Chapter 1: A Child's Hand

Noah Puckerman was in a patted cell in white p.j.'s and a straight jacket strapped to the bed muttering gibberish. When Burt Hummel and his granddaughter, five-year-old Liza Marie Anderson, come into the room. When Noah sees Liza Marie, he stops and stares at her for a while as his restraints are being taken off him. Then Liza Marie takes his hand and says, "Don't be scared, Uncle Noah. You're coming home wiff me and Grandpa Burt." Then Noah starts shaking his head, no, and says, "No, scared! Please, no!" Then Liza Marie hugs Noah and says, "I'll protect you, Uncle Noah." This made Noah get up and follow Burt out of the cell as Liza Marie held Noah's hand.

Noah was hit in the head overseas and had a brain injury. Not to mention severe PTSD and was not mentally capable of taking care of himself. His ex-wife Quinn had him put there because she couldn't take care of him in that condition. Quinn didn't tell anyone where he was until after she married her ex-boyfriend, Biff, and Burt was the one that petitioned to get him out of that place. Then Noah went to live with Liza Marie and her two dads back in Lima. It was a long road to recovery and Liza Marie was the one that helped him the most. He was still having nightmares and was sleeping in Liza Marie's bed with her because he was still too scared to sleep alone. Although that's not what he told her dads, and she didn't mind it anyway.

After Noah had been living with Kurt and Blaine for a year. He asked to talk to them after Liza Marie went to school. As he sits on the couch in the living room, he says, "I'm gay and I was raped." Then he sees the puzzled looks on their faces and says, "Before you start asking me a bunch of questions here. That's the reason I have PTSD and that's what I have been having nightmares about. I told Quinn and she just put me in the nut house before leaving me." Then Noah looks at Blaine and says, "I've been with your buddy Bas a couple of times in the last year. So, yea I'm sure I'm gay and I haven't wanted to be with any chick since what happened to me. Which was one of the reasons I think Quinn left me and Liza Marie is the only girl I still feel comfortable being around. Look, I don't really want to be with anyone right now and I'm not ready to go hang out with you guys at Scandals just yet." Then Noah looks down before saying, "I told all this to Mr. H. when Mr. H got me out of the nut house and he has been trying to get me to tell you guys ever since."

Then Blaine says, "Well, Puck, I've known for six months that you were gay because I heard you call out Kurt's name in the shower a few times." Then Blaine looks at Kurt before saying, "Kurt and Liza Marie already know this, but I think this is the perfect time to tell you, Puck. I have cancer and the doctor told me I only have two years to live. Ha, Bas told me about being with you and I know about you calling Kurt's name when you were with him too. Ha, I'm surprised that you didn't notice Liza Marie has been calling you Papa Nono for a while now." Noah chuckles before saying, "Ha, did you know Finn was dating Quinn when Kurt got Mr. and Mrs. H. together, Blaine?" Then Kurt blushes before Blaine says, "Ha, I owe Santana fifty dollars." Then he looks at Kurt and says, "I've been wanting to say this since the first time I heard Puck call out your name in the shower! You finally got one of Quinn's men."

This made Noah and Blaine bust out laughing before Kurt gets up to go to his bedroom. He doesn't shut the door and just sits on the bed before he just breaks down. Then Noah gets up and says to Blaine, "I got this, man." Before he goes to check on Kurt and shuts the door. As Noah stands beside Kurt, he says, "I love you, Kurt. Look I know I'm not Blaine and I know he is not dead yet. But I'm here if you want to talk or anything." Then Noah turns to leave when Kurt says, "Finn wasn't my first crush, Puck. All those times I would yell at you before we became friends. I was fighting with myself because I was into you and I was so afraid to tell you the truth. So, I lied to myself and told myself that I didn't love you. Then you had me spy on the Warblers and I met Blaine. Ha, now, Quinn's voicemail message she left Blaine makes sense."

Then he kisses Noah before saying, "She told Blaine we weren't invited to her wedding because she didn't want me to try and steal Biff from her. Ha, Santana and Brittany didn't go to her wedding and Santana told her it was because I wasn't invited." Then they heard Blaine say, "What are you two doing in there? Because I haven't heard that bed squeak once and I know Puck has had a hard on since he walked in there!" Then Noah says, "Are you sure you want to hear me fucking your husband? Or do you want to join us?" Blaine just says, "No thanks, Puck. Bas is still walking funny after being with you! Now, fuck my husband into that mattress!"

Soon the two men are naked and Kurt says, "I love you too, Noah. I mean I still love..." Before Noah kisses Kurt while saying, "Princess, you have a horny boyfriend that wants to fuck you into this mattress and a horny husband that wants to hear it. One day, Blaine asks to talk to Noah alone, and as soon as they are alone, Blaine says, "Puck, you weren't the only one that has been raped. I was raped as a boy by a male teacher before I started going to Dalton Academy and the same thing happened to Bas as a kid too. That's how we became friends. Look, I know, you missed out on a lot of things with Beth and I know I'll miss out on the same things with Liza Marie. I just want you to know, Liza Marie already loves you and you'll do fine."
