AN: Welcome back to another chapter; yeah, I said I'd end it here, but I realized that no one would read about 20k words in one sitting, so that the next chapter will be the last.
Without further delay…let's begin!
Start
"Not good enough, brat!" The undermining tone of Susanoo rang throughout the shaky tower.
Gedeon stood back up, sweat pouring down his face: the salty-tasting liquid touched his lips, and a quick lick instantly removed them from Gedeon's mouth. "Yeah, I know!"
"Registeel, Hyper Beam!"
Gedeon widened his eyes, and he quickly countered, "Ryouga, avoid it and follow up with Dragon Rush!" The Land Shark Pokemon bent down into a crouch position and jumped high into the air; the devastating orange energy beam shot forth with a boom.
Garchomp made a cry before a crystal blue aura burst to life, raging and whipping around Garchomp with the force of a barreling tornado. It flew downwards; its arms came close to its body, and its legs straightened up: It was now in its jet plane mode, swooping down with haste. Gedeon and Susanoo watched as Garchomp crashed into the strong Normal Type attack.
They didn't know that Garchomp was splitting the beam into two as it continued: However, Gedeon heard a groan soon after an explosion. Garchomp fell out of the black cloud and crashed onto the ground, defeated.
Susanoo gave a sound of annoyance, with Registeel giving a tune.
"Damn! That's already half of my team," Gedeon expressed; sadness was there, having not come close to beating the Registeel.
"Brat, you've been relying on Darkrai a lot."
"Have not!"
"When was the last time you even used Floatzel?" Susanoo questioned, which instantly caused Gedeon to shut his mouth. Susanoo quickly shook his head.
"I've been keeping a keen ear on what's been happening in the world, thanks to my pals here and kid; I can't say that I feel bad about what happened to you. I honestly didn't think my leaving would have that much of an effect on you, and I'm sorry for that."
Gedeon didn't say a word, as he tended to the fallen Garchomp.
"However, the only way you can have a chance at defeating Asmodeus is by defeating Legendary Pokemon," Susanoo continued; Gedeon perked up from his position with curiosity killing him.
"I don't think I can...the world doesn't need me, you're back, you can handle it," With a scowl, Gedeon returned Garchomp and turned around. "We've been battling for hours now; do you expect me to suddenly be able to defeat Registeel, Regirock, and Regice?"
Susanoo stood there, with his face beginning to show signs of disappointment. "Yeah, I do think so, kid."
Gedeon said nothing and walked away, leaving behind Susanoo, who sighed.
"What're we going to do Registeel?" Susanoo was now outside the tower, with Registeel standing over to his left side.
"Your time has long passed….he'll return to his senses, eventually."
"Yeah, but how soon is...eventually?"
Dreams
Gedeon traveled back to Eterna City; his eyebrows were quite close to each other it looked like a bushy Caterpie. But then, his eyes flashed forward, "I'm still weak; I did all that fucking training just to leave!"
The young adult paid no attention to the blistering cold as he walked into the dangerous snowstorm of hell. Honestly, he was so hot that the snow evaporated upon touching his body. Gedeon's fist clenched tightly; blood had begun to drip from the deep scratches on his dark skin.
"Was leaving the right choice?"
Gedeon paused to look at Darkrai, appearing out of his shadow, "Yes, I'll leave it up to Cynthia and the others to stop my sister; I have no desire to help any longer."
"I don't think you even believe what you are saying,"
"I do believe what I'm saying! Why is this burden suddenly placed on me? I didn't ask to be born into a clan filled with crazy, homicidal people!" Gedeon began to clench his jaw and continued to walk.
"No, you do not! You're a terrible liar!" Darkrai combatted.
"You know what Darkrai, If you want to be stubborn, then go away!" Gedeon fought back with his stubbornness; his face was all scrunched up, his eyes were in a rage of gold.
Darkrai didn't say anything else; only the harsh wind could be heard as the tension between Human and Pokemon rose.
"I'm heading back to Eterna City, I will not be helping in the upcoming war, and I will not sit here and act like I'm ready to fight for the sake of the world. That is not who I am!"
Knightmares
Unova was still recovering from its last assault by the hands of the Bloodbath Bisharps, and ever since, the crime rates have shot up by 20%; No one knew where Knightmare was as he was the resident vigilante who handled such things, but they do know that he wasn't there now and probably won't be for a long time.
"Ha! Get a load of this Boss; some wannabe kid thinks he can waltz up here acting like he's the new Knightmare," A rough voice came from some goon in a simple black vest that had the symbol of a Bisharp head on the back.
"Yeah, I can see that you nimrod," The supposed Boss wore an orange-colored vest with black slacks and boots that made him seem like a motorcyclist.
The kid in question was the average kid who seemed to have had enough of the bullying and decided to take the attack to the enemy.
"Look, kid, I wouldn't even think about trying to oppose me; it won't be pretty," The Boss of the group reasoned, which seemed sincere to say the least.
"No way! You've been hurting everyone here for too long! I'm going to beat you all up!" But, unfortunately, the kid didn't listen and chad in recklessly, leaving a lot of openings for his opponent to exploit.
The Boss pinched his temples and watched the weak tackle attempt on one of his goons, who only laughed and pushed the kid back.
"Last warning, otherwise; I will make you regret having a leg," The Boss warned with an impassive look on his face.
The kid didn't listen and went for another strike.
"EAT THIS!" The Boss gave a straight hook to the kid's face, the sound of a bone crackled in the air, getting the goons to cringe.
"DIDN'T I SAY TO SIT DOWN AND WALK BACK HOME! NOW LOOK; YOU GOT A BLOODY NOSE CAUSE OF YOUR FOOLISHNESS!" The Boss finally ticked and berated the fallen kid, knocked out from the single hook; blood poured from the child's nostrils like a river. It was disgusting.
"Take the brat to a Nurse Joy." The goons all obeyed and picked the kid up. "And NO trying to steal the Nurses maidenhood; we're not rapists, understood!"
"UNDERSTOOD!"
The Boss nodded and turned around, only to see someone he didn't expect.
"Seems you're still not used to restraining yourself, Doug."
"Jason, what the fuck? I thought you were still at HQ?" Finally, the Boss dubbed Doug managed to release the words he wanted to say.
"Yeah, I got a big mission to do in Sinnoh, so I'm heading there," Jason chuckled solemnly.
"Are you still going to stop Atlas?" Doug cut to the point, which got Jason to frown.
"It's much harder than in those damn TV series. I might have a breakthrough, though, and it's in Sinnoh."
