*Chapter 1 to 5*
a young Serena while wandering around the forest when suddenly a bush near her started to rustle. Serena got scared and tried to run away but wound-up tripping over a tree root causing her knee to get scraped deep enough for blood to come out. The bush continued to rustle as she lay there to scare to even move. Then out came a Poliwag who lands in front of her, startling Serena before hopping away, leaving her alone, scared.
"I knew I never wanted to come to this stupid camp!" Serena said. Here she was all alone in a forest where she might never be seen again. She thought she might die knowing that no one cared about her. That caused her to release all the tears she kept bottled up. "I knew it!"
"MOMMMMY!" she screamed out.
Moments later the same bush began rustling again, and Serena noticed this and started crying again. Then a voice came out.
"Poliwag?" There a young eight-year-old boy in a red tank top with a yellow poke ball symbol, simple blue jean shorts, and red tennis shoes appears out of the bush and notice Serena on the ground.
"Hey are you alright?" Serena then notices the boy from camp standing in front of her.
"Hi, I'm Ash, who are you? What's wrong?" He asked. "I hurt my leg." Serena said with a few tears in her eyes. Ash then checked her knee to find fresh and dry blood on the wound. Serena thought he would leave to get help but did something else entirely. "Don't worry." Ash said then presenting a blue outline handkerchief. "See this? This
will make it better." Ash then ties the handkerchief around her wound. Serena meanwhile sat there all surprised that he's doing this.
"All done." Ash said but Serena tried standing up but winched in pain. Ash then tried to cheer her up. "Now watch this, feel better, feel better right away". Ash said as he waved his hands in a magic motion over her wound. Despite this Serena was still in pain.
"It still hurts. I can't stand up." Serena stated with tears in her eyes. Despite this Ash didn't give up. "Don't give up until it's over, ok? Come on." Ash then offers his hand to pick Serena up. Serena was hesitant at first as to thinking if she could trust this boy but chose to take a chance and offered his hand. Ash then pulls her up but didn't know his own strength and pull her into his arms. Serena felt something in her heart as this boy put his arms around her.
"There you go." Ash said after letting her go then grinning happily.
"I think we should go back to the campsite, come on." Ash said as he led her out of the forest and to an opening. Serena meanwhile was taken by this. When she first saw this boy, she thought he was a nice boy, with a lot of confidence and good sportsmanship but now after this she sees him as sweet, caring, noble and especially her hero in her time of need. As she blushed deeply as she was being led back to camp.
When they were out of the forest, they got to the camp nurse Daisy. As they got there, they hear the nurse say" o my are you alright?" "Yes, I am alright, but I hurt my knee" Serena says. Daisy reacts to Serena while pointing to table saying "oke just sit here I will take a look at it.".
after ash helps Serena on the table Daisy removes the handkerchief and looks at the wound. Daisy says, "it is all most nothing I just have to clean it then you can walk tomorrow easily."
After a while Delia and Grace also became fast friends as they raised their children on their own and watched them grow. Both knew they were going to be in–laws so decided to become good friends early on.
Ash and Serena did all sorts of games and activities together. But like all things, it never lasts. Summer was coming to its end, and so was the summer camp and Ash and Serena started to feel depressed that they would never see each other again. Oak, Delia and Grace tried to cheer the two kids up. Neither Ash nor Serena wanted to leave the other, but there was nothing they could do and spend as much time together as possible and most kids felt bad for Ash, even Gary and Oak knew his grandson wasn't a total jerk. And as we reach the last week, we reach the present where Ash and Serena are lying down next to each other under the stars at Oak's ranch. Ash was trying his best not to cry as Gary would make fun of him, but Serena didn't have limits and was hugging his arm while crying as well. "Serena, no matter what happens you'll always be my best friend", said Ash as he covered his face with a Poke–Expo hat he won at a competition he won with Serena.
They were silent and the sounds of night could be heard. "I wish I could stay. You were my first and best friend, too. But mom says there were no Rhyhorn races in Kanto so I can't stay here," said Serena sadly as she hugged Ash tight, and he returned it. She laid her head on his chest and he stroked her on the back, trying his best to comfort her. He then came up with a crazy idea. "What if I come to Kalos," asked Ash which took Serena by surprise and looked at him in shock that he would go so far to be with her. "Wait, what," asked Serena. "Are you sure? Kanto is your home." "Serena," said Ash as he got up. "Home is where your friends and heart are. If you leave, then I don't think I can see Pallet Town as my home. Besides, I promised you that we'll always be together and I'm not going to break that promise!" "Thank you," said Serena as she hugged him tightly and cried on his shoulder, joyfully. Ash and Serena raced back to Ash's house and found Delia.
"You kids are back already," asked Delia surprised as she though they were going to spend the entire night at Professor Oak's ranch. "Mom, I know this is crazy and all of a sudden, but I want us to move to Kalos," said Ash with determination. Delia looked at her son in shock and stayed quiet for a few seconds when she started laughing. "Mom, I'm being serious," said Ash, but Delia continued to laugh. "What's so funny?"
"It's funny, because Grace and I thought this day would eventually come," said Delia as she relaxed a lit. "She told me there's an empty house next to hers, so I bought it and you'll still be able to see Serena." "You really mean it," asked Serena in disbelieve. "Of course," said Delia. "Besides, how could we separate you two when you make such a cute couple?" "Mom," said Ash in embarrassment as both he and Serena blushed. "However, since you both attended Professor Oak's camp, you passed a test he put on all of you, and it was disguised as an exercise where you had to interact with wild Pokémon and you both did it. And since you passed it, you are eligible to challenge the Indigo conference when you turn ten, but since Serena doesn't want to challenge the league this doesn't apply to her. Professor Oak sent the names of those who passed, and you're expected to do the Indigo league first and you have to come here when you turn 10," explained Delia. "Is that OK?"
