Summary: Peter hosts a big Halloween shindig at the castle in addition to the Rugrats going trick or treating.
It was a beautiful late afternoon in Yucaipa, California as Taffy was babysitting the kids at the Pickles residence and preparing to take them trick or treating while their parents headed toward the castle ahead of time to help Peter get the festivities set up for the kids as his servants already had their hands full with getting things prepared for the adults.
"This is gonna be the bestest Halloween I'll remember now that I'm a year older" said Dil. "And this alium (alien) costume is the coolest" he added.
"Yeah, I can't wait to go trick or treating and gets lots of candy" replied Savannah. "And this costume of my favoritest adventurer Dora the Explorer is awesome as I look just like her" she added.
"Last year, I was a werewuff (werewolf), this time I'm a vampire with these sharp teeth and a cape" said Chuckie as he showed everyone his costume.
"Uh-huh, and I'm dressed up as a little devil that always carries a pitchfork (trident) around" said Kimi as she showed everyone her costume before turning to Angelica. "And there won't be any tricks from you this time, right Angelica" she asked.
"Nope, I figure if I'm going straight from now on, then I better wear this angel costume to perhaps prove that" said Angelica.
"Yeah, this will be my firstest time celebrating Halloween with my bestest friend as You and Me both have angel costumes" replied Zoey.
Angelica nodded in agreement with her best friend.
"Lastest time, Me and Phillip were dressed up as bats" said Lil before Phil cut in.
"Buts this time, were going tricks or treating as bright red lobsters" replied Phil as the twins showed everyone their costumes.
"And I shall go tricks or treating as my favoritest superhero, Super Why" said Zack as he showed everyone his costume.
"It will be a darn rootin tootin good time as I'm dressed up as a cowboy" said Jesse excitedly as he showed everyone his costume.
"And I'm following in my mom's footsteps as I'm dressed up as a doctor" said Susie as she showed everyone her costume.
"This Halloween, I'm going as my favoritest hero Reptar" said Tommy as he showed everyone his costume.
"I think we all have really cool costumes for Halloween" said Zoey.
"And we're sure to get lots of goodies this year" added Angelica.
The others nodded in agreement. Then Taffy came into the living room.
"Hey minis, are you all set to go trick or treating" asked Taffy.
All the kids nodded yes.
"Great, let's get started" said Taffy.
"Hey Taffy, are you wearing anything for Halloween this year" asked Angelica.
"Yes I will, but you'll all see what my costume will be later when we go to Peter's castle after you've finished trick or treating" replied Taffy.
"I see" replied Angelica.
The other kids nodded in agreement as everyone got their Halloween bags and buckets and started going around the neighborhood trick or treating.
"Trick or treat" said the kids in unison.
"Alright little ones, here's your candy" said the neighbors.
The Rugrats, Angelica, Susie and Zoey were making good progress on getting their bags and buckets filled with candy.
"I can't wait to eat all this later at the castle" said Angelica.
"Yeah, You and Me both have big sweet tooth's" replied Zoey.
"All in good time girls, all in good time" said Susie.
The others nodded in agreement as they continued going around the neighborhood trick or treating. At last, the kids covered the whole neighborhood and were back at the Pickles residence getting ready to head for Peter's castle as night fell.
"Alright minis, we're off to Peter's castle for the Halloween party" said Taffy.
"Yay" cheered all the kids in unison.
Soon, everyone was off to Peter's castle. Eventually, everyone arrived at the castle and were at the front doorstep as Taffy rang the doorbell. Within seconds a Nutcracker answered the door and greeted everyone.
"Greetings friends and welcome to Peter's Halloween party" said a familiar voice.
"Peter is that really you" asked Angelica.
Peter lifted his costume head off and revealed himself.
"Why yes it is Angelica" said Peter. "I figure if I'm hosting this Halloween shindig, I might as well join in the spirit of fun" he added.
Everyone laughed as they were led inside the castle. As they walked through the hall towards the dining room, there was plenty of Halloween décor ranging from carved out Jack-o-Lantern's to lots of Halloween themed balloons.
"Wow, you really went all out on this Halloween party Peter" said Zoey.
"Thank you, all of your parents, my servants and myself can all share credit here with making this possible" replied Peter.
"The minis are sure going to remember this" said Taffy. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to change into my costume" she added.
Taffy then went into another room to change into her Halloween costume for the party.
"Before you all dig into your Halloween candy, there are plenty of fun Halloween activities for you to do" said Peter.
"Really" went Phil and Lil in unison.
"Yes, follow me and I'll show you" said Peter.
