Solar System. June 1, 22 BBY. The 2nd Year of the Clone Wars.
During this Era the Clones are still in Phase 1 Armor while the Jedi like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker still wear their Jedi Armor and some don't. It was after the Republic freed Ryloth from the Separatist and a month later. Parts of the droid fleet near the area were being chased down.
General Kenobi's fleet came out of hyperspace in the Sol system on the edge of Republic space. Obi-wan Kenobi in his Jedi Armor turned to his clone commander. "Cody, what do we know about this system?" he asked
"Uncharted. Nothing beyond a basic survey from several hundred years ago. Nine planets orbiting a G-type star. Third planet inhabitable, fourth would need terraforming for it to be habitable. An asteroid belt between the third and fourth planet." replied Cody
"So why are we here?" asked Obi-Wan. "A CIS ship made the jump to hyperspace on a vector that passes through this solar system. We're to search the system and then rejoin General Skywalker's fleet."
"Understood, very well. Begin the search, launch reconnaissance fighters to extend our sensor range." After several hours of fruitless searching, a fighter picked up an old style radio transmission. "General Kenobi, we're picking up a radio transmission from the third planet sir." "Put it through" said Obi-Wan.
Radio: "This is John Connor, if you're listening to this you are the resistance...
Cody: "The rest is garbled sir. Should I set a course for the third planet?", Obi-Wan: "Yes. And try to contact this John Connor, we need to know what exactly they're resisting.". "Yes sir" said Cody with a Salute as he set a course to the third planet.
Earth on Downtown Los Angeles. June 1, 2017
John Connor popped up from cover and fired a ten-round burst into a T-600. The rounds pinged of the skeletal armor. "Aerostats!" someone yelled. "Let's finish off this T-600 first! Everyone fire on the upper chest that is where it is vulnerable." Twenty assorted rifles and shotguns targeted a single T-600. It's armor shrugged off most of it but pieces began to fall off. "Keep it up, we've almost got it!" he yelled.
A few more seconds of continuous fire and the T-600 fell to its knees glowing blue. "It's gonna blow! take cover!" Everyone ducked as the Terminator's small reactor went critical and exploded with the force of a few pounds of C4. "Aerostats on the left flank! AHHHH!" someone said. Soldier: "Take'em down!".
On the other side of Downtown.
Resistance Soldiers are trying to hold off Aerostats. Nothing that can be handle with. But some are recruits who their training was disturbed by incoming Machines. One Aerostats was destroyed in seconds, "What are you waiting for? Show our recruits how we take'em down!" said a Dark Green Robot. It was Bulkhead. Because of him the resistance is formed. The supposed to be Leaders of the resistance were killed by Skynet to not make a Resistance.
But Bulkhead stepped to the plate and became General of North Division. Every npc Soldiers and Players loved him that they were the ones that voted him as the Leader of the Resistance. The Only thing Bulkhead was wearing is a black military vest and black combat knee and elbow pads from the Shop. Bulkhead replaced that M16A2 with a G3 Battle Rifle with a 30 round mag.
Bulkhead then sees a T-500 running at him until it was cut in half. It split from body and legs as Kirito with the Elucidnator in his hand. Somehow those who use swords and later lightsabers can block bullets and later laser fire. Kirito walks to Bulkhead while deflect two bullets. Bulkhead: "Lieutenant. What's the situation on the the left?". "Not good. Conner and his men took down a T-600, But 2 more took it place. 5 more T-600s and 4 T-70s are in the reserves. Behind that is 5 HK Tanks and 7 Ariels. We're going to be overrun".
Bulkhead made a decision, "Kirito. Call our troops, We're falling back. We take back this sector later". Kirito understood as he makes the call.
Back in Downtown with John Conner.
A fierce five minute fight and the Aerostats were destroyed. Kirito(radio): "Command to all resistance fighters we're pulling back. I repeat fall back."
"Engage, retreat, engage retreat. This is no way to win a war." said one of the resistance fighters. "Until we can get our hands on those plasma guns, we'll have to make due with what we got. You heard the Lieutenant. Let's fall back to base, make sure we aren't followed. The General knows what he's doing" said Connor.
Griffith Observatory, Los Angeles. June 2, 2017
Five hours later after a game of cat and mice with the Machines, Bulkhead, Kirito, John Connor and a group of fighters returned to base at the Griffith Observatory near Los Angeles. T-Bone still wear green pads on his shoulders, green pants, black boots, high tech backpack was waiting by the base entrance. Except he also wears a light green military shirt. "How'd it go?" T-Bone asked about the battle. "We lost sector 9. We were overrun" said Kirito as he is tired from the battle. T-Bone was worried for the kid, "Sorry to hear that".
Bulkhead pat T-Bone on the shoulder, "We were stretched too thin across the sectors. Things happen at times" said Bulkhead as he walks inside with T-Bone following. Kirito had been making a log throughout the war that they were in.
Kirito: Since the game began. A Whole Year has gone by. That's a Month in the Real World and 2000 people had died. No One died in the real world so far. After all this time. None of the players had been able to clear floor 2. Bulkhead, Boulder, Heatwave and John Connor were beta testers in Terminator Resistance VR version. Even they haven't found where the Skynet Base is in border 2.
Last Year in 2016. John Connor and Blair William were part of a battle in Pasadena. A Town that is part of sector 10 and Los Angeles in Border 1. Skynet had a Radio Tower to intercept radio chatter and hunt down people with it. John and Blair found a way to destroy it with the aid of a man name Barnes and a woman name Angie who sacrifice herself to get them out.
Scavengers like Warren and his people learned of this and began to have faith in John Connor and led an attack on Skynet Regional Command with a reprogrammed HK MK1 Tank. After destroying the Base Border 1 soon belongs to the Resistance and then more soon regain a little faith in hope and some joined the cause. But It wasn't enough against Skynet's Armies and those new plasma weapons.
The resistance leader of this base, a former Marine Colonel nodded to him. Boulder the rescue bot engineer had been fixing the telescope for a week. "General, Connor, we managed to get some power to the telescope. You won't believe what we found coming to Earth. Take a look".
Connor put his eye up to the eyepiece and immediately saw what the Colonel was talking about. "It looks like a triangle. Could it be an asteroid?". Connor: "No...it's slowing down." Boulder: "What?". T-Bone asked, "What do mean it's slowing down?".
Bulkhead took a turn and look, "It's slowing down alright. It may be an alien spaceship".
Kirito: "My mom never told me about any aliens. Maybe they can help us?".
Colonel: "Maybe they'll destroy the Earth itself and put us all out of our misery". T-Bone: "A friend of mine is an alien and Chedra wouldn't do that".
"Sir? I'm getting a transmission. On the same frequency you use for your daily broadcast. They claim they're from something called the 'Galactic Republic'. They want to speak with John Connor" said a radioman.
Bulkhead was surprised, "The Republic? here? How? They were suppose to be in the Andromeda Galaxy. Bruce Wayne's Nephew: Adam is the Chancellor after Palpatine was killed". Kirito: "Put them through".
John took over the radioman to talk with them. "Hello? John Connor?". Connor: "This is John Connor. Who am I speaking to?". "Greetings, I am General Obi-Wan Kenobi of the Galactic Republic. We received your transmission and wondered what exactly are you resisting?".
Bulkhead was shocked. He and Sora served under him during the first year of the clone wars since Christophsis to the Battle of Ryloth in the first wave, "What the hell is he doing here?". Connor: "The Machines. They used our own weapons against us and are waging a war of extermination".
On the Negotiator.
"Strange, there are no other reports of CIS droids exterminating human populations. It's not in their programming to kill civilians" said Cody
Obi-Wan(Radio): "What kind of Machines are these? Who controls them?".
Connor: "We call them Terminators. About twelve years ago, a military defense computer program called Skynet was activated and quickly became self aware. It took over all our military computers and launched our own nuclear weapons against us. Several major cities were destroyed, governments also fell in short order. Three billion people were killed in the initial attack, about half the world's population. We call it Judgment Day. We've been fighting the Machines ever since. We're still using projectiles. Skynet has already developed plasma-based weapons. Our rifles are no match for the Terminators."
