Note: Welcome everyone! This is the fifth book of Histories. I'm suggest to read Histories: New Journey (1st), Histories: Across The Stars (2nd), Histories: Unveil The Truth (3rd), and Histories: Mysterious Tale (4th) before reading this to understand the story better.

My OC, Historian or Tory, is in third incarnation, looking like Dafne Keen with long black hair with lob haircut and brown eyes that seems darker than her first incarnation, with appareance around 11-12 years old. She's wearing light yellow t-shirt below crimson overall dress, white socks, and red-and-white sneakers.

Enjoy the reading!

1. A Surprise In America

Tory looks at her wristwatch, checking the time. According to the plan, they should be arrive at this time. She truly hope they'll arrive soon, since she need to see them.

Not far away from her location, a yellow school bus stops. She smiles when sees Amy and Rory step off, both carrying backpacks. "Uh! This is it, yeah? The right place?" Amy asked, looking around as the bus drives off.

"Nowhere, middle of? Yeah, this is it," Rory agreed.

"Howdy, all!" She greeted in American accent, leaning closer to a 1960s station wagon she may or may not steal.

"Tory!" Amy called.

"Hello, Amy! Hey, Rory!" She said and hugs them.

"So the Doctor's been a busy boy then, eh?"

"Well, you know him. He can be quite problematic," the Time Lady shrugged. "Which is why I don't invite him here. This is just gonna be a secret meeting between us."

"Nice shoes," Rory complimented on her cowboy boots.

"Thanks. It's really hard to find these shoes."

They hear a gun fires and Tory proceed to takes her sword, ready fight someone... only to lowers it down when finding River's standing not far from their place, blows on the muzzle. But that's not the only reason. Beside her, there's a blonde girl that she never thought she would see again.

"Hello, cupcake," River greeted. "I thought you like to meet someone."

"Jenny," she whispered before hugging her tight, surpising Amy and Rory, but not too much for River and the blonde woman who also hugs her back.

"Hiya, Auntie," she greeted as they let go of the hug.

"AUNTIE?!" Amy and Rory yelled in absolute shock.

Tory, River, and Jenny glance at each other before laughing. Oh, this is gonna be entertaining day.

Jenny soon rides them into a diner with the car. Tory kept insisting she drives it, but Amy and Rory are not too keen of having an elementary child riding a car. Especially the last time when they're still in the TARDIS, Tory nearly caused some accident with a plane.

While Amy and Rory take their drink at the counter, Tory and River check their diary, with Jenny sits beside Tory, drinking her drink.

"Right then, where are we?" River asked, flipping her diary. "Have we done Easter Island yet?"

"Leeet seee... yeah, we've got Easter Island!" Tory informed.

"They worshipped you there! Have you seen the statues?"

"Yeah. You should see the Doctor's reaction. Man, he looks so embarrass with the statue of him!" She giggles, which also makes River laughs as well. Amy and Rory soon join them. "Oh. How about Jim the Fish?"

"Oh, Jim the Fish!" River smiles. "How is he?"

"Last time we check, he's still building his dam. Took some work to convinced him."

"And some materials for the dam," Jenny added with a secretive smile.

Rory frowns. "Sorry, what are you two doing?"

"They're time travellers, so they never meet in the right order. They're syncing their diaries," Amy explained. "So what's happening, then? Because you've been up to something. And the Doctor's not here."

"I just wanna spend more times with you all, that's all!" Tory shared, drinking her orange juice. "Beside, this is important! Which is why, again, I invited you all without the Doctor."

Amy nods. "Okay, we're here, what's up?"

"A picnic! And then a trip. Somewhere... special."

"Where?"

"Well, Space 1969, of course!"

Rory, Amy, Jenny, and River glances at each other, confusion can be see on their face, which Tory doesn't mind to tell them the truth.

"Salut!" Tory said as she's holding a glass of wine, just like others, while sitting on a picnic blanket on Lake Silencio, Utah.

"Salut!" They all cheer and drink.

"So when are we going to 1969?" Rory asked.

"And since when do you drink wine?" Amy added. "You never drink wine."

"Amy, I'm 303 years old, I can drink wine as much as I want to," Tory insisted and drink it without problem.

"303? You were 118 the last time we saw you and the Doctor."

"Speaking of Dad," Jenny interjected, not noticing the weird face on Amy and Rory at Jenny. After all, they just find out the Doctor has a daughter, who were presumed dead, just appears with them. "Where is he?"

"Oh, you know, stuff to do with the TARDIS," she shrugged. "Especially after last incident."

