Hello again everyone! Here's another Clint x Bruce one shot! I hope that you like it!
Clint slowly opened his eyes and saw Bruce sleeping next to him, and he gently shook his shoulder
"Mmmm." Bruce said as he rolled over towards Clint
"Bruce." Clint said quietly, shaking Bruce's shoulder
"Mmm..." Bruce said again as he opened his eyes a little "Clint..."
"Yeah." Clint replied, and he leaned forward and pressed his lips onto his
"Mmmm." Bruce groaned as they kissed, and then after a few moments Clint pulled away
"Come on." Clint said "Let's go down for breakfast."
"Okay..." Bruce replied tiredly, and then they both got up
"Here." Clint said, handing Bruce a shirt and one of his jackets
"Thanks." Bruce said, and then he started to put on the shirt, and then the jacket
"Come on." Clint said after a minute when they were dressed "Let's go."
"Okay." Bruce replied, and Clint pecked him on the lips and grabbed his hand and then they left the room to the elevator
Time switch to when they're down at the kitchen
"Morning." Tony said as Clint and Bruce walked out of the elevator into the kitchen
"Morning." Clint replied, and then him and Bruce sat down
"Want some eggs?" Steve asked, turning to them from the stove
"Sure." Clint said
"Bruce?" Steve said
"Uh...No. I'm not hungry." Bruce replied
"Bruce." Clint said
"... I'll eat later. I promise." Bruce said
"Okay." Clint replied, and a few moments later a plate with eggs was put in front of him "Thanks."
"You're welcome." Steve replied
"So where's Natasha?" Clint asked after a few moments as he took a bite of eggs
"She went down to train. She told us to tell you that she wants you to join her when you're done." Steve exclaimed
"Okay." Clint replied, and then took a drink of orange juice
"Hey Bruce. Do you want to work in the lab with me later?" Tony asked after a few moments
"...Sure..." Bruce replied
"Okay." Tony said as he got up with his coffee "I'll be down there when you're ready."
"Okay." Bruce replied, as Tony walked to the elevator
"Okay." Tony said as he got in "Bye."
"Bye." Bruce replied, and then the elevator shut and Tony went down to the lab
"You sure you don't want any eggs Bruce?" Steve asked after a minute
"No. I'm fine." Bruce replied
"Do you want to drink your orange juice?" Steve asked, and Bruce looked at the orange juice infront of him
"Bruce. You have to have something." Clint said
"...Can I have water." Bruce asked after a moment
"Yeah." Steve replied, and he took the orange juice from him and then got him a bottle of water "Here."
"Thanks." Bruce said as he took the water from Steve
"Do you want to come down to the training room with me?" Clint asked after a couple minutes as he took the last bite of his eggs
"Okay." Bruce replied as he finished his water and closed the cap
"Okay." Clint said as he got up and then put his plate and cup into the sink
"Come on." Clint said, grabbing Bruce's hand, and Bruce stood up and followed Clint to the elevator
"I'll come down in a few minutes." Steve said as they got into the elevator
"Okay." Clint replied "Bye."
"Bye." Steve replied, and then the elevator doors closed and Clint and Bruce headed down to the training room
Time switch to when Clint and Bruce are at the training room
"Hey." Natasha said as Clint walked out of the elevator with Bruce
"Hey." Clint replied
"Do you want to train?" Natasha asked
"Yeah." Clint said, and he walked over to his weapons, still holding Bruce's hand
"I'm going to go train with Natasha. You can stay right here and watch. Okay?" Clint said as he looked at Bruce
"Okay..." Bruce replied quietly
"Okay." Clint said, and then he let go of Bruce's hand and grabbed a sparring stick and went over to train with Natasha
They sparred for about half an hour until they took a break, and Clint walked back over to Bruce
"Hey." Clint said as he walked back over to Bruce, and then he pulled him into a hug and pressed his lips onto his
"Mmm." Bruce said as they kissed and Clint's hand ran through his hair
After a few moments Clint broke the kiss and they both opened thier eyes "I love you." Clint said and Bruce smiled
"I love you too." Bruce said and they leaned forward again to kiss but then Natasha interrupted them
"Hey Clint." Natasha said as she typed on her phone and walked towards them
"Yeah." Clint replied, turning to her
"Fury wants us for a mission but it's going to be risky." Natasha stated, looking up at him
"Is it like a few hours." Clint asked
"No. It's going to take till tomorrow if we get everything right." Natasha stated
"Oh..." Clint said and looked to Bruce who was looking down
"He's picking us up on the roof in ten minutes." Natasha stated
"Okay." Clint said "I'll get my stuff and meet you there."