"Hmph, well, as long as you can get it done, Atlas must be stopped and put down," Doug reached for a beer one of his goons had brought back and dismissed them with a nod.
Jason just stared blankly, "What will you be doing?"
"I'm going to be roughing up these normal folks; they need to learn to get sturdy because if Atlas does prevail, Pokemon won't be here anymore," Doug answered, taking a swig out of his beer before tossing it into a nearby trashcan.
"Heh, yeah, that's why I'm going on this mission; The boss's boss is crazy, anyway; my boat is here; I'll catch you on the other side, partner."
Doug remained silent as he watched Jason leave the area; Doug sighed and turned around to an alley; he watched as several men walked in and out of a door; all of them had satisfied looks of bliss on them.
"Maybe I should get me some action before the world ends."
Dreams
Night had fallen over Sinnoh, and the air was still as if everything had stopped moving; It was ominous and scary. Sinnoh residents were all asked to stay in their houses for the night; no one could roam free, getting everyone on edge. This was asked by Cynthia herself, which was even more shocking because Malo, the previous champion, had done this before.
No one had thought this was going to happen; trainers were upset, of course, but they complied.
"Things have begun to kick in; it seems," Gedeon broke the silence.
The young adult was inside a Pokemon Center in Eterna City. He managed to get here faster than usual because of a passing Helicopter that saw him walking in the dangerous snowstorm. Gedeon was thankful, of course, and accepted the free and warm ride to Eterna City.
"Back to where it all began," Gedeon sipped on some Tea that he had brewed, the mildly sweet taste got his energy boosted a bit, and he was ready to work.
To put back on the mantle of Knightmare. He didn't know why but he was so drawn to it, like an addiction or something. It was probably cursed. But he didn't care; he needed to get out there and figure out what's happening.
First, he'll need to get out of the Pokemon Center; despite him being a hero, that still didn't help him get clearance to leave. Gedeon jumped off the rental bed and walked to the bathroom on the left side of the room. Gedeon looked into the mirror and saw how fast his hair grew back; it no longer faded but was now shoulder length which was fine.
"Back to a ponytail you go," Gedeon took an accessory from his pocket and revealed it to be similar to the one Skyla uses for her hair, he didn't know why he did, but he kinda missed Skyla and her bubbly attitude. Gedeon was thankful it was green, so it looked like a clover.
Gedeon shaved the sides after putting his hair in a ponytail and left the top untouched. Next, Gedeon shaved his ensuring that it was neatly shaved and presentable.
For the past 20 minutes, Gedeon proceeded to get ready for the long and brutal night that was to come by. The young trainer knew that Calamity-Eyed Pokemon were still roaming around, which meant he needed to be out there helping them.
Gedeon looked at himself one last time and flashed his teeth; Gedeon couldn't help but admire himself. His charcoal-colored eyes were a bit darker than usual, but then again, that was his fault.
Gedeon's new outfit was simple and nothing extra; sporting a black compression shirt, which did nothing to hide his well-toned abs, a pair of utility black cargo sweatpants which was great for pocketing various items, and black combat boots.
The young adult walked out of the bathroom and went for his bag that he threw over his shoulder. A final addition Gedeon almost forgot was his black hooded gaiter that covered his whole head except for his eyes.
Gedeon looked like a robber with this outfit, but it was all he could muster right now. Gedeon's earlier quarreling with Darkrai left him in a sour mood; the Pokemon of darkness just didn't truly understand the burden he was carrying. Still, then again, Darkrai was only trying to help shave some of that burden off his shoulders.
"Yomi."
A brief silence occurred before a figure appeared from behind Gedeon.
"I'm here; I see that you're going out again," Darkrai spoke with a resonant tone, which made Gedeon sigh with some relief.
"I'm heading out...would you like to come along?"
Darkrai knew that this was a way for Gedeon to say "I'm sorry" without actually saying it; the young adult was sometimes confusing.
"Let us go."
…
Gedeon was now on the rooftop of the Pokemon Center; he was easily able to duck and hide from the Nurse who usually surveyed the halls; he did leave a note saying he appreciated all the hospitality.
Now that the young adult was outside, he could finally see Eterna City for its beauty at night.
Gedeon didn't know where to begin; this was troubling. Then it clicked to him that he should go back to that tavern in the cave near Mt. Coronet as he did before. So Gedeon jumped from the rooftop of the Pokemon Center onto another building with a mighty bound.
Gedeon looked around his surroundings, ensuring that any prying eyes didn't see him; he knew the lockdown would have people most likely frantic. However, this only caused more panic than anything else. This was similar to a pandemic if that's the right word. Then something happened.
Gedeon remembered a call he received from his Uncle, not by blood, mind you, but someone who also taught Gedeon about business, Giovanni, the man who runs Team Rocket. Of course, Gedeon knew that the shady crime boss was the Kanto and Johto renegade group leader, but that didn't strain their relationship.
Gedeon was more or less piqued by the turn of events, and hopefully, one day, he'll start his little group, minus destroying the world thing these groups had.
…
Gedeon made it back to the cave; staring down the entrance with his eyes showing signs of cautiousness; they surveyed the dark path just like before a few months ago and like before Gedeon walked forward, keeping silent as he did, his boots made no sort of noise, not a single squeak.
Gedeon began to hear noises and put a pep to his step; it seemed to be bickering of sorts if Gedeon had to guess; It was two females conversing; they seemed lively and a bit slurred, probably drunk. That wasn't a problem for him; Gedeon just wanted another one of those drinks from before.
Gedeon's chest emptied with a sigh as it released all the cautiousness from before. Gedeon looked to see the bar was relatively empty, with the two lively voices from before still chattering.
The young adult decided to look over to see who was talking, and his eyes widened, seeing who it was.
'Mars and Jupiter are here? What're the chances?'
"A bit of a shady getup, wouldn't you agree?" A robust tone from behind the young man spoke, getting him to turn around.
"Verde?"
"Ya know me?"
"Yeah, I came here a few months ago; the name is Gedeon."
Verde seemed to have swallowed a lump hearing the name.
"You're rather famous ya know, kid?" Verde walked past Gedeon as he took his place behind the counter, "I once helped your sister, Orochi."
"Dajana," Gedeon quickly corrected, getting Verde to nod.
"Sorry."
"Don't be old man, Dajana is my sister, Orochi is just her persona like Knightmare is mine," Gedeon explained, only to receive a confused gaze from Verde as Verde pushed up his brow. "Dajana is her true name, her true self, Orochi is the deep emotion within her; she's merely misguided. I took the mantle of Knightmare as a cover-up so that no one can learn who I truly am."