They both switched to another frequency to reduce the chance of Skynet eavesdropping on their continued, giving Kenobi a short history of Earth. Obi-Wan has been mentioned about Earth from Sora and Bulkhead been a little. Kenobi responded with a shorter history of the Republic and its current crisis. Connor recounted the first days after judgment day, the extermination camps the executions. The humans who went crazy and became savages. He also gave Kenobi a short geography of the earth, detailing hemispheres, former countries, states and cities. Obi-Wan doesn't know it's an online game he and his fleet are in.
As Kenobi listened, his jaw dropped involuntarily. "By the force. We'll see what we can do. Our forces are spread thin but I will ask if we can help here."
Back on the Negotiator.
"Sir, I have an idea. We may not be able to destroy the machines with what we have but we can equip the resistance with weapons and supplies. We could probably spare a platoon or two of clones. Maybe just a squad of Commandos to help organize and set strategic goals" said Cody. Kenobi nodded, "I agree".
Obi-Wan turned back to the radio, "Connor? I've talked with my officers. Although we can't really do much right now, we'll send down what supplies we can spare."
Connor: "Much appreciated General. We're about to make an assault on Skynet facilities in Los Angeles. We could use the help".
Obi-Wan: "I'll come down with a couple squads of troops. We'll help you out, leave you with some equipment and then be on our way. If I can arrange another supply drop, someone will come by to set it up".
Connor: "We move our headquarters around a-lot so it might be difficult to know where we're going to be".
Obi-Wan: "We'll figure something out. We'll be down shortly".
Connor: "I suggest you come with heavy escort. Skynet will detect you soon it might send a few nukes your way".
Obi-Wan: "Thank you for the advice. Kenobi out".
In the observatory, cheers rang out.
Help was coming. T-Bone joked, "He's coming down. I feel safer already". SMACK! T-Bone: "OW!". T-Bone quick turn behind him as Kim Possible crossing her arms with a glare. T-Bone rubbed his head and a funny grin, "I kinda deserve that one", "Yeah. Shoo" said Kim as she pushed T-Bone out of the room with a smile on his face. Bulkhead shook his head, "Things haven't change even in a game".
Connor looked to Bulkhead, "What should I know about General Kenobi?". Bulkhead: "I served under him with Sora during the first year of the clone wars. He's an Wise and Honest Man. He can help". Bulkhead and Connor leave to meet with Obi-Wan.
General Kenobi, Commander Cody and several gunships worth of clone troopers landed near the observatory. Skynet had tried to intercept them but the ARC-170 fighters escorting the gunships destroyed the HK-aerials that attacked them. Other fighters destroyed what few spy satellites remained in orbit and also intercepted a pair of nuclear-tipped ICBMs targeting the Republic cruiser.
When General Kenobi and Commander Cody land near the observatory. John Connor, Bulkhead, Kirito, T-Bone and Kim were waiting. Obi-Wan offered a hand, "John Connor. Good to meet you in the flesh". Connor shook Obi-Wan's hand, "Good to meet you too, General Kenobi".
Obi-Wan then look on the left and saw what he hasn't seen for a long time, "Bulkhead?". Obi-Wan and Cody pass by and shook hands again with Bulkhead who he's changed a bit, "I haven't seen you since Ryloth. How's Sora?". Bulkhead: "He doing fine. we have a lot of things to catch up". Cody took his helmet off and wrapped his arm on Bulkhead's head, "So this is where you ran off to? An Apocalyptic World?". Bulkhead dropped his happy look and unwrap himself from Cody, "We need to talk". Obi-Wan dropped his welcome look then.
General Kenobi talked with Connor about the Jedi and the Clone Wars. Bulkhead and Kirito talked to Obi-Wan and Cody about the online game their in. From Boulder, The Andromeda Galaxy is connected to the Real World Milky Way Galaxy into one Milky Way Galaxy and somehow got transported into the game. Yui taught them about the mechanics, rules and weapons in 2016 to now of 2017.
But when Obi-Wan and the Republic came here updated the game with the 'Star Wars Update'. Kirito can now use his Photon Sword anytime he wants. Then they discussed the battle plans for Los Angeles. The clones broke into smaller groups and taught the resistance fighters about the DC-15a and DC-15s blaster rifles and the DC-17 sidearms. Every resistance fighter at least got a fact that it recharges itself is a plus no extra ammo to carry.
Unfortunately there are not enough blasters to go around yet. So some still use bullet guns. The Update placed the clone blasters and grenades into the weapons category. They can be bought back at the Observatory's Armory to buy for about: 2,200 credits for the DC-15a, 1,500 credits for the DC-15s. and the grenades and DC-17 sidearm cost 800 or less credits They were also familiarized with the thermal detonator a type of grenades. The clones also carried ECD grenades to test the effectiveness against the Terminators. A Clone Commando squad: Delta Squad was assigned to Connor to not only protect, but advise him as well.
Pasadena, Los Angeles.
The assault on Skynet came fast and hard. ARC-170 starfighters greatly outclassed the HK-aerials even with the plasma guns which were a similar technology to blasters but not quite as powerful. Several HKs were destroyed in the opening minutes of the battle with a barrage of concussion missiles. While the ARCs held air superiority, some old Air Force fighters joined the battle as well getting a handful of aerial kills. Helicopters joined by a dozen Republic gunships landed in the center of LA near what the resistence called 'Skynet Central'. The resistence advanced into the city.
The blasters they were given quickly proved to be more effective than the old rifles they used. Several T-600 were taken down in just a few short bursts. Kenobi was there, deflecting plasma bolts and slicing Terminators in half. A T-7T rushed at him and Kenobi used the force to flip over it and stab it in the back, destroying its reactor. Bulkhead walks next to Obi-Wan shooting Terminators with a DC-5s like a handgun because to him the blasters lighter to shoot and carry.
Kirito with the Purple Photo Sword or Lightsaber cuts down T-600 and T-500. Kirito kept the Elucidnator in case he needs to dual-wield. Yes sword wielders can do duel-wielding in this game.
ECD grenades proved effective as well as they shut down machines for several minutes while they rebooted, giving the resistence enough time to slap some packs of C4 on them and set them to go off when the machines rebooted.
Then everything changed when Skynet launched a counterattack
The Battle had turned as Skynet pushed forward. A T-600 came out of the fiery shadows, and mowed down a couple of resistance fighters, and knock it down with a ECD grenade. Then the second T-600 keeps firing with It's Rotating Mini-gun Arm, and the Next Scene is with T-7-Ts, or called Spider Walkers shooting down the Soldiers.
Then the soldiers hiding on the wall loaded a clone rocket launcher, and fires on it, and destroyed it, Then the spiders fire on the soldiers behind the wall. Then a light shines on them from a HK Ariel Mark 1(Terminator Salvation HK Ariel) fires, and kills them.
Later Connor running to cover, and stops to hear a HK Areostat, or Wasp. He shots it down, and continues on through a Bus, and waits for a HK Ariel to pass by to run, and stop. Another came to his position, Connor fakes his death without being detected. After that He looks at the battleground, and with some clone rifles on our Favor. People keep dying eventually by Endos, and Spiders, and Harvesters and HKs.
Then over the comm. Admiral: "General Kenobi, A fleet of Separatists ships have dropped out of hyperspace. We have to withdraw. We're sending gunships to pick you up."
Obi-Wan talks to the comlink while blocking, "No! We're staying through the battle. Get the fleet out of here, led them away. Then come back for us". Admiral:"But sir"- Obi-Wan: "Get out of here Admiral. That's an order. Pick up whoever you can. Jump to hyperspace as soon as the gunships are onboard". Admiral: "...understood. We'll be back sir." "I know" said Obi-Wan knowing a new treat.
Kenobi turned to Connor, "I guess we're on our own." Connor talks on the radio, "Looks like it. Command, This is Connor, requesting orders".
