will be changing," Ana smirked at the gobsmacked expressions around the table.
"How did you come upon this information?" The question unfortunately came from a now awake Albus.
She looked down at Harry who had already lifted his head up to look at her, basically silently asking him if he wanted to give up this information. He shrugged before sitting up right and leaning forward, Harry and Ana simultaneously placed their right hands on the table. The second their hands connected with the table there was a small explosion of color. Funnily enough the colors were green, red, and blue. The Hogwarts crest glowed above their hands with all but Hufflepuff lit up.
"We have majority ownership of Hogwarts, therefore we have rights to that information. Not that you could do anything about it," that jab was in reference to finding out that he couldn't even walk into Gringotts let alone do business with them.
His silence was proof enough that it had to be bad for the goblins to deny a possible customer. And if she's being honest with herself, she probably already has an inkling to what it might be.
"The plans for the funds still need to be fleshed out and with the Hufflepuff Regent with us. So, let us move back to the topic at hand," Ana sighed. "As I see it, since the payment for Ginny's treatment will be coming from Hogwarts then there is nothing you need to worry about. If it is alright with you two then I don't see why Ginny can't come with us to see Sirius' healer in France. We have working Floo's, though they only go out to other places unless you are coming from the Ministry. Even then a password is needed."
Molly and Arthur look at each other for a few seconds before looking back at Ana, it was Arthur that answered, "We will think on this, we have a couple more days until the hearing. You'll have an answer before then."
Ana just nodded in acceptance and leaned back in her 'chair' again, Harry following suit to get comfortable again. The action got a lot of warm smiles.
The rest of the meeting was everyone making escape plans for their homes, and ways to make diversions if an attack takes place. Like the twins presenting ideas like the portable swamp. Or Charlie pointing out that since the Grangers don't have Floo access that we should set up emergency portkeys. Then that snowballed into setting up emergency portkeys for different safe houses in different towns. All progress written down by Neville who had the best hand writing even under duress according to Augusta and she was not wrong.
Once all the activity died down and all magicals made their way home, the Granger's having decided to stay when Sirius insisted enough times that spending more time with Hermione would help put them at ease here. Ana knew what he was doing but she elected to ignore his antics and went up to bed after wishing Harry a good night.
Later that night as everyone is sleeping, Harry starts awake. All he can see are Cedric's dead eyes and hear his voice telling him to take his body back to his parents. He gets out of bed with the intent of getting a glass of water, but his feet lead him up to the next floor. Standing hesitantly outside the door that he knows has his aunt on the other side. He's so wrapped up in his inner debate that he doesn't hear the door close by open up.
"Trouble sleeping?"
Harry jumps and spins around only to come face to face with his godfather. He relaxes and nods.
Sirius nods, "Come on." He walks up to the door with no problem and opens it.
The woman laying on the bed almost doesn't seem like the same one that took him to Gringotts earlier today. She looks relaxed and without worry. But, as if sensing the extra bodies in the room. She sleepily opens one of her eyes and sees the silhouettes of Sirius and Harry coming into her room. Without any objections she flicks open one side of the blankets. Harry hesitantly crawls in and snuggles up next to Ana.
When Sirius tries to close the blanket up on them he can only just hear Ana grumble out, "No, you too Pads."
Without argument, Sirius climbs in beside Harry so that he is sandwiched between his aunt and godfather. Neither would mention it, but they knew that Harry cried that night. With the warmth and love surrounding him, he couldn't help it.
Tomorrow would be a better day.
