Metalia shifted and moved from where she had been gaining her strength at D Point; she had felt the power of the Silver Crystal when Elis was cut off from her. She desperately wanted it under her control.
Amy looked at her computer scans. "Something's happening at D Point. There's a huge evil energy surge. I think it's time."
Zoisite sighed, "Did you have to bring that to bed? I just got cock blocked by a computer."
"I'll make it up to you later. I'm thinking I could be the beautiful peasant girl, and you can be the lustful Duke."
He stood up and started to get dressed. "Let's go so we can get back for sex." He then pulled her to him so she could feel his arousal. "If you let me have your body, I'll make sure your family can keep it's farm." She moaned into his ear, "I'd do anything to help them. You can have me, but be gentle. I'm a virgin."
He ran his fingers through his hair, "You're testing my commitment to my vows right now. Let's go before I break them."
Amy sent a text to everyone that it was time to go after Metalia. When Darien read the text, his gut clenched. Now was the time to find out if he was enough to protect the woman he loved. He kissed Serena and said, "We both come back from this."
"Of course, my love."
They all met at the park transformed and ready to go. The generals opened a portal to D Point, and they stepped through.
Serena and the girls were absolutely freezing. "These outfits weren't made for the cold!"
"Sorry, we didn't want to drop in right next to Metalia accidentally."
Raye grumbled, "I'm going to kick you in the Staff of Truth."
"What?" Lita asked.
"Nevermind."
They trudged through the snow, and Serena was more worried about dying of frostbite than from Metalia right now. Darien took off his cape and wrapped it around her. She smiled up at him gratefully as her teeth chattered.
Serena wasn't sure she could feel her legs by the time they made it to the palace. They stepped into the warmth at D Point, and they all sighed in relief. She gave Darien back his cape, and they made their way through the halls.
It was in the throne room where they ran into Metalia. A face appeared in the cloud of energy, and she smiled. "How nice to see you again, Endymion." She then rushed at him and knocked him back. Sailor Moon screamed and rushed to check he was okay.
Before she could get there, he stood and looked at Sailor Moon in anger. He had transformed to look like Endymion, but dark energy encircled him. "Give me the Silver Crystal!"
"What?" she asked in horror.
He strode forward, grabbed her by the neck, and squeezed. "I will get it from you one way or another, Moon Princess!"
Sailor Venus yelled, "He's been taken over by Metalia now, attack him and save the Princess!"
Sailor Moon shook her head and cried. It was clear to everyone she didn't want him hurt. He squeezed harder and laughed, "You're weak."
She locked eyes with him trying to get through to him and have him come back to himself. Instead, she lost consciousness. He dropped her, and she collapsed on the floor.
He stood over her, smiling. "I guess I'll just have to kill you." He then pulled a sharp black rose and threw it at her, piercing her chest and causing her blood to run freely down her uniform.
"No!" The girls yelled in agony.
Sailor Venus shouted for her Love Me Chain and wrapped it around his body, yanking him away from Serena.
Metalia took that opportunity to attack them all. As the generals went to work desperately trying to fend her off, the Sailor Scouts focused on Serena and Evil Endymion. Sailor Mars, in all her fury, kicked out and landed a physical attack on him and he stumbled back.
He then launched a black rose attack, sending hundreds hurtling their way. Sailor Jupiter used her lightning to destroy the roses, while Sailor Mercury used her bubble frog to hide them from his view.
At the same time, Sailor Mars decided to use her powers on him and exorcised him. When that struck him, the evil energy was sent careening out of him, and he dropped to the floor, turning back into Tuxedo Mask.
He opened his eyes, looked across the room through the dissipating fog, and then he screamed out in agony. "No! Serena!" He quickly moved over to her, wrapped her in his arms, and kissed her forehead. The black rose piercing her chest broke him. He shook and wished he could undo what was done. He then saw her chest stop rising. She was almost dead.
He didn't even register the generals keeping Metalia at bay while he dealt with his heartbreak.
"Please, no. Please, no. Please, no. Please, no. Please, no. Please, no…." He kept repeating. "Save her!" Tears were pouring down his face.
In his desperation, he unknowingly accessed his Golden Crystal and transformed into Endymion, Serena then began to glow gold. He watched her wound knit back together and the red mark on her throat disappeared. He stood, holding her. He would protect her with all his power.
Once she healed, she transformed into Princess Serenity. She cupped his cheek and kissed him chastely on the lips, "Please set me down." She then pulled out her moon wand with the Silver Crystal. "Moon Healing Escalation!" she yelled and aimed for Metalia's eyes.
A bright white light illuminated the room, and when it was gone, Serena's heart's wish had come true. Laying there was an unconscious young girl. Tuxedo Mask wrapped her in his cape and looked around. "Time to go home."
He didn't feel even remotely bad putting the child with no memory in the orphanage. He thought that she deserved her fate, and maybe, she would find a good life like he did one day.