"It's fine, mom," said Ash. "As long as I can be with Serena." "Good," said Delia with a smile. "In that case, we'll be taking the same flight with Serena in a few days." "Awesome," said Ash with a smile and hugged Serena, which took her by surprise and blushed. A week later, Ash announced to his whole class that he'll be moving to Kalos with Serena and everyone was shocked, including Gary. Professor Oak's grandson was a bit sad but tried not to show it. The rest looked sad as well but got over it and decided to spend as much time with Ash and Serena as possible.
One of the kids in the class, Leaf was also sad as she was a close friend of Ash's, but not more than Serena was, and was sad that one of her closest friends was leaving and might never see him again. With the camp over, bags packed, everything paid for, Ash, Serena and Delia were ready to leave.
As they left, there was a quite big crowd to wave them of, including the children from the camp, except Gary. Professor Oak drove the trio to the airport in Vermillion City, and due to Oak's driving, Serena and Delia were screaming like they were in a horror movie, but Ash was enjoying the ride, much to Serena and Delia's surprise.
When they arrived at the airport, the professor bid them goodbye and after a couple of minutes the trio sat in the plane for Lumiouse City. During the long 10–hour flight, Ash and Serena talked about all the Pokémon in Kalos, and Ash got even more excited. Because of the long flight, Ash and Serena fell asleep quickly, as well as Delia but not before taking a picture of the two sleeping children. After the long flight, the trio got out of the plane at 6pm and went to meet up with Grace at the entrance of the airport. They got into her car and went to Vaniville Town. It was just like Pallet, so Ash felt like he was home.
When they got to Vaniville Town they all got to the 2 houses next to each other where the garden is connected to each other. After they unpacked all their stuff Serena and Ash walked into a nearby forest to see the pokemon there, Ash couldn't explain it, but he felt a sudden urge to
run there like there is something going on. When he arrived, he found a tree which was split down the middle, caused by a lightning bolt, from the
the thunderstorm that was here yesterday. Ash also saw a group of three Scatterbugs on a branch, unable to get down due to the damage. The damage also meant the tree was slowly falling, so the bugs life was in danger. Ash, being Ash, couldn't stand by and do nothing, so he did another of his reckless stunts and began climbing the tree to save the poor bug pokemon… He couldn't just leave them there.
"Hold on guys, I'm coming to get you!" Ash shouted up to the bug types.
Not even taking a chance to think this through, he climbed up the tree until he reached the bugs. He grabbed the closest Scatterbug and quickly
climbed back down the tree. He placed the Scatterbug on the ground whilst panting. Remember he is a small boy and has had exactly no-amount of training for a situation like this. Still, he pushed himself back up the tree. Serena arrived as Ash reached the top of the tree and froze in horror.
Although she wasn't the only one watching, there was a Froakie hopping by when he heard the bugs call for help. Froakie, is an interesting mon, he just abandoned another trainer and was heading back to Sycamore's lab. Sure, he was a training nut and wanted to become a super powerful
Greninja, but he also had a strong sense of justice and cared more about doing the right thing, even if he was in danger. The trainer he left, that
was his ninth one. The Professor believed he abandoned his trainer if they couldn't train him right… but no, that wasn't the case. Sure, training was his life, but he wouldn't abandon a trainer because of their experience, he might disobey an order, but that's because they don't really know how to battle or wanted him to do some silly little performance. No, he only abandoned a trainer if they turned their back when they could help someone, or even worse, put a person or mon in danger. The last trainer he was given too, knew a thing or two about training and raising pokemon, but last night, when the thunderstorm hit, he ran into a cave, and kicked a couple dozen wild pokemon into the storm, that was why he abandoned him. He heard the cries for help and saw these bug pokemon in danger, he recognized them as some of the pokemon his 'trainer' kicked out, even if they weren't, he couldn't just leave them. He was going to help the bugs when he saw this kid arrive, he didn't know why, but something was telling him to just watch this kid, so he did.
Froakie and Serena watched as Ash grabbed the second Scatterbug, both of which jumped onto his shoulders, and Ash climbed down. The second
Scatterbug jumped to the floor, greeting the first Scatterbug Ash saved while Ash was out of breath.
"Ash Ketchum, how could you..." Serena started to scold but it fell on deaf ears as the tired boy returned to the tree to climb back for the last Scatterbug. Ash got to the same point, but Scatterbug was simply too far along the branch.
"Hey buddy, come on over so we can get down!" Ash tried to call out for the bug to come closer, but he was too scared. It also didn't help that Ash
didn't know the name Pokemon's name since it was one, he has never seen before.
Seeing time running out, Ash climbed further and went onto the branch. He was able to grab the scared bug, and the tree started to fall… Ash was
scared, but he positioned the Scatterbug on his stomach and turned so he would land on his back meaning the bug would be safe.
Froakie was speechless, even when faced with death, the eigth-year-old was still putting others first. He hasn't seen anything so brave before.
Honestly, this eigth-year-old was the most heroic human he has ever seen. Sure, he was reckless, but that didn't matter. Froakie seemed to sense
this kid was just like him, and was something special, if Froakie passed this up, he wouldn't find another person who is as heroic as he is. With his
decision made, Froakie threw his frubbles to work as a type of glue and hold the trunk together. Even if this kid wasn't heroic, then he would still
save him. The frubbles may not be superglue but it drastically slowed the trunk, this gave Ash enough time to climb back down and put Scatterbug
back on the ground.
"Thank you for saving us." The First Scatterbug thank Ash with tears.
