Keta let out a loud scream in a mix of pain, anger and frustration. A scream no one would hear. She had been left behind in a cave. Left to die. Left to rot in a place where no one would ever found her. Left among other corpses she had helped put there.

She felt around in the darkness and quickly found a corpse. A fresh corpse. Probably the last one they put there before she was dumped there. She felt around and found the buttons of a shirt. It had to be mister blue plaid shirt from last week. She tore on the shirt until some of it ripped apart. She bandaged her stomach in the darkness and started making her way out. At least she knew this cave by heart. She would not get lost in there.

It took a while but finally she started seeing light. She kept making her way forward until she stepped out of the cave. Her russet brown eyes blinked at the sunlight. It was a lovely day. A weird contrast to all the darkness currently floading around inside her. She grabbed a fistful of her long, creamy blonde hair and held it out for her to see. To no surprise it was dirty from having been lying inside that cave. She turned her eyes towards the town and gritted her teeth.

"You made a big mistake, boys!" She growled to herself. "A big fucking mistake!"

She made her way towards the town. Once again it took longer than normal due to the pain she was in and how tired she was. She was aiming for one specific place first. The doctor Sasha Banks. Keta didn't trust Sasha one bit but Sasha didn't need to know that. Sasha had a part to play, and Keta would make damn sure that Sasha would play it.

She finally made it to the doctor's house and rang the door bell. The door was opened a minute later. Sasha looked surprised to find Keta of all people outside of her house.

"Keta?" Sasha asked. "What are you doing here?"
"I need your help," Keta said.
"What happened?" Sasha asked.

Keta yanked her tank top up and removed the homemade bandage to show the wound.

"I was left behind," Keta said.

Sasha knew the code language in this world. Left behind meant left for dead. In this case Keta had been shot.

"I need you to remove the bullet and stitch me up," Keta continued.
"How the hell are you still standing?" Sasha asked.
"Must be the viking blood from my ancestors," Keta said. "Are you gonna help me or not?"
"Of course. Come inside," Sasha said.

Keta followed Sasha through the house to the room in the back where Sasha kept all her medical equipment. Sasha pointed at the examination table and walked over to a cabinet to find what she needed.

"It's probably best if I put you under first," Sasha said.
"No!" Keta snarled.
"It's gonna be very painful," Sasha said.
"I don't care," Keta said. "I just spent who the fuck knows how long in a place where I was supposed to die. I'm not closing my eyes again. Not until I know it's safe. What day is it today?"
"Monday," Sasha said.

Keta nodded. Monday meant she had been in that cave over night. The last thing she remembered was Sunday. She hadn't been out for too long then.

"Okay, suit yourself," Sasha said. "Lie down."

Keta lied down and grabbed the edges of the examination table. She gritted her teeth for a short while but ended up having to let out a scream of pain as Sasha dug the bullet out of her body.

"There, hard part's over," Sasha said. "Now I just need to stitch you up. I got whiskey waiting for you afterwards if you'd like some."
"That sounds great," Keta said. "Can I shower here?"
"Of course. Right after I close this wound," Sasha said.

Keta kept staring at the ceiling while Sasha stitched her up.

"There, good as new. Well, almost," Sasha chuckled. "Go take a shower. There's towels in the dresser in the hallway."
"Thank you," Keta said.

Knowing that Sasha followed her movements, Keta found a towel and went into the bathroom. She closed the door and looked around. An electric shaver was left on the sink. Apparently Sasha had been in the process of shaving her legs when Keta arrived.

Keta dropped the towel, started the shower, grabbed the electric razor and moved back to the door. She opened it as silently as she could and slipped out. She could already hear Sasha's voice talking away on the phone. She knew exactly who was on the other line. The people who put her in that cave.

"No, I'm not bullshitting you," Sasha said. "She's here. I just dug a fucking bullet out of her stomach and stitched her up. You did a shitty job with her. I thought you were supposed to be professionals."

Keta moved into the room. Sasha had her back towards the door.

"She's in the shower right now," Sasha said. "If you hurry over here, you can..."

Keta used the cord from the electric razor. She wrapped it around Sasha's throat and tightened it. Sasha dropped the phone and started fighting for her life. Keta was well aware that the three people on the line heard everything. She wanted them to hear it all. This was their one warning. It didn't take long until Sasha gave up and her body went limp. Keta let go of the cord and instead picked up the phone from the floor.

"I know you're listening," she said. "I'm coming for you."