Linda: "Connor, Skynet is massing for a counterstrike. We can't hold them off. Get to the evac point with the General. We have choppers on the way. Kenobi, a few of your gunships are sticking around. We'll use them to cover us". "Understood. Connor out. We better get moving. The evac is this way" said Connor pointed to a building across the street. He nodded to the Commandos.
"Covering fire!" yelled the Bulkhead as he retreat while firing. The four commandos broke from cover and sprayed automatic blaster-fire at the approaching machines. They didn't duck for cover but it did distract them long enough for the group to make it across the street. Kirito and Kenobi deflected plasma bolts as they crossed then the commandos came. The last one, Heatwave let off a long burst that took down a T-600. The energy rounds punched through the heavy metal and destroying its reactor core.
Bulkhead hadn't seen Heatwave for days, "Where have you been?". Heatwave with a DC-15a Rifle holds it on his shoulder, "Shopping". Kirito saw a rocket barrage coming they're way. "Get Down!" Kirito yelled as everyone took cover. "You alright, Connor!?" said Heatwave. Connor got up, and sees a HK coming, "HK!" said Connor as Heatwave turns to the HK Ariel, and looks to Boulder in a ruined building, "Come On Guys, NOW!" said Bulkhead as Kirito called out: "RUN!" said Heatwave as he, and Connor ran into the building.
"That was close" said Cody started to pick up a Signal, "(All Units Return to Base, Repeat, Return to...Static...)" said a man on a Radio. "(Sigh), Guess their calling it, Good thing too. We're getting beaten out here" said Bulkhead, "Let's move" He said.
Connor, Kirito, Obi-Wan, Cody and and Heatwave agreed. So They head to a street-way, and finds trouble: "Wasps,... Incoming!" said T-Bone as he's hiding behind cover and shoots at them with his DC-15s. Heatwave fires with his Dc-15a, and Connor shooting with his DC-15s custom with a flashlight. Once the Wasps are down, they continue on. Then a wall exploded, and reveals a two T-600s attacking them. Connor and Bulkhead trashed the T-600 Then they kept moving on.
The group met up with three more resistance fighters in an abandoned building. "General Kenobi, this is Sgt. O'Grady" said Connor. "Sgt. I'm sorry we couldn't help more than we did. Our ship would have been destroyed and the Republic wouldn't know of your predicament".
"Understandable, but these new weapons you gave us even the odds a bit. We should be able to make some headway against the Machines" Kenobi nodded "We better keep moving". "Right, let's move out people. Keep your heads down and stick to cover" said O'Grady.
They came out the other side of the building and were heading into the street when a resistance fighter called out. "Connor! look out, Aerostats."
A group of three of the flying machines came in firing mini-plasma guns. The clone commandos took them down instantly. Another trio came immediately after that and the resistance took those down as well. The group continued on until they reached a downed Aerial-HK. They took a side route through a destroyed building and ended up on the second floor. Five more aerostats attacked but were quickly destroyed. The group went down the stairs and began to cross another street.
"Stay low and keep quiet." said O'Grady. They were forced to turn right into a building. When they were in what used to be the lobby the ceiling collapsed behind them. Then a T-600 burst through the wall. Bulkhead acted, "Go!". "Go! Go! GO!" yelled Connor pointing to a hallway directly ahead.
The Commandos fired their blasters but the T-600 held up a shield of sorts, a piece of concrete, while firing its gatling gun. Two resistance fighters were killed but the rest of the group moved on.
They went out a door and Scorch set a thermal detonator on the ground then rigged a trip wire across that would trigger the grenade when the Terminator came through the door. Ahead were O'Grady and Rogers. There was the HK that had crashed into the ground nearby.
"Where's Griffin and Lewis?" asked Rogers "I'm afraid they didn't make it." said Obi-Wan "Damn Machines, come on let's get out of here before that thing reboots" said O'Grady. "(Sigh),... Machines" said Bulkhead still worried for the other machine players.
Blair pointed up some stairs, "This way, everyone's upstairs". The group went up the stairs and met up with a resistance scout. "Well I'll be! I thought for sure ya'll were dead" said Peters still holding an older American M1 Garand rifle.
"Where are the choppers Peters?" asked Bulkhead while handing him a blaster pistol.
"No choppers, General. Too hot here. Gonna take trucks from a nearby depot and head out through the highway. Evac from there". Peters turned to Kenobi, "Those gunships of yours are a real help. They've been helping evac our people".
"I'm glad to hear it. We better move on before more machines show up" replied Kenobi. "So where are the trucks?" asked O'Grady. Before Peters could answer there was a flash of grey metal outside, along with the sound of jet engines. Kirito: "Damn It!". "Sounds like that HK rebooted" said O'Grady. "What's the plan coach?" asked Heatwave. Boulder: "We can't have that HK following us. We have to take it down". t-Bone pound his fist and palm together, "Now your talking".
"Wells! Rodgers! take up positions near the windows with Peter's and Kenobi's men, draw its fire and take out any aerostats supporting it. Williams, Connor, T-Bone. I want you to focus on shooting it down". He turned to Peters "you got any spare RPGs laying around?". Peters: "Yeah, right over there".
Connor grabbed up the RPG and reloads while the rest of the took up defensive positions. One of the commandos yelled out "Aerostats incoming!" and opened fire taking down three of them. The HK appeared in a window and John aimed and fired an RPG. It impacted the front of the HK but didn't kill it.
The Hunter-Killer swung around to another building as more Aerostats invaded. The small group put out a withering amount of blaster and projectile fire. Kenobi deflected some plasma bolts then sliced through an aerostat that got too close. Connor fired another RPG and again hit the HK. "Hit it again John!" yelled Blair.
Yet another wave of Aerostats came in from the left and the HK reappeared directly ahead. But was cut by Kirito. As the others took down the small flyers Connor and T-Bone aimed and fired two RPGs. Third time's the charm he thought. The HK backed up but was no longer able to maintain altitude. It came at the building intent on ramming the level the resistance fighters were on but dropped like a rock when its engines went out.
The group moved outside and up a small ramp leading to a parking lot filled with burned out cars. Everyone but O'Grady got passed before two T-600s came in from behind. The group had taken cover behind a low wall while O'Grady was stuck behind a cabinet. One of the Commandos: Sev motioned him to stay there and switched to the sniper rifle attachment. Carefully he aimed and fired a powerful blaster bolt at the 600's head.
The head was vaporized completely and the machine stumbled but didn't fall. "It's got a backup CPU and sensors." Connor whispered. Sev aimed again for the reactor and fired. The bolt went straight through and killed the machine. It fell to the ground with a solid 'thunk'. The other T-600 aimed by saw Kirito flying towards it with both Lightsaber and Elucidnator cut both it's arms down and slashed sideways in sync and fell in pieces.
O'Grady stood as Kirito puts away the sword and the lightsaber on his back. "Thanks guys, that was too close." he said. O'Grady was headed up the ladder when a flight of Aerostats came from behind and killed him with a pair of plasma bolts. In slow-motion Kirito turn to O'Grady as he fells to the ground.
The Wasps fired on Kirito as he quickly puts out his weapons just in time to block all of them while heading to the group. The rest immediately returned fire and destroyed them. John then saw another T-600 coming. "We'd better go. The trucks are this way" said Connor. Kirito follows as he looks back to O'Grady lying on the floor. he felt like he'd lost a friend and a player in real life. Bulkhead went back to comfort him all the way. Bulkhead took Kirito and ran off while a T-600 shoots at them.
Bulkhead, Kirito, Heatwave, Boulder, Four resistance fighters, four commandos and one Jedi squeezed into two trucks and a van. The vehicles jumped off the roof and headed for the highway. Bulkhead: "Gunners! Watch your sectors, take down those aerostats". Blair manned one fifty-caliber machine gun on a truck while Connor controlled the other. One of the Commandos popped his head out the top hatch of the van and took aim with his DC17 sniper rifle attachment, "Here they come!"