"It's no problem... Just find somewhere to be safe, alright." Ash panted in response. The bugs nodded and disappeared into the forest, while Froakie hopped out of his hiding place. "And thank you for saving me.". Froakie was shocked as Ash wasn't even looking when he spoke to him, like he knew he was there the whole time. "You're welcome." Froakie replied. "Nice to meet you." He extended his paw.
"Nice to meet you too." Ash replied as he shook his paw. "I'm Ash Ketchum.". After introduction and Froakie learned about that Ash can understand pokemon and returned with Ash and Serena.
Serena dragged Ash back home before he tried to kill himself again, where she promptly scolded him. Once her scolding was finished, and Ash apologized at least fifteen times. The three spent their time playing tag, along with the Yvonne's Rhyhorn.
When the mothers returned. "HE DID WHAT!" Delia learned about Ash's little stunt and started his second scolding.
After a while
Grace decided to contacted Professor Sycamore concerning the Froakie since it shouldn't be in the wild like that, considering it's a starter. "Hello, Sycamore's Lab. Professor Sycamore speaking." The male professor spoke as the screen lit up. "Hello Professor, my name is Grace Yvonne. From Vaniville Town." Grace introduced herself. "I am calling because of a wild Froakie who showed up earlier today, I it's a starter, so I am sure a wild one shouldn't just be here.". "Ah, so that's where Froakie is." The Professor replied with a smile. "You see, that Froakie is quite a handful, he has been given to a total of nine trainers but has left each of them. The trainer who last had him called not long ago so I was expecting him to show up soon. Sorry for any trouble he is causing.".
"Are you sure this is that Froakie you're on about?" Grace asked.
"Yes, the trainer said he was near Vaniville when Froakie left, so it only makes sense." Sycamore replied. "Why?".
"Because he has been playing with my friend's son and my daughter." Grace replied. "He seems like the sweetest Pokemon, not this troublemaker who abandons trainers like you're suggesting.".
The moment the professor heard that he spitted his drink out. "Really?" Sycamore asked with great shock. Instead of answering him, Grace turned the screen, so he could see Froakie playing with the kids again.
"How on Earth did a 8–year–old earned Froakie's respect," asked Sycamore in shock. "He turned down many promising trainers but accepted a kid!" Grace explained what happened in the forest and Sycamore understood the kid has done was something very few trainers would do nowadays and Froakie saw potential in Ash. "Well, Froakie is extremely stubborn about choosing a trainer and the odds of choosing another is near zero, so the best thing to do is to leave Froakie with that kid," said Sycamore. "What," asked Grace in shock. She has never heard of a 8–year–old to have a Pokémon. A strong one at that!
Sycamore reacted with "If it was any other pokemon I wouldn't do it, but this Froakie is special because it has rejected many trainers."
Then an idea came to Sycamore "how about I meet this boy and see how they both are doing."
Grace reacted "is that really a good idea is will take a while to come here." Sycamore replied "no worry, my Garchomp can carry me easily while flying very fast. Plus, Garchomp and Froakie know each other well so he would like to meet the boy to. I will come tomorrow because it is getting late. Is that good?" "of course, it's good until tomorrow then." Grace answered. "Good night" Sycamore said before ending the call.
After the call Grace informed everyone about Sycamore coming by tomorrow. Everyone was interested how it will go tomorrow.
The next day
Everybody was waiting outside when they heard a loud roar. They looked up and saw a Garchomp coming their way with Professor Sycamore on its back. "Hello, everyone," said Sycamore as he got off Garchomp. "Hello, Professor Sycamore," said Ash and Serena in union and Froakie waved with his paw. Sycamore turned his attention to Froakie. "Hello again, Froakie. It's been long time. I'm glad you found a trainer who can bring out the inner potential in you."
The professor explained what he did as a professor and decided to give Ash Froakie's PokéBall. It was obvious the kid had the potential in befriending Pokémon easily and so did Serena. "Ash, I decided to give you Froakie. It's clear that his previous trainers hadn't earned Froakie's respect as much as you did so I think you deserve this," said Sycamore as he gave Ash Froakie's PokéBall. Ash was shocked that he could keep Froakie and said "Thank you" multiple times.
"Professor is there a way I can learn good about pokemon? I want to help Froakie with getting stronger because he wants to become strong. "Asked Ash which took everyone by surprise. "Back in Pallet Town, Professor Oak was very busy teaching Gary all the time, so I never got to learn much."
From everyone here, Sycamore was the most surprised. He wasn't as busy as Oak, but just as knowledgeable. But He thought about teaching Ash about Pokémon might bring a bit more fun to the lab and see how Froakie choose him as his trainer. He said to everyone his idea, because of that everybody except Sycamore became more shocked.
"But don't you have a lot of other duties at the lab and elsewhere," asked Grace. "I'm not that busy as most people think and teaching a young mind sounds like fun," said the professor. "Then can I come as well," asked Serena with determination.
Of course, you can, I don't think ash is the only potential trainer here." said Sycamore with a smile. Ash and Serena celebrated, and Delia and Grace looked surprised, but happy. "We'll start tomorrow morning and drop by every day at 10pm. I'll be sending Garchomp to pick you up."
Now that everything was settled, the professor got on his Garchomp and went back to the lab.
After the professor was gone, Delia told the kids to pay good attention to the professor from his studies and told them that she'll teach them how to cook while Grace will teach them how to camp out.
The next morning Ash, Serena and Froakie was collected by Garchomp, and flew to the lab.
Ash sat up front with Froakie on his shoulder and Serena behind him. Serena took the opportunity and held onto Ash from behind. It wasn't long until they were at the lab and started learning. Of the time they spent there, Sycamore taught them numerous things, like battling, performing, training, raising (from both eggs and fully evolved pokemon), type match ups, abilities, and states and more.
