RWBY Snyder AU

A dark mass of Grimm roots spread from the tower at the centre of a town in ruin. In that tower, high above the ground was a bridge connected to the door and the concrete platform hanging by chains and supported by beams of steel.

There, stood a hulking creature of darkness with large horns of bone bulging from a bovine skull with red markings and two yellow eyes with dark red sclerae.
The Minotaur gazed at four gold objects with blue glow being pulled together by black webbing shooting from the dark palms of its calcium claws. One was a crown; another was a spear. The third was a lamp and the last was a sword.

As the dark goop spread across the surface, the blue glow flickered between its original colour and red.

Suddenly, the door behind him blew open and two young women walked through. One was a red head wielding a collapsible sledgehammer in hand. She had a sky-blue steel breastplate with pink detailing. Along with it were silver scale mail sleeves, white legging and brown leather highish heel boots. Nearly unnoticeable, her skin had Lichtenberg scars under that armour.
The other was a silver eyed warrior with short dark hair and red tips, with a dark crimson cloak. She wore fingerless gloves. Under the hood, there was a black one-piece combat suit with red accents and red sole black boots. Along with ammo cartridges on her hips, she held a red rifle.

Nora: HEY, UGLY!
She slammed the end her staff down, making a metallic clang, getting the beast's attention. It let the webs detach from its claws as it turned.
Nora: REMEMBER US?!

Steam could be seen fuming out its nostrils as it dislodges a Grimm battle axe from the ground.
She turned to her companion,
Nora: Round 2?

Ruby turns her gun into her scythe and smiles.
Ruby: Oh yeah.

The monster charged. Nora aimed Magnhild at the Grimm. The mallet barrel flipped up and electricity sprung out as Ruby loaded a black Dust clip and fired into the chest.

It flung back, hook its blade onto the bridge and snarled. Then, two young men landed in front of the girls. One was a blonde in full white armour with gold bronze accents, holding his sword and shield, which had the same colour. The one thing that look out of place was a bronze spartan helmet with red accents. The other had long black hair with a pink streak, all in a single braid. He was in a forest green and black ninja gi with holsters and carried two bladed pistols in hand. His arm and leg guards had a darker shade of green and his silk mask was black.

Ren: Hope we're not late.

The beast rose from the ground and expelled some more air from its nose before opening its jaw. What came out was monstrous, as if it was growling, like deadly venom dripping from its voice.

Minotaur: Human of Kuroyuri. The town slaughtered by my late brethren. Too weak and frail to do anything but run and abandon them for these humans. You may have slain the Nuckelavee, but it was only far too late to save them. You failed Kuroyuri. And you will fail your friends too.

They charged at the Minotaur. It swung its axe, only to be blocked by Crocea Mors. Ren shot his guns, but it only had little effect.

Nora fired a few grenades aimed at its face, but they all the arm shielding it and back handed Jaune.
He was about to charge back in, but Ruby reached and gripped his arm.

Ruby: Remember the plan.

Jaune nodded, placed a hand on Ruby's shoulder and activated his Semblance. Ruby burst into petals, taking Jaune with her and split into three smaller projectiles. They manoeuvred across the bridge, passed the battle and made it to the other side.
Jaune gagged as soon as they got there and gulped it back down.

Ruby: You okay, Jaune?

Jaune: Yeah. But, more importantly, you think you can handle this?

Ruby: Yeah, just buy me some time.

He nodded and headed back to the fight. She closed her eyes and tried to focus on the thoughts on protecting all of Remnant, but she couldn't.

Her mind was clouded with nothing but the memories and grief of her team. Her lips pursed and her brows flurried. Her only thoughts were of when she was the only member of her team to make it out of that technological building that collapsed trying to keep one of the Relics from the Minotaur. To make it worse, she failed.

But she's here now. She couldn't fail this time. If she couldn't end this, then Yang, Weiss and Blake would have died for nothing.

Her eyes tightened with her shortening breath.