Peter led everyone towards the playroom where activities such as pin the tail on the donkey and coloring books and crayons were all laid out as the kids gazed at it in awe.
"You girls up for some friendly competition at pinning the tail on the donkey" asked Angelica.
"You're on" replied Susie and Zoey in unison.
"I'll blindfold the three of you when your turns come up" said Peter.
"Wow, there's lots of neat crayons to color those books in" said Chuckie.
"Uh-huh, why don't we see what's inside those coloring books" replied Kimi.
The other Rugrats nodded in agreement as they got to work.
"I'm coloring in these pages of Dora the Explorer, Boots the Monkey and Little Monster trick or treating as well as catching stars along the way" said Savannah.
"That's pretty cool" replied Dil. "And I'm coloring in these sheets of friendly looking aliums (aliens) in different colors" he added.
"My colorings of these witches and goats (ghosts) will look cooler than yours Lillian" said Phil.
"Nuh-uh Phillip, I'm coloring in these sheets of gobblies (goblins) and monsters and they are even scarier than yours" replied Lil.
"I'm coloring in these pages of Super Why and all his friends having a super Halloween" said Zack.
"I'm coloring in these pages of kids in different costumes going tricks or treating, just likes us" said Chuckie.
"Uh-huh, that's pretty cool" replied Kimi. "And I'm coloring in these pages of a girl and a cat flying high in the sky on a broom and a boy standing next to a pumpkin with his dog popping out in surprise" she said.
"I'm coloring in these sheets full of different Halloween candy" said Jesse.
"And I'm coloring in these pages of my favorite hero Reptar" replied Tommy.
"Okay girls, ready to play pin the tail on the donkey" asked Peter.
"Yes" replied the girls in unison.
"Alright the, Angelica we will blindfold and spin you around first" said Peter.
"I'm ready" replied Angelica.
Peter blindfolded Angelica and spun her around as she attempted to pin the tail on the donkey. When Angelica felt the sheet of paper, she pinned the donkey's tail on it and took off her blindfold to see she pinned it on the donkey's mouth.
"He-he-he-he" chuckled Susie and Zoey in unison.
"That's okay Angelica, not everyone gets it pinned in the right place on the first try sometimes" assured Susie.
"Thanks Susie, why don't you give it a try next" said Angelica.
Susie nodded as Peter blindfolded Susie and spun her around as she attempted to pin the tail on the donkey. When Susie felt the sheet of paper, she pinned the donkey's tail on it and took of her blindfold to see she pinned it in the middle instead of the donkey's back.
"He-he-he-he" chuckled Angelica and Zoey in unison.
"That's alright Susie, we're chuckling with you, it's only a friendly competition after all" said Angelica.
"Thanks Angelica" replied Susie. "Hey Zoey, why don't you give it a try now" she said.
"Okay, it will be fun to see how close I get" said Zoey.
Peter then blindfolded Zoey and spun her around as she attempted to pin the tail on the donkey. When Zoey felt the sheet of paper, she pinned the donkey's tail on it and took off her blindfold to see she pinned it in the right spot on the donkey's back.
"I did it, I pinned the tail on the donkey" said Zoey.
"Yay" cheered Angelica and Susie in unison.
"Congratulations Zoey" said Peter.
"Thanks guys" replied Zoey.
"Why don't we see if the rest of the crew is ready for another Halloween themed activity" suggested Peter.
The girls nodded in agreement as they headed to the table where the Rugrats had finished coloring in their masterpieces.
"We just came over to see if you guys are ready for the next activity" said Peter.
"Yes we are as we have just finished our work" replied Tommy.
The other Rugrats nodded in agreement.
"In that case, who is up for some witch bowling" asked Peter.
"Me" shouted all the kids in unison.
In no time, Peter set up the game for the kids.
"Ooooh, those bowling pins look kinda ghostly" said Chuckie.
"Don't worries Chuckie, they're not real, I thinks they were just decorated to make our game a lot more fun" replied Kimi.
"She's right Chuckie" added Peter. "It's just like the décor that's all around the castle" he said.
"Oh, okay" replied Chuckie.
"Have fun kids" said Peter. "I'll be back in a little while" he added.
Peter then left the room to let the kids to play their bowling game.
"Here I go" said Susie as she got in position.
She stood back, rolled the beach ball and knocked down all the pins.
"Yeah, I got a strike" exclaimed Susie.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"Let me try next" said Angelica.
Angelica took her position, rolled the ball and knocked down all the pins.
"Yay I got a strike as well" cheered Angelica.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"Me next, I wants to go nextest" said Kimi.