Ash and Froakie took more of an interest in battling, also focusing the other subjects like training to adept to more battles and coming up with battle strategy's while Serena was more interested in Contest battles and showcases, taking what she learnt from training to adapt to the more a stage styles of showing off a Pokemon whether in a battle or not. Although she didn't have her own Pokemon to put these ideas she got into practice so she would just end up watching a contest or showcase on TV when Ash went to practice a new technique with Froakie.
During one of the moments that ash was training. Serena was again watching a performance but before she knew it, she had someone beside her. When she looks, she saw a Fennekin next to her also watching the performance. Before they knew it, they were best friends. after a few days they ask everyone to watch something she and Fennekin came up with. After she was done everybody was applauding for her. they became partners.
After a few weeks they thought to have some time to relax so they all gone to a beach with warm weather. They found a place where it was quiet between some rock with soft sand hidden from others. They had a lot of fun until they heard a cry as if something was wrong. So, Serena, ash and there pokemon came to inspect it. They found a something like a blue seal. When they came to him, they saw he was hunger and wounded. So, they took him to the mothers to show them what they found. Then Delia asks ash to get the emergency kid from the car because ash is the fastest of them al., they treated him and brought him to a pokemon center so that nurse joy can look at it further for wounds or something else.
While nurse joy was checking the pokemon. Ash and Serena called Sycamore to inform him what they found. He informed that they found a Popplio a alola water starter. He asked if they could bring him Popplio next time they come by while he will be asked to the alola professor if he knows something about it. After the call they heard from nurse joy that Popplio is alright and just needs some rest. So, ash and Serena took Popplio with them.
3 days later
Ash and Serena were collected by Garchomp to the lab. When they were there Sycamore told them that the alola professor wants to see him to see how Popplio is doing so he will be calling soon. While he said that he got a call from someone. When professor answered the call, it showed a brown skinned man with glasses and a goatee. Sycamore said "hello Kukui I see your excited to see the found Popplio?" "You got me Sycamore I just want to see if it is oke and I have a friend who also wants to know how Popplio is, but he is busy today and tomorrow, so I had to do it alone."
Ash and Serena heard the conversation and came to be part of it. When Kukui saw them, he was shocked how young they are. "Are you two the ones that help Popplio?" Kukui said. ash and Serena nodded to it. Kukui thanked them and asked if he can see Popplio. Ash and Serena called there pokemon with them and brought Popplio closer to the camera to show it to the alola professor. He is glad to see it is healthy and happy. "I could see that Popplio like you Serena, if you liked you can have him" kukui said to them. Serena shocked that Popplio can stay with them she said fast yes, and everybody was happy that their friend gets to stay. Serena asks" but professor Kukui don't you need a Popplio for new trainers or something. Or don't y…" Kukui stopped Serena and said "you don't have to worry about its Serena because I already have a complete set of alola starters for new trainers, but it is nice of you to think about it good luck with Popplio Serena. I will be interest what will happen in the future with you and your pokemon. Well, I have to go have a nice day everyone" everyone quickly reacted with "you to professor" after that the screen became blank.
During the next 3 weeks serena and ash got a pokedex so that they use to train but they will get a new one for their journeys. when they got the pokedex they scanned every pokemon from Sycamore to their mothers and their own.
Froakie, The Bubble Frog pokemon, it secretes flexible bubbles from its chest and back. The bubbles reduce the damage it would otherwise take when attacked.
Fennekin, The Fox pokemon, eating a twig fills it with energy, and its roomy ears give vent to air hotter than 390 degrees Fahrenheit.
Popplio, The Sea Lion pokemon, the balloons it inflates with its nose grow larger and larger as it practices day by day.
Serena, Fennekin and Popplio had some problems with working together because Fennekin and Popplio both want Serena's attention after a lot of hard work they finally got over and worked together. During a practice they both evolved into Braixen and Brionne
They congratulated each other.
Braixen, The Fox pokemon, The evolved form of Fennekin, It has a twig stuck in its tail. With friction from its tail fur, it sets the twig on fire and launches into battle.
Brionne, The Pop Star pokemon, The evolved form of Popplio, It gets excited when it sees a dance it doesn't know. This hard worker practices diligently until it can learn that dance.
Also, during the 3 weeks ash and Froakie hard trained with each other and eventually Froakie evolved into Frogadier.
Frogadier, The Bubble Frog pokemon, The evolved form of Froakie, it can throw bubble-covered pebbles with precise control, hitting empty cans up to a hundred feet away.
As a reward Sycamore gave them both a Eevee because of all their hard work. Serena's Eevee got was fast friends with Braixen and Brionne without any difficulty. Ash's Eevee like ash fast and doesn't really like being touched by others expect for serena and the other Eevee because the other Eevee is her sister.
Eevee, The Evolution pokemon, Thanks to its unstable genetic makeup, this special Pokémon conceals many different possible evolutions.
We are now with the family with Frogadier and Braixen out of there pokeballs in a great shop that got everything you need and things you don't need for the mother to show the children where they need to look for the right stuff. While they were looking for the right Spices to put in food, Ash and Frogadier stop by some swords. They had a feeling something was between the swords. After a while they just left because everybody said they were crazy, except the moment they walk away from the swords one of the swords started floating around. Ash looked behind him and was shocked while saying everyone should look. They also became shocked. Then 2 pokemon (a sphere like pokemon with limbs and a pokemon with a sharp head) came from the window into the shop they took some food and ice while trying to make a run for it. Ash and Frogadier saw this and decided to follow them. Serena and Braixen were don't want their friends alone in danger, so they followed ash.
After a while the police arrived asking what happened. The mothers explained what they saw. Officer jenny said "that there are a lot of food and ice getting stolen by three pokemon. With the help of how the mothers describe the "flying sword" they now know one of the thieving pokemon".
