Dust flew into the air and explosions went off. His own heavy breathing muffled the sounds of the screams of the innocents loosing their lives, the laser blasts from the ships, and the foot soldiers slaughtering those who stood in their way,
But this was no time for distractions.
Never once in his life had he felt so alone, no one to turn to, no one to save him but himself.
He sprinted through the ruined and empty streets of the city, hoping to catch a breath and think of what to do next. However this was interrupted when two laser blasts went off, almost hitting him. However even though the lasers missed him, they managed to hit some nearby exposed gas pipes, causing an explosion to go off.
He flew into the air and landed on his chest. He groaned in pain as he tried to pick himself back up. He heard footsteps and lifted his head to see the monstrous soldiers approaching him.
Kion shot up from his bed as he tried to catch his breath. He was covered in a thin layer of sweat, the stressful dream, or specifically a memory, stressed him out that night. Kion was able to remember where he was and was able to calm himself down. "Just a dream," He said to himself. But no one had any idea on how much Kion wished that was true.
Kion stood up from his bed, and put on the long red jacket, which had gold outlines and a popped up collar. He walked through the halls of his ship before making it to the deck.
The deck had a large window that doubled as an HDD display, and a red podium that held a golden steering wheel that controlled the ship.
Kion leaned against the steering wheel and gazed into the vast yet calming view of space, along with the small image of earth, slowly growing as the ship approached the planet. "Couldn't sleep huh?"
Kion snapped back from his thoughts, and was even a bit startled. He looked to the entrance of the ship's deck to see his fellow crewmate standing there. "Um yeah, it's nothing." Kion said.
"Well it seems like something." Rani retorted as she entered the deck. She joined Kion as she also began to admire the stars, and the view of the Earth. To find a planet like Earth that hasn't been conquered or destroyed in the universe was something mostly unheard of, which is what made the planet seem even more magical.
"Yeah well I just want to keep my focus on our mission." Rani smirked and nudged Kion with her elbow. "Whatever you say Captain!" Kion chuckled at Rani's little remark.
Rani sighed and smiled as she viewed the calm ambience of space. After everything she has been through, it has been a relief to see it just…..calm and peaceful, no war, no death, no warships, just a small little oasis in this vast universe.
Then suddenly the alarm system on the ship went off. Kion and Rani had no clue what was going on, or why the alarms went off until a flash of green fly past them.
Four teenagers yawned and rubbed their eyes as they exited their sleeping cabins, trying to wake themselves up. "Can't the Zangyack go one day without making out lives hell!" The one in the blue jacket named Bunga shouted.
"GUY'S, COME ON, GET TO THE DECK!" Kion ordered through the intercoms as he watched a fleet of Zangyack ships approach them.
The space pirate ship's parts began to move, and revealed five smaller ships. The five smaller vehicles moved into position as they came together to form one bigger machine. The giant machine wielded two swords, it had a captain's hat on it's head that acted as a helmet, and each of its limbs were each color coated to represent each of the warriors that are used to pilot the massive robot. "These guys never rest do they!" Bunga remarked
Kion grabbed hold of the golden steering wheel, which acted as the main controller for the mech. "Lets just hurry this up!"
Small ships flew after the Mech, firing bright green lasers at the giant fighting machine, in an attempt to slow it down. However the mech was extremely agile, and had powerful thrusters that allowed it to move so quickly in the vacuum of space. The giant mech pulled out two swords and began to slash at the Zangyack ships.
The Zangyack ships were destroyed in a blaze of fire as the ships exploded in a fiery inferno, leaving a clear path straight for Earth. Seeing this, the six space pirate took this opportunity to sly straight to the earth, avoiding the Zangyack's forces. The giant mech disbanded and returned to their original forms, and the ship set sail for the planet's surface.
"THEY WHAT!" Yelled a humanoid man, whom wore fancy clothes that were more elegant, compared to his servants that surrounded him, who wore clothing more equipped for battle than prestige. The man slammed his fist on the armrest of his throne in a fit of rage. "I'm sorry sir but the Pirates managed to get through out ships." One of the generals said.
"I WANT AN INVASION TEAM SENT TO THE SURFACE THIS INSTANCE!"
"Yes Boss." one of the henchmen said. He bowed down and walked out of the room to carry out the prince's orders.
Once the ship entered the atmosphere, it made its way over to the northern region of the United States. The city the ship descended on was fairly large, and was very close to the mountain region of the area, allowing for the citizens easy access to the forrest if they so desire.
