Chapter 54-Breaking

Octavia's P.O.V

Octavia was sitting on her couch when the door was thrown open. She turned her head and looked at Bellamy. "What?"

"Murphy's here, and he's hurt," Bellamy says. Octavia nods as she quickly stands and follows Bellamy to the elevator.

"Has he said anything?" Octavia questions her brother, who shakes his head.

"He's not awake. The man that brought him has something to say, though," Bellamy tells her as they leave the elevator. They walk to the medical hunt and walk inside. Everybody stood inside of the hunt as Nyko and Abby tended to Murphy.

"This is everybody," Titus says to the man. "What happened?"

"I don't know. I found him by the riverbank not far from Mount Weather. All he said to me was they're in Mount Weather," The man says.

"Lucy, gather your men. We ride for Mount Weather," Luna orders the woman.

"It will be dark soon," Lucy points out.

"So what?" Anya growls at the woman, who says nothing as she leaves. Titus walks up to the man.

"You will be rewarded for bringing us, John Murphy. This is to be kept quiet," Titus tells the man, who nods as he leaves.

"If they're alive, they probably think Murphy's dead," Wells comments.

"That can't be easy. Everybody get ready. These people die tonight," Anya orders as she leaves with Luna. The others nod as they leave.

Raven's P.O.V

Raven sat with her back against the wall as she stared at the ground. She looked at Lexa, holding Clarke, who looked worse by the hour. She felt numb, Murphy was gone, and she felt like she died with him. "Raven," Lexa spoke softly. Raven looks the grounder Commander in the eyes. "Come here," Raven slowly stood up and walked over beside Lexa. She sat down beside Lexa, who wrapped her arm around Raven and pulled her in. Raven laid her head on Lexa's shoulder and let the tears flow again.

The man's P.O.V

The man watched the girls through the glass. He smirked as he left and went to the cafeteria where his men sat, eating and drinking. "Lucy isn't going to be happy I killed that idiot," A man named Dillon said.

"I don't see a problem. When Wanheda gets out of here, she is so broken she won't be a problem, and the Commander will be focused on taking care of her. The other bitch is the person who makes their shit. She'll be another problem we broke," A man named Matt said.

"Lucy put too many rules in place for this shit. We can't do anything anything to them. Those three are good-looking ladies, and two of them are fucking each other, and the others liked the idiot I killed," Dillon says.

"We have our orders. Also, Lexa and Clarke aren't common knowledge," The man says.

"Come on, man. She has barely left her side since they got thrown in there. It's obvious," Matt says.

"Fair enough," The man says. "We should get a letter from Lucy tomorrow telling us they know. We wait, and when they get close, we run," The man says. They nod as he leaves.

Lucy's P.O.V

Lucy was getting her armor on when Mance came into the room. The man had his armor on and had black war paint across the top of his forehead. "How are we going to warn them?" Mance growls at Lucy.

"We aren't. We're going to kill them," She answers calmy. Mance looks at Lucy in shock.

"They're our people," He says.

"Sometimes, the few have to be sacrificed for the good of the many. I never planned on letting them live. I just told them that so they would do it. They might talk, and I can't have that. You aren't going to talk, are you, Mance?" Lucy asks in a low dangerous tone.

"No, my queen," Mance says, fear laced in his voice.

"Good, now go get the men and wait by the horses," Lucy tells Mance, who quickly nods as he leaves the room.

Echo's P.O.V

Echo and Skylah had left Polis about two hours ago. The two women walked in silence. "Echo, Skylah," Jasper says on the radio.

"We're here, Jasper," Skylah says as she grabs the radio.

"They're in Mount Weather," Jasper tells them.

"How do you know?" Echo asks.

"A man brought Murphy back. He's hurt. I don't know how bad. I don't want to ask. We'll be leaving soon if you get to Mount Weather before us. Wait," Jasper says.

"Got it," Skylah says as she puts the radio away. They continue to walk.

Monty's P.O.V

Monty walks into the medical hut and looks at Abby as she cleans her hands. She glances up at him before she continues. "How is he?" Monty asks softly.

"He lost a lot of blood," Abby answers. "Monty, he needs a blood transfusion."

"Do you know his blood type?" Monty questions Abby who nods as she goes over to her bag and pulls out a large pile of files.

"It's the blood type of everybody that came down to Earth. The hundred at least. I have files from the Ark, but I always have these on me because you guys like to get hurt," Abby says with a small smile.

"That's good. Who do you need?" Monty asks.

"You can do it. But you'd have to stay here," Abby says. "You and Murphy have the same blood type."

"Okay," Monty says. "I'm not much of a fighter," Abby nods as he leads Monty over to Murphy and sits him down as she gets what she needs.

Clarke's P.O.V

Clarke listened as Raven cried and cried herself to sleep. She knew Lexa was still awake." I couldn't save him," Clarke mutters softly. Lexa turns her head and looks down at her. "I would have died months ago if Murphy didn't show up and I couldn't save him."

Lexa ran her hair through Clarke's blond hair as she spoke. "There was nothing you could do," Lexa says softly.

"I could have stopped him from trying to escape," Clarke argues.

