THE FUTURE

NATSU POV

I was standing on the pile of rebels, where the guild hall was standing before with by best friend/partner Lucy.

"LISTEN UP! WE ARE GONG TO WIN THIS" even I know we are losing "NO MATTER WHAT" " SO WE'LL GIVE IT OUR ALL! THIS IS FAIRY TAIL!" I shout

"YEAAAAAAHHHH!" the whole guild yells

Time skip to 5 months

We were losing. Only me, gray, Lucy, Juvia, Ezra, Jellal and the twin dragon slayers from Sabertooth survived. Lucy's eyes look like they were dead. She and her mate Rouge look devastated. We all did. She lost her daughter Ski who was named after rouge's dragon. She didn't make it to her second birthday. First Lucy blamed herself for not protecting her child and closed herself but after confronting rouge she gained a little courage. Erza and Jellal lost their son too. His name was Reiki he never made it to his fourth birthday.

Jellal and Juvia were with Lucy and the twin dragons speaking about their next move.

I called Gray and Erza to speak alone.

I was holding the book about time travel which Levy gave her life for.

First we didn't know how to use it. But when I read it again a few minutes ago I found a way. It needed three human sacrifices.

"What do you need flame brain" gray asked

"yes what is it Natsu" Erza said

"I found a way to send someone back in time" I said while holding out and showing them the book.

"We can send five people back, but..." I trailed off. "what does it need" Gray asked "*sigh* it needs three human sacrifices."

GRAY POV

"*sigh* it needs three human sacrifices." when torchlight said that we were shocked. But it's worth it. I decided to do it and send Juvia back in time " I'll do it." Erza nods and says " me too" "that means we three will do it right" flame brain said. "That's right" me and Erza said "alright. We will send Lucy, Juvia, Sting, Jellal and Rouge back. No regrets." Erza said with a tint of worry in her voice.

ERZA POV

We gone back to the group that was planning the next move but was interrupted by us " we need to tell you guys something " I said "what is honey" Jellal asked "we found a way to travel back in time. But... only five can go back" I lied and continued" We decided that Lucy, Juvia, Jellal, Sting and Rouge." I finished. They all look shocked.

"NO! I am not leaving you Erza! You will be taking my place!" Jellal shouted angrily.

"it is decided and nobody( Gray, Natsu and Erza) wishes to change that!" I countered

"This decision is final" Gray said and Natsu agreed.

"No Juvia is not leaving Gray-sama here! And why can't you leave and we stay here! And why this group, erza-san, gray-sama and Natsu-san are more powerful than us. You have a better chance to alter it than us." Juvia reasoned.

"About that. This revolves around Lucy. She is the ambassador of the other worlds and she is the only one who can use the keys of the portal. Juvia is Lucy's best friend and second in command. Sting is her big brother and the master of Sabertooth. And without Rouge she can't overcome anything in one piece. As for Jellal he leads crime sorciere and sending him back is of my selfishness." I said.

"But..." Lucy finally spoke.

"No buts this decision is final. Now we are going to perform the ritual. Once the portal opens you ARE going through it" I said sternly

"Wait. I can stay here and they can give it to Yukino. She can open them too." Lucy said.

"No Lucy she does not have enough magic power and authority in the other realms. You are the only one who has both." I said.

GRAY POV

Once Erza finished I walked to Juvia.

"Hey Juvia." once I called her I see her face and she was on verge of tears.

"Gray-sama why did you say OK to this plan." Juvia asked

"Because I want you to live. And besides you'll see me again. so pleases don't cry I don't want to see you cry the last time I see you." I said as tears threatened to fall from my eyes.

"Gray-sama, if you wish to send me back then I'll gladly. But you have to tell me what's the price" she asked. I hesitated and said. "its three human sacrifices"

She looked shocked and her tears started rolling down from her face. I hugged her tightly when I heard Erza "GRAY, NATSU WE ARE GOING TO START THE RITUAL. COME HERE"

I pulled Juvia by her hand to where erza is. I saw everyone there when erza said.

"I know you are a going to ask what the price is" everyone nodded. "*sigh* it needs three human sacrifices to perform the spell. We three will be the price" when erza finished everybody look shocked. The girls fell to the ground when I hugged my mate Juvia and rouge did the same to his mate Lucy. Jellal looked like a white paper. The next second he looked angry and devastated.

"Please don't. I can't lose you too" Jellal said and hugged erza.

"Don't worry, we will meet again" Erza said to everyone.

After the portal opened Juvia hugged me tightly. I kissed her one last time and pushed her in the portal. She screamed with tears pouring from her eyes like waterfall.

"NOOOOOOOO!" I heard Jellal and Lucy scream.

JUVIA POV

After gray pushed me into the portal I started screaming. When I was into the portal I saw rouge wraps his arms around Lucy-sama who was crying. After that everything went black.