"Who's that?" Amy frowns, looking at the dunes.

"Who's who?" Rory asked.

Amy looks at Rory. "Sorry, what?"

"What did you see? You said you saw someone."

"No, I didn't."

"Yeah, you did," Jenny argued.

"Man, Amy, you're getting old for forgetting stuffs like that," Tory pointed out. "Better not doing that after this. You're still young. Don't get cranky when you're still not having children."

A pickup truck pulls onto the sand behind them and an older man steps out. Tory soon stands and holds up a hand in a wave.

"Who's he?" Jenny asked as she, Amy, Rory, and River stand.

"Oh, my God!" River muttered, looking at the lake, when an astronaut stands in the lake.

Tory takes a step. "Don't follow me," she warned, suddenly sounds serious. "And whatever happens after this, don't stop it. Okay?" She looks at them, who nods, giving River one last glance before walking to the astronaut.

"That's an astronaut," Rory pointed out. "That's an Apollo astronaut in the lake."

"Yeah," Amy agreed as Tory stands in front of the astronaut on the beach. They watch silently as she speaks with the astronaut before lifting her head as the astronaut raises its arm.

"What's she doing?" Jenny wondered.

Suddenly, before they know it, the astronaut fires and Tory staggers backwards, holding her chest in pain.

"Tory!" Amy and Rory rush toward her but Jenny and River hold them back.

"Amy! Rory! Stay back!" River reminded them.

"She said not to stop her!" Jenny added, depsite her hearts broken for witnessing the astronaut fires again and Tory falls to the ground, looks more in pain. She wants to help her, helping her father's sister, but she can't stop this. She just... feels like she can't interfere.

"No!" Amy disagreed, wants to help Tory.

"You have to stay back!" River insisted.

"No! Historian!" Rory shouted in absolute fear as Tory slowly stands, wrapping herself as yellow-orange energy begins to waft from her hands.

"Auntie!" Jenny yelled, concern, while keeping Rory steps more closer.

The Time Lady looks over to his friends. She simply smiles, as if she never got hurt before before spreading her arms back as the regeneration starts in earnest. The astronaut fires again and Tory collapses to the ground.

This time, neither River and Jenny can let this happen either.

"No! Tory!" River screamed as they all run to her body, while the astronaut slowly walks back into the lake.

"Tory, please!" Amy begged as she, River, and Jenny kneel beside her body and River takes readings of the Time Lady's vital signs with her handheld device.

"River... is she still alive?" Jenny asked. "Well? Is she?"

She gets her answer when the device whirrs and beeps. Amy looks at River in despair. "River... no."

In anger, Jenny stands up, takes her gun that she often wears for protection, and fires her gun at the astronaut, not even bother that it doesn't cause damage ro the astronaut suit, until she runs out of ammunition. She lowers her gun, closing her eyes from having a breakdown.

"River, she can't be dead," Rory cried, kneeling beside Amy.

"This is impossible," Amy insisted.

River takes a deep breath. "Whatever that was, it killed her in the middle of her regeneration cycle. Her body was already dead... and didn't make it to the next one."

"Maybe she's a clone or a duplicate or something," Jenny reasoned, trying to find a way so this isn't really happening. This whole thing is too much like last time, when she got herself shot to protect the Doctor.

The man from the truck has walked down to them. "I believe I can save you some time. That most certainly is the Historian, and she is most certainly dead. She said you'd need this." He sets a gas tank at Tory's feet.

Rory frowns. "Gasoline?"

"A Time Lord's body is a miracle. Even a dead one. There are whole empires out there who'd rip this world apart for just one cell," River explained. "We can't leave her here. Or anywhere."

Amy shakes Tory's body. "Wake up!" She pleaded. "Go on, wake up, you stupid, maniac girl! Do you forget your promise to be on my side when my children will born? What about your brother? What do you think he react about this?!" She covers her eyes. "What do we do, Rory?"

"We're her friends and family," Rory simply replied, looking solemn.

River nods and picks up the gas can. "We do what we always do. We honour her."

Jenny spots a boat. "There's a boat."

"If we're going to do this... let's do it properly," Rory suggested, carrying her body.

All of them stand on the shore and watch as Tory's body burn in absolute solemn.

"Who are you?" River asked the man. "Why did you come?"

"Same reason as you," he replied, pulls envelope from pocket. After a moment's hesitation, River pulls out hers and looks at him. "Dr. Song... Jenny... Amy... Rory. I'm Canton Everett Delaware III. I won't be seeing you again. But... you'll be seeing me," he added, picks up gas can and heads back to his truck.