"No one could stop Murphy," Lexa says as her voice cracks. "When he first came to Polis. The first thing he did was threaten me," Lexa says with a slight chuckle. Clarke cracks a small smile. She looked up at Lexa and saw tears start to rule down her face. Clarke leans herself up and leans her head against Lexa's. She needed to be strong for Lexa this time. She had cried enough. She was going to kill every bastard out there. She was going to avenge Murphy.

It took a little bit for Lexa to fall asleep. Clarke set her down and walked to the door. She knocked on the glass. The guard looked at her and opened the door. "What?"

"I want to talk to the leader. I can get you, Ontari," Clarke says softly. The guard nods as he leads her out. He leads her to the stairs and then to Dante's old office. The man sat at the desk with a grin on his face.

"She's ready to talk," The guard says.

"Leave us. I can break glass," The man says as he stands. The guards nod as they leave. The man stands up. "So, how do I get Ontari?" He asks as he walks up to Clarke.

"Lexa will do anything to keep me safe," Clarke mutters softly.

"Ah, a trade. Ontari or we kill you," The man says. Clarke gives a slight nod. "Look at me."

Clarke looks up at him. "You are a coward and a bitch. I should bend you over that desk and fuck you to make you see you are nothing," He growls as he grabs her chin and brings it up to his face. Clarke yanks her head out of his hand and headbutts him. She grabs him by his head and bites his throat. She bit down hard and pulled back, pulling open his throat up. Blood gushed out onto Clarke's face, and body as the man stared at her in shock as he stumbled back and fell to the ground. Clarke walked up to him and bent down.

"I am Clarke Griffin. I am the girlfriend of the Commander of the 12 clans. I am the ambassador of the Outcast Clan and the leader of the hundred. I am Wanheda. The Commander of death and I am not a coward," Clarke growls as he dies. Clarke pulls his sword and dagger out. "Six left," Clarke says as she leaves the room. She walks to the stairs. The guard turns, and Clarke cuts his head off. Blood sprays out of his stump as his body slumps and his head rolls.

"Five," She counts as she grabs his sword and walks down the stairs. She walks out and into the cafeteria, where Matt, Dillon, and another man stand. They all looked at her.

"What did you do?" Matt asks.

"I killed your leader. I killed your guard on the stairs, and now I'm going to kill you," Clarke says. She had no emotion in her voice as she spoke. The third man pulls his ax out and charges Clarke. Clarke dodges his sword and swings her sword into his back. Her sword goes halfway through his back. She pulls it out as he falls to his knees, and he falls down, rolling down the stairs. She turns and looks at the other two.

"Nice trick. I'll fuck you before I kill you," Dillon says as he pulls out his sword. Matt follows him and charges her. Clarke blocks both of their swings with her sword. Clarke blocks Matt's swing and swings her sword at his stomach, splitting it open. His guts spill out as he falls to the ground. Clarke turns and looks at Dillon. She drops her sword and pulls out her dagger, and throws it. The dagger goes into his dick. He screams in pain as he falls to the ground dropping his sword. Clarke walks up to him. "I'm sorry," He cries. Clarke kicks the dagger pushing it in further. Dillon cries out in pain as he falls on his back. Clarke walks, bends down, and looks him in the eyes. She drops her sword and grabs him by his head.

"You killed Murphy. I saw you," She growls.

"I'm so sorry," He cries. Clarke pushes her fingers into his eyes, and she cries out. Blood pours out. Clarke pulls her fingers out as he cries. "Please kill me."

"You'll die. Slowly," Clarke pulls the dagger out and stabs it into his stomach. She pulls it across as he screams. He opens his stomach, and he dies. Clarke stands up and walks over to Matt. She grabs Lexa's old dagger before she leaves. "Two,"

Clarke stopped at the beginning of the quarantine zone. The two guards look at her and charge. Clarke ducks under the first swing and shoves her sword through the chest of the first guard. She turns around quickly and stabs the sword through the back of the second guard's throat. She lets the sword go, and the man falls to the ground, dead. Clarke walks to the door and pushes it open.

Lexa's P.O.V

Lexa and Raven stood as the door came open. Clarke stepped in, and both of the women looked at her in shock. Clarke was covered in blood from head to toe. Her hair had gone from a golden blond to bloody red with blond parts left. Her face was red, and her clothes had stains all over them. Her hands were completely red. "Let's go," Clarke says. Her tone was emotionless and low. Clarke turns around.

"Clarke," Lexa says. Clarke turns and looks at her and stares Lexa in the eyes. She didn't recognize the woman she was staring at. Clarke's stare shook her to her core.

"Let's go," She growls as she leaves. Lexa and Raven share a look before they leave the room. They step over the guards' bodies and follow Clarke up the stairs. They hear up to the top. The walk to the door. It was dark out as they stepped out of Mount Weather.

Thanks for reading. This was a very fun chapter to write. It was very bloody, and I don't get to write that often, and it was also emotional. Clarke let go of her humanity while fighting these guys. She wanted them to feel pain, and that is another different side that I hope to explore more. Clarke broke this chapter. As always, suggestions, ideas, and feedback are welcomed. Until next time.