The flying machines came at them in waves and fired small plasma cannons but not one could take the firepower of two fifty-cal machine guns and a sniper rifle. Eventually they reached the highway. Then a full-size HK began tracking them. Heatwave: "Yo. Look who's back?". It fired its larger plasma guns but missed. "Take down that HK! Target its damaged engine" said Connor.
The two fifties and the sniper all fired on the damaged engine. It took some time and a few hundred rounds of ammo but they destroyed the bad engine. Then they proceeded to knock out its systems one by one. First the sensor pods, then the plasma cannons themselves. Then the HK hovered on the other side of a collapsed overpass. The Van's side door opened as they jumped the makeshift ramp.
Obi-Wan ignited his lightsaber and slashed at the HK as they passed. The blade severed critical hydraulic lines, and then Kirito jumped out of the truck with both swords at a reverse grip, "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kirito yelled as he stabbed the HK. The HK's engines sputtered and died. Kirito pulls the swords and jump high enough and lands on the van's roof. Then it dropped like a rock and exploded. "YEEEHHAAAAA!" yelled Peters "That's what I'm talking about!". Heatwave looked at Kirito as he climbs inside the van through the back. Heatwave looked to Boulder, "Remind me to never make him mad".
The three vehicles made it to a tunnel as another HK fired missiles at them. But instead of destroying the vehicles. The missiles collapsed the entrance to the tunnels. The three vehicles stopped for a moment to catch their breath. But were then on the run once again as Aerostats came at them through the vents.
Blair and John again manned the fifties, While a commando provided sniper support. The van had stopped in its tracks. The driver was yelling and cursing at it, then he pushed the gas pedal and the van roared to life. The driver put the vehicle in 'drive' and was just about to drive off when a T-600 jumped onto the hood. Luckily the commando sticking his head out the topside hatch had just reloaded his weapon and took aim. The bolt caused the machine to stumble back and off the van. The driver slammed his foot on the gas pedal and ran the machine over.
As the three vehicles roared down the tunnel they were pursued by several waves of aerostats until they came out of the tunnel onto the interstate...or what was left of it. Bulkhead: "We need", T-Bone: "A New Plan".
Underground Tunnel Network. Morning Time. June 3, 2017.
Bulkhead led his team through the tunnel networks out of the Battle Zone. Obi-Wan however doesn't like it, "What an Incredible Smell you've discovered". Rogers: "Pick up the paste, People. I'm not looking to get left behind". Bulkhead talks to Rogers while walking, "But room for more", Bulkhead looked to his friends and soldiers they were banged up from the battle.
Bulkhead and Rogers got out of the tunnels on the right tube, "Stay close and stick to cover". "When does that ever happened" said Heatwave sarcastically. Everyone glared to him. T-Bone glared hard, "Not now, Heatwave", T-Bone continues on while rubbing his neck.
They got outside and it's morning time. Another day in the Virtual World of TO(Terminator Online). Bulkhead and the others walks through buildings and then went through a cafe. But they were stopped by 5 Aerostats. Cody: "Heads up, Aerostats!".
The Group took cover and with M16, and DC-15 rifles. All the Wasps went down. Rogers calls out, "Marks. Scout ahead. Make sure the area's clear". Marks: "Roger that, Rogers", Rogers hated when Marks does that, "Quit Screwing around".
Then the middle of the streets, A Wall blasted out and a T-7-T or T-70 shot down Marks. Marks: "AAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAHH!", Kim: "Marks!". Rogers: "Take cover". They took cover as Kirito just ran in and stabs the T-70 in the eye and leaps over and cuts the battery pack from the back and shutdown. Everyone got up as Boulder turns Rogers to yell at him.
Boulder: "The hell was that?!", Rogers: "I'm sorry. I didn't know they can do that". Bulkhead: "Knock It off you two". Rogers and Boulder looked to Bulkhead, "We got company" said Bulkhead and he points at more T-7-T walking in with Wasp passing through.
Bulkhead, Boulder, Heatwave, Rogers, Connor and Blair took cover on the left as T-Bone, Kirito, Obi-Wan, Cody and Kim took cover on the right. Boss, Scorch, It took they've eventually took them down, T-Bone: "Yeah! That's how you do it!". Heatwave: "Alright. The Coast is clear". The Group move except for Kim as she knees next to Marks body, Bulkhead went back for her and knelt to her, "We may not saved one man. But can save more if we try. Come On" said Bulkhead as he offers a hand and Kim takes it. Obi-Wan notice Bulkhead behavior as admirable.
The Resistance group cross a big street and through a abandon gas station. Sev notice a Wasps going to descend to the station and snipes it down. Scorch: "Lucky shot, Sev". Sev shrugs. But they didn't notice a second Wasp as Boss shot it down with his DC-17 blaster rifle, "Stop screwing around, Boys. We have a job to do" said Boss as he walks on ahead.
They had to went around as a rubble was blocking away as then trouble came, "Shhh! You here that?" asked Boulder. A Spider Walker came from the ground, Blair: "Spider!". Kirito: "It's a Trap!". Then another Spider Walker walks in with 2 Aerostats next to it.
Before Blasters. The T-7-Ts front is armored plated and modern guns only does is shutting down and rebooting them. With Blasters, It can hold two or three bolts. But can be destroyed. Connor threw a thermal detonator and destroyed a Spider Walker, Bulkhead and Obi-Wan took care of the other one.
Kim: "How far is this Evac Point?". "Just around the corner" Boulder stated as he, Kim, Bulkhead, Heatwave, Rogers, Connor and Blair, T-Bone, Kirito, Obi-Wan, Cody and Delta Squad: Boss, Fixer, Scorch and Sev walks around and towards the Evac Point.
Outside of the Battle Zone.
Bulkhead, Connor and the other group found the new evac-point. Blair: "Finally". Rogers: "Something's wrong. Where's Everyone?". Bulkhead: "No one's here", "Maybe we were too late and miss our evac" said said Blair, "Maybe they're all dead" said Heatwave, "Or maybe their just being smart" said John. "You might be Right, I see some People in There" said Kirito.
Inside Po and Ty and with them is Klein. They were wait for the coppers to arrived, and sees the rest. Po has some changes too. He wears a light blue shirt with metal armor, dark blue shorts and brown hiking boots. Surprisingly his uniform is just his size.
Po opened the doors to let them in, "Just in Time, ETA is coming in 10 Minutes" said Po. Boulder walked up to Po a bit, "We got our butts handed to the machines. Even with these new blasters" said Boulder as he holds up a his DC-15s and then goes to the wall and sits down to rest.
Kirito clapped hangs again with Klein, "Hows it hanging?". "Not bad. My guilds back at base with Asuna and the others. You?". "Made some friends yesterday" Kirito said as he looked to Obi-Wan as he sit on a chair. Klein: "That's right. The Republic. When he and the clones were assigned to many Divisions. Even the Blood Oath Division". Cody asked, "Blood Oath Division?". Klein: "Yeah. Asuna has been rebuilding the Knights of the Blood Oath with her in charge. Everyone's there: Liz, Leafa, Sinon, Silica and Agil. Asuna sent me here to get you guys out".
Bulkhead lays on the floor so he can relax his feet from that walking, "Now I get to rest my feet,... (Sigh)" said Bulkhead. "Your tired already,... and I thought I had problems" said Kirito as Boulder walked, "He has spread himself thin himself. It's a price when leading the Resistance". Po, Ty and Klein weren't the only ones. A few Resistance Fighters also were hiding in here. One who is also a commanding officer, "Saddle Up Kids, We're going home". Blair: "And then what? Then what do we do?", "We'll see what Command wants us to do".
Bulkhead crossed arms, "I'm right here you know, Murphy". Murphy: "I know. But Command is in charge when your here". Bulkhead lowered his metal brows. "(Scoffs), Can't wait to see what brilliant plan they cook up next. As if they get enough of us killed today".
