Sleeping Beauty's Dream

"Before being awakened by true love's kiss, Aurora aka Briar Rose has some very interesting dreams. She dreamt that she was still dancing with Prince Philip in the woods, but how long until she is awakened? Or will she stay asleep forever?" This happens during the original plot, will update the story as I progress with more chapters coming your way.

Sleeping Beauty's Dream

Chapter 1

The three fairies thought Maleficent had won, until Merryweather decided to stay, and look after Rose.

"What could that girl possibly be dreaming about anyway?" Merryweather wondered about the sixteen year old princess with golden blonde hair, and violet colored eyes.

Before she could answer, Flora said "Merryweather, we are going to put everyone to sleep until Rose awakens and breaks the spell."

"But who will watch over Rose? Somebody has to keep an eye on her in case Maleficent comes back to_"

"Oh stop your worrying! You will do just fine without us for a while." said Fauna

"Yes, you will make sure Rose isn't in anymore danger, warn us with your wand by casting a light in thin air in case Maleficent tries to come back to the castle. We will come and get you so we can free Prince Philip from the tower ok dear?" explained Flora.

"Yes Flora." Merryweather replied.

An hour passes by, then Merryweather decided to use her magic to go into Rose's mind to see her dreams for herself while the other two fairies are out.

In a moment, Merryweather was in the sleeping mind of the missing princess.

Music plays the original "Once Upon a Dream" song.

"I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream.

I know you, the gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam.

Yet I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem.

But if I know you, I know what you'll do.

You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream."

"Oh that song again, that is the same song that Rose kept on singing every night! I wonder what else she is thinking about?" Merryweather wondered curiously.

The next scene transitions into the rest of the deep dark forest, a glowing green light shows up and sparkles brightly in the mist.

"Uh oh, it's Maleficent!"

The evil laughter roared through Rose's unconsciousness. Merryweather spotted Flora, and Fauna in the dream.

"What in heavens are you doing in Rose's mind? You almost got killed, get out of there this instant!"

Then off the good fairies went to go save Prince Philip, Rose's true love from the evil hands of Maleficent.