"Okay." Natasha said, and then she turned and walked away to the elevator "Bye."
"Bye." Clint replied, and then Natasha left
Clint turned to Bruce and took his hands in his and then Bruce looked up at him with teary eyes "Please don't leave me..." Bruce said
"I'm not leaving you. I promise." Clint stated
"But the last time you went I almost lost you..and that wasn't even supposed to be a hard mission..." Bruce stated as a tear fell down his cheek
"I promise I won't leave you Bruce. I promise." Clint stated and Bruce looked away "I love you."
"How could you love someone like me..." Bruce said quietly, still looking away
"Bruce. You are my everything. I love you. I don't care that you're the Hulk. I don't care that you've made mistakes in your life. Who hasn't." Clint exclaimed "I will never leave you again. And I'll be back tomorrow. Okay. I promise."
"You promise." Bruce said, looking up at Clint
"I promise." Clint replied
"Okay." Bruce said, looking away again
"Okay." Clint said as he grabbed his bow and arrows "I'll promise I'll be back tomorrow."
"Okay." Bruce said as Clint walked back over to him
"I love you." Clint said, and then kissed Bruce on the cheek and started walking to the elevator
"Bye." Clint said after a few moments as he got into the elevator
"...Bye..." Bruce replied as the elevator doors shut and Clint left
After Clint left Bruce slid down the wall onto the floor and started crying, and after a couple minutes the elevator opened and Steve walked out and then saw Bruce and quickly went over to him
"Hey. Are you okay." Steve asked as he knelt down next to Bruce who was curled up, and Bruce slowly looked up at him with teary eyes
"C-Clint left again." Bruce stated and Steve pulled him into a hug, knowing how sensitive Bruce was and how depressed he could get when Clint leaves him for dangerous missions
"It's okay." Steve said after a few moments "...Do you want to go down to the lab with Tony?"
"O-okay." Bruce replied quietly after a moment, still shaking
"Okay. Come on." Steve said and he slowly helped Bruce up, and then slowly helped him to the elevator
"Hey." Steve said to Bruce and Bruce looked up at him "He'll be okay."
Bruce didn't reply and looked back down, and then the elevator doors closed and they headed down to the lab
Scene switch to when they're at the lab
"Hey! Oh..." Tony said as he turned to them and then saw Bruce who was still shaking and crying a little "...Are you okay."
"Yeah..He's fine..Clint left for another mission." Steve stated
"Oh..." Tony said
"Yeah..." Steve said
"...Do you want to just stay and help me in the lab the next couple days until Clint gets back. Just to keep your mind off things.." Tony asked Bruce
"...Okay." Bruce said
"Okay." Tony said "Come on."
"Thanks Tony." Steve said quietly as Tony started to take Bruce over to the table he was working at
"Yeah." Tony replied, and then he turned back to Bruce and helped him over to the table as Steve turned and went back to the elevator and left
"Do you want to start working on my new suit?" Tony asked
"...Okay..." Bruce said quietly
"Okay." Tony replied, and then he pulled up a hologram of his suit and they started working
Over the few days Bruce and Tony stayed up all day and night working on Tony's suit. Tony tried to get Bruce to go to bed but he wouldn't so they just worked on his suit until Tony and Bruce started to get tired
"Bruce. It's been almost four days. You need to sleep." Tony said as he rubbed his eye
"I...I can't...Not with Clint gone..." Bruce said
"Bruce..." Tony said
"You can go to bed Tony... I'll be fine." Bruce said, as he looked down
"No. Bruce-" Tony started
"I said I'll be fine Tony." Bruce shouted, as tears started to gather in his eyes
"Bruce..." Tony said as tears started to fall down Bruce's face
"Come here." Tony said as he pulled Bruce into a hug as he started to shake
"Wh-what if he n-never c-comes back." Bruce stuttered after a few moments as he sobbed and tears poured down his face
"He will...I promise." Tony said as he rubbed Bruce's back "He will."