Connor: "Come On, Blair", Blair talks back to John, "Don't tell me 'Come On'!. Maybe if you two took some responsibility for once in your life, We wouldn't be taking orders from Captain Crunch over here". Murphy: "What was that Soldier?!". Bulkhead cuts in while laying on the floor, "No. She's right. I let Command took over and these people die at Pasadena. I should be more careful on who to put in charge for now on". Kirito: "Hey. We'll talk more when we-".
Then Trouble comes, "Aerostats! Outside!" said a Ty as Everyone heard. Even Bulkhead has he got up quick, "Defend the evac-point, Hold them of as long as You can". Kim: We've got Wasps above us". Murphy: "Rogers! Take Connor and Williams with you. Maybe a couple more men. Keep those things away from the building!".
Bulkhead starts giving orders of his own, "T-Bone, Ty and Kim defend the Top. The rest will cover the LZ". John, T-Bone, Ty, Kim and Blair heads to the Roof. Aerostats, and Spider Walkers attacked the Mini-Base as Team 1, and Team 2 hold them off.
Obi-Wan, Cody, Kirito and Klein ran outside to help. The Commandos: Boss, Fixer and Scorch took positions outside with Sev in sniper position. The Aerostats enters the combat zone and opens fire. Rogers: "Don't let em reach the store!".
The Swordsmen deflect and trash Aerostats out of the skies. More Aerostats flew on the other side to flank the fighters, Girl Fighter: "Oh Yeah!". Man Fighter: "On the left". Then the fight soon slowed down, Rogers: "What part of Three minutes to Evac don't you understand?! We need to get this site cleared ASAP! Get those Aerostats out of-,... AAAAAAAH!".
Rogers was shot in the back from a Aerostat as Fixer shot it out of the sky. Blair called out, "Who told you to stop shooting?". It was kind of funny for Blair says it when Rogers just got killed.
Cody and Klein got the last Wasps as the fighters got out of cover. "Let's go! Everyone back inside!" Kim ordered everyone inside. Murphy: Alright, Listen up People! We've got to clear a landing site for the gunships and choppers. Grab your gear and get ready to move out". Bulkhead: "Boulder, Ty. Keep watch over the wounded. Connor, Williams, Cody, Sev. Up on the roof. Everyone else, Outside and form a perimeter".
Connor, Blair Sev and Cody goes up and gets in position on the roof as more Wasps flies over the street. Soon T-70 Spiders crawls in to give heavy support. Nothing Obi-Wan, Kirito and Klein can't handle.
There are times the Aerostats are a bit trick to shoot down cause by their zig-zag maneuvers. John fires a RPG behind the Spider and the blast and fragments destroyed it's pack, thus the Spider destroyed. Boulder mounted a 50. Caliber Machine Gun on Ty's right shoulder so Ty can shoot too. It does destroy T-7-Ts very well. Cody then heard a boom from the walls behind them to find Spiders and Wasps behind them.
Cody: "Spiders and Wasps behind us!". John, Blair and Boulder turns behind to hold the attackers as Ty continues to rain fire. Boulder then notice the side wall crashing down, "Watch It! Their moving from the right!". John, Blair and Cody took care of it as Boulder aids Ty on the front to the last machines.
Blair: "That's all of them. Let's find a way out of here". During the fight. They've lost another fighter from the roof.
Bulkhead, Heatwave, Boulder, Connor, Blair, Murphy, T-Bone, Kirito, Kim, Obi-Wan, Cody, Boss, Fixer, Scorch and Sev and 7 other Resistance Fighters hops on the gunships and flew out of the city. Good thing too, A Few Seconds more and a nearby Harvester would have shot them down out of the skies.

It was good to finally be back home from all that walking and fighting. T-Bone went sleep on his bed in his uniform, Boots to his Pants and to his Shirt. But since we're in a post apocalyptic world. There's no rules about that.
Bulkhead listened as the radio provided by the Jedi Obi-Wan enhance their communications into deep space without Skynet tracking them. However it's bad news fro the Negotiator.
Admiral(Radio): "Unfortunately, We cannot break threw the lines at the moment or anytime soon. We're spread out as it is". Obi-Wan: "So we are stuck here on Earth?". Admiral(Radio): I am sorry. General. We'll inform the council of this problem. I do respect your decision for you and the Commander and your division to stay to help the Resistance. Good Luck and May the Force be with You".
The transmission had ended with grieving news. Obi-Wan tries to remain calm. Cody: "Now what? We have nowhere to go? We don't belong here". Obi-Wan hated to admit defeat, But Cody is right. Bulkhead cuts in, "Yes you do. With us". Obi-Wan and Cody was stunned, Obi-Wan: "What?!".
Cody: "Bulkhead. With all due respect. We don't to crowd you in here". Bulkhead looks to Cody, "I know. Besides Skynet has already found us here. We're packing up tomorrow morning to the lower side of Border 1 of California in Bakersfield. There's a Resistance Air Base there. They won't be here until late afternoon. For now", Bulkhead looks to a sleepy T-Bone, and Po, Bulkhead: "We can rest for the night. They deserved it". Cody questioned him, "And to those who died on the battlefield?".
"Non-Players like O'Grady, Marks or Peters getting killed in the line of duty are the reasons I stayed awake and alert" said Bulkhead as he goes on watch duty for the night. Obi-Wan and Cody notice that the Bulkhead they knew has changed from a boy to a man.

In the Afternoon. HK Ariels flies over the base and drops down Spiders, Wasps and Endos on top of them. They've looked around to find no one here. The Machines searched the area and even trash the place and still find no one.
Bakersfield Air Force Base, Bakersfield. June 4 2017. 5:45 pm.
The place is bigger then the Griffith Observatory back in Los Angeles. The Air Base is big enough for ARC-170 starfighters to land and park along with F-4 Phantoms and A-10 Thunderbolts or Warthogs.
The whole place was being set up. Bulkhead, John, Obi-Wan and Cody walks through the base, Bulkhead: "It may not be fancy as the bases you know. But it does suppose to be like this when your in a Dead Virtual World".
Obi-Wan: "As long that we have a place to stay. I'm fine with it". Connor: "It's our pleasure to help", Bulkhead: "I'm just returning a favor". Obi-Wan turns to Bulkhead, "What do you mean by that?". Bulkhead explained in detailed, "Christopsis to Ryloth, Remember? You, Anakin, Cody and Rex helped Me and Sora way back in your galaxy". Obi-Wan and Cody soon remembers the time Sora and Bulkhead were stuck in their part of the galaxy and helper them get back home.
Obi-Wan: "Yes. I remember", Cody: "We had a good run when you and the kid were with us". Bulkhead: "You've helped us a lot. So I'm repaying the favor with this. It's not much, but we can manage it".
Boulder taps Bulkhead as Bulkhead turns around, "Could we talk" said Boulder as he went outside the base. Bulkhead followed him outside to the airfield, Boulder: "I'm trying ways on how Skynet countered all of our attacks. I thought with this Separatist fleet blocking the way caused the change. But that theory was crossed out when those starships went somewhere else".
Bulkhead talked to his brother, "That means the Negotiator can come back anytime", Boulder: "Except those ships are holding this section of space", "Oh" Bulkhead was let down. "There was the other theory,...", "The Annihilation Line" said Heatwave that walks next to them. Bulkhead has seen the Annihilation Line before when playing Terminator Resistance in VR.
"You sure?" Bulkhead asked. Boulder nodded, "The Tactics, The Reinforcements of more Terminators and increase ranks of HKs. This is the work of the Annihilation Line". "What's the Annihilation Line?" said Cody who's walking towards them with Obi-Wan and Connor in tow.
Connor tells them, "The Annihilation Line is comprised of a whole army of Terminators and HKs. It separates from the Living and the Dead. A few had been behind it and lived to tell the tale. Some don't make it through though. Anytime the Annihilation Line comes close, We pack up and run".
"But due to our last victory from you and other fighters from 2016. Bakersfield was made a safe zone for all NPCs and Players alike provided the rules of the admin from the real world. If they tried to cross our border, They will be instantly destroyed by self-destruct modes" Boulder stated.
