One graceful autumn day. Kipper and Tiger decided they were going to go on a hot air balloon ride and see the pretty sights down upon them. After they brought out the hot air balloon hidden in Kipper's enormous basement, they set it up so it was all ready to go.

"Have you got everything? Do you have all the snacks you'll need in case you get hungry? Have you got the AID kit?" Pig asked with concern.

"Yes, yes, we do Pig." Kipper replied reassuringly. "Don't worry. We'll be fine. We will be home before you know it!"

After the two of them said their goodbyes, they went off on their trip. The sky had surprisingly few clouds, and the ground below had a lot of flowers (mainly roses and daisies). "Imagine if we were able to stop this balloon to look at the flowers." Tiger said trying to hide his worry. He was quite anxious about having to go on a ride that was way above the ground.

"Believe me if we could, and if we were allowed to, I would pick out as many flowers as I could for you and me!" Kipper replied happily.

"I adore his positive spirit!" Tiger thought to himself while smiling. And it was true. He really did adore his best friend's everlasting positive energy. There was a reason why he and Kipper were best friends.

"Oh! Let me get a better look at these sights with my binoculars!" Kipper exclaimed, reaching into the bag to grab out a sky blue pair of binoculars. He put them up to his eyes and looked below.

"Oh my! These roses and daisies look very beautiful together!" Kipper handed his binoculars over to his friend. "Take a look Tiger!"

Even though Tiger already had his own binoculars he really didn't feel like taking them out, so he accepted Kipper's binoculars humbly.

"My goodness, you're right Kipper! They do look better up close!" Tiger said. They weren't even wrong. The dark redness of the roses and the small and white petals of the daisies clashed in with each other extremely well. It made Tiger so fascinated that it made him hungry. He pulled a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and was about to eat it. Unfortunately for him he held it over the edge of the balloon, and due to his clumsiness, he accidentally dropped it leaving food for the bird flying across to eat.

Tiger immediately felt a mix of both sadness and embarrassment. He was never gonna see that well-made sandwich again, plus he had promised himself multiple times that he wouldn't be clumsy on this trip. Kipper saw Tiger's hands on his face, able to see the pink blushing from embarrassment.

"Here Tiger! You can have my peanut butter and jelly sandwich!"

Tiger really didn't want to risk turning it down so he accepted politely. He then ate Kipper's sandwich, savoring every bite both from the food and the feeling of happiness from Kipper's sweetness.

"I'm so glad to have a sweet friend like Kipper…" Tiger thought to himself.

The sun was beginning to set over the hills. The colors were a beautiful mix of orange, purple and pink, the sun fitting the setting well. Kipper and Tiger watched the sunset together.

"Hey Kipper?"

"Yes Tiger?"

"You're my best friend. I mean I love all my friends equally but… you are the one who cares about me the most. You're always the first to comfort me when something goes wrong, and you're always the one to make me food when I'm too tired to do so. I love you for that."

Tiger had a small smile as he gazed at Kipper. "Awwwww! That is just so sweet of you Tiger! You're my best friend too!" Kipper replied.

It was an overly cliche response for sure, but when Kipper says something with a completely honest tone in his voice, he means it for real.

Tiger continued to stare at Kipper, before quickly expressing pure joviality by hugging his closest friend. It was one of the sweetest moments between the two of them.

When the two of them returned home, they had a small welcome back party between Kipper, Tiger, Pig and Arnold, who ate five of the ten pastel purple cupcakes with the his usual blank look on his face.

"So what was your favorite part of the trip?" Pig asked Kipper and Tiger.

Both replied with "spending time with my friend!"

"Tiger!"

"Kipper!"

The two friends looked at each other, then beamed at each other. Pig responded with a grin back.

Sure, they could have some disagreements and they may be different in personality, but if there's no changing that no matter the problems, Kipper and Tiger were, are and will forever be best friends. Ever since they were children, it was obvious then that nothing about their friendship will change.