River watches him go before turning to Amy, Rory, and Jenny. "4."

"Sorry, what?" Rory frowns.

"Tory numbered the envelopes," Jenny realized, remembering what River said to her when contacted her in Messaline.

They soon enter the diner again. "You got 3, I was 2, Mr. Delaware was 4."

"So?" Rory frowns.

"Where's 1?" Jenny inquired.

"You think he invited someone else?"

"She must have. She planned all of this," River elaborated.

"Will you shut up? It doesn't matter," Amy remarked.

"She was up to something."

"She's dead."

"Space 1969, what did she mean by that?" Jenny pondered.

"You three still talking, but it doesn't matter," Amy insisted.

"Hey, it mattered to her," Rory reasoned.

"So it matters to us," River finished.

"She's dead. And sooner or later, the Doctor will know," Amy lamented, can't even bare to think how the Doctor's gonna react regarding these event.

"But she still needs us. I know. Amy... I know. But right now we have to focus."

Rory spots something on one of the tables. "Look," he gestures at another envelope just like them and talks to the person behind the counter. "Excuse me, who was sitting over there?"

"Some guy and girl," he replied.

River picks up the envelope. "Tory knew she was going to her death, so she sent out messages. When you know it's the end, who do you call?"

"Your friends, your family, and people you trust," Jenny answered.

River nods while holds it up. "Number 1. Who did the Historian trust the most?"

At that moment, the back door opens and in strolls the Doctor, a straw in his mouth, and Tory, a candy in her mouth, enter. All of them stare at Tory in absolute shock. Both looks shock upon looking at Jenny.

"This is cold," River stated to Tory. "Even if this is you, this is cold."

"Or, 'Hello,' as people used to say," the Doctor greeted, looking at Jenny bewildered.

"Hey, Dad. Auntie," Jenny replied in tears as both Time Lords hugging her.

"Oh my goodness, you're alive!" Tory mumbled. "How?"

"Long story," Jenny simply said and releases the hug. "I'm so glad you're okay. Both of you."

"How can you be okay?" Amy pointed at Tory.

"Of course she's okay. I'm always okay, so my sister is okay, just like my daughter," the Doctor reasoned and hugs the ginger. "Which means I'm the king of okay. Oh, that's a rubbish title, forget that title," he let go of Amy. "Rory the Roman, that's a good title. Hello, Rory!" He hugs him before turning to River. "And Dr. River Song... Oh, you bad, bad girl, what trouble have you got for us this time?"

In rage, River slaps him.

"Whoa," Tory reacted. "I'm assuming that's for something neither of us haven't done?"

"Yes, it is," she replies, giving Tory a serious glare as well.

"Great! Looking forward to it!"

"I don't understand. How can you be here, Tory?" Rory asked, looking at Tory with confusion.

"We were invited. Date, map reference. Same as you lot, I assume, otherwise it's a hell of a coincidence," the Doctor shared.

"River, what's going on?" Amy frowns.

"Amy, ask them what age they are," River said instead.

"Bit personal, you know," Tory huffed.

"Tell her. Tell her what age you are."

"I'm 119. The Doctor's 909."

Amy narrows her eyes. "Yeah, but you said..."

"So where does that leave us?" River interjected. "Jim the Fish? Have we done Jim the Fish yet?"

"Who's Jim the Fish?" The Doctor asked.

"I don't understand," Amy admitted.

"Yeah, you do," Rory and Jenny said in unison.

"Well, we don't! Which is killing me since I'm a curious girl, you know. I mean, what are we all doing here, for instance?"

"We've been recruited," Jenny informed, trying to be casual and not revealing much, or even showing any emotion that might hinting of what she and other just saw before. "Something to do with space, 1969, and a man called Canton Everett Delaware III."

Tory frowns. "Recruited by who?"

"Someone who trusts you more than anybody else in the universe," River shared.

"And who's that?" The Doctor asked.

"Spoilers."

Tory smiles. "You do know that's just gonna make me more interest with this whole thing?"

River simply shrugged.

The Doctor's walking around the console, talking, while the others just stand around, not really paying attention. "1969, that's an easy one. Funny how some years are easy. Now, 1482, full of glitches," he gives a glance at Tory, who she responds with sticking out her tongue in such a childish way. "Now then, Canton Everett Delaware III, that was his name, yeah?"

Tory observes Amy leaves and goes to the area underneath the console.

"How many of those can there be? Well, three, I suppose," he continued as River follows Amy.