Verde slid a mug to Gedeon, who accepted it as the young man took the handle.
"Thanks, I'll need some info, but first, I gotta handle my friends."
"Sure, handle that."
Gedeon left Verde to his own and walked to Mars and Jupiter's table. Gedeon pulled his gaiter down to show his face as he approached.
"So Mars, what will you do when the war is over? I was thinking of training my ass off and taking a crack at the Pokemon League," Jupiter chuckled with her lips curving into a smirk.
"Don't forget we're still criminals, so we really can't do too much."
"Fuck, that's true, hate to say it, but it looks like we'll have to do something about that; I mean, Cyrus is trying to change for the better; maybe we should change too."
"That's the problem; where can we start? What if Orochi does prevail? What will happen to us?"
"Well, we'll most likely be dead."
"That's true, Deimos," Mars said unknowingly to the new voice.
"Uh, Mars."
"Yeah?"
"He's right behind you," Jupiter pointed, which got Mars to turn around to see Gedeon standing there, sipping his drink as if he was clueless.
"Am I dreaming?"
"No, It's me; How have you two been?"
"Well, I've been fine hotshot, but I think you might want to duck," Jupiter shrugged nonchalantly.
"Wh-YOW!" Gedeon had moved back, avoiding a jar to the face.
"You bastard!"
"Hey, listen, I was going to keep in touch, but ya know, I got issues," Gedeon put his hands up defensively, waving them as he watched Mars's face grow red with anguish.
"Not good enough, jackass; I owe you a few slaps to the face, and you're going to take them!"
"Will not!"
Verde watched with a small, visible smile. Then, Gedeon began to run around as Mars had brought out a mallet from whatever pocket dimension she got it from.
"Be a man! Take a hit to the head!"
"Are you trying to give me a concussion?" A frantic tune escaped Gedeon's lips as he began to dodge and move around the hidden bar.
"YES! I AM IN FACT, GOING TO GIVE YOU A CONCUSSION!" Bellowed Mars as she picked up a whole table, despite it looking too heavy for her build.
Verde just shrugged his shoulders, "A maidens wrath sure is something else."
…
Everything calmed down after about 20 minutes; Jupiter had stepped in and stopped Gedeon from getting his head caved inside his own body.
"So you've been out, I would've at least sent letters or something."
"I doubt I could've, given that you guys are still wanted," Gedeon defended.
"Ah! Right, I always forget about that."
"But besides that, we've kinda found a way to cure the Calamity Virus that's been happening," Mars still seemed angry, which made her expression much cuter to Gedeon.
"Really? I thought that we couldn't even figure out a cure for it," Gedeon asked with an amazed look on his face; he picked up his new drink and took a quick sip of it, letting the energy from the drink boost him.
"It took a lot out of Cyrus and Saturn-"
"Surprisingly," Jupiter cut in with a sly remark.
"Yes, they both worked nonstop and finally made a prototype," Mars took out a small vial that housed a green liquid inside of it.
"That's the Goblin serum or whatever it's called; no way I'm drinking that!" Gedeon said defensively.
"You don't get a choice in the matter, buddy," Jupiter said as she was busy drinking her 28th glass of beer.
"How do you drink so much?"
"Eh, It's a habit, I guess; anyway, hurry up and drink that shit already."
Gedeon sighed as he took the vial into his hands. "If I turn green and big...uh, just send me off-planet or something."
Both female commanders deadpanned at Gedeon's exaggeration. Then, finally, Gedeon decided to stop wasting time and drank the fluorescent green formula in one shot; the young man's shut closed instantly as the taste was putrid.
Gedeon wiped his lips and looked at the empty vial, "I don't feel any different."
"That's good, but we'll possibly learn more if you come back with us so that Cyrus can do more testing," Mars had an ambrosial smile appear on her lips as she saw Gedeon nod quickly.
"Sure, I'm ready to go."
Knightmares
Along the way back to the hidden base, Gedeon had to carry Jupiter back as all the beer and stuff she drank was beginning to kick into her system; he was sure she would have a massive hangover when she awoke. Gedeon knew she drank so much because it may have been the last time she'd enjoy such a parchment.
"Look, I just wanted to say; sorry for any problems I caused you; I just needed some time to myself; to find out what I should do; I suddenly got so caught up with helping out various regions with the Calamity problem I neglected everyone else," Gedeon managed to break out his apology.
"I'll be mad for a bit, but I'm glad you're not stubborn enough not to apologize, but you know, I'm glad that you're back...here with us, we all missed you," Mars spoke, Gedeon saw that her hands were fidgeting and couldn't help but make an apologetic— but happy smile on his face.
"Thanks, Mars; I do mean it; you're incredible."
"Don't be getting soft on me; we're going to win this; ya got it?"
"Of course-"
BANG!
A raucous sound could be heard in a distance as Gedeon and Mars stopped their movements. Jupiter was still sound asleep even after such an explosion.
"That back in Eterna City!" Gedeon began to grit his teeth as he thought of how dangerous that explosion could be based on the sound.
Mars also looked weary, and a bit of anger filled her, "You'll need to get there; give me Jupiter, and I'll meet up with you."
Gedeon looked at Mars and saw that she wasn't in the mood for an argument, given how her harsh glare had his very soul cowering.
"Right!" Gedeon handed over Jupiter and took off in a matter of seconds.
Mars watched Gedeon leave a calm expression now on her face; she took out a device and pressed a button.
"This is Mars; they're attacking us now. Send in the team to Eterna City!"
…
Gedeon ran through the dense forest with inhumane speeds; everything around him was just a blur. His only thought was saving the city from what he assumed to be his sister's first attack. But, of course, how were they able to move through the region without anyone noticing?
A ringing above him answered him, though; he saw a bunch of planes and ropes. Gedeon's eyes trailed down, and he saw people jumping off the ropes and landing on the ground with ease.
Gedeon jumped onto a tree and stood quietly as he watched the well-protected men send out a bunch of Pokemon that were mainly Water, Fire, and Dark Types. Gedeon knew he was outnumbered, and the Pokemon they were using were all highly difficult to take down.
Tyranitar, Feraligatr, and Typhlosion could be seen leading an army of other Pokemon that most grunts used, like Golbat.
Evening out the odds, Gedeon could take out a few Pokemon with one of his. If Gedeon was the last line of defense for Eterna City right now, then he'll act!
"Alright, time to destroy this stupid city!" A well-aged bald man said with a cold tone. He looked like he was in the military with his choice of clothing. There is a green tank top with brown khaki pants with a white belt, brown army boots, and shades.