The six teenagers looked out in awe, admiring the lush planet that was Earth. As there was something, familiar about the place they haven't seen in a long time. Once the ship found a good spot to stay at, the six teenagers leapt down to the planet's surface.
The six looked around them, as reasonably they would be curious about the planet they would be staying in for a while. The nearby citizens were a bit confused as to where they came from, as such some of them were backing away from them, while others would just pull out their phones and post onto social media, not that the six cared anyways.
"Alright so what now?" The girl in the yellow jacket and blue jeans, nammed Fuli asked asked. "How are we supposed to find the treasure on a planet this big?"
"I suggest we should split up and ask the locals if they know anything." Spoke the boy in the silver jacket and orange pants named Ono.
Bunga's eyes drifted off as he noticed a small group of teenage females passing by. "Yeah let's split up." He said as he prepared to walk over to the females. However his attempt failed as Fuli quickly grabbed his jacket and pulled him back before he could do anything stupid.
"Let's eat!" Kion said. Everyone looked up in confusion as they watched their leader walk towards a nearby restaurant.
"You sure we should be goofing off like this?" Fuli questioned while the others followed their red cladded leader.
Bunga shrugged his shoulders as he followed Kion into the restaurant. "Hey, I'm hungry also! What's the worst that's gonna happen?"
The six teenagers entered the eating establishment. They found a spot to sit in, and Kion was the first to order his food. Everyone for the most part ordered the basic hamburger and fries and stuff. However since this wasn't really a fast food restaurant, they had to wait a while for the food. Not even the little coloring pages that were given to children were able to entertain Bunga for long.
But after a while, the waitress came out of the kitchen with everyone's food. She placed the dishes out on the table and walked off. Bunga eagerly grabbed the Hamburger and was about to take a bite out of the dish.
However he was interrupted by several explosions going off, causing the building to shake. Everyone stood up and ran out of the building, much to Bunga's dismay. Everyone looked up to the sky to see what was causing the commotion. "REALLY!?" Bunga shouted in frustration.
"COME ON, LETS GET BACK TO THE SHIP!" Kion ordered.
Everyone obeyed and followed the red-haired teenager through the city.
People crawled pout of the destroyed ruins of the buildings. Then a large ship flew over them, dropping dozens of foot soldiers known as Gormin. They wielded swords that doubled as blasters and canon launchers. They wore an armor chest-plate with a large X on the front, and helmets that covered everything except their eyes and alien fangs, which would rip off a human hand in a heartbeat.
The people that were unlucky enough to be the closest to the Gormin were the first ot be shot down, with everyone else running away for their lives.
And what emerged in the middle of the chaos, was a large alien figure, whom was covered with dark grey armor and surgically mounted laser canons on his arms, which covered his hands. He quickly noticed a small group of adults and children, and took pursuit of them.
The six teenagers sprinted through the destruction, however they quickly realized that something was off about Kion. They stopped running and saw him just standing there starring off into the distance.
Everyone caught up with Kion and looked to where he was looking. And they saw the alien warrior walking up to the group of people, as they were screaming helplessly out of terror.
"Go ahead, scream, It will only make this more enjoyable!" The Alien shouted as his laser canons slowly began to charge up
Bunga awkwardly pointed off to their ship. "Aren't we going…. to go back?"
"This planet is going to be done for if the Zangyack are already here." Fuli said.
"They'll turn it into an imperial colony." Beshte added.
"Just like what they did to our homeworlds." Rani finished.
Kion clenched his face as he saw the monster was ready to fire the laser cannons upon the group of people, while mocking the children that were crying. "I don't like it!"
Kion pulled out his blaster and fired at the alien soldier, and killed the Foot soldiers that surrounded him.
The air became silent, as everyone looked over to see the six teenagers walking over. Each with a look of determination on their faces.
The monster recovered from the blasts and looked off to see six teenagers, one in silver, one in green, one in yellow, one in blue, one in pink, and one in red approach him. He took notice at the style of their clothing and figured out who they were very quickly. "So. You are the pirates that have been irritating the Prince. Do yourself a favor and walk away before things get ugly!"
"ZIP IT YOU MORON!" Fuli shouted back
"What!" The monster said, whom was clearly offended by the disrespect Fuli had shown to him. " I AM ONE OF THE ZANGYACK'S MOST FORMIDABLE WARRIORS THEY EVER HAD, YOU DON'T WANT TO MESS WITH ME!"
"Well here's the thing." Kion said. "We're after the greatest treasure in the universe, which happens to be on this planet. And you are in our way of accomplishing our goal of finding the treasure which I don't like. And when Pirates don't like something, we wreck it!"