"Rory, Jenny, is everybody cross with us?" Tory frowns

"We'll find out," Jenny denoted as she and Rory leaves.

"They're keeping something," the Doctor told her, using Gallifreyan.

Tory rolls her eyes. "Well, duh. Even I can tell that."

"I don't like it. Especially the way they look at you. Like they know something about you."

"They're probably concern with me. Bound to happen with this incarnation of me. Who always bringing an actual sword and proposing crazy ideas. I mean, remember I almost caused a plane crash of an Aloha Airlines B737 on 1988 and nearly got us into so much trouble with the passengers?"

The Doctor grimances. "Yeah, that. But back to the point, I don't think it's simple as that. They purposely avoiding it."

"Like if they tell us, it will shatter the entire cosmos ot something?" Tory taps her foots.

"Exactly!"

"Which makes sense if they don't tell us about it. If whatever knowledge they had can create such a reaction like it, it's better for not to pry their secret. Foreknowledge can be dangerous, you know. Even if we know, will it make it better? What if the secret is so terrible for us? We can only make it worse."

The Doctor sighs, sticks his head down over the edge. "We're being extremely clever up here, and there's no-one to stand around, looking impressed. What's the point in having you all?" He complained before gets back up.

"Not really encouraging, brother dear," Tory remarked as they return back while the Doctor's checking the console.

"Time isn't a straight line, it's all bumpy-wumpy," the Doctor began. "There's loads of boring stuff, like Sundays and Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons. But now and then there are Saturdays, big temporal tipping points when anything's possible. The TARDIS can't resist them, she loves a party, so I give her 1969 and NASA, cos that's space in the '60s, and Canton Everett Delaware III, and this is where she's pointing."

He reveals the date on the scanner

"Washington DC, April 8th, 1969," Amy read. "So why haven't we landed?"

"Because that's not where we're going," the Doctor disagreed.

"Where are we going, then?" Jenny asked.

"Home! Well, you two are. Off you pop and make babies. Dr. Song, back to prison. Me and my sister are late for a biplane lesson in 1911, or it could be knitting. Knitting or biplanes, one or the other. And Jenny can come with us," he rambled before sits onto chair, rubbing his forehead. The others approach and he looks up, annoyed, while Tory leaning on the console. "What? A mysterious summons? You think we're just going to go? Who sent those messages? We know you know, we can see it in your faces. Don't play games with us. Don't ever, ever think you're capable of that."

"You're showing your arrogance, brother dear," Tory lightly scolded her. Clearly he's not gonna let this slide, especially when it might concerning her as well. Not like she's not worry. But she's just takes trying to figure this out without forcing them.

"You're going to have to trust us this time," River stated.

"I will," she agreed, looking at River. "But in order for that, can you tell us exactly why? Because as much as I want to trust you, I need conviction."

River simply stares, not answering. Tory can see she wants to tell her, but she can't.

"Why are you in prison?" The Doctor demanded as he stands up. "Who did you kill? Hmm? Now, I love a bad girl, me, but trust you? Seriously?"

"Trust me," Amy steps in.

"Okay," he responded, walks over to face Amy.

"You two have to do this, and you can't ask why."

"Are you being threatened? Is someone making you say that?"

"No."

"You're lying."

"I'm not lying."

"Conviction?" Tory asked.

Amy smiles fondly. "Fish fingers, custard, and cupcakes."

"Our life in your hands, Amelia Pond," he asserted.

"Thank you," River thanked her.

"So! Canton Everett Delaware III! Who's he?"

"Ex-FBI. Got kicked out," Tory informed.

"Why?" He frowns.

"Dunno. Don't ask me."

River read the information alongside them. "6 weeks after he left the Bureau, the President contacted him for a private meeting."

"Yeah, 1969. Who's President?"

"Richard Milhous Nixon," both Tory and Jenny replied in unison.

"Impressive!" Tory applauded Jenny, who smiles.

"Vietnam, Watergate," River continued. "There's some good stuff, too."

"Not enough," the Doctor remarked.

"Hippie!"

"Archaeologist."

"Okay, since we don't know what we're getting into, we're being discreet, putting the engines on silent," the Doctor said and flips a switch and walks away as a loud metallic screeching fills the room. River walks by, flips another switch and the screeching stops. He comes back. "Did you do something?"

"No, just... watching," River replied, which makes Tory smiles in amusement.

"Putting the outer shell on invisible. Haven't done this in a while, big drain on the power," he admitted and goes to another panel.

"You can turn the TARDIS invisible?" Rory asked.