"YES, SIR!" The grunts behind him all saluted.
However, a kid no older than five 5 years old walked out in front of the bald man, getting the man to halt his army with a raised fist.
"I'm going to defeat you all!"
"Kid, Do you think you can take out my whole platoon? Can you even carry a basket full of apples?" The man couldn't help but crack a smirk seeing the kid's face glow red.
"No...but I'll still-" The kid was going to say something, but he was interrupted.
"Hey, kid," A voice from behind the young kid spoke out; it was soft. The platoon looked shocked, seeing that they didn't see the man approach right in front of their very eyes.
"Whoa….are you the hero?" The kid asked.
The young man in the gaiter couldn't help but let off a low laugh that was filled with happiness, as shown with Gedeon's eyes seeming to sparkle.
"If that's what you wanna call me."
"OI! Who the fuck are you!" The bald man bellowed out with fury; his face seemed to be scrunched, giving him an ugly look.
"You can give me a name kid, what's your pick?"
"How about Night-Gazer?"
"With a hyphen?"
"Yup!"
Gedeon couldn't help but laugh as he and the kid both ignored the fuming red bald man; Gedeon then knelt and patted the kid's head.
"Then, you let everyone know, Night-Gazer is here to help," The kid beamed with a bright smile and ran away, making sure to tell everyone about Night-Gazer.
"Alright, you bastard, I ough-"
"Shut your mouth!" Gedeon interrupted; the young man snarled from behind his mask. Gedeon stared at the large group of people and Pokemon in front of him.
"YOMI! DARK VOID!"
The group all looked on in shock as in a dark blur they saw a figure fly high into the air; under the moonlight, they all saw Darkrai with its hands raised. "YOU WILL NOT DESTROY THIS CITY!"
…
Gedeon and Darkrai were both plowing through the enemy forces with relative ease; Gedeon ran around quickly to the point that he became a blur, knocking out enemy trainers with swift strikes, and Darkrai continued to put multiple Pokemon asleep.
After a while, Gedeon and Darkrai had finished destroying the rather small unit, leaving the leader speechless.
"I refuse to believe you did all this on your own! RAAA! Feraligatr! Aqua Tail!"
Gedeon quickly threw out another Pokeball, and in a flash, Ryouga, Gedeon's Garchomp, roared as it appeared. "Dragon Rush!"
Garchomp flew in with haste, leaving behind a dust trail; It was fast enough to outflank Feraligatr, striking it right in its back. Garchomp jumped back as a safety precaution.
"Ya' know; you wear the military getup, but that's probably as a coping mechanism because you're weak," Gedeon remarked slyly.
"You bastard, I'll-" Before the military man could speak any further, he was hit by a ball of iridescent green, knocking him into a nearby building.
Gedeon, Garchomp, and Darkrai blinked with their mouths open in shock; well, Darkrai just sweatdropped.
"Sorry, I'm so late!"
Gedeon knew that voice all too well.
"Gardenia! Don't worry about it, although, thanks for the save," Gedeon put down his hood to show his smiling face.
Gardenia appeared with what Gedeon saw as a Roserade. It has hair made of white rose petals and a leafy, green cape with a yellow, collar-like bangle on its neck. The cape pattern reaches toward the back of its head, in spiky, sepal-like extensions on the hair. It has a dark-green mask over its red, yellow-lidded eyes. The lower portion of its face is light green, and it holds a bouquet in each hand, with a red in its right hand and blue in its left. Its limbs and underside are light green. Its feet end with yellow tips.
Gardenia took a moment to look around and see that the unit of men was all either sleeping or knocked out with their mouths open.
"You're as strong as ever I see."
Gedeon scratched his head, chuckling a bit as Gardenia mentioned his strength, "They struck earlier than I thought; I was thankful that I had an energy booster."
"Same here; Eterna City was the first to be struck; Cynthia should be here in a few minutes; everyone else is placed in different cities to protect them."
Gedeon nodded, "I see, anyway, with Eterna City safe now, let's rope up everyone here until Cynthia gets here, yeah?"
"Right!"
Dreams
In Hearthome, everyone was indoors, following the lockdown protocol, except for one person in particular.
"Shoot, I knew I should've gone with Clementine," The voice belonged to Jack, who walked around the city with a tired look.
Jack heard a low, muffled sound, getting Jack to turn his head over to the source. Jack took small, silent steps before a giant, bipedal bear Pokemon lashed out at him.
"HOLY!" Jack managed to jump back, but the sharp claws of the Pokemon grazed his right cheek, leaving three bleeding marks in its wake.
Jack had no time to scream; he stared at the Pokemon in front of him with a stoic face, letting the blood flow, "An Ursaring..with its eyes blazing purple."
Jack thought the Ursaring was definitely under the influence of the Calamity Virus.
"Pangoro, help out!" Jack spun his arm before throwing his Pokeball, releasing his Pangoro, resembling a humanoid panda bear. It has a stocky build with a round belly, short legs, and long arms with large paws. Its head and belly are covered in thick white fur, while its lower body, chest, arms, and back are covered in equally thick dark gray fur. A long cape of this dark gray fur hangs down behind its back; in combination with the rest of the dark-furred pattern, this gives the impression that Pangoro is wearing a long coat and trousers.
"Low Sweep!"
Pangoro gave a grin as it watched the Ursaring charge in recklessly, which gave Pangoro the advantage with its rational mind. Pangoro curved its body and went for a harsh kicking swipe to Ursaring's knees, sending it falling into the ground with a large bang.
Ursaring didn't stop its assault as it quickly recovered and with a slash towards Pangoro's face. Still, the panda-like Pokemon took a step to the side and struck Ursaring in its face, but Ursaring stood there taking the hit before it dished its punch to Pangoro, getting it to snarl, baring its fangs.
"Throat Chop!" Pangoro quickly went for a chop towards Ursaring's neck, striking it with enough force to make it stumble back, "It's tough as nails."
Pangoro growled as it watched Ursaring shake off the effects of its attacks.
"I know Pokemon affected by the Virus are stronger, but….could it is that Ursaring has a passive skill? If so, it's probably the reason it's so persistent, which makes it a tough adversary,"
"Rr.."
"Yeah, I know; I'm not quitting now; this is the first fight of war!" Pangoro stared back at Jack, who put his thumbs up, getting the Kalos native pokemon to do the same.
Knightmares
In the nearby Solaceon Town, Clementine dealt with a female unit destroying everything in sight with their Houndoom's.
"You seriously think a Grass Type can handle all of our Pokemon? Get real little girl," A grunt said with arrogance.