Kimi took her position and knocked down seven of the ten pins.
"No worries, I'll get the last ones on this next turn" said Kimi.
She got in position as she rolled the ball and knocked down the last three pins.
"Yay, I did it, I knocked all the pins down" said Kimi.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I wanna go nextest" said Tommy as he stood up.
Tommy took his position as he rolled the ball and knocked down nine of the ten pins.
"Just one more to gets" said Tommy.
Tommy took position as he rolled the ball and knocked the last pin down.
"Yay I knocked all the pins down" cheered Tommy.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I wanna go next" said Jesse.
Jesse stood back as he rolled the ball and knocked all ten pins.
"Yay I got a strike" exclaimed Jesse.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I wants a turn next" said Dil as he stood up.
Dil took his position as he rolled the ball and knocked five out of ten pins.
"I can do this, I'll get the last ones standing" said Dil with a determined look.
Dil stood back as he took position again as he rolled the ball and knocked the last five pins.
"I did it, I knocked all the pins" said Dil.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I wanna go next" said Zoey as she got up.
Zoey took her position as she rolled the ball and knocked down all ten pins.
"Yay I got a strike" cheered Zoey.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"My turn next" said Savannah as she stood up.
Savannah took her position as she rolled the ball and knocked down five of the ten pins.
"I'm gonna get those last pins this time" said Savannah with a determined look.
Savannah got in position again, rolled the ball and knocked the last five pins down.
"I did it, I knocked them all down" said Savannah.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I guess I'm nextest" said Chuckie.
Chuckie took his position as he rolled the ball and knocked all ten pins down.
"I gots a strike" exclaimed Chuckie.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"My turn to try" said Zack as he stood up.
Zack took his position as he rolled the ball and knocked down nine of the ten pins.
"Just that last pin to knock down" said Zack.
Zack got into position again as he rolled the ball and knocked the last pin down.
"Piece of cake" said Zack.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I wanna go nextest" said Lil as she got up.
Lil got into position as she rolled the ball and knocked down seven of the ten pins.
"I'm gonna get those last pins standing" said Lil.
Lil took her position again, rolled the ball and knocked the last three pins down.
"I gotted all the pins" said Lil.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"My turn" said Phil as he stood up.
Phil took his position as he rolled the ball and knocked down six of the ten pins.
"Those pins wont be standing up for long" said Phil.
Phil got into position again as he rolled the ball and knocked the last four pins down.
"Aw that was easy" said Phil.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"That was a cool game of witch bowling" said Zoey.
"Yeah, I guess there wasn't anything spooky about the game with those pins looking likes ghosts" added Chuckie.
The others nodded in agreement just as Peter came into the room.
"Are you bowlers ready for the next activity" asked Peter.
All the kids nodded in agreement as Peter set up the next game.
"The next activity will be witches hat ring toss" said Peter.
"Yay" cheered all the kids in unison.
"Have fun" said Peter as he left the room again.
Zoey volunteered to go first.
"Here I go" said Zoey as she got in position.
Zoey stood her distance and threw her ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"I did it, my ring landed on the target" said Zoey.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I wanna try nextest" said Tommy as he got into position.
Tommy stood half the distance and threw his ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"Yay, I reached the target" said Tommy.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I'd like to try" said Angelica as she took her position.
Angelica stood her distance and threw her ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"Piece of cake" said Angelica.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"My turn now" said Dil as he got in position.
Dil stood half the distance and threw his ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"I did it, I reached the target" said Dil.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I wanna try now" said Savannah as she got into position.
Savannah stood half the distance and threw her ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"Yay, my ring landed on the target" said Savannah.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I like to give it a go" said Jesse as he got into position.
Jesse stood half the distance and threw his ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"Ya-hoo, my ring reached the target" said Jesse.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I wanna go nextest" said Kimi as she got in position.
Kimi stood half the distance and threw her ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"I did it, I reached the target" said Kimi.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I guess I'm nextest" said Chuckie as he got into position.
Chuckie stood his distance and threw his ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"I did it, my ring landed on the target" said Chuckie.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"My turn next" said Zack as he took position.
Zack stood half the distance and threw his ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"There's nothing to it" said Zack.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I'm up next" said Susie as she got into position.
Susie stood her distance and threw her ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"That was easy as pie" said Susie.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"I wanna go nextest" said Lil as she took her position.
Lil stood half the distance and threw her ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"Yay, my ring reached the target" said Lil.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"Let's see you beat that Phillip" said Lil.
"I will" said Phil with a determined look as he got into position.
Phil stood half the distance and threw his ring and it landed on the witches hat.