With a grin, the Doctor switches on a lever and blinding spotlights switch on. This time, Tory leans over and pushes a lever. "Yeah right."

"Sister dear, did you touch something?"

"Why? I can't touch the console? Is that what you mean?"

"No, no. Not like that," he disagreed before bangs on the scanner. "Now, I can't check the scanner, it doesn't work when we're cloaked. Um, Just give us a mo," he and Tory run to the door but stops when others try to follow. "Whoa, who, whoa, whoa, you lot, wait a moment. We're in the middle of the most powerful city in the most powerful country on Earth. Let's take it slow."

They soon exit the box... only to find themselves in the Oval Office. They see Nixon and Canton are also inside, listening to the recorded phone call. Both not paying notice of the Time Lords' presence.

"Hello? Who is this? This is President Nixon. Who's calling? Is this... you again?" Nixon demanded.

"Mr. President?" A little girl replied.

"A child?" Canton pondered as the Time Lords step closer.

"This is the President, yes."

"I'm scared, Mr. President. I'm scared of the Space Man."

"A little girl?" Canton frowns.

"Boy," Nixon clarified.

"How can you be sure?"

"What space man? Where are you phoning from, where are you right now? Who are you?"

The Doctor takes a small notebook from his pocket and begins to write things down.

"Jefferson Adams Hamilton," the girl answered, making Tory confused.

"Jefferson, listen to me..."

The phone hangs up.

"Surely this is something the Bureau could handle, Sir?" Canton suggested.

"These calls happen wherever I am," Nixon stated. "How do I know the Bureau isn't involved? I can't trust anyone..."

Nixon turns around and sees them. Canton stands and turns as well. Tory waves her hand and smiles. "Hi!" She greeted. "Sorry to barge in." She nudges her brother so he realizes they already caught. "Don't be alarm, okay?" She added.

The Doctor, who finally notices, starts to back away with her. "Oh, look, Historian, this is the Oval Office. We were looking for the," he accidentally knocks a lamp and quickly takes it, "Oblong Room," he finished as Nixon presses a calling button.

"We'll be going now, sorry!" Tory quickly apologized as they turn back in hurry and accidentally bump into the invisible TARDIS.

The Doctor gets back up, rubbing his face. "Don't worry. Always does that when it's cloaked," he said before Canton tackles him, knocking him to the floor. "No, stop that!"

"Oi!" Tory yelled, ready to save the Doctor using her powers when Nixon also grabs her wrist from behind, causing her to yelps. "Ow ow ow ow ow!"

The Secret Service agents enter. "Lock down, lock down!" An agent called.

"Hey, it hurts!" The Time Lady protested as two agents put her on the floor, just like the Doctor.

"Stop that! Argh!" The Doctor hissed. "Oh! River, have you got my scanner working yet?!"

"You're not really hate him, River, we all know that!" Tory responded, knowing what River just replied before.

"Get the President out of here!" Canton ordered. "Sir, you have to go with them now!"

"River, make her blue again!" The Doctor insisted.

As TARDIS becomes visible, Canton and the others who are holding the Time Lords release them and stare at the TARDIS.

"What the hell is that?" Nixon whispered.

"Pretty cool, right?" Tory suggested, standing beside the Doctor who sits on the president's chair and putting up his feet on the desk.

"Mr. President!" The Doctor called and all agents point their guns at them. Tory takes her sword, glaring them. "That child just told you everything you need to know, but you weren't listening. Never mind, the answer's yes. I'll take the case!" He looks around. "Fellas, the guns, really? I just walked into the highest security office in the United States, parked a big blue box on the rug. You think you can just shoot me?"

River exits the box. "They're Americans!" She reminded him, which apparently works, as he stands up, holding his hands up.

"Don't shoot, definitely no shooting!"

Amy, Rory, and Jenny step out of the TARDIS. "Don't shoot us either. Very much not in need of getting shot. Look, we've got our hands up," Rory pleaded.

"Who the hell are you?" Nixon asked

"Sir... you need to stay back," Canton warned.

"But who... but who are they? What is that box?"

"It's a Police Box, duh," Tory huffed. "We're your new undercover agent, on loan from Scotland Yard. Code name, the Historian. Beside me are my partner, the Doctor. These are my others partners, the Legs, the Nose, the Niece, and Mrs. Robinson."

"I hate you," River grumbled.

"No, you don't!"

"Who are you?" Nixon demanded.

"Boring question," the Doctor noted. "Who's phoning you? That's interesting. 'Cause Canton III right, that was definitely a girl's voice, which means there's only one place in America she can be phoning from."