Were back to ash and Serena with their pokemon following the thieving pokemon. they followed them deep in the forest in a cave. Where ash and serena see a lot of ice and food plus a pokemon lying on the ice who doesn't look good. They see why the "thieving" pokemon were steeling thing the sick pokemon must be an ice type that has a fever. Serena took the pokedex and scanned every one of the four pokemon.
Golett, The Automaton pokemon, they were sculpted from clay in ancient times. No one knows why, but some of them are driven to continually line up boulders.
Pawniard, The Sharp Blade pokemon,it uses river stones to maintain the cutting edges of the blades covering its body. These sharpened blades allow it to bring down opponents.
Honedge, The Sword pokemon, the blue eye on the sword's handguard is the true body of Honedge. With its old cloth, it drains people's lives away.
Froslass, The Snow land pokemon, The evolved form of Snowrunt, it spits out cold air of nearly −60 degrees Fahrenheit to freeze its quarry. It brings frozen prey back to its lair and neatly lines them up.
But because of all the pokedex the pokemon saw them and were about to defend Froslass. Ash and Serena said "they don't mean harm". They want to help them healing Froslass. The "thieving" pokemon were about to attack until they heard Froslass moan in pain. They had no choice even with their past with bad trainers then for help. They think quickly and acted fast because it is warm outside so Froslass must stay in the cave. Ash and Frogadier run as fast as they can to the close by pokemon center for nurse joy to come here. Serena help covering Froslass with ice to cool her down. She asks to the pokemon to get some wood to block the entrée of the cave, so the warmth doesn't come in.
After a while
A van arrived with ash and nurse joy in it. Then two Chansey's came out with a big cool box for Froslass to sleep in while they go to the pokemon center. When they arrived Serena and Ash got a scolding for running of like that earlier. While nurse joy was nursing Froslass officer Jenny arrived and came to the "thieving" pokemon to see how they are going to repent for their crimes. The pokemon for talking to each other ash heard something about a big shiny rock they found. They were interrupted with Froslass floating through the room being fine and thanking the three pokemon for helping her.
The three pokemon decided to bring everyone including officer jenny and nurse joy to the cave. While walking deeper in the cave Golett and Pawniard push a large rock aside to see an entrance to a hidden room. In the room was a giant blue rock with a Froslass drawn on it. They were about to ask how they found this rock until they look down and saw 3 marks that perfectly marks Golett, Pawniard and Honedge. Officer Jenny called a local stone expert to look at it he was shocked for his life because of what he discovered. The giant rock is the same material as blue shards, a little shard cost already a lot, but this rock is worth for over a billion on pokedollars plus, the great artwork on the front makes it worth even more something that should go to a museum. Officer jenny dropped the charges on the three pokemon and use a part of the rock for restoring the stores that they broke in to.
The moment everyone was going to say goodbye Froslass floated to Serena wanting to be with her mentally saw that she was a nice person Froslass needs. After hearing that everybody was shocked that Froslass wanted to be with Serena. Quickly Golett, Pawniard and Honedge wanted to be with them to. Golett and Honedge really want to be strong to defend Froslass so they were going with Ash. Pawniard doesn't like to battle but will defend if necessary, it also like slashing stuff Serena said "it could be used for contest showing how good it can slash things".
It's been eight weeks with the days going by everyone was happy and training Froslass, Golett, Pawniard and Honedge are getting used to everyone. Golett and Honedge are getting stronger by the training ash made for them. Froslass is with Brionne making a water ice combination, but Pawniard did not have much to do but he is a lot of helping with cleaning the battlefield by slashing everything above ground or removing some berries in the tree that are in the garden.
Ash and Serena are now at Sycamore's lab for the usual training with their pokemon. After while Serena goes into the forest so she can try to perform for when travelling to see where she can practice so that she can see how much space she needs. After 15 minutes of walking, she heard a cry. She and her pokemon ran to the cry there they see a serpentine with a blue body and a white underside scratch all over and see a little blood. Serena and her pokemon quickly take the pokemon to professor Sycamore so he could try and heal it.
When they came inside Sycamore was on the videophone with ash next to him while talking to a white bearded man. Serena said sorry about interrupting their conversation. She shows Dratini and quickly ends the conversation with the white bearded man who also saw the wounded serpentine pokemon and ended the call.
After a while did his best but he could see it wasn't enough to heel him. While he was busy serena got the pokedex to see what pokemon it was.
Dratini, The Dragon Pokemon, Dratini dwells near bodies of rapidly flowing water, such as the plunge pools of waterfalls. As it grows, Dratini will shed its skin many times.
Sycamore tells everyone "I can't do much more, but I do know someone who can do more. The person I just talked to was Drayden a dragon type gym leader. Drayden asked for his help because he got 2 dragon pokemon running loose and won't listen to anyone. One of them is a Gible a pre-evolved form of Garchomp and there aren't a lot of people with a Garchomp available, so he was asked to come by and with Ash skill to understand pokemon there is a chance to know why they act like that. So, I am going to inform him that I will go to him to solve his problem I will now also tell of the Dratini you found so he can cure it. We will be going tomorrow at first sun rise."
After hearing that Serena was glad there is someone who can help Dratini. Ash and Serena will stay at Sycamore's lab so they can go fast to the airport. They contacted their moms to inform them, so they packed there close into two easily carrying suitcases for Garchomp to get them
During the night Serena and her pokemon stayed with Dratini so it will not feel alone. Dratini appreciated that and snuggled into Serena's blanket.
After the sun has risen, they all got to the airport to get on the plane to Unova.
They are now in Opelucid city heading to the place where they supposed meet Drayden. But when they came to the location Drayden wasn't there. Sycamore looked at his phone and saw a message that something important suddenly came in between where he should be with and that he will pick them up from their hotel.