Bulkhead looks to Obi-Wan and Cody, "As Long as the rules stands. Border 1 is the Only safe zone for all of us". "Unless we go right behind the lines" said Heatwave. Obi-Wan, Cody, Connor, Bulkhead and Boulder turns quick to Heatwave.
Connor: "You want to what?". Heatwave explains an idea, "I was thinking if the Annihilation Line is focusing to bottle us in Border 1. A Strike Team can go behind the lines and destroy the Skynet Base in Border 2.
Obi-Wan: "That sounds like Suicide". Bulkhead was thinking a little up with a grin. Cody sees this as trouble cause Bulkhead had done this before, "Oh No". Bulkhead: "Oh Yes. We're going to put a winning streak for the Annihilation Line once and for all". Connor calls out, "If the Base on Border 2 is the source of our problems, It's got to go. And I know just the man for the job".
"Well, Well, Well. Look's like Bulkhead and John Connor's come up with a plan" said Blair who walking down with a DC-15s in hand and along is T-Bone with a DC-15a, Kirito, Kim with a DC-17 pistol, Po with a DC-15a, Ty with a 50. Caliber Shoulder Gun, Boss, Fixer, Scorch and Sev together.
Connor: "How long have you've been listening?". Kim: "Long enough here you plans to destroy Skynet's Command Base". T-Bone: "If it means I get to blow it up. I'm in". Kirito: "If there's a chance we can push back the Invincible Annihilation Line. People will began to fight back again". "And I have the Explosives to do it" said Scorch who tossing a Thermal Detonator. Kim asks John, "So Who's the guy that can get us there?".
The Los Angeles Subway System. June 5, 2017.
Last Time. John, Blair had been down here with Angie with guns on their backs. They've met Warren and this place also how John found Barnes. With T-600s recently using rubber skin to become infiltrators. Now John and Blair comes back again and were welcome now.
Warren was waiting for them. "John Connor. It's been a while since you and Blair came in here. Except for them at least" Warren pointed at the new guys. "This is Warren. We've first met under different circumstances. Warren this is Obi-Wan Kenobi, Commander Cody, Boss, Scorch, Fixer, Sev, Kim Possible, T-Bone, Po, Ty, Kirito, Heatwave, Boulder and our General Bulkhead".
Warren inspect Bulkhead, "So your the Leader of the Resistance? I was expecting to be more Human". Bulkhead: "The Original Leaders were killed by Skynet in order to avoid an uprising". "God Dammit" Warren walk in circles slowly. "I take it this isn't a social call?". Heatwave: "Ever heard of the Annihilation Line?". Warren and the Scavengers looked scared when they heard that name.
Warren: "Yeah. You just passed it and here we are. So much for a so called Invincible Annihilation Line". Connor: "Do you still have the HK Tank from last year?". Warren nodded, "Yeah I still have it. It has been our first line of defense against Skynet ever since. Follow Me".
Warren took the group to the backyard to a bigger room where it holds an Hunter Killer MK1 Tank(Terminator Salvation). Bulkhead, Boulder, Heatwave, Po, T-Bone, Kim Cody, Obi-Wan were amazed on how they have a HK Tank under their control. Bulkhead: "How'd you manage to get this Tank anyway?".
Connor: "It was a dead when we found it. A little fixing and reprogramming and then we used it to break passed the defense grid at Skynet's Former Regional Command in Border 1". Bulkhead like this idea, "Use the Tank to smash their defenses and destroy the Base and free Border 2. Let's get to work".
John was under the Tank fixing the damages it has from last time. "This is John Connor calling Resistance Command Bakersfield. Do you copy? Repeat, this is John Connor calling-", Linda(Radio): "John Connor? You're Alive? Thought you went down behind the Annihilation Line". John: "Listen Linda. We're going to destroy Skynet's Main base in Eagle Rock and shut down the machines here in Border 2. Can you back us up with air power? Buy us enough time to get in, Destroy and Rescue our men and other prisoners?".
Linda(Radio): "Wish I could. Last time we tried that, their turrets shredded our birds. And then there's that Harvester". "Right". John was finished with the repairs. Bulkhead gave him a hand up, John: "Well. What if I told you that won't be a problem". Bulkhead talked to Linda, "Linda. It's Bulkhead. John is gonna prep an HK Tank into the Defense Grid and deal with those turrets".
Linda(Radio): "How on Earth did you get control of an HK Tank?". Bulkhead looked to Connor, "You might wanna ask John Connor here". Connor nodded. "Alright. She's good to go. She'll steer herself straight into Skynet's Main Base, stopping at all our primary targets. Only problem is, I've still got no way to control her guns remotely".
"You do now" said Warren as he gave John his laptop again like before. Bulkhead rose a brow, "What are you doing?". "Connor gave me this Tank for a reason. Thought it might be good to have her Boss to drive".
John and Warren shook hands, "Thank You for doing this. I can't ask you to do this", Warren: "My Tank. My Rules. Let's go". Bulkhead smiled, "Glad to have you aboard,... Captain". Warren was stunned, "Do you just called me that?". Bulkhead nodded, "Your Tank, Your Rules". Warren shook his head. Obi-Wan was examine the trust these two had.
Outside the Battle Zone. Pasadena, Los Angeles. June 5, 2017. 3:00 pm.
With Warren driving the Tank. Along side is his scavenger men in jeeps. John, Blair, Bulkhead, Boulder, Obi-Wan, Cody, Kim, T-Bone, Po, Kirito, Heatwave, Boss, Scorch, Fixer and Sev drove the HK Tank through Skynet's Main Base.
Connor: "First. We need to locate and destroy Skynet's Anti-Aircraft turrets". Cody: "How are you planning to do that?". Warren: "These plasma cannons will rip through just about anything Skynet can throw at us. There's also the sweet gatling guns. Imagine how dumb Skynet is to just give up a piece of equipment into the hands of some Scavengers and a someone like you, Connor".
The HK Tank rolls through Pasadena easily. Then 2 Spiders crawl by the streets and tries to stop the Tank. Warren fires the guns and shreds them to bits, "How do like us now, Tin Cans!". The Tank moves on forward and smash threw a house.
There they come across of the Skynet AA Guns. Blair: "There's one of the anti-aircraft turrets!". Warren locks on and fires the plasma and cannons and destroys one of the turrets, "Got It!". T-Bone: "Way to go, Warren!". 3 more Spider walks in front of the HK Tank and fires on it. Obi-Wan and Kirito jumps high and cuts them down from behind. Warren locks on another turret.
Po notice a T-600 shooting at the body and jumps to make his special move, Po: "FEET OF FURY!". Po launch a Muti-Kick combo on a T-600 and was completely destroyed. Obi-Wan was amazed, "Where did you learn to that?". Po looked to Obi-Wan, "From Master Shifu". Warren has a lock and fires the cannons and pummels the 2nd turret, "First Site is cleared".
The HK Tank moves on pass main street while shooting down Terminators along the way. Kim points out, "There's another turret for you to trash, Warren", "Thank You, Miss" said Warren as he locks on the 3rd turret with both the cannons and guns.
Bulkhead on the jeep points out, "Let's move on!". The driver with Bulkhead punches it and drives in the front for extra shielding. The HK Tank was shredding T-600s and Spider and Wasp from left and right while moving on the Base.
Warren took care of the upcoming turret one. Cody: "Good Work, Warren. Your messing them up them Clankers!". Boulder called out, "Heads up! T-600s on the bridge!". Two T-600 fires the mini-guns while walking to the tank. Sev and Boss took care of them.
The Attackers move as then a radio call comes from Asuna from the Frontlines. Asuna(Radio): "What the hell is going on? Are you driving a HK Tank, Kirito". Kirito answered, "No. A Guy name Warren. He's in control of the tank and we're providing fire support. Where are you anyway?".
Pasadena Bridge, Los Angeles.