"B-but wh-what if he d-doesn't." Bruce said
"He will Bruce. He will." Tony said
"B-but it's been a-almost f-four days." Bruce stated "H-he was s-supposed t-to come back th-three d-days ago."
"Bruce-" Tony started
"W-what if he doesn't w-want to c-come back. W-what if he h-hates me." Bruce stuttered as more tears fell down his cheeks
"Bruce. He doesn't hate you. He would never hate you. He loves you. And he's going to come back. I promise." Tony said as he squeezed Bruce tighter "I promise."
For the next five minutes or so Bruce cried into Tony's shirt, and Tony rubbed his back in comfort, until he eventually calmed down and stopped crying
"Are you okay now?" Tony asked after a few moments and Bruce nodded "Okay."
"Sir." Jarvis said after a few moments
"Yeah Jarvis." Tony said
"Miss Romanoff has returned with Master Barton." Jarvis stated and Bruce's eyes widened
"W-where..." Bruce said quietly to Tony
"Where are they Jarvis?" Tony asked
"They are currently heading down to the floor with your bedrooms. Master Barton has just been patched up from getting stabbed multiple times in the stomach. That is why they took longer to get here then expected." Jarvis stated and Bruce's eyes widened more
"Hey. It's okay. Do you want to go see him?" Tony asked Bruce, and Bruce quickly nodded
"Okay. Let's go." Tony said, and then Bruce quickly stood up and they went to the elevator and headed up to the floor with their rooms on it
Time switch to when they're at their floor
The elevator doors opened and Tony got out, and then Bruce got out nervously behind him
"Hey. It'll be fine." Tony assured Bruce "Come on."
"Hey Jarvis where's Clint now?" Tony asked as they slowly walked down the hallway
"He is currently in his and Doctor Banners bedroom." Jarvis stated
"Okay. Thanks Jarvis." Tony said "...Hey Jarvis."
"Yes Sir." Jarvis said
"Where are the others." Tony asked
"They are all currently talking in the kitchen." Jarvis stated
"Okay. Thanks Jarvis." Tony said, and then they stopped a few feet away from Bruce and Clint's bedroom
"You go talk to Clint. I'm going to go down to the kitchen." Tony stated "Okay?"
Bruce nervously fidgeted with his hands and looked down
"Hey." Tony said, and Bruce looked up at him "It'll be fine. He loves you."
Bruce looked down and then back up and then he nodded
"Okay." Tony said "You can come down when your done or you can go to sleep because you need rest. Okay."
Bruce nodded
"Okay." Tony said, and then he slowly turned and started walking back to the elevator, but he stopped when he reached the corner, and then he turned back to Bruce "It'll be okay...Promise..."
Then Tony slowly turned the corner and left, and after a moment Bruce turned and then he slowly started to walk to his room
Bruce stopped infront of the door and closed his eyes, then after a couple moments he opened them and slowly opened the door
"...Clint..." Bruce said quietly as he slowly pushed the door and looked at Clint who had his back turned
Clint turned around and then he saw Bruce "Bruce." Clint said as he took a couple steps towards him "...Bruce I'm so s-"
"C-Clint." Bruce stuttered as he grabbed onto Clint and pulled him into a tight hug as he shut his eyes and started to cry
"I'm sorry Bruce." Clint said as he hugged Bruce back "I'm sorry for leaving. I never should have accepted the mission. I'm so sorry."
"Just don't leave me again." Bruce said as he hugged Clint tighter "Please."
"I won't." Clint said as he pulled Bruce closer to him and hugged him tighter "I promise."