Behind her, the Grimm threw Ren at Nora and swung underarm at Jaune. He put up his shield, but it wasn't enough to block it completely, sending him flying backwards.

The Grimm marched back to Ruby, grabbed her head and forcefully slammed it into the ground, damaging her Aura.

Minotaur: The last Silver-Eyed Hero. You will join the rest of them.

Nora saw it lift its weapon high as it held her friend down. She pulled the trigger on Magnhild. Charges of electric arcs crawled up her scale mail sleeves. She raised her weapon above her head and struck the very bridge they were standing on.

Gravity pulled as the bridge shattered. Everyone fell to the ground below them. The beast snorted, slammed its fist to the ground and got back up, prioritising its attack on Ruby.

Ruby twirled Crescent Rose and shot a round to get back up. The Minotaur tried to follow, but the lines of StormFlower wrap around its leg and started to pull it back down.

Ruby was able to get back the platform with ease. Then, she heard a scrap and saw the creature climbing back up with the blade digging into the concrete.

Ren tightened his grip on his pistols, trying his hardest to pull the Grimm back. Jaune and Nora each took a line and the beast started to lose its hold.
The silver-eyed girl twirled Crescent Rose, struck the ground she stood on and shot it in the face point blank.

It wasn't much, but it was enough to get to lose all of its grip. The hold finally slipped and the pull did its job.

The creature landed on its hoof-heel talons and growled, snorting steam as it gazed deathly at its enemies with it. Then, it noticed something different about the white knight.

Minotaur: That helmet… It doesn't belong to you, human. It belonged to Pyrrha Nikos.

Jaune panted,
Jaune: You know about her?

Minotaur: Of course… I'm the one who killed her.

The Blonde knight's breath choked.

Minotaur: She was at my mercy, begging for her puny life. The world's great human champion, the Invincible Girl… Only to be reduced to a weak, helpless one. Her screams of pain and agony were so soothing, it was a shame that such great things came to an end.

Jaune scoffed bitterly and stood strong.
Jaune: Even I know that's a lie. I was there.

It growled and snorted again. It shook its head before ramming towards him like a bull on adrenaline. It hit him like a bullet train as Nora charged in, ready to grind the bovine beast into mincemeat.

The Minotaur slammed her into a wall. Making a small crater for part of the tower above to break apart and fall. Ren saw and ran and shot down the debris. When he reached her, Jaune threw shield to Ren. He caught it and held it above as the rubble came crashing down.

Ruby took a breath and guided her hand randomly to the Crown of Choice. Her eyelids lowered and thoughts and memories came into her mind once more, but still not the ones she wanted.

The creature leapt back to the platform and saw the shut eyed girl holding on to one of the Relics. The Minotaur held the handle tightly.

Minotaur: For Salem.
It muttered.

The feeling of dread passed through her. She looked back to see the Grimm swinging the blade down, but what should have been the sound of flesh and bone being sliced, was replaced with a solid metallic clang.

What caught the blade… No, who caught the blade was a blonde young woman with eyes of lavender blocking it with a robotic golden arm. She had a deep brown leather jacket with two horizontal yellow stripes painted across the zipped-up jacket and brown trousers. She also wore orange lens goggles, a black fingerless glove attached to a yellow wrist gauntlet and dark orange armoured pads for her shoulders, elbow and knees.

She smirked.
Yang: Sorry, but no one is going to hurt my sister on my watch.

She shoved the axe away. It was about to swing it again, only to have it shot and frozen. It whipped its head to its right, where the projectile was fired from, to see a white-ponytail girl with blue eyes in a white camo military uniform drawing a silver rapier.

Minotaur: Schnee.

She smirked.
Weiss: Ah. So, it remembers my name.

It let out a monstrous roar as it readied its weapon, only to have it shattered by a kick from a woman slinging across the room and landing near the edge of the broken bridge, retracting the black grappling back to a pistol.
This one had bob black hair with a pair of cat ears. She had a black catsuit with a grey coat and purple scarf.