The Battle takes place on the bridge right where the HK Tank's path is at. Asuna and her Blood Oath Division with Klein are pinned down behind rocks, concrete and random cars and trucks. In front are 9 T-600, 12 Spider Walkers and 21 Aerostats.
Asuna is on the left side of the battle line, "We're pinned down at the bridge. We might need back up". Kirito: "Funny. We can see you from behind". Asuna jumped a bit, "What?!". Klein took cover and spoke out, "What did Kirito just say?".
Then Asuna and Klein look out behind and saw a Hunter Killer Tank rolling towards them with John, Blair, Warren, Boulder, Cody, Kim, T-Bone and Heatwave riding on it. Followed are Po, Obi-Wan, Kirito and Delta Squad on ground with Bulkhead standing on a scavenger jeep along with two more scavengers racing to the rescue.
Asuna and Klein couldn't believe their eyes. The Resistance Fighters like Murphy and the Clones in White and Red Stripes saw the HK Tank passing through the opening and destroying the 4th AA turret.
Then Warren focus the guns on the machines and blast and shredding them to scrap. Then and HK Ariel flies in front of the bridge, trying to destroy the HK Tank. Kirito runs up and calls out, "Asuna! You and Me!". Asuna nods and runs out of cover runs next to Kirito as they use their super jump high enough to land on the Ariel.
Kirito is on one engine while Asuna is on the other engine and together clipped it's wings as it falls down with the jump high to land on the top of the HK Tank. "Where do I get someone like you before?" said Warren as he tries to charm her, Asuna: "Oh, Save It!".
Warren laughs hard cause he's having too much fun while destroying AA Guns. Connor: "Good Work, Warren". Scorch: "Now that looks like it did some damage". The HK Tank rolls down the lines as player and clones cheer out for them. Warren appreciates the crowd, "Maybe joining the Resistance would be a good idea after all. With him in charge" said Warren as he looks to Bulkhead as he hops out of the jeep with a DC-15s in hand, "Follow Me!".
Bulkhead ran towards the machines as this gives the fighters, players and clones the edge they need to push on with all they got. Warren took out the last AA Gun in Site 3 and pushes on, "Now that is what the Resistance needs,... Heroes". Connor nodded, "I know what you mean. Bulkhead and I are finally taking responsibility for once".
Solar System.
General Skywalker's fleet came out of hyperspace in the Sol system on the edge of Republic space. Unlike Obi-Wan's fleet with 3 Venator ships. Anakin brought 6 Venator Class Star Destroyers. The 3 Venators was the Negotiator and 2 other Venator Star Destroyers.
They were looking for Obi-Wan after breaking through the Separatist blockade in the system. On the Bridge, Anakin looked down and Earth and the Admiral from the Negotiator walks to him with Admiral Yularen.
Anakin turns to the Admiral, "Are you sure Obi-Wan's down on this planet?". Admiral: "Indeed. Obi-Wan stayed on the planet called Earth to help a man called John Connor and a Resistance to fight a different type of machines. Last I spoke with him. They were pushed back".
Anakin looked to his clone captain, "Rex. Load the Boys onto the Gunships. Looks like were gonna save Obi-Wan and Cody,... again", Rex nodded, "Copy that General. Alright Boys. Let's it up! Move It!".
Anakin looks to Yularen, "You keep the skies cleared". Yularen grin, "I will do that. Skywalker". Anakin look to the other Admiral, "Head back to the Negotiator. Your fleet's gonna need you". The Admiral nodded and ran out fast.
Skynet Main Base. Los Angeles. June 5, 2017. 5:47 pm.
The Resistance are punching through the defenses with the aid of the HK Tank controlled by Warren. While passing the gates, 2 HK Tanks flies in front and shoots the tank. Warren use the guns to destroy the engines as the HK Ariels fell hard.
Connor: "The Tank's taking too much damage. We won't make it to all the turrets". T-Bone asked, "Then what are you going to do?". Connor: We'll have to go in on foot, find a way inside the Main Base. Take the remaining turrets offline another way". Warren: "On Foot, Huh?", Bulkhead: "We don't have a lot of options. We need this HK Tank remain intact".
Boulder: "Can you get more of those turrets?", Warren: "Maybe a few. This tank is falling apart. And I don't like it!". The a couple of rocket barrages come out of nowhere from the sky.
The Bulkhead looked up to see a Republic LAAT Gunship flying down with Anakin and Rex onboard. Anakin: "Looks like we're here to save the day again". Obi-Wan smiled, "Anakin. I'm I glad to see you". Cody: "You're sight for sore eyes, Rex old boy", Rex: "You too, Brother". Heatwave: "Friends of yours?", Cody: "Family".
Anakin's Gunship and 5 others with a AT-TE landed safe on the ground as 3 other gunships we're shot down. The gunship lowered to drop off Anakin and Rex on the HK Tank , "The rest of our landing party will have to land a little farther back from here".
Obi-Wan: "You are to be one of many Jedis to make necessary risks". Rex grin, "Is that a bad thing?", "To you" Cody rebelled back. Anakin turns to see 3 T-600 and 2 Spider walking this way, "Those are the machines you were battling? You should had them destroyed quick", Obi-Wan: "They've tend to fight back in big numbers and the T-600s and like Super Battle Droids only better".
Anakin jumped backwards to battle, "Always on the move". Anakin turns on his lightsaber made quick work on the T-600 and Spiders. One T-600 tried to shoot Anakin in the back, but was shot in the head by Bulkhead.
Anakin turned and was quickly amazed, "How has it been since you and I last fought?", Bulkhead clapped hands, "2 Years and a Month". Anakin was confused, "Two? It's been a year and a month", Bulkhead hold his hand out, "I'll explain later. Right now we have to destroy the last AA Guns on foot". Connor: "We'll need three of your best men and clones. We'll go in, get our guys out and then get those anti-aircraft turrets offline".
Warren: "Jones, Washington, Torres! Go with Connor. The rest of you, fan out. Take down any remaining machines. We need to ensure Connor and his squad makes it inside. Cuz if they don't get all of those turrets down. All of us are in the world of hurt. Hey Connor,... Good Luck".
Bulkhead turns back to Anakin, "Hope you don't mind sparing more clones?". "Mind it? I'm gonna lead the Assault myself. You coming?!" said Anakin as he rushed inside. Bulkhead shook his head, "Things haven't change one bit".
Inside the complex of the Main Base. June 5, 2017. 8:00 pm.
The battle continues with Anakin, Bulkhead, Rex, Connor, Blair, Jones, Washington, Torres and a lot of clones barge through the entrance. Anakin was impressed that these people with limited clones blasters did all of this, "You guys really did some major damage, Bulkhead and,... Connor, is it?. Blair: "They didn't know what hit them", Connor: "Well they know now and they're none too happy about it".
Anakin holds out his lightsaber, "Then lets show what the Republic can do in full force". The Heroes, Scavengers and Clones faced head on and meeting with them are 3 Spiders. Anakin blocks the bolts while Rex shoots.
Then a fast slash came out of nowhere and reveals Kirito with his Eludcidnator in hand. Kirito nodded. Behind them is T-Bone and Heatwave, T-Bone: "Your not thinking of starting the party without me do ya?". Bulkhead shrugs, "You know me, T-Bone". Anakin chuckled, "I'm starting to like you guys already".
They agreed and moved on. Linda called in, "Hows it looking down there, Connor?". Connor: "Most of the turrets are down. Taking the last of them offline the old fashioned way. Are the planes ready?", Linda(Radio): "They're circling. Under Bulkhead's Orders to maintain minimum safe distance".
"(Scoff). Of Course he does" said Heatwave as Bulkhead can here that, "I heard that!". While pushing through, on the high-catwalks. Klein deflects incoming bolts as scavengers, resistance and clones battled Terminators. On the second level are two spiders and a endo waiting for them. They've missed and the soldiers took cover. Connor and the others took care of it as they moved onwards.
