Hello, fellow Fanimaniacs! It's ya gurl Leela, back from Florida and extraordinarily sunburnt/covered with bug bites! It was great, though. The sand was like freaking powdered sugar. I got to swim in a super warm pool and a super warm ocean every day, and I saw the In the Heights movie the day it came out (it is an emotional masterpiece btw, I was sobbing even though I knew the story already)!
Sorry it took so long to get something out, I was super busy with school (it JUST ended on June 23, I think they prolonged it because of having to do virtual school for part of the year), among other things.
Also... in two days, I'm turning 13! That's right, on Friday, July 2nd, I will OFFICIALLY BE A TEENAGER! Whoop whoop! I will try to get something out that day, but with all the festivities, I probably won't have time. I'll still write something in honor of the occasion, however!
Sooo... *awkward coughing* I may or may not have written barely more than a few sentences on any of my stories for the past two weeks... *more coughing* Yeah, writer's block has been unkind... *ahem* Still, since I know you guys have been waiting forever, I felt the need to post something. So here it is, the first-ever thing I wrote for Animaniacs! It's actually a poem I wrote for music class, right before the big cough cough shut everything down. It is not my first fanfic, however, as I had never even heard of fanfiction at this point.
One last thing before I wrap up this obnoxiously long description: The one-year starting and ending anniversaries for my first two fanfics have passed! I wrote my first-ever fic, For All of Them, on May 3rd, 2020- the day after I first discovered fanfiction. I remember being so excited about writing it that I dreamed about it! My second story, Zany to the Max: The Beginning, was started 10 days later on May 13, 2020, and wrapped up on June 13, 2020. An interesting fact about this one: I didn't originally have a name for either of these but had no trouble coming up with For All of Them's title. ZttM's title was a little trickier and was originally called The Warners and Me: Our Biggest One Yet (Our biggest one being our biggest obstacle), but I didn't like that one very much and scrapped it.
Wowza. Sorry for the long A.N, I just had a lot of news after not updating for three weeks during such a busy time. I'll shut up now, enjoy!
Animaniacs! (WOW SUCH AN ORIGINAL TITLE)
Animaniacs is my favorite show,
It makes me want to get up and go!
It features the Warners, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot,
It's funny, it makes me laugh a lot!
Yakko's the oldest, as his name suggests,
He is a lot chattier than all the rest!
He wisecracks, he's my crush, he's the best of the best,
This toon's my favorite because he's got zest!
Wakko's the middle, just like Yakko,
He lives up to his name, he really is wacko!
He's always hungry, he'll eat anything,
Anything at all, even a swing!
There's one more Warner I haven't mentioned a lot,
She's the youngest sibling, the Warner Sister Dot!
She's cute and as sweet as honey pie,
But be warned! Call her Dottie and you die!
Well there we go! I told you the show,
The one that makes me want to get up and go!
At the store, you can find their DVDs stacked high on the shelf,
So go out, buy them and watch it yourself!