So, Ash, Serena and Sycamore have gone to the hotel to their rooms. To kill some time Ash and Serena are going to train a little on the battlefield at the back of the hotel. Ash was training with Golett and Honedge with dodging attacks from Frogadier and Serena was training with Froslass and Braixen for a fire/ice combination. Suddenly a beam came to them and hit Froslass. Everybody was looking at who it was. When they looked at the source, they saw it was from some teenagers with their dragon pokemon. They kept saying to get out of the city with the ice type because it's forbidden to be in the city.
While saying that Froslass was hit again they kept going with different attacks fire, dark and rock before anyone knew it Golett, Pawniard and Honedge stand in between and the teenage trainers Pokémon's receiving the hits. Golett took the fire type attacks, Pawniard took the Dark type attacks and Honedge took the rock type attacks. The teenagers were angry because pokemon defended an ice type, so they called some friends who called out their pokemon who also attack the three pokemon. It almost looks like Golett, Pawniard and Honedge were going to give in but with a cry of Froslass plus Ash and Serena not to give up with that heard the three pokemon glowed and began growing into, a tall humanoid pokemon with blades on the head, torso and arms, a giant with massive five-fingered hands and something like two Honedge forming a X.
Serena and Ash look at the pokedex what there pokemon evolved in to.
Bisharp, the Sword Blade Pokemon, The evolved form of Pawniard, It's accompanied by a large retinue of Pawniard. Bisharp keeps a keen eye on its minions, ensuring none of them even think of double-crossing it.
Golurk, The Automaton Pokemon, The evolved form of Golett ,Artillery platforms built into the walls of ancient castles served as perches from which Golurk could fire energy beams.
Doublade, The Sword Pokemon, The evolved form of Honedge, Honedge evolves into twins. The two blades rub together to emit a metallic sound that unnerves opponents.
With their new power the three evolved pokemon took quickly the offensive by attacking the dragon pokemon. Bisharp slashed through them with guillotine, Doublade attacks with X-Siccors and Golurk attacks with it Shadow punches. With that they quickly defeated the teenagers pokemon. They were about to call more pokemon before a pokémon with a dark, yellow-green covering on its back and most of the front. It has black skin covering its torso came in between roaring at the teenagers. The teenagers knew who's pokemon that was.
They look around only to see Drayden looking angry at them. He said to them that he is disappointed in them attacking Ash and Serena just because of an ice type pokemon because of that he will see them later for the right punishment. Drayden walks to Ash and Serena and apologies for some of his student's behavior and congratulates them for their evolved pokemon. He asked them to follow them to the place where they will meet with Sycamore at his school. After returning all pokemon except Serena's Eevee because she wanted to stay out. They were walking with Drayden to the school.
When they arrived at the school, they were led to a room with Dratini on a table with an old woman taking care for him. Serena was running to Dratini to see how it is. The old women are the village elder from Dragon Village who said "Dratini is still feeling sick she was given her medicine, but she needs to survive long in enough for it to works." Serena asked, "if she could stay with Dratini until the medicine is worked out."
the village elder, Drayden and Sycamore agreed for her to stay with Dratini.
Drayden, Sycamore and Ash are leaving the room to go to the 2 wild dragon pokemon to see if they can help with this problem. When they found the pokemon they were attacking the other pokemon and the students. Ash looked at the pokedex to see what pokemon they were.
Gible, The Land Shark Pokemon, Gible prefers to stay in narrow holes in the sides of caves heated by geothermal energy. This way, Gible can stay warm even during a blizzard.
Jangmo-o, the Scaly Pokemon, They learn to fight by smashing their head scales together. The dueling strengthens both their skills and their spirits.
Quickly Sycamore throws a pokeball in it was Garchomp who stood in front of the two dragon pokemon, while asking why they are attacking. Gible and Jangmo-o kept screaming about something Ash and Garchomp couldn't understand it because they talked fast and unclearly. Gible and Jangmo-o attack Garchomp and ran away. Garchomp didn't know where they went because his sight was block because of the two attacks. But Ash did see them and followed them.
After a while Gible and Jangmo-o stopped running and saw Ash was following them they were about to attack him until ash raised his hands and said "I just want to talk." Gible and Jangmo-o gave him one chance they explained it again. Ash asked "if they could breathe in and out while trying to explain it slowly what happened." Ash heard what happened to them and he understands why they were attacking everyone he told of the pokemon he had what they experienced.
Ash asked "if he could let out his pokemon so they could meet Gible and Jangmo-o." they said nodded. With that Ash released Frogadier, Eevee, Golurk and Doublade. Gible and Jangmo-o were shock how a young kid got these pokemon but after hearing their stories they can understand a little each other. They all made a promise to not tell what happened to them if they stop attacking anyone. After a while the seven of them had much fun with each other. Before they knew it the sky was already orange. Ash saw that and thought how long they were gone, so he said "it is time to go to the others to tell them how it is now."
While Ash was talking with Gible and Jangmo-o, Serena was with her Eevee watching Dratini. The elder left to get more stuff that Dratini needs. Dratini still wasn't feeling well. Eevee and Serena think they were about to see Dratini die because of how weak she became. Serena picked Dratini and Eevee up to show how much they care for each other. Eevee suddenly began to glow and grew bigger with lines coming out of her when the glowing stopped, she was a sum sort of pink dog with ribbons on. She then glows again with trigger Dratini to glow which made it feel better. Dratini moved out of Serena's arms and whirled around her neck while rubbing cheeks together. The evolved eevee saw that and joined in with the cheeks rubbing.
The door opened and there was a shocked village elder. She asked what happened when she herds, she was glad and ask if Dratini is put on the table to check her health for insurance. Serena agreed and laid Dratini on the table. After the village elder was done with her check, she was glad to say that Dratini just need a little rest and then will be completely healed. Serena thanked the village elder and asked what is going to happen to Dratini then.
