Hey guys.

I've got another episode of Stay, I hope you like it!

VI:

Outside doors

The static had gotten worse since their fight.

Mono wasn't even sure if he could call that a fight, but still, he refused to talk to her, and so did she. Six kept to herself, playing with her ducks and keeping her music box close, fearing he may smash it. For his part, he just kept sewing some plushies back together, and sometimes, he just did nothing. The static noise behind his skull was starting to affect his mind and vision, sometimes, his view would turn static, and he knew the Flesh Walls were succeeding in corrupting him.

His mind was in a frail state.

The fact that Six knew about the loops and she never did something to change it made him feel so heartbroken. Yes, he did remember the truth in his past lives, but only when it was too late, as if the Signal Tower was mocking him for making him believe he'd have a chance of changing his fate. It was futile.

Or so they thought.

Here he was, inside a room he wanted to run away from, with a person that loathed him and he still couldn't understand why she wouldn't forgive him. Maybe he was doomed to be hated by everyone that looked at his face. Maybe he was born to become a freak, a monster in this broken world.

"Hmmm… hmm… m… Hmmm…" He hummed, following the melody of the music box. "Hmmm… Hm… mm… Hmmm… Hmmm…"

If he could only get the answer he was hoping to get, he'd just let her kill him, and get this over with. But he wouldn't go, not with that missing part to piece everything together.

"Hmmm… Hmmm… Hmm… m… Hm… Hm… Hm… Hmm…"

Missing part?

His vision glitched a little.

That's right, he thought.

He forgot about the remains of his friend.

The glitch and dark remain of Six.

Ha raised his head, as if expecting to see a window or something, to contemplate, even for a second, what happened to her after being left alone in Pale City.

Shadow Six kept walking, dancing around the streets, knowing the rain wouldn't affect her. She even got to play in a park she found. She smiled, remembering some of her container's memories, where her and Mono played around the school grounds, in the swing, the see-saw, she even got to learn to play with a ball.

She was in a good mood, she had to admit it.

She was pleasantly surprised Mono decided to stay by her container's side. Such a selfless act, no wonder he cared so much about her.

She hugged herself, while spinning around the streets, waiting.

She was waiting.

If things turned out the way she hoped, then…

"O̷̜̪͕̝͚̊̎h̷̯͕͊, ̷̠̫͖̃́̔̓̓͝M̶̙̰͌͝o̵̤̻̳̺͓̾̿̊̓̓ͅn̵̰͓̑̏̐̓̆̀ȏ̴̧̼̙̥̬̄̃͒…"

She giggled.

She just hoped her container could choose right.

Shadow Six glanced up at the tower. It looked tall, proud, not wanting to crumble down to pieces. She knew Mono was thinking about her, and that made her happy.

Just a little longer…

She closed her eyes, the rain was loud, but still, she could hear it… inside the tower, something changed.

The music box winding… was slowing down.

Yup, I got Shadow Six in this, she'll be important in the next chapters.

I'm in a hurry, so I'll read you guys later!