The monster grit his teeth in anger. And from behind him landed a new set of Gormin ready to fight. "This is the Zangyack empire we're talking about, not even the insane would even dream of messing with us."
Everyone reached into their coats and pulled out a smaller figure which was in their respective color. Kion smirked at the monster. "It's not like we have much to loose!"
Everyone flipped the legs of the figure up, turning it into a ranger key, and in their other hand they flipped open their morpher, which glowed in their own colors and created an energy noise as the morpher began to power up.
Everyone held their right arm, which held their ranger key out and the other hand that was holding the morpher have the top end of the morpher rest against the forearm of their right arm. "GOKAI CHANGE!" Everyone shouted in unison. Then they flew the arm that held the ranger key towards the morpher. Once the key was inserted into the morpher, they turned the key, which made the top of the morpher shift into a small X like shape, as a bright multi-colored glow went off.
GOKAIGER
"Gokai Red"
"Gokai Pink"
"Gokai Blue"
"Gokai Yellow"
"Gokai Green"
"Gokai Silver"
"Pirate Sentai. Gokaiger" The six shouted in unison.
Kion held up his blaster and started to fire at the foot soldiers. "Let's make a show of it!"
The Gokaigers pulled out their respective weapons, which mostly consisted of a Saber and Blaster, with the exception being Ono who wielded a spear, and ran into battle against the Gormin.
Rani climbed up high on a destroyed building firing at the Gormin that tried to swarm her. However their massive numbers pushed her to the edge of the building, forcing her to jump and grab hold of a wire, allowing her to swing to another ruined building. Once she landed she was quick to fire and slash at them
Fuli sprinted through the ruins of the destroyed building, and was able to quickly react to the soldier's attacks as she made quick work of them. However the Gormin managed to surround her so she fired at some of the Gormin and used that small opening as her means of escaping the foot soldiers.
Bunga climbed up high on one of the telephone towers. However the Gormin followed him as they also began to pace up the metal bars like a ladder. Noticing this, Bunga jumped off and grabbed hold of a Wire, which slowed down his landing as he also began to fly up and down. However aside from a small headache, Bunga was enjoying this and opened fire at the Gormin.
Beshte remained on ground level, which much to his discomfort meant he had to deal with the most Gormin. However he was able to keep them at bay as he used his strength to push them back to he could have a better chance of focusing on getting rid of them.
Ono cautiously jumped all over the battlefield dodging the Gormin's attacks while trying to handle the large trident he carried. However the Silver Ranger wasn't looking and he tripped on a nearby brick, causing him to fly forward and accidentally stab a Gormin through the chest. "Oops!" Ono said to himself.
Kion parkoured all over the battlefield, blasting and slashing away any Gormin that crossed his path without breaking a sweat. He jumped to the top of a nearby car and was able to blast away more Gormin. And the Gormin that were unlucky enough to jump onto his level were quickly met with a brutal fate.
Fuli was being surrounded by Gormin, as well as Rani at the same time. "RANI CATCH!" Fuli shouted as she tossed a blaster towards the Pink Ranger. "HERE!" Rani shouted back as she tossed her sword to the Yellow Ranger.
Both Rangers caught their weapons and made quick work of their opponents, taking them all down, before trading their weapons back.
A group of three Gormin ran up to Kion, with their canons mounted on their shoulders. They fired their missiles at the Red ranger, however he was able to dodge them and instead open fire at the Gormin, effectively getting rid of them.
"HEY GUYS, CAN WE FINALLY USE THE OTHER KEYS WE HAVE!" Bunga suggested as he tried to run away from the Gormin.
"I'M WITH BUNGA ON THIS ONE!" Rani added.
"ALRIGHT, LETS GROUP UP!" Kion ordered
The six multi colored rangers grouped up and stood together. They pressed the button that was on top of their belt buckle, which gave them a ranger key. They flipped up the legs of the ranger key and held their arms out like how they did before. "GOKAI CHANGE!" The Gokaigers inserted the key into the morpher and activate it.
MIGHTY MORPHIN
A bright light flashed from the morphers. Once the light died down the six Rangers took on the forms of a different team, Red being a Tyrannosaurus Rex, Pink being a Pterodactyl, Blue being a Triceratops, Yellow being a Saber Tooth Tiger, Black being a Mastodon, and Green being a dragon, whom also sported a Gold chestplate.
Kion pulled out the Power Saber, Rani pulled out the Power Bow, Bunga pulled out the Power Lance, Beshte pulled out the Power Axe, Fuli pulled out the Power Daggers, and Ono pulled out the Dragon Dagger.