The village elder had a smile and said "there is already a good trainer for her that you don't have to worry about it." When Serena, evolved eevee and Dratini heard that they were crying thinking they will have to separate. They hug each other for one final time before Serena leaves the room but was stopped by the village elder. She was surprised by the next words that were spoken. The village elder said "you forgot to take Dratini with you." After hearing that Dratini jumped to Serena and they hugged each other. The village elder said "you are the good trainer for Dratini." She Thanked the village elder many times and said she will take great care for her.
With that Serena and the village elder walked to Drayden and Sycamore. They saw Ash wasn't with them. They said he was following the two dragon pokemon. They thought of search for him until him came with all his pokemon out and with Gible and Jangmo-o happy. Serena asked what he was doing. Ash said that he was talking to Gible and Jangmo-o saying he understands why they did it. But he made a promise to them not to tell anyone else while they stop attacking anyone.
Drayden doesn't except it and says "I will send them away." Everybody was shocked by this Ash refused to accept this and challenge Drayden to a battle for Gible and Jangmo-o. Drayden accepts it only if Ash uses Gible and Jangmo-o in the battle. Ash was thinking hard and accepted the terms. Drayden says "we will battle tomorrow in the morning In the Gym." With that said everybody returned to their home/rooms except for Ash he stayed at the battlefield outside of the hotel training for the battle.
Meanwhile Serena used the pokedex on her evolved eevee.
Sylveon, The Intertwining Pokemon, By releasing enmity-erasing waves from its ribbonlike feelers, Sylveon stops any conflict.
it was now morning everybody was at the gym. Serena with Sylveon and Dratini out sat with Sycamore and the village elder in the seats Serena was nervous for Ash this battle will be hard. Sycamore says "Drayden the strongest gym leader in Unova this isn't going to be easy." Ash stood ready with Gible and Jangmo-o at his side. Drayden said "I will be just using one pokemon." That pokemon was a Druddigon. Ash was nervous to go against a gym leader, but he will not back down and then they began the battle.
Ash was battling great using a combination of Gible dig or dragon breath to unbalance or block the sight of Druddigon and then with Jangmo-o headbutting him a lot. It was going well but Drayden expected all of this. After a while both Gible and Jangmo-o were panting because they were getting tired of the battle. Before anyone knew Druddigon grabbed both Gible and Jangmo-o.
Drayden said for Druddigon to use dragon claw on them both. Druddigon used his claws on both and with that both Gible and Jangmo-o were lying on the ground with swirling eyes. Ash was shocked to see he lost. Everybody in the stands were sad that it ended even though Ash was close to win. Ash walked to Gible and Jangmo-o and hugged them while crying because he will mis them.
They all gone to the pokemon center for nurse joy to look at them. After being checked Gible and Jangmo-o ran to Ash with bandages on. Gible and Jangmo-o tackled Ash wanting to be with him one last time before they separate from each other. But as they were doing that Drayden walked up to them. Ash, Gible and Jangmo-o looked at him sad because it was already time to separate. But Drayden said "that you three should stop crying because he wasn't going to separate them." Drayden said "that I used the battle as a test how the three of you will work together against a strong opponent." "you past the test. As reward you can keep Gible and Jangmo-o as your pokemon." Ash, Gible and Jangmo-o look shocked at him and bowed to him saying thank you we won't disappoint you.
With that heard Drayden walked away knowing that Ash will keep that promise. After that Serena with Sylveon and Dratini jumped and hugged ash, Gible and Jangmo-o that they all can stay together. Now both Ash and Serena were going with Sycamore back home to Kalos.
When Sycamore, Ash and Serena got back to Kalos. Sycamore though of something Golurk is a pokemon that can form itself into a rocket and fly to a long distance. So, from now on Golurk can bring Ash and Serena to home and to the lab. When they arrived at the lab ash called out Golurk and asked if he could try it. Golurk did it at ones and it worked it could fly as a rocket. He landed so that Ash and Serena can climb on Golurk so they can fly home.
At home the mothers were waiting for the children but when they heard something like a rocket Grace returned Rhyhorn and they ran inside. They hear a rocket coming closer, but they don't hear an explosion. So, they look out of the window to see a giant pokemon land in front of their house. They were shocked to see Ash and Serena the shoulders of the pokemon. They ran outside thinking Ash and Serena were in danger, but Ash stopped them saying it is Golett that evolved. The mothers were now calm and said sorry to Golurk. Golurk didn't mind it because of the light behind him it was difficult to see that it was him.
the mothers asked " did anything else happened?" So, they have gone around to release the pokemon. the mothers were shocked to see two different and three more pokemon. the mothers congratulated Doublade and Bisharp for their evolution. The dragon pokemon looked at the mothers not knowing who they are. After introduction Dratini rub his head to the leg of Serena's mother. While Gible and Jangmo-o were still confused what a mother is because they didn't know their own. But Ash asked if Gible and Jangmo-o can treat them with respect because they wouldn't do anything to harm anyone. Gible and Jangmo-o looked at each other and nodded.
Delia said "I am going to make some dinner for everyone." After hearing that everybody was happy. Except for Gible and Jangmo-o because it is new to them. They are going to eat outside so they can eat with Golurk because he was too big for in the house. After everybody got their food they were eating with a smile, But Gible and Jangmo-o were first smelling it they looked at each other who will take the first bite. Gible will take the first bite after that he was eating like crazy. Jangmo-o saw it and tried it two he took a first bite after that he was eating like crazy two.
After done they cleaned up and returned Golurk because he wants to be more in the pokeball than outside, everyone understood and felt sorry for Golurk. They need to more than a year for Ash to travel so they don't have to worry about it.