"Awww, it was nothing" said Phil.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
At that moment, Peter returned.
"Are you kids ready to try and bust open the pinata" asked Peter.
"Yeah" shouted all the kids in unison.
Peter got the pinata all set up and everyone except Dil and Savannah got a turn.
"It looks like we'll be sitting this one out Dil" said Savannah.
"Yeah, You and Me won't be able to hit the peanutter (pinata) acause we're too little" replied Dil.
"Relax guys, the rest of us will try to bust open the peanutter (pinata) and get the candy" said Angelica.
"Yeah, don't worry guy's you will get to hit the peanutter (pinata) one day" added Tommy.
Dil and Savannah smiled. Soon, the rest of the kids tried their luck hitting the pinata blindfolded. Eventually, Angelica broke open the pinata and a lot of candy fell out.
"Candy" exclaimed all the kids in unison.
All the kids scooped up the candy as Peter spoke up.
"Are you all ready to head towards the dining room to join the party" asked Peter.
"Yeah" replied all the kids in unison.
"Before we do, I thought maybe you all would like to see what Taffy's Halloween costume is like" said Peter.
All the kids nodded as Taffy stepped into the playroom with her rock and roll costume.
"Wow" went the kids in unison.
"You look like a rock star with that costume" said Angelica.
"Yeah" replied Susie and Zoey in unison.
"Thanks minis" replied Taffy. "Let's all go join the party" she added.
Everyone nodded in agreement as they made their way to the dining room where the party goers (in costumes of course) were and there bags and buckets of candy were there, as well as more treats and desserts.
"Wow" went the kids in unison.
"Let's party" exclaimed Angelica in unison.
"Yeah" shouted the other kids in unison.
Soon everyone enjoyed the music, the treats, the Halloween décor, and pretty much everything Peter's Halloween party had to offer.
"This is the bestest Halloween party I've eber been to" said Tommy.
"Oh yeah, this is fun" replied Phil and Lil in unison.
"I'm glad there were no spooky surprises this time" said Chuckie.
"Uh-huh, we had more treats than tricks this year, right Angelica" asked Kimi as she turned to Angelica.
"Oh yes, I'm glad I got to have a lot more fun this Halloween than last year" replied Angelica.
"That's for sure and I'm glad you behaved yourself well and not trick anybody with scary lies like you used to" Zack thought to himself.
"Yeah, this Halloween party along with trick or treating has been a real blast with my bestest friend" said Zoey.
"It's fun getting to dress up like somebody we like for Halloween" said Savannah.
"Yeah, this is too cool" replied Dil.
"We should do Halloween shindigs like this more often" said Jesse.
"Don't worry, I'm sure we will have plenty of opportunities like this in the future" replied Susie.
Eventually, the kids dug into their bags and buckets with their Halloween goodies. However, with big sweet tooth's that Angelica and Zoey have, both girls ate up so much candy that both of them ended up getting tummy aches.
"Oooooh" went Angelica and Zoey in unison.
"I think You and Me had quite enough sweets for one night" said Zoey.
"Yeah, I completely forgot about that when You and I had that cookie eating contest on that big ship" added Angelica.
At that moment, Peter and Taffy caught up to the kids.
"Oooh, It looks like you two girls aren't feeling too good" said Peter.
Angelica and Zoey nodded in agreement.
"Don't worry minis, I'll take you over to Angelica's house and babysit you there to rest until your folks are finished having a ball at this party" said Taffy.
Angelica and Zoey nodded in agreement.
"It's a good thing the tummy aches didn't come until much much later or we would have missed out on all the fun" said Angelica.
"Yeah, sweets are neat, but I think we should let our tummies rest and finish the sweets later when we're feeling better again" added Zoey.
"It was the greatest Halloween party ever" said Angelica and Zoey in unison. "Thanks for inviting us all Peter" they added.
The other kids smiled and nodded.
"Your welcome" replied Peter.
Then Peter and Taffy helped Angelica and Zoey with what was left of their Halloween treats as they headed for the car and Taffy drove them off to Angelica's house as Peter caught up to the rest of the kids again as the Halloween shindig was starting to die down.
"So, did you all enjoy what my Halloween party had to offer" asked Peter.
"Yeah" shouted Susie and the Rugrats in unison.
"Can we do something like this again next year" asked Jesse.
"We'll play it by ear and we will see" replied Peter.
"Okay" replied Jesse.
The others nodded in agreement. Soon, the parents rounded up their kids and headed off for home to call it a night. All the kids and their parents agreed that this Halloween will indeed be one for the memory books.
