A year after Raven and Apple married, they were throwing a small party with their friends and Queen Snow White in attendance.
"So, are you two going to tell us what this party is for?" asked Queen Snow White as she and a few others stood around a small table.
"Guess it is time that we tell you," said Raven who couldn't hold back a smile.
"Tell us what?" asked Briar.
"I'm pregnant," said Apple as she rested her right hand on her stomach while sitting on a chair that was at the table.
"What?!" asked everyone while staring at them with shocked expressions.
"Okay, we all need a little more context here," said Cerise.
"Raven has been teaching me magic since we got married," said Apple as her right hand was engulfed in a red magical aura.
"Of course, this is a magical pregnancy," said Queen Snow White as a look of realization over took her shock.
"A what?" asked Ashlynn.
"A magical pregnancy, only those who have magic can experience it as it's caused when the magic of two people detect the want for a child," said Hunter. He was aware of these types of pregnancies since his family had worked for the Queen family for generations.
"We were thinking of adopting, but then we got this surprise," said Raven while resting a hand on her wife's shoulder.
"This calls for my special tea, it'll help make the little one grow nice and strong," said Maddie as she pulled a tea set out of her hat and began to set it up on the table.
"Thanks Maddie," said Apple.
"So, how far along are you?" asked Cedar.
"Four weeks," said Raven.
"And it doesn't matter if it's a boy or girl, as long as it's healthy," said Apple as she placed a hand on her stomach at the same time that she smiled.
"That's right," said Queen Snow White who was proud of her daughter. Everyone then began to sit down and started to drink the tea that Maddie had poured for them.