Its 4 weeks later during training Frogadier evolved into Greninja and Braixen evolved into Delphox.
Greninja, the Ninja Pokémon and the final evolved form of Froakie. Greninja can compress water into sharp-edged throwing stars. With the grace of a ninja, it slips in and out of sight to attack from the shadows.
Delphox, the Fox Pokémon and the final evolved form of Fennekin. When Delphox stares into the flame on the tip of its branch to achieve a focus state, it creates a bright hot spiral of fire with its psychic power.
In the next morning Ash and Serena are ready to go to Sycamore's lab. Ash calls out Golurk. After the time Golurk brought Serena and Ash home he is the one that brings them to the lab and home Golurk liked doing it. Flying with Ash and Serena on him. After a while when they arrived Sycamore got a call from the Lumiose City nurse Joy. nurse Joy says "I needs help with the sick pokemon because it is overloading here, and the transport is broken and will be repaired by tomorrow." Sycamore accepts Ash and Serena heard it and want to help they can do the small things while nurse Joy and Sycamore do the more important things. Sycamore accepted it and with Garchomp and Golurk they arrived there quickly.
Everything gone good Greninja and Delphox helped Ash, by giving the less sick pokemon berries they need. While Serena helped nurse Joy and Sycamore by getting stuff they need or helping to place the pokemon on a bed or table. After a while Ash saw they were almost out of Pecha berries, so he gone to the storage to get some more. That was until he felt something strange. Something asking to come to it he didn't know what it was only that he should go to it. he found a room with a white egg with blue dots on it. He came closer to look at it then the egg rolled off the pillow under it and rolled to Ash that's when everybody came through the door finding Ash.
Ash asked "how is it going with the egg." Nurse Joy said that everything is alright with all the pokemon in the pokemon center. She thanks everyone for their help. Ash just thought of the egg. And asked to nurse Joy about it. Nurse Joy said "It is an egg that hasn't hatched for more than three weeks." Nurse Joy then said why will he not take it. The egg did roll to you and the table is flat with the pillow in a hole form so it couldn't move even if the table is hit. Ash thanked nurse Joy for the egg and asked everyone for helping with the egg because this will be his first time with an egg.
Serena, Greninja and Delphox said yes wanting to help. While Sycamore said that he will let them take care of the egg, but he will answer questions if necessary. With that nurse Joy laid the egg in a canister to keep the egg safe during travel. Ash thanked nurse Joy again for the egg and that he will not disappoint her. It was late so Ash and Serena are going home through Golurk.
Three days later at midnight the egg lightens up like a Christmas tree. Ash woke up and saw it he removed the canister from the egg. When the egg hatched the room was in a light Ash covered his eyes because of the light when the light brightened down, he saw a black and blue, dog-like Pokémon on the place where the egg was. When the pokemon opened his eyes, he was shocked where he was. Ash calmly approached him . the baby pokemon attacked him with a wave beam kind of attack.
Because of the attack Delia woke up. When she opened ash's door and saw the baby pokemon she was shocked to see it had hatched. The baby pokemon broke the window and tried to escape but because of the broken window Serena and Grace woke up to see Ash running he was is time to call his pokemon and asked to surround the baby pokemon.
It worked the baby pokemon was surrounded by Greninja, Eevee, Doublade, Golurk, Gible and Jangmo-o. the baby pokemon looked at Golurk and used the move he used on Ash, but it didn't have any effect. Ash came by and said "there is nothing to worry about" to the baby pokemon. The baby pokemon still tried to attack but failed every time it weakens himself. The baby pokemon was breathing heavy Ash again tried to say there is nothing to worry about but didn't believe him but fainted because of tiredness.
Ash and his pokemon returned home with Ash carrying the baby pokemon to see Delia, Serena and Grace outside still in there sleeping clothes. Ash told them what happened, and they were fine with it. Ash asked Serena For the pokedex to see what kind of pokemon the baby pokemon was.
Riolu, the Emanation Pokémon, Riolu can understand how people and Pokémon feel by observing a kind of wave called aura. It has a flexible body with enough power to cross three mountains and two canyons in one night.
They all were surprised that it is a Riolu. They heard there very rare pokemon to find but never saw one. They made a bed for Riolu to sleep in Ash said he wants to be there for when Riolu wakes up again. Ash's pokemon also want to be there for if somethings happen, they are there. Golurk will stay outside for if Riolu tries to run away again.
The next morning Riolu woke up he looked around and saw the same boy from before with the pokemon out. Now he tried to look at their aura and was surprised to see much aura in the boy. Ash woke up with his pokemon. They saw that Riolu is awake he was standing still not moving Riolu hugged Ash. They were shocked to see that happen. Delia walked down the stairs to see Riolu hugging Ash. Ash then said that Riolu now trusts him. She was fine with that and made breakfast for everyone.
After breakfast they heard the door and saw it was Serena asking how it is with Riolu. He said it is fine now that Riolu trusts him now. Serena was happy to hear that. Ash just remembered something he walked to Riolu and asked if he wanted to stay with him. Riolu nodded fast with a smile. Ash grabbed a pokeball and caught Riolu. After that Ash and Serena were ready to go to Sycamore's lab.
When they arrived at Sycamore's lab, Sycamore said next week he will be going to another region for a vacation and to meet another Professor. Sycamore asked if they wanted to come on a vacation to every other assistant, but not any of them wanted to go and like to stay longer at home with peace and quiet. So, he gave them a vacation while he is away so they also can some rest.
But he already had five tickets and asked if Ash and Serena with their mothers want to go with him. Ash and Serena wanted to come with, so they called their moms. They were shocked to hear that and accepted the invitation. So next week they will be flying away to another region for a vacation.