"Where?" Canton wondered.

"Do not engage with the intruder, Mr. Delaware," an agent insisted.

"You heard everything we heard, it's simple enough. Give us 5 minutes, we'll explain. On the other hand," the Doctor sits back down at the desk, "lay a finger on me, my sister, my daughter, or my friends, and you'll never, ever know."

"How'd you get it in here?" Canton pondered. "I mean, you didn't carry it."

"Certainly not," Tory smiles. "Basic disguise. Genius, right?"

"Love it."

"Do not compliment the intruder," the agent kept saying.

Tory rolls her eyes and proceed to snaps her finger, smiling when all guns suddenly floating around. "If you keep saying that annoying words again, I'll make sure you won't get your gun. Understand?"

All agents stunned, including Nixon, unable to say anything. But Canton finds these as amusing. "5 minutes?"

"5," the Doctor nods.

"Mr. President, that man and girl are a clear and present danger..."

"Mr. President, that man and girl walked in here with a big blue box and four of their friends... and that's the man he walked past," Canton interjected. "One of them is worth listening to. What say we give them 5 minutes, see if they deliver."

"Thanks, Canton!" The Doctor glad.

"If they don't, I'll shoot them myself."

"Not so thanks."

"Sir, I cannot recommend..."

"Shut up, Peterson," Nixon sighs. "All right."

"5 minutes," Canton stated, narrows his eyes on Tory, which Tory understands what he implies as she lowers down all guns back to normal.

"We're going to need a SWAT team ready to mobilize, street level maps covering all of Florida, a pot of coffee, 12 jammy dodgers and a fez," the Doctor proposed.

"Get them their maps."

Later, the Oval Office is strewn with large street maps and everyone is looking at one.

"Why Florida?" Canton wondered.

"That's where NASA is," Tory replied, looking at the maps with the Doctor.

"She said about space man, which might connected to NASA," Jenny shared.

The Doctor nods. "Also... there's another lead I'm following."

"Amy? What do you remember?" Rory asked Amy, getting Tory's attention.

"I don't know, I just," she holds a hand to her stomach.

"Amy, what's wrong?"

"Amy?" River and Jenny asked, worry.

"You all right?" The Doctor inquired.

"Something's wrong?" Tory wondered.

"Yeah, no, I'm fine, I'm just... feeling a little sick," she assured them and heads for the door. "Excuse me, is there a toilet, or something?"

"Sorry, Ma'am, during this procedure, you must remain within the Oval Office," Peterson ordered.

"Shut up and take her to the rest room," Canton huffed.

Peterson nods to the other agent. "This way, Ma'am," he gestures.

"Thanks," Amy said.

"Your 5 minutes are up," Canton reminded them.

"Yeah, and where's my fez?" The Doctor demanded.

"And jammy dodgers?" Tory added. "I'm hungry. I want jammy dodgers, or anything actually, because I'm seriously hungry."

"You just eat 5 beacons back at diner."

"That was hours ago. My stomach needs food."

Jenny laughs. "I don't know you're quick to get hungry, Auntie."

"You have no idea," Tory smiles, recalling how often she can get hungry and needs more food. But more than that, she's happy that Jenny comes back, safe and sound, without any harm. She was devastated when Jenny died, so to see her alive and well just makes it better. And she's sure the Doctor also feels like that, probably even more since Jenny is his daughter.

The phone on Nixon's desk suddenly rings.

"The kid?" Canton guessed.

"Should I answer it?" Nixon asked.

"Just wait," Jenny addressed.

"Here!" The Doctor points to the map. "The only place in the United States that call could be coming from. See? Obvious when you think about it."

Amy and the Agent before return.

Canton peers at the map. "You, Sir, are a genius."

"It's a hobby."

"Mr. President, you can answer the phone," Tory proposed.

Nixon nods. "Hello. This is President Nixon."

"It's here! The Space Man's here. It's gonna get me. It's gonna eat me!" She screamed.

The Doctor grabs his jacket as he and Tory backs towards the TARDIS. Jenny, Amy, Rory, and River enter first. "There's no time for a SWAT team, let's go!" The Doctor said.

"Mr. President, tell her help's on the way," Jenny suggested.

"Canton, get into this box and close the door behind you," Tory stated before enters the TARDIS.

"What the hell are you doing?" Canton demanded, follows her into the TARDIS as it dematerializes. As it happen, Canton stays by the door looking around in stunned amazement.

"Jefferson isn't a girl's name, or her name either," the Doctor began.

"Jefferson Adams Hamilton," Tory muttered. "Three surnames of three of America's founding fathers."

