Fatima was sitting in the pillow fort she had built with Rountree, when she had an idea. She grabbed a pillow off the couch and slung it at Rountree. It hit him square in the face. He turned and saw her smiling guiltily. He grinned and slung it back. Pretty soon, they were on the ground wrestling. He pinned her wrists above her head. Her laughs instantly turned to whimpers.

"Let me go, please," she begged. Rountree realized what was wrong and immediately let go.

"It's okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you're okay," he whispered over and over. She crawled into his arms, then grabbed a pillow and hit him in the face. Rountree grabbed her wrist. "Hey. Do not do that ever again. You scared the shit out of me, Fatima. I thought I scared you," he said.

"You did. I just didn't want to think about that. I just wanted to go back to having fun," she said quietly. Rountree softnened.

"Give me hug," he said firmly. They hugged and then separated. They immediately went back to throwing pillows at each other, and Rountree was careful not to hurt or scare Fatima.