It looked at the handle in its claw, then look to Blake. Gritting its teeth, it tossed the evaporating hilt aside and roared again before charging at her.

A flock white Nevermores rammed into the Minotaur, knocking it off the edge.

Ruby: You're all okay!

Yang lifted her goggles.
Yang: C'mon Ruby. It'll take more than a falling building to take us down.

Ruby: But, how did you-?

Blake: We had help.

Outside the tower, on the battlefield, a Bullhead hovered onto the icy ground as a black-haired man stepped out, removing a black tattered cape. He had white short-sleeve polo and dark brown trousers with a strapped sheath on his back, carrying a sword that's almost the size of himself.
Behind him was a boy holding a cane like a baton. He wore an orange shirt and a green coat. He also had black buckled combat boots.

In front of them was a tall woman with white hair cut in a flat top casually walking towards them with a silver rapier in each of her hands as the light blue flames in her eyes extinguished. She wore a white military suit with navy blue sleeves with the insignia of General at her shoulders.

Qrow: General Schnee, nice to know you're alive and well… and are showing up late.

Winter: Good to see you too.
She said sarcastically as she sheathed her blades at her hips.
Winter: I would have come sooner, but I needed to save my sister and her friends. Right now, they're helping their leader.

Qrow: Heh, Glad to know they're alive.

Oscar: As much as I'm grateful for your help in saving them, we have more important matters to attend to. Starting with the Grimm here.

Winter: I've already exterminated the last of the Grimm in the area.

Oscar: Good. Then, we must join the others.

They nodded and headed inside the Bullhead.

Jaune helped Ren and Nora out of the rubble and they looked up to see the all of team RWBY was alive and together again. They smiled seeing the tables turning.

Nora: Come on, we can't let them have all the fun.

It growled like a savage and spotted Jaune running towards it. It threw a fist at him seeing that he was close enough.

Jaune held up his shield and fired a Gravity Pulse, flinging the abomination to Nora, who did a two-finger salute and swung Magnhild like a golf club, grinning with glee.

Weiss and Yang swooped in riding on a Queen Lancer, shooting darts to pin it to the wall. Yang leapt off and gave the Minotaur one heavy punch, causing him to forcefully drag down the wall.
The beast picked himself up and Ren shot a pair of lines into the creature's back. He pulled himself in and landed his feet on its back, making it stumble.
Blake ran to the Minotaur. It tried to grab her, but it only got an explosion to the face.

It let out a few pants, doing what it could to keep standing.

Above they heard an engine closing in by the door on the second level. In rushed Oscar, Winter and Qrow. They observed the situation before them and decided to join the fight.

Winter remade the bridge with her ice. Qrow let himself fall and became his avian form. The moment he got near the ground, he brought out his scythe and aimed for its head. The Minotaur quickly took hold of Harbinger, but it failed to notice Yang, Jaune and Nora behind it.

The Minotaur flew back onto the frozen bridge. Oscar struck down with Long Memory onto the Grimm, making it hit the icy bridge with its back. They all followed back up and walked towards the monster ready to finish it off with Weiss, Yang, Blake, Winter and Ren on the side with Ruby and the rest on the other.

Suddenly, a red and black rift appeared and grew into a portal in front of the doorway. They readied their weapons, aiming at whatever might come out.

And there they saw on the other side was a woman in pure white skin and black veins in black silk and bone armour plating with red markings. At her right, a cloaked figure with a left arm of a Grimm stood. Her left eye was covered with a hard white plate with a crimson orb and golden iris. On her left, there was a red armoured female samurai with long black ruffled feather-like hair and a white Nevermore mask wielding a blood-coloured katana.

Qrow's eyes widened at the sight of red armour-clad woman.

The Grimm widened its unnatural eyes.
Minotaur: She's here.
It whispered.

Ruby looked back to the Relics. The flickering red was starting to stay longer.
She needed to stop this. She had to.
She could do this. If she fails now, then everyone will die. So many people have already lost their lives and she refused to lose anyone else.

