"Beep beep beep" Is the first thing heard breaking the early mornings' silence.
" I guess it's time to get up, " says a young man who proceeds to roll over reaching over to his alarm clock, turning it off. The Boy proceeds to think to himself " I wonder if he will be able to beat me today Nah probably not" thought the boy as a slight smirk grew across his face.
He also thought to himself " if he would just put in some extra effort he would be able to beat me" The boys' previous smirk begins to dwindle turning into a slight frown.
The boy has now gotten out of bed putting on a pair of tight blue jeans and a white button-up shirt which has a small stain from the previous nights' dinner. He now goes downstairs to cook some breakfast for him and his brother. After 20 minutes a beautiful assortment of food can be seen strewn across the table, you can see everything ranging from eggs and Bacon to soba and katsu don.
The now very hungry lad screams at the bottom of the stairs "Kurai get your lazy ass down here and eat!" After saying this a man dressed in all black can be seen starting to descend the staircase.
You can hear every creak of the stairs because Kurai had never bothered fixing them. " Keikaku, you know my patrol is at night, why can't you let me sleep in!" He said in a huff.
Keikaku then says " As a 25-year-old and a hero you have a responsibility to wake up early and on time every morning." " and as a 15-year-old you should not have such a big stick shoved so far up your ass!" Kurai rebutted.
" Either way you need to be up so you can watch me and Jokustas training match today since you are our only ticket into the quirk training room," Keikaku stated.
Kurai then said in the most sarcastic tone you could ever imagine. " oh yeah the guy who's always three hours late must already be there waiting for us!" The two brothers stood there saying nothing until they both burst out laughing after having such a repetitive argument.
As they are laughing Kurai secretly covers his feet in shadow (Kurai Cheyne quirk: shadow manipulation, he can manipulate darkness and shadows being able to create weapons and stealthy shadow boots)so he could get some food while Keikaku is distracted,
but unbeknownst to him, Keikaku had noticed his brothers plan and filled the room with a blinding light (Keikaku Cheyne quirk: energy projection, he can create and condense energy being able to create a multitude of things out of this energy) dispersing all of his brothers' shadows. Keikaku proceeds to say " hey what do you think you're doing you just insulted me and my friend you're not getting any food"
"goddammit fine just get in the car so I can drive you to the agency, which I am being so kind as to letting you use the training room of," said Kurai angrily.
On the way to the agency, there seems to be a traffic jam. "What do you think the problem is?" "Probably a low-level villain." Just as Kurai said this an explosion sets off causing a massive amount of panic. Kurai hopped out of the car so he could try and quell the people's worries.
"Everyone, stay calm, more powerful pro heroes will be here soon!" " Until then please evacuate the immediate vicinity!" Kurai and Keikaku then looked up seeing a tall man dressed in a green hero suit, and as they saw him they heard him start to speak.
"Do not fear for I am here!" It was the number one hero Deku. The man in green proceeds to fly where the explosion was set off. All the hero could see was a man dressed in what looked like metal armor. He then rushes at the man, but something unexpected happens.
The man in metal was able to backhand the number one hero out of the sky causing him to crash in the building next to him. Keikaku and Kurai were dumbstruck watching the supposedly unbeatable man be smacked into a wall with no discernible effort.
"Kurai was the number one hero just bitch slapped into a wall?" "Yes, I think he was." "I believe we should speed up the evacuation process." "Yeah I'll, get right on that." Kurai began to scream at the people " everyone get out of here as fast as you can!"
As the people began to run faster away from the scene Deku floated himself out of the newly made hole in the building he hit. "That was a strong hit but you will come to see mine is stronger." The man in metal became very angry at this comment, as he began to stomp around destroying the ground he was standing on.
But the genius Deku made him angry purposefully so he would be distracted and he could attack. " Detroit smash!" Deku screams as he hits the man in metal causing his armour to break and fall off. Everyone near the hero began to cheer. "Hooray!" "Woo-hoo!"
Kurai and Keikaku then let out a sigh of relief, but little did Keikaku know this was the first of many battles that he would have to witness and partake in.
