Iris Wilson had just finished eating breakfast with Ryunosuke, Susato, Herlock Sholmes and John Phoenix. She wiped her face with her napkin and excused herself, and so everyone went their separate ways.
Iris went into her lab and discovered that all of her machines had been stolen!
There was no note this time, but Iris could deduce that the most likely culprit was the thief who kept stealing from them, Arsène Lupin!
Iris shuddered, her contraptions were cute and fun when she and her friends had them, but now that they were in the hands of another, they could be used for evil! The smoke gun, cat-flap maker, the tracking devices... all of them were potentially dangerous and had to be recovered at all costs!
Fortunately, the fact that one of those inventions was a tracking device made this mission much easier. She took the Iris Radar out of her pocket, which Lupin had fortunately not stolen, and used it to seek out the thief. The radar took her away from the forest this time and towards a manhole in the middle of a curious village.
"It wouldn't do to pop it open and have a look, but I'll do that anyway," said Iris and she removed the manhole cover and went down. Inside the sewers she found a room full of her crazy machines and Arsène Lupin was sitting among them.
"NOW how did you find me?" shouted Lupin after falling over in shock.
"Modern technology!"
Lupin got to his feet and pulled out a sword similar to Ryunosuke's, but before he got anywhere near his target, she had snatched up the smoke gun and shot a dark cloud in his face!
Lupin started coughing and hacking so Iris grabbed all her contraptions and ran off with them.
"We can't let these ever get stolen again, so I want you all to look after them for me!" said Iris. She split her contraptions between Sholmes, Ryunosuke and Susato confident that they were now in safe hands.