She closed her eyes again, steadied her breathing and set her mind back to her memories. This time, they were just the memories she needed. Memories of her family, her friends. The people she laughed and cried with. The people no longer among them.

She smiled as she thought of the people fighting with her today. Altogether, they were standing, alive and breathing. Fighting for the lives of others.

A constant reminder of what she's fighting for. For a better future. For the families of that future. For her fallen mother. And most of all…

Ruby: FOR REMNANT!

Shining bright white light illuminated from her eyes. She could feel the darkness corrupting the relics dissipate, desperately trying to cling and stay.

Ruby: I need some help here!

WBY ran to help her and each took hold of the other three relics.

The light kept shining, the four pulled as hard as they could until the artifacts were finally separated with Ruby holding the Crown of Choice, Weiss with the Staff of Creation, Blake with the Lamp of Knowledge and Yang with the Sword of Destruction.

Ruby wiped off the sweat as she and the rest of her team smiled. Then they heard the growl of a certain bovine beast rising back up.

The Minotaur stood in heavy breaths, seeing that the Relics have been separated. It roared again with all its blood boiling rage, only to have the blade of Crocea Mors suddenly sprouting from its chest. The beast started to rise unwillingly as the blonde knight lifted it with his sword, using his shield to support the weight.

Ruby shot out another beam of light. The black muscle burned off of its chest, exposing something less monstrous underneath. A man's torso. Not of Grimm, but more… human.

Blake sighed and took the Sword of Destruction from Yang.
Blake: Whoever you were before you became this monster. I hope rest in peace.
She gripped it tight and gave it an uppercut slash, propelling it to their newly arrived foes.

Flying into the portal, everyone had one last chance and threw a barrage of attacks. Shots were fired, fire crackled, lightning struck.

That moment quickly ended as their foe made it through and finally hit the ground in front of its queen. Limp, dead.

The black mass on the body started to wither away. Leaving nothing but charred bones at her feet.

She looked up from the skeleton. Everyone stood in her gaze fiercely and sharply glared at the opposing individuals as the portal vanished.

The cloaked woman sighed.
Cinder: I warned you Adam Taurus would fail.

The Queen of the Grimm stood and stared at where the portal closed, not taking her eyes off that spot.
Salem: Indeed, you have Cinder.

Cinder: Master, what will you do now that the relics are in the hands of those… children?

The Witch slowly moved her head to her left-hand woman.
Salem: We were close to summoning the Gods, Cinder. Have no concern. We will retrieve the Relics again. They will not be able to seal all of them again without all four maidens. Or did you forget two are on our side, Cinder?

Cinder: No, I haven't.

Salem: Good.

She turned to the female samurai.

Salem: Raven, prepare our armada for departure. We're taking back what is ours.

Raven kneeled and propped her katana with the tip of the blade stabbing the dark ground they stood on.
Raven: All hail Salem.

The crowd of people and Grimm behind them repeated those three words with pride and undying devotion. Different individuals all under her command. A psychopath with a scorpion tail, a ginger head with a bowler hat, Faunus of the White Fang, bandits of the Branwen Tribe all followers of Salem.
They repeated and recited those words over and over until the Queen motion her hand to stop.

All was immediately silent as she let it back down. Her eyes started to shine crimson red and marched off.

Okay, this was based off of the Final battle in Justice League Snyder Cut. The reason I made the dialogue like a script was that it was for a little experimenting.

I first thought of the concept where Adam Taurus would serve Salem or become a Grimm would be like "What if he decided to follow her after he felt betrayed by the White Fang in Volume 5?"

Oh, and I've seen some AU reaction fics. You can use this if you want, but let me know first, okay?

When I made this, some of the roles were quite easy to choose. The rest, I had to tweak it a little bit and compared it to the movie clips.
The more I watched the clips, there more mistakes I found in the movie. Still, the Snyder Cut was the BEST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN!

AM I RIGHT?!

Anyway, hope you like it. Oh, and I'm currently trying to improve my writing, so tips are welcome.
