"Agh, ow. Ugh, that hurts. Ah!"

"Take it easy, hon. You're going to be ok."

"I don't know, Julie. Agh, I don't know."

Knuckles groaned in pain as he limped towards the house, leaning against his girlfriend Julie Su for support so he could make it, despite his sore back, bad knee and hurt foot. He was bruised in a few areas, a couple cuts here and there, plus a black eye.

The two echidnas had just been through an intense battle with a pack of dingo mercenaries hired by Robotnik to try and steal the Master Emerald, why did the psycho-tyrant want the gemstone so badly for some reason all the time?

When the dingoes attacked, Knuckles and Julie had been on guard duty at the time and were combat ready, but the mercenaries were tough. While Julie Su had managed to get through without a scratch, Knuckles was almost not as lucky as everyone thought he was.

The rad red brawler had gone up against three tough looking dingoes who not only packed a punch, but also had sharp weapons. While Knuckles wasn't stabbed severely, he still got hurt and still bled a little bit. Julie managed to save him before he lost the battle.

"A few more steps, sweetie." The shapely pink echidna said in a soothing tone, kissing Knuckles on the cheek, "I'll get you some medical attention to make sure your wounds aren't too bad." Sure enough, they reached the front door and Julie unlocked it for Knuckles.

She helped him inside the comfy, roomy shack Knuckles had lived in for a while, his pops and predecessor as guardian, Locke, had built it himself with assistance from Hawking. The house was also built near the Master Emerald Shrine, it also had a good view too.

Julie Su escorted Knuckles to the bedroom and helped him lay down on the bed, the red echidna grasped his arm, which was a bit more bruised, injured and beat up than his other arm. JS got a cold cloth and put it on Knuckles' head, comforting him softly.

"I'll get you a nurse." She said, an idea coming to mind. It was October and Halloween was coming up, Julie Su had been thinking about her Halloween costume and seeing the medical attention needing Knuckles gave her the final idea on who to dress up as.

Knuckles put a hand on his heart, feeling it beat and breathing a painful sigh of relief that his injuries weren't too terrible to a point where his heartbeat wouldn't stop. He groaned and struggled to sit up, but Julie Su stopped him before she left the room.

The pink echidna headed to her room, which had once been Locke and Lara Le's room until they stopped living here and JS moved in with Knuckles, before opening the closet and began looking through a selection of outfits before settling on one: A hot nurse outfit.

Rouge had suggested it and gave Julie Su the outfit the last time they talked, in fact, it had been the bat's outfit the previous Halloween. Julie laid out the nurse hat and the button up dress on the bed, thinking for a second with a sweet smile on her face.

Knuckles is going to love this. She thought, then she went into the changing area with the costume and started to undress. Back in his room, Knuckles was feeling achier than ever as if he couldn't move a muscle. Then the door opened and an alluring voice spoke...

"How are we doing today and what seems to be the trouble?"

The red echidna looked up, his jaw dropping and his nose starting to bleed as he took in the sight of Julie Su with hands on her hips, wearing a hot, revealing nurse uniform, showing off her figure and a small hat on her head.

"Um," Knuckles muttered, "Julie Su?"

"That's Nurse Julie Su to you, sweetie." The pink echidna replied, tapping him on the nose and licking his cheek, "And you look injured. Well, fear not, I will do my best to heal you for you got the best nurse on the island. How bad are your injuries?"

Knuckles groaned, "I-I feel dizzy, I got a black eye, a couple not so fatal but still bleeding knife wounds, my feet, knee and back hurt. Also, thanks for coming, nurse. You'll get me all fixed up soon so I can get back guarding the Master Emerald and busting bad guys, right?"

"Of course, the doctor or, rather, nurse is in and it's time to get to work." Julie Su got started, cleaning the dust off of Knuckles while tending to some of his bleeding wounds, cleaning the cuts of any blood before covering them with smooth band-aids.

"Very cooperative," The pink echidna whispered seductively as she gently rubbed Knuckles' achy ribcage with her smooth hands before putting a hot towel on it to help along with the healing, then she removed his shoes and started massaging his hurt feet.

Knuckles groaned in slight agony, especially when Julie Su nailed his sore spots and squeezed his toes. "It's not too bad," She said, "Your feet should be feeling better within a day, handsome. Just don't do too much walking and rest."

After tending to his bruises, achiness and scratches on his upper body and examining his hurt eye a bit, Julie Su rolled Knuckles on his front to examine his back to make sure it wasn't as bad they thought it would be, especially when that one thug hit him in the spine.

Being as delicate and gentle as possible, the nurse uniform-clad pink tomboy began massaging Knuckles' shoulders and back, adding to the healing process while often using a cloth to make sure it wasn't too bad, especially when soreness was easy to cure.

Julie Su tended to Knuckles for a minute until he was now starting to feel better, she sat down on the bed, kicked off her high heels and lay down upon the bed with Knuckles, the two of them looking into one another's purple eyes and smiling.

Rad Red rolled over and the pink echidna lay atop him, both echidnas beginning to kiss, Julie placed her hands on Knuckles' cheeks and the determined guardian placed his hands on her sides, holding her closer as they wrestled with their tongues

Julie pressed her body against the red echidna's body as the kissing continued on for minutes on end, the pink echidna rewarding him for his cooperation while Knuckles thanked her for being so nice and for being a sweet, sweet nurse.

The two broke the kiss to catch their breath, Julie Su whispered sweetly in Knuckles' ear, "Happy early Halloween, Knuckles. Hope you liked your treat."

Knuckles grinned, "Happy Halloween to you too, Nurse Julie Su."

Both echidnas chuckled, knowing this October had been a special one and this year's Halloween was going to be something indeed...