Connor: "Follow Me!". They come across prisoners as Kirito and Anakin cut out the locks and freed the prisoners, Boulder: "Move this way. It's safer there". Rex: "That's it". All of the Prisoners got out except for a few that piked up a rifle and fought along side them.
The next room has a T-7-T Spider and a T-600 that shot down a clone trooper. Connor and Anakin made work on them hard. Anakin looked to Connor, "Your not bad, Connor". John nodded, "Thanks". They looked up on a Catwalk to see Obi-Wan and Cody fighting machines with, Po, Kim and Delta Squad.
They got to a corridor to find 3 resistance fighters. One of who John knows is David Weston. John: "David". David was speechless, "I... I can't believe it. I.". David hug John while trying not to cry, "Thank You".
Player 2: "I can't believe you back for us". Player 3: "Yeah... It's amazing... Just amazing". Connor: "We don't have a lot of time. Washington, Torres and Jones will escort you back to our vehicles where you can get medical attention and wait for evac".
Player 3: "Hey. You're not resistance. Who are you?". Bulkhead: "They can fill you in later. Right now We need to figure out how to get inside that building. You have any Bad Ideas?", Kirito facepalm, "Seriously?".
David: "The Service Tunnel. They're tight, but they'll take us there". Rex: "Us?". David: "I'm going with you, Connor. Least I can do after everything you've done", Connor: "I can't ask you to do that", David: "You're not. Let's go"
Jones: "You Good?". Kirito: "Yeah. We're good. Get those guys and other prisoners back to the trucks, and be careful". So John, Blair, David, Bulkhead, Heatwave, Kirito, Anakin and Rex heads on deep into the base.
They found the control room as T-600s walking in the perimeter. Boulder is hack the terminal as the rest hold back the troops. Connor: "This is John Connor calling Resistance HQ, Do you copy?", Linda(Radio): "We hear you, Connor. Go ahead".
Connor: "I'm gonna bring the turrets offline. Give us five minutes or so to get out of here, then blanket this place", Linda(Radio): "Great Work! We've got choppers and gunships coming in to evac you boys. Where should I have them meet you?".
Connor: "There's some wounded men by the outer walls. Get them out first", Linda(Radio): "Copy that". Blair: "You almost done in there?". Connor: "Yeah. The program just needs to run for a few minutes".
Heatwave: "Then help us fight off the these machines!". Connor, Blair, David, Bulkhead, Heatwave, T-Bone, Kirito, Rex and Anakin gets in position and holds off about 5 T-600s with 3 more coming in the room. Rex: "Let's use the Sword and Shield Maneuver!". Heatwave: "What does that mean?", Anakin: "We swordsmen block, shooters with grenades fires!".
Kirito and Anakin deflects the bolts back at the T-600s as Connor, Blair and Heatwave fires RPGs with Bulkhead, T-Bone and Rex shooting. They got all of the Endos as they relax now. John went back to a server room and almost got shot by a T-600 coming in. Connor quick fires a rocket to slow it down, "Almost got Me!". Kirito and Anakin made quick work with the Endo.
Then more T-600s came from the front entrance the rest cover fires with Connor back on the computer, Blair: "I thought you were done, Connor?!". "Little present for Skynet" said Connor as he taps in a few the T-600s suddenly gave out a EMP blast and fell down.
Outside of the Complex of the Base.
The Terminators of all types: T-600, T-7-T and Aerostats let out and EMP blast and they too fell down to the ground. Obi-Wan, Cody, Asuna, Klein and Boulder were stunned. Everyone else yelled out as a victory.
The Group was stunned. David: "Well that worked. What was it?", Connor: "I rigged the system to send out an EMP. Forced to shutdown. They'll reboot in a few minutes. So we better get out of here". David: "Okay. Follow me".
Bulkhead taps to the comms, "All fighters. Evacuate the Main Base. Repeat Evacuate".
Outside of the Complex of the Base.
Bulkhead(Radio): Our Birds is going to blanket the entire area. Get out now". Boulder: "We need to go now". "Let's Bug Out of Here, People!" said Warren as he gets the HK Tank out of here. Obi-Wan: "Alright men. You heard the General. We need to leave now". Cody: "Everyone evacuate now to the gunships!". Asuna: "Everyone out now!". Klein: "Yeah. Like make like a Banana and Split!".
Everyone split as they got out fast with their vehicles intact and the AT-TEs safely carried out of here.
In the Complex.
Connor, Blair, David, Bulkhead, Heatwave, T-Bone, Kirito, Rex and Anakin ran pass a lot of disabled Terminators, "This is so surreal" said Kirito as he keeps running, Blair: "You'll get used to it".
Connor and the rest got outside to the platforms, "This is John Connor to all available Resistance pilots. Commence your bombing run!".
Warthog 1: "Roger that. We are on our way. We're go for a bombing run". 3 A-10 Thunderbolts and 5 Clone Y-Wing Bombers heads to the Skynet Main Base.
Connor, Blair, David, Bulkhead, Heatwave, T-Bone, Kirito, Rex and Anakin heads to the choppers. Soon the T-600s began to reboot and fires on them. Too bad that Kirito and Anakin can deflect bullets while running.
They got to the Huey Helicopter and takes off out of there. The Huey chopper was the last one just to pick up our heroes in time as the 3 Warthogs and 5 Y-Wings passed by and bombed the place to bits. The T-600s tries to fight back, but they didn't had a chance as the place blew up sky high. Nothing is there but rubble.
The Resistance Command saw the chaos from the Hijacked Skynet Satellite above the Virtual Space Atmosphere. Even Admiral Yularen on the Resolute saw this up there.
The Republic troops and Resistance Fighters went back to the site to see the damage. After that battle, Border 2 was now green on the board and it now belongs to them. They finally got border 2. But to all players, it was impossible. Except for John Connor.
Connor: Players keep asking why we did it. Why we went back with only a group of scavengers to free border 2 and free refugee prisoners there, When it was so impossible to beat.
But it wasn't about the numbers. It was about the message. It was about principle. I think in time they'll understand.
Back in the Air Force Base Bakersfield. June 6, 2017.
Players celebrates this Victory with joy and song. Clones of 212th Ghost Company, 501st Legion Company, 15th Blood Oath Division and 1st North Division cheered and played with other players and characters. Connor: I think deep down. They already do.
Connor was walking around as he sees friends new and old partying, Connor: It was a small victory that day. But already, things are different. All around me, i see change. Warren and other Scavengers was welcome to North Division as the new 23rd Armor Division with Warren as Brigadier Commander.
Blair, Barnes and John's Wife Kate Brewster were part of the group talking about new strategies.
Obi-Wan, Anakin with and the Jedi Council with Chancellor Adam Wayne on Hologram made and alliance with the Resistance for VR Earth Real Matter Resources. Obi-Wan, Anakin, Cody and Rex stayed on Earth to continue the fight. Connor: I used to think of the world the way it used to be and trying to find strength in these old memories.
Kirito and Asuna plays with human mode Yui. Klein and Liz were bickering again on things with Agil, Silica and Po and Mangle giving gentle laughs. Sinon nodded to Connor to show where Bulkhead is at. Heatwave and Boulder we're talking to Gramm and Kade on the holo-table to check things back home while their stuck.
Ron opened a Bueno Nacho shop in the game and selling players for a good price. Kim and Monique opened a Club Banana in game too to sell military wear. Connor then sees T-Bone as he points out with his thumb with a smile grin to find Bulkhead.
There Connor sees Bulkhead looking out through the window in with calm and serenity. Connor: But now I think of the future instead, of the world we're going to create. John then stands right beside Bulkhead. Connor: and it gives me faith.
The Two stand at the sunset for the longest 2 minutes. Connor: "We did it". "Yep. We did" Bulkhead replied. Bulkhead: "We've shown the world and the real world that Skynet here can be beaten. Ans it's not the new weapons or the new vehicles. It's about the strength in the heart. Something Sora taught me".
Connor smiled, "Sora and Optimus would be very proud of the man you've become". Bulkhead looked to John and chuckled,... "We'll get out of this. And we will win this War. Together".