"Lovely fellas, two of them fancied me."

"And Hamilton gave me approval for attending all of his musical plays without ticket after finding out that he'll get many musical plays."

"Are you OK?" Rory asked Canton. "Coping?"

"The President asked the child two questions," the Doctor continued. "Where and who are you? She was answering where."

"It's bigger on the inside," Canton whispered.

"Impressive, right?" Jenny asked, knowing that reaction after entering the TARDIS for the first time. "You'll get used to it."

"Now where would you find three big historical names in a row like that?" Tory inquired.

Amy frowns. "Where?"

"Here! Come on!" The Doctor insisted, runs for the door with Amy, Tory, and River following.

Canton stops him. "It's er..."

"Are you two taking care of this?" He stares at Rory and Jenny before continue out the door with the rest.

"Why's it always my turn?" Rory complained.

"Well, at least you're not alone," Jenny offered.

After get out, the Time Lords sit at a desk, the Doctor waving around a small American flag while Tory looking around

"Where are we?" Amy asked.

"About 5 miles from Cape Kennedy Space Centre. It's 1969, the year when Humans first time went into Moon."

Amy turns on her flashlight and River uses her hand-held device to scan the area. "Why would a girl be here?"

"I don't know. Lost, maybe," the Doctor shrugged as River picks up the phone. "The President asked where she was and she did what any lost little girl would do." He stands. "She looked out the window," he said peers through the blinds.

"Streets. Of course, street names!"

Tory nods. "The only place in Florida, probably all of America, with those three street names on the same junction. And River, you're just blushing."

"No, I'm not."

"Yes, you are. Especially with that face," the Doctor agreed.

"What face?"

"The 'he's hot when he's clever' face."

"This is my normal face," River stated.

"It is."

"Oh, shut up."

"Not a chance," he replied, checks the phone receiver just as Canton, Jenny, and Rory exit the TARDIS.

"We've moved. How... how can... we have moved?" Canton wondered.

"And now you know how we can entered the Oval Office," Jenny shared as Rory shuts the TARDIS' door. "The TARDIS can move not just into different place, but also different time as well."

"Come on, everyone!" Tory urged others to explore.

"So we're in a box, that's bigger on the inside and it travels through time and space?" Canton concluded.

"Basically," Rory shrugged.

"How long have Scotland Yard had this?"

"Secrets," Jenny replied with a wink as they follow after the others.

"It's a warehouse of some kind. Disused," River concluded.

"You realize this is almost certainly a trap, of course," Tory mentioned.

"I noticed the phone, yes."

"What about it?" Amy asked.

"It was cut off. So how did the child phone from here?" River pondered.

"Okay. But why would anyone want to trap us?"

"Oh, many things, Amy," Tory speaked mysteriously.

"Now why would a little girl be here?" River asked.

"I don't know, let's find her and ask her," the Doctor said as they find a tilted operating table that seems to have organic components attached.

"It's non-terrestrial," Jenny guessed as she follows them with Canton and Rory behind. "Definitely alien."

"Which is odd, because... look at this!" The Doctor gestures at many boxes.

"It's Earth tech, contemporary," River informed.

"Very contemporary. Cutting edge. This is from the space program!"

"Stolen? What, by aliens?" Amy guessed.

"Seems so," Tory admitted as the Doctor puts an old helmet on his head.

"Why? If you can make it to Earth, why steal technology that can barely make it to the moon?"

"Maybe cos it's cooler," the Doctor remarked and lifts the visor. "Look how cool this stuff is!"

"More like a junk," Tory pointed out.

"Oi!"

"I, er, I think he's okay now," Rory informed the Doctor regarding Canton.

"Ah, back with us, Canton?" The Doctor asked.

"Like your wheels," Canton commented.

"That's my boy! So come on! Little girl, let's find her."

Tory observes Amy and River quietly talking, but she simply ignores their conversation. Whatever they're talking about, she can wait.

"Doctor! Tory! Look at this," River called, opening an manhole.

Jenny kneels down as the Doctor and Tory arrive. "Where does that go?"

"There's a network of tunnels running under here."

"Any life signs?"

"No, nothing that's showing up."

"Those are the worst kind. Be careful," the Doctor warned as River enters it.

"Careful? Tried that once, ever so dull," River commented.

"If something's wrong, just shout, okay?" Tory suggested.

"Don't worry, I'm quite the screamer," River said before adding. "Now there's a spoiler for you!"

"Oh, ew, River!" Tory yelped.