The six ranger charged into battle with their new weapons, slashing and blasting their way through the battlefield. However the most notable fighter was Fuli as she was the one who made the most use out of her weapon. She was able to quickly react to the Gormin's attacks with the daggers she wielded.
"LETS TRY ANOTHER ONE!' Bunga suggested.
Everyone pulled out a new set of ranger keys from their belts and held them out. "GOKAI CHANGE." The six shouted in unison. Everyone put the ranger key into the morpher and turned it.
TIME FORCE
Kion, Rani, and Bunga pressed a button on their wrist-mounted device known as chrono-morphers, which summoned blades that are shaped like the hands of a clock known as Chrono Sabers. The three rangers jumped into the air and initiated a Time-Strike upon the soldiers.
Meanwhile Beshte and Fuli summoned the V3 and V4 canons, two giant blasters that emitted high capacity energy blasts, with Ono using the Quantum defender, a small hand-held blaster that is one of a kind, and fired upon the Gormin, causing several explosions to go off.
Everyone grouped up again and pulled another set of ranger keys from their belts, as they did not want to give their opponents a single chance to recover and adapt to their situation. "GOKAI CHANGE!" They shouted in unison. As they activated their morpher, an energized head of each of the ranger's dinosaurs flew off before curling behind them and energized their new suits on them.
DINO CHARGE
Beshte used the Raptor claw, Ono used the Ptera Saber, and both Bunga and Fuli just used the Dino Sabers while Kion and Rani used the Dino Morphers as their weapons. As the battle ensued Rani and Kion stood back to back as they fired upon the Gormin that surrounded them.
However amidst all the chaos of the battle, Kion was distracted, as his focus was shifted over to the Pink Warrior. He was hypnotized by her, not just because of her beauty, but her elegance, and agility in battle. And although he wouldn't openly admit it, he felt something with her. "KION!" Bunga shouted, trying to snap Kion out of his trance.
Kion quickly reacted, as he quickly blasted at the nearby foot soldiers whom almost got the jump on him. Kion stopped to catch his breath after he made quick work of his opponents. "Kion buddy, you got to pay attention." Bunga said, knowing full well why he was distracted in the first place.
"Shut up." Kion said, as he was blushing under his helmet from embarrassment. However Rani glanced over at the Red Ranger and she smiled under the helmet. Bunga however just casually shrugged and went up to his teammates.
The general quickly recovered from the attack, and he was not happy with what was going on. The thought of loosing to six adolescent humans was embarrassing, so much to the point where he would be ridiculed by his peers for loosing to them. Not willing to let such mockery happen to him, he charged his weapons to full power, and fired at the six multi-colored warriors.
Kion was the first to emerge from the explosion as he leaped into the air and slashed at him, with the rest of his team doing the managed to do enough damage to the point where the General was distracted for long enough so they could finish him off. "Lets finish this guy off, he's getting on my nerves!" Kion said
A small cylinder with a Keyhole pooped up from the saber. The rangers pulled out their Keys and placed the Keys into the saber. The saber glowed into the ranger's respective colors, with the exception of Ono who instead wielded a Trident, and they began to power up.
FINAL WAVE
The General looked up as he saw the bright glowing lights. He instinctively held his arms up, trying to block the attack that was about to come. However there was no escape, this was the end of the line for him. "GOKAI SLASH." Kion shouted as him and his team released a powerful wave of energy at the alien monster, effectively destroying him as he is engulfed in a huge fireball.
The smoke cleared off and what remained was…nothing. The general was absolutely destroyed. A bright flash of light went off and the six de-morphed out of their ranger forms, and began to walk off into the distance, much to the surprise of the nearby civilians whom had just witnessed the fight.
The ship flew above the skyline, high above any buildings in the city below as the sun set down, creating somewhat of a bright yellow-orange effect over the area. On the ship's tower, which had a flag perched on the top, stood the six teenagers, looking over the new planet they would be staying in. "So….what now?" Bunga asked.
"We just keep on looking until we find it." Kion answered, as his gaze was fixed upon the city. Something about the place was so familiar to him. However he couldn't exactly put his finger on it.
"That's going to be difficult with us being on the Zangyack's radar." Beshte responded, as he looked to the sky to see slight silhouettes of the Armada ships orbiting the planet.
"Well all we can do now is survive. Just like we always have done for the past few years." Kion turned to his teammates and smiled at them. The rest looked back and smiled. The six held out their ranger keys. "Until the Journey ends." Kion stated.