Clementine remained silent as she and her Torterra stared down their opposition.
"You forget, that type of advantage doesn't matter, only your spirit! Torterra, Bulldoze!"
…
Nearby, Coral was dealing with a few oppositions herself; She and Samurott took down member after member with relative ease, not breaking a sweat.
"You guys are lightwork; I expected something else," Coral sighed with a disappointed look on her face, with Samurott sharing her pain. "I wonder how Gedeon is doing."
Dreams
"How was the first batch of our army?"
"Hate to say, but Tekhal was defeated easily and his unit as well in Eterna City."
"My brother?"
"Yes, Gedeon has proven to be much more a problem now that he's back."
"Very well; I will go handle him, now," Orochi walked away but stopped, "Koa, You guard Mount Coronet, Hachi; go to spear pillar and prepare. I will make sure Gedeon has no fight left to oppose us."
Knightmares
"That should be everyone rounded up," Gedeon said as he clapped his hands with a grin on his face.
"I'm still trying to process how you managed all this," Gardenia looked around with Roserade near her.
"Well, Darkrai helped out a lot more than me."
"I made it finally," Gedeon and Gardenia looked up to see Cynthia jumping off her Garchomp; a bunch of policemen came running up shortly after to haul the criminals to jail.
"Good to see you-Ow!" Gedeon said, only to get bonked on the head.
"That's for not sending any sort of letters to anyone."
"Right, sorry," Gedeon quickly apologized as he scratched the spot that was hurting on his head.
"But, good job; thankfully, you were here. I didn't expect Orochi to strike so early," Cynthia said as she surveyed the area. Eterna City suffered a few explosions, but no casualties were reported yet, making Cynthia feel better.
"What shall we do? I don't know where else Orochi's forces will strike."
A Policeman ran up to the trio with his breath hitched from all the running; his face sported a grim look. "Cynthia, Hearthome City, is under siege now; supposedly, Orochi has appeared there out of thin air! So They're requesting help!"
"Who's stationed in Hearthome City?"
"I believe Jack is the kids' name, he's holding them off, but he won't last much longer, I fear," The policemen replied frantically.
"Jack..let's get going; Jack won't be able to defeat Orochi, and worst-case scenario, she'll kill him when he fails," Gedeon wasted no time calling out his Garchomp, considering it'll get him to Hearthome City quickly.
"The same Garchomp from last time?"
"Yup, Ryouga has gotten better, but enough of that; let's go save Jack!"
"I'll stay here; I wish you guys the best of luck!" Gardenia cheered as she watched Cynthia and Gedeon fly off on their respective Garchomps.

"One of Gedeon's friends? The one who failed in stopping Tobias or Arthur; hm, did you get any stronger?"
"Who's Gedeon to you!" Jack demanded, which only caused Orochi to shake her head.
"I'm his one true sister, the one who'll change history; now, let's see if you can last a minute in battle, boy," Orochi lightly threw a Pokeball into the air, and a Gyarados appeared with a large bellow, shaking the ground in its wake.
"A Gyarados, eh? Alright, Electivire!"
Jack was hoping to end this quickly, going for the type advantage, but he was in for a surprise with what Orochi had in store.
"Type advantage?"
"Of course! That's basic rule 101, ya' know!" Jack joked but got serious right after.
"Heh, well, let's see you try," Orochi waved her hands in a 'bring it' like form, getting Jack to frown.
"Thunder Punch!"
Electivire spun its right arm before a burst of bright, yellow electricity appeared; It ran it with all the speed it could muster at the tall serpent who stood there menacingly. Electivire cocked its fist back and went to strike the crest on Gyarados's head, but it barely moved an inch, or better yet, flinched upon impact.
"What!"
"I've tampered around with Gyarados's genes to bring out the draconic blood they possess; Gyarados is no longer A Water and Flying Type, but a full Water and Dragon-Type. Thanks to that, my Gyarados is no longer weak to such elements."
Jack looked on with sweat starting to pour down his face as he watched Electivire return to his side. Jack didn't expect to hear what Orochi had done to her Pokemon.
"Now, I know that isn't all you have, Jack, right? But, do try to put up more effort, so destroying you, in the end, is much more satisfying."
"Don't try to rile me up; it's not going to work!" Jack said, but deep down, he knew he was kidding himself. He was fighting the big Boss here, Gedeon's sister, the one who's going to end everything.
"Who're you kidding? You're not strong; you couldn't even find your Uncle Jason," Orochi saw how quickly Jack's face twisted upon hearing about his Uncle; maybe she could use this chance to delay some time.
"That's right, your Uncle works for Team Saigai, or more like he's trying to stop Atlas; as per my request of him to do so, he joined my team of his own free will, Jack, but he always talked about you."
Jack listened intently, something told him that Orochi was lying, but she wasn't; she wasn't lying at all! So why would his Uncle even leave his post as a well-respected trainer to work with a criminal organization!
"Now, as per his request, I won't harm you because I always keep my promises; I think you know by now that you can't beat me and probably never will, Jack. it's not because you're fodder or anything, but because you don't know the essence of being a trainer at heart; you keep walking in the shadows of your Uncle, as long as you're a shadow; you'll never truly know your worth."
Jack stood there, with Electivire also looking quite gloomy, as its cord-like tails flopped down and the usual grin on its face now a deep frown.
"DAJANA!"
Orochi stopped hearing that name and looked up into the sky, "You've finally arrived, brother."
Gedeon jumped down and landed next to the frozen stiff Jack; Gedeon widened his eyes as he saw the look on Jack's face. He looked dead, like his flames burned out for good. Gedeon gritted his teeth.
Cynthia also looked angry, "What did you do, Dajana!"
"Nothing! A bit of psychological foreplay is all; he's just a shell, struggling to find his worth; he's not worth the effort," Orochi said as she rubbed her Gyarados nonchalantly.
"I'm going to defeat you! Here and now!" Gedeon said with a scowl on his face.
"You don't want to learn why I'm doing this, brother? This is the first time we're meeting face to face, well, for you, that is."
"What?"
"I've always watched you; the lady you met in the forest that time after you receive that scar on your face," Orochi pointed to Gedeon's scar that ran horizontally over his nose.
"That was…"
"Yes, that was me; grandfather wasn't there, which is why I took whatever chance I could to interact with you."
"Cynthia, I want you to take Jack to the Pokemon Center."
"But-"
"Just...do it, I'll be fine."
Cynthia wanted to argue, but she knew Gedeon and Dajana needed to handle this independently. So Electivire picked up Jack, and they both ran off.
