'Something's wrong'

Was the first thing Suga thought when stepping into the club room.

The first years were quiet. Too quiet. Kageyama and Hinata weren't fighting. Tsukishima wasn't mocking the "king".

Tanaka was calmly changing, and Nishinoya was fidgety.

Tanaka wasn't throwing his shirt around, Noya wasn't jumping on Asahi's shoulders and the first years were quiet. Something was clearly wrong.

Exchanging a distressed look with Daichi, Suga noticed that the captain didn't know what was going on either.

The two boys stepped to their lockers, glancing warily at the volleyball players around them.

As Daichi and Suga opened their lockers, they could feel the whole team's stare on their backs.

Confused, they stared at the contents of their lockers, seeing dozen of wrapped up presents.

"Guys, what's this?" Asked Suga, turning around with a small gift in his hands.

The other teens looked around, all debating who should answer.

Tanaka coughed awkwardly, and stuttered "Well… Ya see- It's… it's Father's Day today, and since you're both kinda the father figures of the team, we figured we should um…. thank you for it. You know… Thank you for putting up with us?"

A long silence followed, Daichi and Suga staring at all the neatly wrapped up gifts. Suddenly, Suga turned around and mumbled "It's Father's Day today? I forgot to give something to my dad…"

Daichi stayed silent, his eyes glancing between his and Suga's lockers. Then, "Hey! Why does he have more gifts than me?!" He said in a jealous voice.

"Well it's also Suga's birthday today so the team pitched in to get him a few more gifts" explained Ennoshita.

Daichi made a hum of agreement, picking each present and counting them.

The captain and the vice captain both thanked the whole team.

Suga's heart fluttered when he opened the gift, each one of them unique, and it was relatively easy to guess who had given what.

Daichi smiled as he opened yet another gift, this one from Asahi and Nishinoya. His eyes widened as he saw a black and orange shirt with a big volleyball on the back. Asahi explained that he had sewn the t-shirt, Noya helping with the design and the fabric.

Suga's eyes filled with tears, seeing all the presents spread on the ground around the two teens, and Daichi kissed his tears away.

They all changed and headed to practice, Suga and Daichi carefully putting the gifts in their lockers to pick them up after practice.

About thirty minutes into practice, Suga went to drink and saw Tsukishima shuffling awkwardly out of the corner of his eye.

Raising an eyebrow at the boy, Suga smiled when he saw Tsukishima looking away.

After a few minutes, Tsukki stepped closer to Koushi and gave him a small present. Sugawara questioned him silently, to which Kei answered with "the others didn't tell me what they were doing until this morning, and since I didn't want to bother Ennoshita by asking for the keys, I thought I'd give it to you later. Sorry it's not much, and Daichi got the same gift."

Suga smiled at Tsukki's shyness, and he slowly opened the box he got. A gasp left his lips as he picked up the beautiful volleyball keychain.

He immediately thanked Tsukishima for the gift, slipping it into his pocket.

As he walked back on the court, he couldn't help but feel lucky for getting such amazing friends. They really felt like family, and he couldn't be happier.

I do not own Haikyuu!! Or it's characters.

I do not own the cover of the story. If you are the original artist and you don't want me to use it, write a comment, and I will take it off.

Pretty short, pretty fluffy, I wrote this in a day. I just felt like Suga deserved a second fanfic since he's my highest kin and my comfort character. Plus since today is Father's Day, I thought why not?

(I have no idea if they celebrate Father's Day in Japan but for the sake of my fanfic let's say they do)

Till next time!