Jenny just shook her head as she also climbs down. She knows that River is notoriously flirty, but she really don't expect her to be that flirty, especially with her dad.

"So what's going on here?" Canton asked.

"That's what we're going to find out," Tory told him.

Canton and Amy are examining some of the equipment. "So... I was in a bar having a drink," Canton began. "Tell me honestly, am I still there?"

"Afraid not," Amy responded.

"All clear!" Jenny informed. "Just tunnels, nothing down there we can see. I'll ask River about it."

"Be careful!" Tory said as Jenny enters again.

"Rory, would you mind going with her?" The Doctor asked, worry with her daughter safety. He knows she can take care of herself, but he needs someone else to keep her safe. And River isn't the person he trust right now.

"Yeah, of course," Rory understood, knowing his concern regarding his daughter's safety.

"So, you were kicked out of the FBI because you had attitude problems," Amy mentioned as Rory climbs down.

"No. I just wanted to get married."

"Is that a crime?"

"Yes," he replied, points in the Time Lords' direction. "Doctor who, exactly? And which Historian?"

"It's a secret, Canton," Tory replied before rolls her eyes when her brother sticks his head into a large crate.

"Help me!" A girl shouted.

All three are immediately alert. Canton pulls out his gun and Tory pulls out her sword.

"Help! Help me!"

"It's her!" Canton realized and run.

Amy's about to run but suddenly gasping in pain. The Time Lords go to her.

"Amy? What's wrong?" The Doctor questioned.

"I need to tell you something!" Amy confessed.

"Doctor! Tory!" Canton yelled.

"It's important. It's really, really important."

"Doctor! Tory! Quickly!"

"Right now?" Tory frowns before the Doctor pulls Amy and her along to another section of the warehouse. He makes a gesture to be quiet before continue, only to find Canton unconscious on the floor. They run over to him.

"Canton! Canton, are you okay?" He asked, kneels to check him.

"Is he all right?" Amy asked.

"Just unconscious. Got a proper whack though."

"Doctor, Tory, I need to tell you something. I have to tell you it now!" Amy insisted.

"Must we know?" Tory asked back.

"It's important, it has to be now!" The ginger claimed.

"Help! Help me! Help me!"

As the Time Lords look around, wondering where the little girl's voice come from, Amy kneels down, and saying, "Doctor, Tory... I'm pregnant."

They hear thudding footsteps and the Time Lords stand. Coming towards them is the astronaut.

"That's it. The astronaut!" Amy mumbled.

The astronaut raises its hand, raises its visor to reveal a young girl who looks so scared. "Help me!"

"Get down!" Amy warned as she stands.

"What are you doing?!" The Doctor demanded.

"Saving your sister's life!"

Tory didn't think twice regarding her action. But maybe she should. She should think twice. She can uses her power to stop Amy, or even using her sword. Regardless, she can't think any of that, only focus with Amy has a gun, aiming for an innocent girl inside a spacesuit, and how she must stop Amy from harming her.

"STOP!" She unknowingly shouted, standing in front of Amy.

"NO!" The Doctor screamed as Amy fires the gun immediately without second glance, screams as she's already pulls the trigger, releasing the bullet... that's aiming right at Tory.

The Time Lady gasped, realizing a bullet just enters inside her.

Note: I've been waiting so long to write this chapter (and next one). This is definitely something drastic, because Tory's the one who died in Lake Silencio, not the Doctor! If that's the case, why Eleven and River refers the person who River killed as 'he', not 'she'? What happen to Eleven and where is he? And why it's Tory who died instead? Why the Silence and Kovarian targeted her instead the Doctor?

So many questions that slowly reveals in this story.

For longest time, I always wonder, 'what if someone seriously get hurt when Amy shot that gun?' Because I cannot help myself to bring that consequence of Amy's action. She kept insisting on saving the Doctor over and over, despite River warned her not to, in canon episode. Clearly, her last effort on saving the Doctor from (she assumed) the same astronaut who killed the Doctor, backfired and Amy almost killed young River. Not to mention, Amy used a gun again later in Mercy. Here, I want Amy realized what her effort is useless and her immediate action can cause someone to hurt or died in the most horrible way, by making the person she saw died before got hurt instead.

Other than that, I'm also hope everyone suprise with Jenny appears. I've been wondering when will Jenny comes back in my story, and I was thought about this two part mught be perfect for her to come back (and just to get that shocking reaction of knowing Tory has a niece from Amy & Rory lol). Although part of me felt guilty for making Jenny witnessed Tory died in front of her. That's gonna be something Jenny will never forget.