"You're amazing, you know."
"How so?"
"You captured Darkrai, the Pokemon you always revered; you made friends, traveled the vast amount of regions, defeated the Legendary Pokemon of Unova, killed Ghetsis, and defied the fate that our clan follows, I never once thought that would happen at all, but you proved me wrong."
"Yes, and I'm going to defeat you and stop you from changing the world," Gedeon challenged as he threw his first Pokemon, which was his very own red Gyarados.
"And so, the fate of two Alexanders fighting continues; very well, brother, you don't seem to know the experience of defeat, allow me to teach you!"
"Heh, too bad for you, I know defeat in many ways, but this is one battle I can't lose!" The shiny Gyarados bellowed per Gedeon's comment.
"Then let's see if you're right! Gyarados!" Orochi jumped on top of her Gyarados; Gedeon knew what Orochi was trying to do and followed suit, jumping on his own.
"Ikari! Thunderbolt!" Gedeon pointed as he called out his move.
The sky battle began.
"You're going to need to do better! Counter with your own!" Orochi's Gyarados roared as it shot off its attack, colliding with Gedeon's Gyarados. Both attacks were strong and ended up canceling each other.
"Dragon Tail!" Gedeon ordered his next attack, jumping off his Gyarados so it could dish out the attack. Orochi snickered as she had to do the same; her next Pokemon was a Scizor.
Scizor is a bipedal, insectoid Pokemon with a red, metallic exoskeleton. It has gray, retractable forewings and hind wings with simple, curved venation. Its rounded head has three blunt horns extending above its forehead and eyes with dark yellow pupils. Scizor's thin, black neck connects to a black, teardrop-shaped patch on its thorax. It has large pincer-like hands that are used for its main offense.
Gedeon recalled his Gyarados and sent in his next Pokemon being his Magmar. "Fire Punch!" Magmar's fists were cloaked in flames as it ran after the Bug and Steel Type Pokemon.
"Rain Dance!" Scizor slammed its metallic pincers together and cried out towards the sky, causing shady, dark clouds to appear, letting rainfall heavily.
Magmar's attack began to power down as the water from the rain interfered.
"Now use Sand Tomb!"
Scizor slammed its pincers on the ground, causing Magmar to stop its running as it was caught in a tomb of sand beneath it, trapping it. It didn't help that the rain was annoying the Magmar as well. So Gedeon was stuck in a tight predicament.
"Now end it with Iron Head!" Orochi's Scizor began to flutter its wings as it glided over to the trapped Magmar, bashing its head onto it sending its body breaking the ground beneath it; the tomb of dangerous sand having disappeared.
Gedeon couldn't process the sequence of events that just played out in a minute; Magmar had the type advantage, but Orochi still defeated him with an array of moves in less than a minute.
"Your attack would've worked if Magmar was just a bit faster than it was, but sadly it failed."
As Orochi berated Gedeon's Magmar, he had already sent out his next choice, being Floatzal seemed to dance under the rain.
"You want speed? You got it! Noelle! Aqua tail!"
"Use U-Turn!"
Floatzel, however, had the ability of Swift Swim, making it outspeed Scizor in a battle of speed; the two tails of Floatzel struck Scizor in the stomach, causing its eyes to blank out from the heavy hit; Floatzel didn't stop as it threw Scizor into a tree nearby for added effect.
Orochi seemed mildly amused as Gedeon used her weather display against her, "Great, you defeated one, but the next one will change the tide!" Orochi sent out her next Pokemon, with it being Kommo-O
Kommo-O is a bipedal, reptilian Pokemon covered in scaly armor. Most of its body is gray with lighter gray areas and yellow and red markings. It has a rounded, beak-ish snout and small eyes nearly hidden under its head armor. On the tip of its snout is a patch of pale gray, and both the upper and lower jaws have a small, tooth-like spike on each side. An elaborate arrangement of scales covers the top of its head.
"What Pokemon is that," Gedeon's Rotom Phone appeared from his pocket and recorded the Data. "I see; Kommo-O is a Dragon and Fighting Type from Alola."
"And now you'll experience first hand its strength!"
Kommo-O slammed its heavy-looking arms onto the ground before charging in for Floatzel, who prepared itself for the strong Alola native Pokemon; Floatzel skipped to the side, avoiding a punch from Kommo-O. Floatzel ducked its head, avoiding a strike before it used its arm fins and struck Kommo-O on its right knee; however, Kommo-O didn't flinch and retaliated by punching Floatzel in the gut and hitting it with its tail.
Gedeon couldn't process the quick beatdown Noelle received; she was on the ground with her eyes blank, "Thanks…." Gedeon recalled Floatzel before clipping the small Pokeball on his waist.
"Sobek!" Gedeon called out as he did a flip to summon his partner, Krookodile.
"So, this is your new partner? What happened to Zangoose?"
"How'd-"
"I've practically watched you, Gedeon; you can't win; I'd surrender and watch as I wipe our clan from existence."
Gedeon's brow began to furrow, "You want to kill our clan?"
"Always have; grandfather was a madman; our ancestors were mad! You may be pure, brother, but I know deep down; you have that darkness waiting to erupt. You did so a few months ago."
"I was affected by the Virus!" Gedeon countered, but Orochi could only shake her head.
"The Virus brings out our darkest emotions; Asmodeus merely brought it out because you would've lost against Tobias and Arthur. I wanted you to kill your friends, so when I came to meet you, you'd join me, but that didn't work."
Orochi could hear the sound of something grinding; it was Gedeon gritting his teeth as his eyes burned with fury, his eyes became cloaked in a sun-like yellow.
"You're the mad one here! So you're doing all this because you're letting the past define how we'll become?"
"You don't understand! No one understands; can't you see? If our clan is gone from history, the world will be a better place!" Orochi's eyes filled with anguish; seeing Gedeon oppose her, could he truly not understand her?
"Of course, I don't understand! I probably never will, but what I do know is that no one asked for you to do this. Sobek Outrage!" Gedeon put out his hand as he ordered his partner to strike.
"Fine! You can perish along with everyone else! Kommo-O, Brick Break!"
Krookodile and Kommo-O didn't try to dodge; both Pokemon attacked each other with everything they could. Finally, Krookodile was pushed back from the sheer power behind Kommo-O's strength. Krookodile, despite being in a frenzy, ducked and punched Kommo-O in the face, only for Kommo-O to strike back, hitting its snout hard.