They stayed like that for a minute until Clint jumped in pain "Ow..." Clint said as he slowly pulled away from Bruce
"Are...are you okay?" Bruce asked worriedly
"Yeah I...I'm fine."" Clint replied as he held his stomach in pain
"...Can I see?" Bruce asked
"...Yeah..." Clint said after a moment as he lifted his shirt to show bloodied bandages wrapping up his stomach
"Did they even stitch that?" Bruce asked as he looked at Clint's stomach with worry
"Yeah. I think so. I don't really know." Clint said in reply
"Okay...Can I look at them to be sure?" Bruce asked
"Yeah." Clint said
"Okay." Bruce said
"Okay. Come on. There's a first aid kit in the bathroom." Clint said, and Bruce followed him to the bathroom, staying close by him, and then they got the first aid kit out and sat down
"Okay." Bruce said after a few moments as he unwrapped the gauze on Clint's stomach
"It looks like the stitches are just a little loose." Bruce stated as he looked at Clint stitches "Normally you should replace them but since we don't have any more stitches to replace them I'm just going to tighten them. Okay."
"Okay." Clint said
"Okay. This might hurt a little." Bruce said as he took the tweezers,and then Clint closed his eyes and bit his lip as Bruce started pulling at the stitches carefully, tightening them
"Okay." Bruce said after a couple minutes as he put the tweezers back in the first aid kit "Done."
"Thank you." Clint said
"You're welcome." Bruce replied as he looked at Clint, and then hr rubbed his eye and got out the gauze to wrap Clint's stomach back up
"Are you okay?" Clint asked "You look tired."
"I just haven't slept." Bruce stated as he wrapped Clint's stomach up with the gauze "I'm fine."
"Bruce. It's been four days." Clint said
"I'm fine." Bruce replied as he finished wrapping Clint's stomach "I promise."
"Bruce. Let's get you to bed." Clint said as Bruce put the first aid kit back under the sink
"Okay." Bruce said as Clint helped him up, and then after a moment Bruce latched into Clint and shut his eyes, putting his face into Clint's chest
"Bruce." Clint said
"S-sorry." Bruce said as he quickly pulled away and looked down
"Hey. It's okay." Clint said as he grabbed Bruce's hands and Bruce looked up at him "And don't worry. I'll never leave you again. I promise."
"You promise." Bruce said
"I promise. Now come on." Clint said, and then he led Bruce out of the bathroom and shut the door, and then he turned the light off and led Bruce to thier bed
Clint saw how tense Bruce was so he slowly pressed his lips onto his, making him relax
"I love you." Clint said as they broke apart
"I love you too." Bruce said
"Come on." Clint said, and they got into bed and laid down and covered themselves up
Clint pressed his lips onto Bruce's again softly and then broke away a few seconds letter "Let's get to sleep now." Clint said
"Okay." Bruce replied
"Okay." Clint said, and then he closed his eyes and Bruce smiled, and then he closed his eyes and moved closer to Clint, and they both fell asleep
Time switch to a few hours later
Clint opened his eyes and woke up to see Bruce shaking with tears falling down his face
"Bruce." Clint said softly as he shook him "Bruce wake up. Bruce."
Bruce's eyes snapped open as he shot up and looked around frantically
"Hey. Bruce it's okay. It's okay. Look at me. Look at me. I'm right here. It's okay." Clint said as he grabbed Bruce to calm him down, and Bruce looked at him, still shaking with tears falling down his cheeks
"What happened. Are you okay." Clint asked after a moment as he wiped a tear off of Bruce's face
"C-Clint." Bruce stuttered
"Yeah." Clint replied, and then Bruce wrapped his arms around Clint as he put his face in his chest
"C-Clint." Bruce stuttered again, his eyes closed as he cried into Clint's chest
"Hey. It's okay. It's okay." Clint said as he hugged Bruce and rubbed his back
"Bad dream?" Clint asked Bruce after a few moments and Bruce nodded
"It's okay." Clint said as he rubbed Bruce's back in comfort
"What was it about?" Clint asked after a minute
"Please don't leave me again." Bruce said, hugging Clint tighter to him "Please don't leave me."
"I won't." Clint replied, hugging Bruce back "I promise."
"You promise." Bruce said
"I promise." Clint replied
"...I love you Clint." Bruce said after a moment
"I love you too Bruce." Clint replied, and then he slowly leaned into him and pulled him into a kiss
After a minute they broke apart "I love you." Clint said again
"I love you too." Bruce replied
"Now let's get back to sleep okay." Clint said as he pulled Bruce closer to him
"Okay." Bruce replied as he moved closer into Clint, and then they shut thier eyes and after a minute they fell asleep together in eachother arms
