Saratoga huffed as she paced up and down the room. "Why hasn't anything gone right today?" she moaned, before falling heavily onto her bed, "Well, my next prank will make up for it!" she giggled, thinking of the chaos that would unravel. She slowly sat up on her bed and grabbed the packet of sherbet that she bought earlier in the day, before pouring some into her hand and putting it into her mouth, she swizzled it around in her mouth for a bit. "Bleurgh! Is there a hair in here?" she pondered pulling the offending item from her mouth. Her eyes went wide, she slowly looked down into the packet of sherbet, before she dropped the packet onto the floor, for a moment she just sat there, shaking and sweating, before she yelled a blood-curdling scream.
It was a fairly sunny day on the base, and I was heading towards the infirmary, with a bunch of flowers in my hand and a bunch of grapes in a paper bag, I made my way inside and reached the room that I needed, I was about to knock on the door when Vestal came rushing out, and by the looks of it she looked rather tired. "Umm…excuse me…"
"Sorry not right now!" she responded as she rushed down corridor.
"I've come to see-"
"Notrightnowjustgoin!" she hastily said as she made her way out of the building without so much as acknowledging me in the slightest. To be honest, I was in two minds about actually going into the ward, but in the end, she did give me permission so…I could always apologise later if I made a mistake. I walked through the double doors, and almost immediately I could see who I was looking for. I didn't think that I'd have any time to visit her, with Hornet Senpai out on commission and Indianapolis senpai in the infirmary after the last exercise, it left me with all the paperwork. My name is Myoukou, and I'm the junior apprentice detective for ALABI. I could see Indianapolis senpai clearly, her bed was the one with Portland senpai kneeling next to it, and I could tell that Indianapolis senpai was not happy at all.
"Are you going to be okay Indy chan?" Portland sniffled "I'm sorry that you got hurt in the exercise, if I'd been paying more attention, you wouldn't have gotten hurt~"
"Onii chan…It wasn't your fault…"
"No! It was all my fault! So, to make up for it, I'll make sure that you're nice and warm tonight, by sleeping with you and keeping you warm with my body~!" Indianapolis senpai turned her head away from her sister.
"Onii chan…shut up…" she groaned. I gave a loud cough to indicate my presence, the two sisters turned their heads towards me, I think Indianapolis senpai might have been pleased to see me, her sister on the other hand…
"Who are you? You can't have Indy chan! She's mine!" Portland san yelled grabbing Indianapolis senpai's head and pushing it into her breasts in a very tight embrace, Indianapolis senpai trying her best to push herself away.
"Onii chan…go away…"
"You can't have Indy chan! She's my sister!"
"I'm not going to do anything to Indianapolis senpai, I just wanted to have a private conversation with her."
"Oh, okay then."

"I did say a private conversation Portland san…"
"And…?"
"That means between the two of us…"
"You can say anything to me…" her face turned somewhat angry for a moment "Unless you want to take Indy chan from me!"
"Onii chan!" Indianapolis senpai growled, causing the sister ship to turn her head towards her "Myoukou has some important information that she needs to tell me, and me alone, if you continue to persevere you might be found guilty of perverting the court of justice, and sent to jail." I didn't know what Indianapolis senpai was talking about, I only wanted to see how she was doing, however Portland san looked distraught.
"B-but you'd still visit me…right…?" she whimpered.
"I don't know…Hornet might not give me permission to see you…" Poor Portland san looked mortified, and on the verge of tears. "Of course" Indianapolis senpai quickly added "If you let Myoukou here talk to me in private you wouldn't be arrested." Portland san seemed a little pleased with that.
"Okay then Indy chan! I'll see you later tonight and make sure that you're nice and warm~!" she chirped almost skipping out of the door. Once she left Indianapolis senpai rolled over in the bed and groaned.
"I wanna go to sleep…"
"Hey! Indianapolis senpai! You can't go to sleep yet! I want to have a chat with you, don't you think that was mean of you to threaten your sister like that?" Indianapolis senpai rolled over back towards me.
"She's been kneeling there almost all day, so forgive me if I felt a little bored with her appearance, also stop calling me that…" In order to cheer her up I presented her with my get well soon gifts.
"Here…I got you some flowers!"
"Oh, okay…"
"And I got you some grapes too!" Indianapolis gave the same response. "You don't sound very pleased senpai." I sighed.
"Sorry…but listening to Portland all day has made me somewhat tired…also, stop calling me that." she sighed back as she rolled over to the other side of the bed. I looked all around the ward, there seemed to be a lot more patients in here than usual.
"Hey! Indianapolis senpai, it seems quite a bit busier than normal." I pointed out.
"Stop calling me that…" she groaned. I looked at all the patients that were in the beds, and I spotted something unusual.
"Hey is that Albacore?" I asked "She wasn't in the exercise was she?"
"No" Indianapolis senpai replied, indicating that she wanted to be left alone, however my curiosity got the better of me.
"What happened to her then?"
"Something blew up in her face, apparently…"
"Oh dear! How dreadful! Hey isn't that Abercrombie? She wasn't in the exercise either…"
"Yeah, apparently she got an electric shock…"
"From where?" I asked.
"Her door handle apparently…" I gave a puzzled look.
"You can't get electric shocks from door handles?"
"Well maybe I was mistaken then…" At that moment both Vestal and Akashi rushed into the room, each holding one of Saratoga's arms, while the aircraft carrier was thrashing about and screaming at the top of her lungs.
"THE LEGS! THE LEGS! THE HORRIBLE HAIRY LEGS!"
The two of us looked each other in the eyes as the two repair ships were busy strapping Saratoga to one of the beds. "Hey, senpai, do you think that someone is pulling horrible pranks on other pranksters?"
"Possibly…and stop calling me that!" she muttered.
"What are we going to do?"
"Well, there's nothing we can do…"
"Well, I could solve this case for you senpai!" Indianapolis senpai looked me in the eyes.
"What do you mean? And stop calling me that."
"Well, if we let this maniac run loose who knows where they'd stop!"
"…You have a point, but can you even accomplish this on your own? Without either me of Hornet?"
"I want to give it a try Senpai! I want to prove how far I've come!"
"Stop calling me that!" she groaned "Fine…I'll contact Hornet to explain what's going on, and I'll try and convince Vestal to give us some sort of reward…"
"We can't charge her for this!" I exclaimed "Look at how she is!"
"…And that's why you'll never earn any money…" Indianapolis sighed as she rolled over in her bed and faced the other wall.
"So then Senpai! Where would I start?"
"I dunno…you're on your own from now kid…and stop calling me that…"
"Oh…right…okay…" I stuttered "Don't worry senpai, I won't let you down!" Indianapolis senpai gave a sigh.
"I'd advise you not to disturb Vestal at this time considering how busy she is…also. Stop. Calling. Me. That!"
"Okay then…" I tried my best not to add 'senpai' there "I'll do my best!" And with that I made my way out of the ward and eventually, out of the infirmary. "Now then," I muttered "where do I start?"