Kommo-O used its tail to push back Krookodile from its vicinity, but the frenzied Krookodile didn't budge and took Kommo-O's tail, which got the Dragon-Type to widen its eyes as Kommo-O was lifted it from the ground and into the air. Then, Krookodile spun Kommo-O around before slamming it on its back, causing the ground to shatter, and a painful cry from the Kommo-O was able to snap Krookodile out of its agitated state.
"We're not done! Sobek, strike it, Crunch!"
"Kommo-O, grab its snout and use Close Combat!"
Kommo-O did as commanded and was able to trip Krookodile with its tail. Krookodile watched in shock as its balance was disturbed but couldn't register anything else. Kommo-O gave it an uppercut followed by another punch before it was bombarded by multiple. Each attack was harsh and painful.
"COUNTER!"
Krookodile snapped its eyes open and dodged one punch before delivering its own before it copied Kommo-O's attack; Gedeon and Orochi herself were both stumped as Krookodile learned Close Combat itself; its final attack was a tail slap hard enough to send the Dragon and Fighting Type back at Orochi.
"You had me scared a bit," Gedeon sighed as Krookodile gave him a shaky thumbs-up.
"Interesting, your bond is phenomenal; however, this is the end."
Gedeon and Krookodile stood there, watching Orochi prepare her next attack.
"I was going to save this, but I'm sure you know about Sync Moves?"
"Lear…"
"Yes, that's right; I was able to harness the power of Sync Moves thanks to him, the Sync Stone! If you have a strong enough bond with a Pokemon, you'll be able to use it. You used an incomplete version when you were under the control of Asmodeus; now I'll show you the true despair of losing!"
"Stop it! You'll destroy the city!"
"Then I won't stop; everything will be destroyed, eventually."
Kommo-O's eyes had a crimson red glow before its scales began to rattle furiously; the air itself was beginning to shift under the pressure of the rattling sound. Then, finally, Kommo-O released a mighty roar before a wave of dragon energy shot forth at the opposing duo.
Orochi turned around her, head tilted down, "Goodbye, Gedeon."
A giant explosion happened; the attack pierced through many buildings before exploding on the city's outskirts.
"Come, Kommo-O, we still have work to do," Orochi said, her voice was trembling before she coughed. Kommo-O just watched with a gaze of sadness, knowing that its trainer was hurting from the battle.
Knightmare
"Did you guys hear that?" The shaky voice belonged to Looker as he continued to see many people being taken into the Pokemon Center.
They were all injured; most were trainers trying to help in the cause, but the opposition was stronger than them. Looker couldn't help but wonder how such people could exist.
"Guys, take a look outside…." Finally, an injured trainer managed to speak; they spoke in a defeated tone.
By accompanied by Cynthia, who had just brought Jack in, Looker walked outside, only to see the carnage and destruction.
"What….this is-"
"Despair," A voice butted in; Looker and Cynthia looked to see Cyrus standing there looking at the sight before them with an impassive look on his face.
"Who did this? Who could've-"
"Where's Gedeon?" Cynthia interrupted Looker as she looked around with a grave expression.
"Check the outskirts; that's where the main explosion was."
…
Cynthia, Looker, and Cyrus made it to the sight of the explosion, the forest that was here was now a complete wasteland; a single attack caused all this.
In the center, however, two figures lay on the ground. Cynthia ran up to the figures, who were both Gedeon and Krookodile. Gedeon was bleeding profusely; from what they could tell, he jumped in front of Krookodile to have it avoid serious damage.
"Why do I listen to you," Cynthia, with the help of Looker, picked up Gedeon. A low groan escaped his lips, and his eyes began to flutter open.
"Ug…she's powerful."
"Where is she headed to now?"
"Spear Pillar," was Gedeon's immediate reply before he slipped back into unconsciousness.
"She's already heading there!" Looker sported a defeated look.
"I was able to call in someone, someone who defeated me; you both should remember her," Cyrus said with his monotone voice.
Dreams
"Sorry, but you can't pass by here, missy."
"Dawn, you wanna handle this guy?" Dawn has a fair complexion, blue eyes, and long navy blue hair. Her usual outfit is a mini dress consisting of a black V-neck tank top with a white shirt, a short pink mini skirt, and a red scarf. She wears a white beanie with a pink Poké Ball print on her head. She also wears gold hair clips that hold up her hair in front. She wears a bracelet on her right wrist; she wears a pair of knee-length pink boots and black mid-knee socks above them. Her boots have a pink and white strap on edge. The rims of her boots are white, while the soles of her boots are greyish-white.
Right now, Dawn was wearing her pink, buttoned-up coat. The one who was talking to her was a boy who could be mistaken for her brother if it wasn't for the fact his hair was a shade of raven black. He wears an outfit more suitable for the weather in Sinnoh, which is a dark red full-sleeved shirt with a dark blue and black jacket over it, a white scarf wrapped around his neck, black denim pants with dark gray and white running shoes, and a dark red hat with a white and black semi Pokeball on the back.
"We gotta reach Spear Pillar before the one named Orochi does!"
"I'll stay then; you go on ahead."
"Right!" Dawn managed to slip past the hulking figure in front of her, but before the man could chase after her, the boy blocked his path.
"Sorry, but I'll be your opponent!"
"Hmph, no matter; That girl won't make it in time," The man dismissed his primary target and focused on the one before him, "What's your name, kid?"
"It's Lucas; I'm a research assistant for Professor Rowan, but I still know how to battle."
"Lucas, I see; my name is Koa, A general for Team Saigai; I hope you can give me a much-needed fight!" Koa stomped on the ground, his wavy black hair swayed in the wind, and his sandals seemed to be crushed under the pressure of the stomp before he threw his Pokeball.
In a flash, a bipedal feline appeared; it had a muscular build and a fiery aura about it. It has a short snout with a small red nose, bright green eyes with yellow sclerae, and tiny, pointed ears. Large tufts of red fur extend from its cheeks, and much of its face is also red. The upper half of its muzzle and the top and back of its head is black. A thin red stripe runs vertically along with its head to its snout, where it splits into a V-shape over its eyes. Its torso is gray with several black stripes and resembles a wrestler tank-top; the front and back have a single vertical stripe up the center, crossed by two horizontal lines. It was known as Incineroar.
"It's a Fire Type, so with that in mind, come on out and help!"
On Lucas's side, the young assistant summoned an Empoleon. Empoleon is a large, navy blue, penguin-like Pokemon. It has a wide, yellow beak that extends upward into three pointed horns that form a trident-shaped crest bracketing blue eyes. There is a blue marking resembling a crown over its eyes and a white, lacy marking running down its chest. A blue, fin-like projection forms a collar around its throat and runs down the length of its chest and belly. Two raised gold bumps and a second blue fin from its tail on its back. Its yellow feet are webbed with three toes each, and its feathers form ruffs above its feet. It has wide, flipper-like wings rimmed with blue along with the tips and three golden claws.
