Harry Potter and the Department of Mysteries

Harry is now 19 and looking for a job as Auror, and gets hired. He has to pass multiple tests, and passes. Later on, Harry tries to figure out what the veil is, but so is someone else. Krum retired from Quidditch, but goes back. Friends are tortured, Aurors die. And at the center of it all is love, in Harry Potter and the Department of Mysteries.

So, there are not that many good HP fanfictions out there anymore, and the good ones, mostly everybody has read them. HP fans find themselves watching MovieFlame videos, shipping characters, etc. I'm not saying that's bad, but with the limited content aside from the Fantastic Beasts series and some skits, there's really no new content except fanfictions. So, my main goal here is to entertain. It shouldn't matter whether my writing style isn't good, or isn't identical to J.K Rowling's, or if it's the same old boring world with the same storyline. It should matter that there's something new to read that I hope will not be boring.

Now, my second goal is to write about those nineteen years of nothingness between the end of the 7th book and the epilogue. HP fans got a good idea of what happened during those 19 years by searching "What happened during the 19 years Harry Potter" but it's not entertaining when it's not in a platform where you can enjoy what happened through writing or a book or even a movie. I'm getting some advice from Reddit HP fans if I should split it into 10 fanfictions, 5 fanfictions, 2 fanfictions, or maybe just 1. This one here.

My third goal is to continue the Harry Potter universe. Even if J.K Rowling thinks that writing a book about an object like the Mirror of Erised is too much, then add more of a storyline. Make more Mirrors (I credit berkeleyjake for that idea, check his fanfics out)! Add characters! Or what about the Time-Turners? Their destruction? Maybe their revival? New characters? I want to continue it in a way it spans from the HP universe, but not the same plain "Expelliarmus". Try something new, maybe, Magna caput? Iter multo? (They might be used and the description of all-new spells will be put after the book is finished) What I'm saying is, Harry Potter has a lot of lore. A big root. But I want to add branches, like a story on the Time-Turners! Or grow the root (which is what I'm doing here).

Now, a bit of information. THIS IS BASED ON CANON AND WILL HAVE NON-CANON THINGS. It's my adaptation of those 10 years, the facts that we have from J.K Rowling herself, and then create branches off of that.