"Hm; going for the type advantage? That doesn't matter, Incineroar, Cross Chop!"
"Empoleon, counter with Whirlpool!"
And so, the battle between Koa and Lucas ensued.
…
With Dawn, she managed to reach the interior of Mount Coronet. This was the only way to reach the top, as flying straight up was impossible.
"I just hope Lucas can handle that guy; he seemed intimidating," Dawn's face was sad-looking; she didn't know if she should turn around and help Lucas or not; Lucas wasn't much of a fighter.
No, she couldn't stop; Lucas depended on her to finish her part.
Dawn looked around with a weary gaze; she knew how dangerous this place was when she came here almost four years ago; she was able to stop Cyrus from creating his new world and went on to challenge the Pokemon League; however, Cynthia was a force to be reckoned with. And that didn't stop Dawn from traveling.
Dawn stopped her inner musing and saw a group of military-dressed men walking around. The young trainer knew why they were here, and that was to stop any intruders from reaching the top.
"Hey! Stop right there!" A voice from the side of Dawn said.
Dawn quickly took the initiative and threw a Pokeball out; it was the first stage of Empoleon, Piplup. Piplup is a light-blue, penguin-like Pokemon, covered in thick down to insulate against the cold. It has a dark blue head with a primarily white face and a short, yellow beak. The dark blue feathers on its head extend down its back and around its neck, which causes it to appear to be wearing a cape. There are two white ovals on its chest, and a small, light-blue marking resembles a crown above its beak. It has flipper-like arms and yellow feet with three toes each.
"Piplup, Whirlpool!" The small Penguin cried its name before raising its small wings; a torrent of water began to brew before becoming a large whirlpool.
"H-hey, wait!" The unit of men began to panic, running away from the incoming attack.
Dawn couldn't help but smile to herself as she watched them flee the scene in a rush.
"Now, time to continue."
"Lup!"
"Fine, you can stay out of your Pokeball now," Dawn picked up Piplup and began to run through the mountain, hoping to reach the top soon.
Knightmares
"Striking at night was a good choice on their part. They expected everyone to be sleep."
"Don't give the enemy credit, Looker," Cynthia gave Looker an exasperated glare making Looker sigh.
"Sorry, It's just, Gedeon is out of commission and everything."
"It's fine; I shouldn't have listened to him; Orochi wasn't even going all out; she didn't want to waste too much energy," Cynthia paced in the room back and forth, Gedeon was in bed sleeping; Krookodile was lying down on the floor exhausted from the previous battle.
"We need to go," Cyrus broke the air, he didn't know how to feel, but he felt compelled to do something instead of babysitting.
"We-"
"He's right," A low groan escaped Gedeon's mouth; his eyes blinked as he stared at the ceiling.
"Gedeon!"
"Sorry for worrying you, but we really should get going," Gedeon managed to move his body; he looked at himself, seeing the bandages over his torso. It reminded him of his crushing defeat to Dajana. No, Orochi.
Cynthia spoke, "Not with you in that condition!"
"We have no choice; everything is going down in Spear Pillar," Gedeon countered, "If she reaches that place, all our effort is for naught!"
"He's right, Cynthia," Looker intervened, which caused the champion to look at him in shock.
Gedeon pushed himself off the bed and knelt to his Krookodile, "Sorry, Sobek, I shouldn't have gotten you injured like that."
Krookodile blinked before clamping its jaw on Gedeon's head. Gedeon's face crinkled at the corners as he smiled.
"I'm ready; I know what I must do," Gedeon said as he stood up tall, facing Cynthia.
"Are you positive?"
"No, but I've never been one to let something like this happen," Gedeon answered honestly.
Cynthia and Looker turned their heads to look at each other before seeing Gedeon fleer at them.
"Alright, fine, let's get going."
Gedeon, Krookodile, Cynthia, Looker, and Cyrus all had looks of confidence on them as they all seemed unyielding in their newfound resolve.
Dreams
Jason watched as he assumed his fellow subordinates rallied and destroyed everything they could. Jason could stop them, but the seed has already been planted. He was merely an overseer, a watcher. He had his mission, and that was to find Gedeon Alexander. Jason heard a lot about him and his exploits in Sinnoh.
Gedeon was a strong trainer, and some regarded him as a hero here in Sinnoh, which got Jason's blood boiling a bit; that meant Gedeon was a formidable opponent; Jason hoped to fight against someday, but today isn't one of them.
"Jason, is that you?" The former Elite Four member halted his movement and looked for the voice source; his eyes laid upon someone he didn't expect to see.
"Well, shit, how're you, Flint?" The Fire-Type Elite Four member of Sinnoh gave Jason a grin.
"I'm quite alright, although I'm surprised to see you here."
"I wish it was in better circumstances, Flint."
"Whaddya' mean?"
Jason gave Flint a pensive look, "I'm a member of Team Saigai; I'm here on a mission to see how everything goes."
Flint's face completely flipped, "You have to be lying!"
Jason shook his head, "Wish I could say I was but, I'm not here for a fight; I'm looking for Gedeon Alexander for my agenda."
Flint narrowed his eyes, "Why exactly?"
"I need his aid, my boss, Atlas; he's not normal, Flint; I believe Gedeon can defeat him."
"If what you say is true, then, help me, help Sinnoh out; if you do that, I'll help you meet him," Flint offered with his hand reaching out for a handshake.
Jason blinked, "Right, I'll help." Jason accepted the handshake and steeled his resolve, his eyes burning.
END
AN: And done! I hope this chapter was up to par with the rest. A lot happened in this chapter, with the introduction of Dawn and Lucas. This Dawn went on her Journey like in the games, but she'll retain her Anime characterization. Lucas is Rowan's assistant (Based on who you picked) like in the games, but like in the games, he also went on a Journey.
I won't immediately detail everyone's battle since that'll just be a waste.
The next chapter will be the end of this arc, it's been a long time coming, and I'm happy with everything that went down. I want to focus more on Gedeon and Orochi's battle and dialogue. Gedeon lost round one, but will he win round two? We'll have to see. The next chapter is more dialogue-focused as well since half will be character exchanges and the last half the final battle.
Idk when it is done, but if not by the New Year, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. If you guys haven't seen it, check out my Fairy Tail fanfic as well, I'll be uploading that weekly and this story monthly; it depends on how much energy I have.
